Adventist Radio London inspiration for the song Welcome talking Point with Ray Angela, discussing the hot topics and answering your questions, Saturday's five to seven pm on Adventist Radio London. It's talking Point, It's talking Point, it's talking Point, it's talking Point conversations. You need to welcome to talking Point here from Colchester in the Sunny Essex Essex, Sunny Essex. Um and we are in the talking Point um on the music day, on the music Day, and so

um with that in my favorite your favorite? Okay, why is it your favorite? Ennia? I think music has the power to move people. Um. And I think the pressure I saw in the presence of the Lord and for me, that's just what music is about and that's why it's my favorite. Okay, Okay, Pedro, how are you feeling You're in Colchester? Yeah, I've been. I've actually been a Colchester before. You've been a Colchester for my job? Okay, Okay, Pedro. For those that don't

know, listen by radio. Pedro is living in Halifax. Um. And it's not the building society I wish he wish you could live inside of the building. I live with the I live with the cows, the chickens and sheep man. Don't call you anyway, Yeah you know I was doing that anyway. Um, what what we what we have this afternoon? Guys? Is it is music day here in Colchester? And um, Patricia, who is you know the head of music here? Um? How I don't I

mean anyway? The head of music here? And Patricia, we want to ask you which Josephine, I want to ask you a couple of questions, um about your wonderful church called Colchester. Um, everyone say say hi to Patricia. Hi, Patricia. Good good. That don't sound like it's on, So if we could make sure it's on? Everyone is on? Yeah, it's good, it's good. Zena asked Patricia. A wonderful question to get it started. I saw you're the director of music here at Colchester.

I call myself music leader. But yes, how long have you been in that role? And what do you find rewarding about it? The thing about my role is it's it kind of just evolved. When I joined coaches to church, there wasn't really like a music leader, and so sometimes we just you know, walk up to them and you know, just help the church to sing I actually do say this all the time. I can't really sing. I admit it passed away. You don't have to rub it in.

But I love music. So I've been in this role, I think for a few years. I don't know. Just involves every time they are choosing somebody to lead music. They asked me if I want to lead, and I'm quite happy to do that. Even if I don't sing, I'll make everybody else sing. Amen. There is a saying. He is just saying, if you can't make a joyful noise, and you make an awful noise

onto the long you know. So I'm not saying that you. I'm not saying that you, but I'm June said, if you can't make a joyful noise, pat you made an awful noise, then I wonder why everybody else came back this afternoon. It's not what I Oh, no, we all heard you. We heard you. That's not what she meant. What you mean? What did you mean that? What I meant is that all to the glory of God. I am man a man that don't go Why would

you use the word awful while talking about Patricia? Anyway? And moving on moving on, I part you anything on your mind in regards to music and or even Colchester, that that the wonderful leader of music can help us with. Patricia, Patricia, what's your surname? Tell us your surname? We want to know everything about you on radio. My father's name or my husband's name. Give you if you're married, then your husband's name. Yes, right, okay, it's come a London. Yes, that sounds like a

very sophisticated name. Is sophisticated. Yeah, your husband's sophisticated guy, So no problem anyway, go ahead, Do anything come to mind when you talk about come to mind? Like just about the church? Yeah, anything anything. She she's the leader. She knows the answers. Oh, I see your question. That's right. Yeah. Actually my question will actually be the opposite, like what do you find the most difficult about being a music leader? Oh, can't be music leader? Not pass the right to answer?

Oh okay, yeah, thank you, thank you very much. I already say that, I already admit that I can't sing, but I love to sing. I will sing for you pass away anyway. Well, I find difficult. Um. Every week I'm supposed to put up a list of songs for like the song service and divine as well, and get everybody to be involved in In my personal capacity, sometimes I'm so tired on the Sabbath, but I have to come to church to just be even if it's just in

time for music, so that I can help my team. But that's the difficulty I've been having, you know, like in my own personal life. But yeah, I'll work. I'll work an assistant, Yes, I do, I do. I don't know if Josephine can move to coaches which Josephine. Josephine not passed away, I said, joseph No, Well, we're trying to get rid of Josephine off the radio. Yeah, yeah, I'm trying to get rid of Josephine. So all in favor that we vote Josephine

can come to It's carried, It's characters carried. Josephine is no longer on the radio anyway. See how easy it is to move folk along, I'll tell you man. Anyway, Patricia, I want to thank you for that little introduction. We'll come back to you as part of leadership here and when it comes to the music, et cetera. Can we get Patrici your hand please, and thank you very much so participating, Um, let's go to music. Can we go to music? Let's go to music. Zeni and

Pedro were not okay. Pedro looks like you're looking at me like sideways. Okay, fine, we're good, just a little tired, but I'm fine, good, good, good, Yeah, Pedro, listen, man, where they live? It's like five hours She's like, right, Tara, five hours from here and they drove. Man, Hey, Edro, I don't know how you bought your children. Can't remember a thing because they were sleeping. Actually, the funny thing, I actually drove further because my last

job last night was at five o'clock. At six o'clock in Blackpool. In blacks in Blackpool, drove the Halifax and then from Halifax drove down Wow wow yeah yeah yeah. And I'm not saying yeah yeah. I tell you, man, Tara, you married a real man, because the rest of us would have stopped in Halifax and not come back. She was like, me, ain't doing this again. I was like, I don't know, yeah,

yeah, but you know, let me say this. If you're from America, you know that we don't mind driving, because when I was there, I would drive just on a weekend drive up to New York from Huntsville and drive back and going to class from Monday morning. And that's like I used to do that fifteen hours. Yeah I was driving. Yeah, that's a regular drive. Yeah yeah. So um. Anyway, I'm just saying, let's get brother, who hoopo, who go? Who go? Who go? Who go? Who go? You go? I go? We

all go to the Kingdom of God. Amen. Amen? Amen. Okay, So if we're not gonna smile, I'm not gonna smile either. Amen. Amen. That's a shadow under horizons and true sir, day by day, and the shadom knows no persons for it times and gathers the soul away no respect of any person, he claims. The people, the strong, theo, all must walk the valley of the shadter, man and woman, the young and old, the val the shutter that will sing for me.

I'll be shouted in the genious and with him ever been, and with him ever be. For the child of God resting in Jesus. He's a part of the germaney to that heavenly place, and the sting of death will be depeatten to the blood of Jesuses. And the face and dress the God shutter sting be shout to in the jess and with my I have been my ever be the shutter and sample shout to. She came, my ever been whip be amen, my brother is it Hugo? There was Hugo. Okay,

just take the mic again for us. We want to ask you a couple of questions about the song that you just sang, if you don't mind this Adventistradio London and we are hearing Colchester at the Talking Talking Point program with myself Zenia, and I was going to say Angela, we need to say a prayer for her, one of our colleagues, Angela. Her car broke down on the way here and so happened to tow her back, and so please keep her in your prayers as well. A matter of fact, could do

you mind if we just pray? Now? Can we do that? Father? We just ask you in a special way to be with our program. But most of our Lord, our hearts are with Angie and we pray that her and her mom would have whatever the situation is that they find themselves in now that you will sort it out for them. Our goal is is that they wish they could be here before the program's over, but if they need

to go back home, then let your wi would be done. Ultimately, Lord, we pray that if there's any issues or problems that's difficult for them, go there and work it out on their behalf in Jesus name. Amen. Amen, But we'll go talk to us. What was your inspiration behind this song? Um? Oh, well, like I said, last week, it last week. Yeah, I can't remember now, but two weeks ago, a week two weeks ago. So we were actually here on um

that was Sabbath afternoon. Yeah, um, having a rehearsal for this program and uh, Schamisa wasn't here yeah um, and we had that she was not feeling very well, so only for me to drive home. Yeah, And then I started seeing all this WhatsApp updates, people posting pictures of Semis up shamisso on their WhatsApp thing and the old tears, and I was a bit shocked that it was like this. This cannot be happening because on my way home with another sister of ours, Matilda, we were actually talking about

her in the car. Only for me to wake up in the morning I found that she's she's gone, So um, it is it is sad. As someone who has experienced death twice in the family, Yeah, it is absolutely painful. Yeah. Yeah, So when I was told to minister today, I started thinking in terms of what we are passing through. Yeah, And I got across to the song, which personally is a wonderful, lovely

song for me. But I kind of feel like in the midst of all the death and the pain and the stinging, no, we need to realize that it's just temporary. Yeah, and after a time, yeah, God says your weapons, we just focus on the future and not with things that happening now. Thank you, Patricia and Patricia Zenia Pedro. Any anything that you'd like to ask, Well, first of all, I have to say condoleances. Yeah, I didn't know the story myself, but you can sense

the emotion. And that is again what I've said about music. It just has a way of bringing emotion into the picture, bringing feeling. I'm sentiment and we could have felt that from the way you rendered that song beautifully, so beautifully just a moment ago. But death is a difficult thing to handle, to manage, and we have to find a way and music can offer that outlet, you know. And I just pray that God will continue to comfort you and the family and the church family by extension and as we give

him praise, because this is it. We've got to learn to praise Him in every circumstance, in every emotion, and music allows us to do that. Man, Man Pedro, for me, I think for what I hear, like when you were singing, it was almost like you was healing yourself while you were singing. While you were singing, music to me, a

longer being enjoyed heals. Yes, it helps you to reflect on things and and understand that you know, it may be down right now, but we've got we can get up and rise up and dust herself off and it's gonna be all right tomorrow. So while you were singing, that's that's the kind of feeling I got from what you were when you were singing, I got that feeling like you. It was almost like you was healing yourself for the loss. And again, like she said, I'm saying, you said,

Michael Duless for your loss. Um, But um, that were I don't really have a question, to be honest, man, that was intentional. So the last time I saw her was in Patricia's kitchen, Amen. And I was visiting and she was in the kitchen and they were trying to I think they were making pizza and uh well not making it warming it, but if it looked a bit like me when it came out, Yeah, a bit darker than usual. And we had a good laugh about that. Some

of you'll missed it. You missed it, your poor crowd, poor crowd, poor crowd, poor grad Yeah, get it next week here on Thursday. But nevertheless, Um, that was you know, I had so much fun memories of her and also praying together. She was part of the prayer team that we prayed with. So we praised God for her life and for her legacy. And like Alexander said, we have a lot to praise God for because she was an amazing woman. And the UNI students can testify because

that's what those were her babies. Amen. Amen, Amen, thank you for that song. Can we give my hand again? Um? Wonderful wonder her songs? Um, So why don't we ask the congregation, um, who would like to stand and tell us a hymn or a song that means a lot to them? Anybody? Now, there's no gaps in radio, so you all need to move as quick as possible. And yeah, don't

to jump at once unless you're jumping off is a hand over there? Yes, great, great, great, great, stand up and use your biggest voice you have and tell us what the song is and why him night to night? Amen. Yeah, you're gonna sing it if you would give us, give us a little bit. Come on, yes, be on these me won't when it be talk God, God WoT take wrong you? He me all love? Butte gon't we take and wrong you? God say can run true every oh down he take that roll you God wounding a man?

Right, So you've said God will take care of you as your favorite tell us why. Yeah. In my life I've been a young boy at age fifteen, I was in the moment of always friending for myself. Okay, So when I got hold of that him, it has been a motivation. So in my life, whatever happens, what are good or bad? I see God take care of me. Are you only child of big families? We have a family of five, but I happened to be the only advent in the family. Praise God. Yeah, So that's that's that's why that's

thing came around. Of course, in one way or the other I was being kicked aside, but seas in that way. But they saw it in that matter. But I saw myself that the Lord is preparing me for something higher and how I perceived myself. So though in the environment that I was it could be somehow we all disadvantage, but to me it was an advantage for me, for me to explore in the Lord. Yeah, right my hand, wonderful. There are another question, not today though I saw you

coming. Um so to him that it's actually my father's favorite him, which I also love a lot, which is three three four come to up out of every blessing. And it's the last verse really that that rings to me. I'm gonna the one. I'm horrible with words always happened, But um the last verse, Oh to grace, how great a dector. Daily I'm constrained to me, I can say, I can testify to that. Let

thy goodness like a feather, bind me closer still to thee. Prone to wonder Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love. But here's my heart, So take and seal it, seal it for thy course above. You're not singing it. No, no, no, no, another time at least give it the first no, so that we can sing it with you. All right, let's get the first verse first versus h come thou found heavy bless stream while feels my heart joy, get my hands, ask question. I got asking a question. He didn't get off

that easy. As for you. There's a question. So you said that it was your father's favorite him? Yes, what was his? What was the inspiration or why was it your father's favorite him? I might have to ask my mother to answer that question, or maybe maybe what is you know? Yeah, why is it yours? Now? Because that was gonna go next to that too. Yeah, I can identify with the words of a song, and especially that third verse. It's something that we daily need to

renew and daily need to appreciate. Because I can't speak for anyone else, but I know that I struggle daily, and if it weren't for God's grace, I do not know where it would be. So it's a it's a parer that needs to be repeated every single day. Here's my heart. It's prone to stray. So I'm going to put it in your hands because only it's not you know you often say hold on to God's hand. Yeah,

you can't trust that I'm not strong enough. I asked, I have to ask God to hold my hand because he's strong enough to stop me from falling away. Man, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. It's a good quick question for baptisms. Don't it feels like I don't know, maybe the stinks they did, I don't know. I'm sorry. He's one of those that make you cry. Yeah, but rings in my brain like after they got out the water. Yeah that it's take me to the water. But

after that, I don't know. Probably in New York where New York. Yeah, it's just it's just in my head. Yeah, Yeah, it's a man. In New York. They baptize so many people that they sing the whole Him Book. I'm telling you man, and then they go to the Ayuth book and his mom is a is a Bible weather that have led thousands of people. I'm serious to the Lord in the city, in the rue of the roughest cities in the world. And and so he sat through

many baptisms. Trust me, Daniel Religions sent me has everything. So he when he said about singing song, he probably knows the whole Him book inside out. Um, yeah, mummy, Okay, let's say from mom, and those are listening on radio, it's Andre's mom. Well, actually I had a little struggle between the song that he and her husband and I used to love to listen to him just sometimes just humming. That's what and I

will used to do it. But mine also five tweet two five three somewhat connected yea yeah, five tweet two day by day and with this passing movement, Oh why are you trying to make me cry today? You know? Let me just say this. I used to sing that song after I got divorced and moved away, living on my own in a little, one bad place. That song used to make me cry every time. And it's such a powerful song, very well day by day. Oh Lord, you're gonna

sing it? Mom, I think they will Chad go out decide one thing about my parents and my Zenia mentioned this earlier that would always say I can make a joyful noise onto the Lord in phasis on noise. I didn't grow up in the singing family. But listening a line man, listening a line everybody come on by day music by s Sati five, my clients, I see he's as hallelujah, Come and put your hands together again for mama. Wonderful song, wonderful wonderful song. Ah, man, that's good, that's

good, Patricia, we need a special song. So I don't know who's here. If Um Susanna's daughter showed, they still come in there, like Jesus, they're on the way. You know, Me and Jesus. We argue all the time. He keeps saying he's coming, but I'm looking for him, and yeah, he's right on time, but I don't want to pay normal counsel time. So okay, oh, this daughters called honey. Oh what a what a wonderful name. So she came before Jesus. See,

Honey, we've been waiting for you. They told us that your mom cannot is your mom, she cannot sing without you. Um, and what a great name to call your daughter, Honey. Almost as nice as Angie, my daughter. Okay, don't start, Patricia, and so are We're going to welcome Susanne and Honey, both of them together. Use the microphone please, Good afternoon, Church, Good afternoon. We've got a couple of songs. Would you like to have one or two or three? One?

One right? Okay, So we have a family group together. My husband, my son, my daughter Anne. Guy, you were doing good until you said guy, um, yeah we are. We are from Hungary. Yeah, and they speak Hungarian. They have to speak Hungarian and they speak of course in English. Amen. How wonderful. And we're going to play something really really nice song. Good and please welcome. Amen. Give her hand, Guys, give them a hand, let's hand a listening. The

whole family is blessed. Look at this. You call me out the pond, the great with fem and then find you win mistry, notions d my faith with sits, and I will call upon your names and keep my eyes above waves. The notions rise my soul, brest in your brains for you and you are mine crime and you are my he. I don't even remember who sings that song. Yeah, somebody sings that pedro would you question? Oh honey, right, yeah, okay, sorry, Just like it is like inspiration for the whole family or just that's one of your favorites. That's the best with you, pu, I'd say it's one of my favorites because usually when um, I don't know when anyone's said, it cheers us up. So that's

when it starts singing it. Okay, you can librate, you can let oh, okay, the family. Now, you guys are amazing, because I mean, it's like I'm listening to it. I was going to say a CD, but there no CDs around, no more. But but it sounded so good, man, it sounded so good. Your house must be like a beautiful place to be. It really is. Yeah, we're moving everyone, we're moving over to that house. And you know what, let

me say, mom and dad. It's great when young people are saying their home is a beautiful place to be, because I'm at school din with a lot of children from various schools, and that's not the commentary in a lot of houses homes. I should say, So we praise God for you guys. Go ahead, Daniel. Well, I just wanted to ask because this morning, honey, you were playing an instrument as well, won't you?

Yes? I was, yes. So not only are they singers. They're musically talented, so that's amazing, and continue to use your gift for the Lord, your spiritual gift. As Pastory likes to correct me, it's not a talent, it's a spiritual gift. In the Kingdom, I want to ask the young man this morning. He was playing that lead guitar like he was playing on a big set at Glastonbury, one of those And you know, I'm one of those people. I love hearing that sound because it brings

out the melody of the song. What does playing the instrument mean to you? I mean the guitar, Well, it's, in my opinion, it's an amazing instrument for me. You can just like you sit there, you have your fingers on the threat board and you just move him about and you can just close your eyes. You know where to put it. Yeah, it's that feeling that like it satisfies you, and it it was just like you don't have to think about it, and it's just get lost in the

music. You're fine, and then you'll performed to their list. Basically, That's what I'm saying. It's just it's amazing how an instrument works. It's like your brain and the instrument connect. Hey, I was actually going to say that that. I actually asked him what his most what was his mom I doing lunch? I said to him, I said, how many instruments do you play? And he started naming them all off and I said, okay, next question, what's your strongest instrument? He told me the saxophone.

So with the saxophone, do you feel even more with the guitar? Um, Well, they're both the same opinion, it's just one's blogging and the other ones paying playing with your fingers the sacks. I mean, the saxophone is more of a solo instrument in a way, right. Um. Obviously guitar has different types of techniques and everything. But with saxophone, there's that feel, there's a m I don't know, you had to say it.

It's just it pleases everyone. I think, where is it when I when I played in school, for example, I played and everyone was cheering, literally everyone. I felt overwhelmed. Um, people said I was better than the singer. Wow, it was. There's there's a lot of there's a mute in the whole thing. Playing an instrument, it is pretty good. How long have you been playing? Um? The saxophone? I've been playing for about five years the guitar of self taught myself and it's about a

year and a half. Wow, you and a half. Wow. I can play the drums as well. Yeah. But um, let me, let me, let me, let me ask you this question. And it is random, is random, so forgive me. But do you and your sister fight like normal siblings? Yes? You do? Yes, okay, and it runs in the family. The family. Then you start and then you start singing afterwards. Yeah, that's how all the solutions come. Singing to the man. Um, honey, God bless you, mom and dad

and brother. I didn't get the young man's name, Benjamin Truth, Benjamin as in the tribe of Benjamin. Okay, Um, but we're happy and glad that you guys are part of our program. God bless your as you continue to minister, hopefully we'll have enough time to get you to do one more before we leave the airwaves today. Wow, guys, this is good. This is good. We were we were actually thinking that we may have to do a lot to fill in the program. But this is good quality.

This is Colchester Sevenday Venice Church and they are doing it big style. Um. There was a group that sangned this morning. Um, they called them the UNI students. We got to think of another name for the UNI students that don't sound like a name that they should carry on. Yeah, So so we need to think of a name of what the unied guys while they're singing? Can you think of a name for them, the UNI students? And can I invite you guys to come up and give us a song?

He's that all right? Can you put ants together for the UNI students? Please halluia, salvation and gloryy, honor and all power to the Lord God. For the Lord God is mighty. Yes, the Lord God is o nippoting the Lord Ah God, he the wunderfool Halleluiah, salvation and bloody, honor and power to the Lord God. The God, Lord God is my too. He's a night Yes, the Lord I God is a nipple tense. Oh, the Lord God he is onderfool. Oh brases be to

the King of Kings and the Lord God. He is one fall, Oh brass be to the King of Kings and the Lord, Oh God, he's waderfoh Haillelujah, Salva, shine, glory, salvation and glory. He is wa underfool Hallelujah, Salvay, shine and glory, honor and power. He is warm underfool, Hillelluiah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, Hallelluiah. He is widerfold oh Hilloah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, hallelujah, Halleluiah, halle Hallouia. He is wunderfoolrationlia. Yeah, he is wider pool Rationellia.

He is widerfoola. He wifoolua Halleluia, Halleluia, Halleua, halleluia, Hallelluiah. He's wind underfool Hillnlluia, Halleluia, Hallelujah, hallelujah, halleluiah, Halleluiah. He is widunderfool. Oh bray had been to the and he's wise and wide. They say, right there, guys, don't move a muscle. Don't move a muscle. I want someone in the congregation to tell me where that what they sang is taken from in the Bible. It's a verse in Revelation. I wonder if they know you don okay, Oh, there's a

hand Revelation ninety in my hand Revelation nineteen verse one. That's right, boy, Ben, you're not only a musician, you're a scholar the world of God too. And so ladies, listen, man, I actually we I was actually talking about that verse during lunch. We yeah, that's remember that you were telling me it was weird because oh wow, yeah wow. Now listen, man, you called the UNI group, and we're gonna come up with a name for you all because pop listening by radio probably thinking UNI group.

Um. Anyway, that means that you're from different places. You met. Did you meet at UNI? You met at UNI? So you actually came to and use the microphone please. You guys actually came from coaches, I mean two coaches. So yeah, basically, just that's your story of how we came together. I think, as you heard in Divine Service, it was sister shamso is really the reason why we're all together because we all used to just come as like youth on random time. She'll come once by

herself, there's no one here. I come, there's no youth. They come, there's no youth. And then she was just like, you girls need to sing together all of the youth. She didn't care any excuses, none, of that. So if you need a lift, I will pick you up. If you need anything, she will literally all here for you. And from that time. Personally, I'm from Zimbabweb and I had been

struggling with my faith for a long time. And because I'm someone who's so like centered around music and everything like that, her bringing these guys into my life has literally any time I give any excuse not to come to church, They're on me. Why where are you, what are you doing? And

why are you not here? Like God had literally placed Sister Shamso at such a critical time for us to all come together to meet to just she literally bound us together like and that's why using her really hurts us a lot. But we know that, like through music, we know that we are doing exactly what she wanted us to do. That was God fulfilled her purpose in our lives. And we're so so grateful for her, Like we cry every

time you mention her. We try because just of how much she brought into our lives in such a small space of time, Like these guys don't realize that now we have each other, and like it's what we all needed everyone. We needed church friends. We needed church friends and she just took one person to bring us all together. So until we find a name where chamis? Girls? So what is your name? I'm Chiara Shuma. Okay, the lady next to you, I'm Bridge. When you're from Ghana, you're

from Ghana, Y're the thing from Ghana. Yeah. Yeah, we're praying for both yours. We are not going to do that, not today. See that you're gonna fight me, fight me on radio. My name is Arequa was just like I'm also from Ghana and my name is Danian. Yeah okay. My name's an Tembo from zim Yeah okay, okay, Oh well look at that. Look at that. Look at that now before you go back to your seats and before I don't know if the guys have any of the questions, but I do want to ask you this. What are you

studying at UNI or are you still at UNI? Um? And then of course you know, yeah what do you study politics? Law and politics? Second year Law and politics? Here you're from Zimbabwe for real. Yeah, when I was in Zimbabwe, when I wasn't Zimbabwe, everyone did politics. They wake up in the morning, they turn on that radio or they turn on the TV and everyone is into politics. And listen. They all know how to solve the problem. Man, I tell you I met I met

Mugabi one day. I was in the airport. I wasn't happy, thought, let me tell you why I was in the airport okay, And you know how the airport is in in Harari is No, he wasn't Harari. He was a bill of whale, small airport. And so we had to wait because he has one plane that goes to Harari and comes back and the airspace he has and the airspace, okay, cannot be used while he's he's doing his trips. My flight was delayed three hours. Remember the man came.

The man had a motorcade waiting at the place. He had the road at the red carpet, and he walked on the red carpet. His cow was by the terminal. We were literally by the terminal. He came out waving at us, you know, and I'm in my mind fuming because he made me fist miss the first night of the revival. Nevertheless, that's why it's the movement. We have a lot of humor to deal with all our

political issues. We just have to laugh it through, you know, good good, and and what is my sister studying other than trying to fight me in public right, occupational therapy. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's you. That's great. Biomedical science, guys are too deep for me. Let me hear the actuarial science. What science? Actuarial science, which is it's like a mathematical science. In fact, my mathematical science are mathematical, so it's like sure, yeah, it's like maths, finance, economics,

the science of programming. Yeah, there's a lot of money. Yeah, there's money. Those those poor men that will get to you guys. Wow, those have been listening by radio. You should see these ladies. Man, they look prosperous already already, and and they haven't even started making the money yet. Listen, guys, keep guard in your life. Shamiso would be happy with what you guys are doing. And if you want to see her again, you know what to do. And stay with God. Is

an anything you want to say before? Okay, good, good good. They're going to fight us other way. Salvation and Geory, Revelation nineteen and verse one. Put your hands together again for the group. The humanity groups are Patricia, beautiful, beautiful. M see Patricia want to take all the praise. No, ain't coming back, ain't coming, ain't coming. There's only one family over there that will get me back the rest of your I

don't know now, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Um. Listen, guys, as we think about, you know, hymns and all of that is, any hymns that we have between us that we could think about, that's him. I talked about one that Mum inspired, Um Pedro or or Zenia that strikes accord with you musically. I mean Pedro hears hymns all day. But I'm sure tires in a house singing just because well, I too from a musical family. Oh sing Za sings Zenia. No I shall not sing.

Um. I used to play the piano. My dad still plays the piano. He plays by ear. So he my father does every supposed concert, every street concert, every wake, every he's the man to call. Okay, Um. And one of our favorite songs to sing together is Whiter than Snow. I think it's um five nine nine. I got right. I'm not sure, um, but whiter than snows. Watch me and I shall be worded, Watch me and I shall be whiter than You're gonna give us the first line um if we sing together. How about okay, let's

let's help Zenia. Yes, please, because her dad can sing. But she don't look like she got sleep. I want me I there me go. Yeah. Uh time? Why didn't you know? Oh yes, yes, time a amen? Pat you anything on your mind. I do have a favor with him, but you're gonna think of them crazy when I tell you to him? Your wife say you, what is it? I actually

fifty one days dying in the west. Oh yeah. And the only is why I say that is because, as you said, with my father being a pastor, my mother being a Bible worker, my sabbaths were busy. Yeah, and you were happy to see the problem. No, I was happy. But you know it's from like a forty five to eight o'clock in the morn until midnight, and so when when the sun was setting it was time to go home. I was happy. So when we sang this song, it meant we was going home. Yeah. So that's why this is

my favorite hymn. Amen. What number is that one? Right? Let's sing a verse for Petron of those times? Everyone come on they sing together, Evan boy, that takes me back. I used to hate that song. I mean, he's gonna say that. My mom used to sing that song for family worship at the end of the simmer. Oh Lord my god, that was my part. That this is trauma. It's trauma. Oh Lord my god, that's so Yes, ninety six you want to do that eighty six? Well, he got the six rides. It could be the

market to be six six. Let's do let's do aighty six. Oh Lord my god. One I awesome one, go see love, I see stars. I neither minded, done, done, died by through the unis displayed. That sings my soul, my sad God outwear oh glad. Now that sings my soul by sad God. Whether black you said this song was was as good as the last one, better than the no, no, no, no, we don't seem the other one. We're seeing only either thing this one. Yeah. So what does this song mean to you? This

song? This song showed me the power of God. Yes, and how great he is. Amen. Even I wander in the woods, but he I know He's with me, all powerful and all wonderful. Yeah, wonderful, wonderful. Give mahamm and this guy, that's my guy right there, that's my guy right there. Everything's been coming to Coachester. He's been here, man, this guy, and now they told me he is in Captain Clacton. Okay, no problem. The cost is very cheap. No problem.

I mean, I'll let you know what it's on the seaside. Oh lord, No, have you heard the latest report about what's coming up in the sea. Oh lord, I'm not going there. It's talking point on the Serburth Afternoon on the Road Life from Coach es Zenia and I'm Pedro. How's it going? But how you enjoying the program? You haven't said what your favorite song? My favorite song? Oh? Oh you got it? Six three three sixty three three? What's that one when we all get to

heaven? Hey man, sing the one you love Jesus sing is Mercy and He's come on now you'll know the song. Let's play. Come on, Blain like you got some minute, give me some energy, though you can't sing it as good as you're singing the other song. Come on where we all last time? Hallellah, yes, hallelujah, come on, give God a hand, come on, come on, come on? Yeah yeah, yeah, So that's that's my favorite. And normally when I go to preach and the preacher asked me, what, dude, what's your opening song?

Everywhere I go, this is my opening song. So if you invite me back to preach and you ask me, don't ask me the question and just put it on the board. Is that all right? Six three three, Because that's what I'm going to tell you, no matter what I'm gonna preach on, that's the song. All right? So he's Mercy ready? Oh do you know? Can I tell you about Mercy? Mercy came today and

told me that we met in Malawi? Oh? Wow? I was at her home and I didn't read when Now when I left Malawie, she was probably at my waist a little bit about look at Mercy now, Mercy, you have Mercy? Mercy? Ah, please give the family married guards. Man. I can't believe it's you. Look at you? Wow? How you end up in Colchester from sunny warm Malawie, Come on, man, beautiful beaches everything. Yeah, he ended up here? Well, talk about it for us, since we always end up in strange places. Go ahead,

now, what do you what do you got for us today? Okay? So I had a song this afternoon and it's called His Life for Mine? Yeah, I saw shall miss will sign it as well. So, oh man, you're gonna make people crying. I'm trying to produce. You been trying to hold it together all daily. His heart was broken and mine was mended. He became seen. Now I am clean. The cross he carried on my birden then now thought helped him said be free. He's a

life for mine. He's a life for mine. Good in that he would do God Sun would die to say briche like me, my loved divine. He got his life for he scores a suffering broke me. Give his life to feel my eyes. So he fows his life, gave a live gees he sorro gave me time a lie, oh my, he's a lie. Oh my reader to the sun to save bombers one love devide he got his look oh my. He woke his fie his mom and said on I'm saying down precepting and the wh I got time time to save what mind he gave

it. Yeah, you're a second, you're well. First, we need to know how you ended up in contest on gonadstand the army. Huh you got the husband. Yeah, I have a child as well, a little girl. I gotta try. Yeah, I gotta talk to your dad again. Is all grown up in the military. Yes, he's in the military, so he he was posted here and come in, Colchister. Yeah, and you are you? How are you finding life in the UK? Courtious?

Is all right? Okay? We were in Kent and we got used to the life there, but we came here and it's been like six months now, so yeah, we're getting used. And the people at this church especially lovely. So yeah. And then I also want to ask you about the choice of song. The choice of song. Yeah, better song than the amazing love of God. Man. We love each other, yes, but we can die for each other. I don't think we can. So it's just a reminder of God's greatest love man, that surpasses all the love

that we feel like. It's love down here. Yeah, man, man, thank him? Yeah, thank you got a husband and on a child that's a husband. This is your husband, a man. I need to talk to you daddy. Wow. Wow. And I said hi to him on the way in today. I didn't realize I shouldn't have said hi to him. The man is good to see you both. I'm glad that you guys are in the church. Don't go nowhere, Amen. Stay. This is Godship. I don't care how bad things get, Brethren, this is

Godship and it's going all the way to the Kingdom of God. Amen, So stay in it. Amen. Amen. I thought that was good man. Listen, boy, I have colleagues and friends who paid I'll puts up one hundred pounds probably more to get into a concert in Tottenham. I'm not gonna call. Yeah, yeah, I remember, but I tell you there's value. Yeah, this is good stuff. This is good. This is good stuff. But you know, you know, you know, this feels

like Pedro and Zenia. This feels like a little Gaither moment. Indeed, you know where the people are singing and then special people come out of the crowd and do a little thing. You know. I'm not a fan of Gaither, but I like the whole idea. You know what I mean. This is good stuff. You know. Can someone send this guy home? Oh? They told me they got rid of you, man. They when

I asked the question, they told me they got rid of you. So so you're hanging on by a little thread right now, saying anyway, um nah, man, I appreciate every time I come him and his family. This young lady down front, she gives me the warmest welcome ever. I could just put her together and take her away. People would love her. Um, she's great. The Butchwana people I leave in God bless you. Take kiss. She was going so quiet, like I just burst out bubble

man. Oh boy, oh boy. Anyway, we're wrapping up, guys, we're getting to the end of the program. Who we have down my hates people's good good I Bretan. I want to say, man, have you enjoyed the day. Yes, it's been amazing. Man. I just want to do a couple of people I just want to take home with me and and one is the whole family, so down in the whole family. The husband. I don't know about the husband. He looks like he's in the military. You look like you're in the military. He's always moving.

But the children and everybody, I mean, that's a wonderful family. Man. And then of course the people that prepared the food. Thank you very much, Amen for the food. Genie enjoy Pedro again, enjoy I enjoyed it. Okay, Pedro pause, Okay, we're not gonna say anything else. Portray effect. And I didn't enjoy the food. You didn't I did. Oh, okay, yes, it's good. You have a funny whar.

I was just looking at jil plate and you know my plate in my plate, my plate is because you know, That's why I looked that way. It wasn't had nothing new to about the school. So to do about jealousy. Yeah, but jealous I do with it every day. Amen. I know problem. I know, Josephine, you know it is it is, it is. It is her eyes she can wrote it. Amen. Um. Anyway, this group of folk, man, I'm glad they're here. Patricia. I don't know how you got them. Well, I know

how you got them because the ladies here. Yeah yeah, Um. Anyway, Um they're from the Hayese Seven Dead Venice Church. Is that right? Um? When I met them before. I mean the whole church can sing down there. Everybody can just do what they're doing. But what a wonderful fellowship they had. It is called marian Artha, I think, is what it is. And those listen by radio if you'd like to visit them.

One of the members has emigrated to here and emigrated death. They had to use a passport to come up with the border from from London into Essex. Amen and um, and she's here with us, and so that's why they're here obviously. But we heard them this morning. Didn't enjoy them this morning. I mean they were proper on it. Man, I got time for them. That's what I have together and welcome the group from Hayese. Marian Arthur, Amen in a dry and wear whereas no worldter. My soul is

thirsting for you. I have seen you in the senuary, beheld your power and glory, my lad glory, fine, I would praise you. As long as I live in your name. I will lift up my hand your love bees batter now live your life bees battom the love. Honestly, I seen you. My soul is nasting for you because your love thees battom the love, because you are my hell. I will be seeing in the shine your week. I'm staying close beside you. You're right kind of posely I

think of you through that night we singing lips. I will praise and my soul will besides is five your love, bathom the love, your lovebyes bothom the love. Honestly, I seeing you, my soul is lasting for you because your lovebyes bothom the love, Oh god, you my god, Oh my god, I see I'm low hoang fu you, Oh God, my god, my god, I see low live more you love the Bettom then love you love these Betsom then love say this week, don't give me my

give me my microphone. My microphone is a special microphone. Um okay, so I program school talking point. So can we have a talking point about these individuals? Um now listen. Man. First of all, there was a bass sound. Who was that was you? No, you're not supposed to do that. I know, equal opportunities and all that kind of stuff, but Brigrain, you're not supposed to be doing that bass like that. That was That was great. That was great. I was looking for a

dude, I was looking around the corner. I didn't I didn't. I didn't quite I didn't quite get it. But no, that was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. How long have you guys been singing together? This morning? They started to sing, so we are singing family. She's our mom, that's my sister. Yeah, yea, this one is the Yeah. When I first met them, I was in shock. I'm shocked and and and she just said it again and then he reminded me and I'm like,

I'm still in shock, and this is like years ago. Yes, So we are a singing family and that's our anti honorary Auntie Shamilla and she loves to sing as well. So while we were at Amaranatha together, we had a vibrant youth group. So we continued singing and we're still singing. Yeah, praise God. Yeah, So that's that's the mom. That's the mom. I thought there was all like sisters. Yes, I only thought there was like sisters. I just thought the sisters or close friends or you know,

never done that. Mommy daughters are Auntie Like okay, and I'm still shocked. Yeah, still show Um so listen man, So you tagged the Malawi want to be in and you know, as a group, was that song inspirational for you guys or was it just something you chose there is there is there something behind it or individually maybe there may be something behind that particular song. Um, it's a collective feeling about the song. So basically it's

about God's love. It carries us through. It's better than anything. It's just a reminder when the hassles and bustles of life, you know, bring us down. Life doesn't mean much, you know, God, God's love is overall everything. So yeah, that's so a driving force anything on your mind. I didn't shot because I'm not around here. So what what church are you? Originally because you keep saying it, but I'm hearing the accent gets me every time, so I do apologize. I'm an act again.

But they got to march and Maranatha's were in haye. Oh yeah, threw aport, he throw airport. Okay, I'm sorry. It's actually in the airport or near the airport. Okay, yeah, you said he through airport. I'm gonna ask the question. No question is a dumb question, and let you ask. That's all I'm gonna say. All right, moving on, Okay, the question dumb, but all right, I just I didn't know. Okay, and you started Wait, I got a question, you sugar? Oh sorry, yes, struggling. No, I'm not struggling for

a question. The question was more, um, did you start at a young age with with your daughters or like was it well personally come from a very kind of singing for me as well, but my mom sang until last seventies you know, my dad also loved singing, but he could sing all the voices. He jumped to bass, ten and superano. I've got two brothers as we're seeing tenor and bass, and all my sisters. So it's it's kind of a generational things. So from a very young age, when

young it's like we've been singing, we carry on singing. Okay, wonderful. Um. I'm glad that you guys are here, because Patricia's got this thing that Zambians have the best singers, and I just feel that you Kenyan ladies and the little zimbabwe lady on the side has made a sound that is so special, and I just want to say to Patricia Nana Nana, I would also say that Malawi to have good singers as well. Very good, yeah, very good. When we all get to amen, amen, amen,

um listen. Lastly, um, the baby here, well you're not even a baby no more. But because I'm old, I can say that good good when you get to my age as when you're really an adult. But listen, man, um. You know, singing with did you feel pressure? Sing with mom and big sister, do you feel pressure? Yeah?

It's nice, it's nice. Yeah, But what about when they sing their old kind of music and you want to sing something young, I just keep quiet, you keep quiet, don't comment, you know, okay, okay, and then you get through the song and then you go put your AirPods in a yeah, yeah, yeah, I got you, I got you, I got you, because you know, not to say they look older than you. But you know, I understand the young people not wanting

to sing certain songs. So what would you sing? Then? Hey, you can't ask her that she may come out with drill or something like that. She might have a Balta clausa in her bag, you know, a balaclava. But I'm sure she likes the youthful gospel sounds. Amen, But I know it sister does too. So yeah, an artist, what gospel? Yeah, you have to ask the question whether it's gospel where you you know she wasn't talking yet. Yeah, oh yeah, that's that's good.

Mush, that's good. That's good. I want to ask your sister. But that's good. That's good. Anyway, guys, give my hand please, thank you so much. Um hayes man arka um, absolutely amazing, man, absolutely amazing. So your group will sing, but we need we need Tara to sing before she leaves. I want to tell a little bit

about Tara Um for those that don't know, she sang this morning. UM. And I always say this that um Tya is from Birmingham, Alabama, And if you know anything about the South, you know that she can sing because when they can sing and ventin. I was down there for seventy years and I'm telling you, man, every church who went to Pedro, they can proper sing. But you know it's hard for Tara because over there the

church helps you along. As you see over here, they sit like popsicles just watching you, waiting for you to make a mistake and then they come in. UM. But also Tara Um was one of the finalists for Songs of Praise. UM. Yeah, if you if you google it, you'll you'll see her there. She was one of the finalists. He was her and three other people. UM. What a competition. It was first one, the first one, Yeah, the very first one. They've had another

second year. And for those that don't know what that is, it's like a gospel kind of UM singing competition like Britain's Got Talent, American ilogs factor on it. But it's the gospel one and um. And it was great because um, they didn't have to hide their faith. Um. Tara was wasn't well in the final, but she was still able to represent well. UM and I I just believe she was well in the final. You'll be holding up the trophy today, trust me. M Pedro and the family,

we saw them. They had a whole thing about the family on the TV and it was nice to see it. I mean, it was just great to see people that we know and they're singing in a gospel competition, not trying to sell this so well, come on say it man, singing for the gospel. And So Tara, we're grateful for what you do for God. And I know God is grateful for what He's prompted inside of you. And I I just asked you to come and bless us one more time.

Amen. This is Colchester, guys, and we're having a good time. After this, we're going to that Patricia and a group do whatever they're gonna do, Amen, and then we'll we'll wrap up. So I was listening to everyone's seeing different hymns and one that came across that I love. It's passed me not at so Savia my mom. I hear I used to hear her thing next when she played the organ, and it's just hearing her.

It's just she's singing stimonies to her songs. And every time I live, every time I sing it, I think of her, and I hope to be blessed by it. Pass me not oh git to say? Have you he my hum? Bo? Cry? Whoy? Don't know now? Oh col dude, not pass me by? I'm crying, Say you see mine home by wild? Don't style? Oh call finely no master, do not pin me bye? Let we get the throne? Dumber brcy, oh lord fine sweet redly needly damn in deep country shine my own believe. I'm crying.

Say can't you pick up a lib? Same by? Oh bride? Whoa why no? Not a pas me bye? Whoa? I'm crying same sad, Oh I don't my hum cry? Who too? My past? Fi? Do not pass me by? Oh do you not my past? My past? I sor don't go back to your seat, or you can go. You can use the microphone. We're on radio. Amen, you don't have to see it, but listen, man, I want to ask a question, and we're gonna ban pedro from asking any questions because you're all

related. But but I want to ask this question, as you know, the journey that you had on Songs of Praise, you know, none of us have been in that kind of environment, but I don't think, so tell us what that's like, you know, the whole competition thing, and when it's not really a competition, I'm sure tell us what the journey was

like. I was around a lot of humble people that I was in a competition competition with, and behind the scenes it was stressful, you know, just check getting a nerve together, you know, singing in front of a TV audience, and it was just a lot to take on. But at the end of the day, I was happy for the opportunity that God had given me because I had been here for a short time and no one really

knew me as a you know, singer or gospel artists or whatever. So it gave me an opportunities to get seen um in the UK and to meet some wonderful people. Behind the scenes, I was working with Ken Burton and some other um you know people, the executives that was there, and I was just so happy to be among humble people. I mean, it wasn't like we was fighting against who sing the best, because I wasn't there for them, because my main purpose was to share the word of God with people

in in you know, in a nationwide way. And I was just happy that I was able to just meet and just be in that type of environment. Wonderful, wonderful. Um, My question would be did you get support from church folk? I did, and it was just it was just wonderful that I was able to, you know, get filmed at my church I go to at fartime. It's not far time anymore, is it. It's that Bradley church. Yeah. So at the time I was at, um

what time it is for a time, But now SD Bradley. So they opened you know, the people up with open arms to come and do you know, you know me singing and everything, and it was just they was just so helpful and they was willing to open up the church doors for me to have that time. Yeah, because I think sometimes we put ministry in a box, yeah, and we feel there's only some certain way to do

it, in a certain place to do it, etc. Yeah. So I just wanted to understand whether you got the support of the chat because that was a powerful ministry exposing gospel and God to the world in that sense, And did you feel like you could have did you feel like you had to you might have wanted if you signed secular music? Did you think that play the factor? Or The funny thing is when I passed me not what's one

of my first songs? I'm saying, And behind the scenes, I saw the judges because it was prerecorded show, so the judges were sitting there and they were standing up. One lady threw a book on the floor and it was just it was just one of experience and they loved the way I sound and everything, and then you know, I was like, okay, I

made it through the first round. And then I had some other people singing, and she did sing like a facular song I can remember by Um, what was it, Petro, don't ask me, I forgot no. Yeah, we're like, oh no, no, it's a different one. No. I was just learning Richie. She had did a learning Richie song.

Yeah, and um, I think and me and the other people, the other contestants, they did some gospel songs as well, so I thought they was looking for gospel because my second song was his Eyes on the Sparrow and which one of my favorite songs I love. So I wasn't sure what they was looking for. But with the judges that we had, because we had Grant and and I think their name was Alexandra. Alexandra, yeah, young girl. She was on the X Fact. Yeah, she's on the X

Factor. Yeah, just sing with m yes. Oh yeah, yeah, So you know I met her and everything. You know she was, she was okay, you know, I would have been nice. I'm just being for real. I'm gonna always be honest. I felt like she could have been a little bit more nice. But the other judges was real. Heather, Heather, what's her name, night, Heather Night, she was. She came to me and yeah, she came to me behind the scenes and she said, girl, I know, I know you're singing. But the

other judges was R and B judges. Yea, you know, so you know, everybody tastes different, so you know, which was fine with me. I just did what I had to do. I sang my part and I wasn't mad about it. I was happy that the other girl won because she hadn't been singing for a long time. She was she was older than me, so you know she had did her song or whatever, and I

was happy for her. I mean because at the end of the day, Um, I got what God wanted me to do to wanted me to spread the word and that Amen, come on quick, your hands together again the chart. Amen. As we come to the end of our Talking Point program on a Ventist Radio London, and I'm going to ask Petric to get her group together. And while she's doing that, Pedro and Zenia, how's it

been how you guys find a day? Oh it's been amazing. But the standard here has been set ye hey hey, um and I have truly been blessed. And I think for me, what the core that has struck me throughout this program is God's love. It's God's love every song, every every artist. We that's what's resonating in them and what's what they're sharing with others is the power and the goodness of God. It could the same thing.

UM. I love music, So music is a UM it's always like we say, it just cleans your soul, helps you feel better, um, just gets you through the rough times. So I definitely have enjoyed myself is a different aspect of doing Walking Point. So I'm glad we did a music show. So just to show a little difference, I've always you know, always have to talk and talk and talk sometimes, you know, music talks for herself. So yeah, like I'm just echonomism. You just said pretty

much. Amen preciate. Okay, So yeah, we're gonna sing this song. Um, they're gonna introview usself to the song John Song. I could not be John Song, this city, John calm and mean some go the throne, tell me all bye, go around. The throne is the grist of See they've got to be there, my baby. I want to go to the ce song New Jers. I want to want, Yes, shoes that I go. I want to run where. I want to break on the backs of your army. See Johnson the lion laid down by the love.

I want to know everything about God Johnson in the day. My pace is not sign. My love gone well in space and he's all the saint worship the Great. I am. I holdie where I want to though to be so you can I like to yes, reason I go. I want to run, Yes, I want to all You're back to all the sea guys se be that I want. Sometimes I want to just recide. I want to run. I want to gust thanks of your be see am absolutely amazing. Don't go nowhere, stay right there, Stay right there, because

we talked to everybody else. We got to talk to you. You are a resident, residents of this church. You live here. Um, this is where you worship. And I want to say this, man, what a great song to end the day? Um, great song to the end of the day. First of all, whose choice was it? Don't say, Patricia, Oh no, there's a story behind it. Okay, let's say the story before COVID. I think it's before COVID, isn't it before COVID. We'd been practicing this song, me and myself and Shamila and Shamiso

and I think by the hotelor was here at the time. We've been practicing and trying to get this song to sing in church at some point, and it was one of the songs that we were meant to be singing with shamisso today, so that it's a tribute to her. We finally got to sing it in church after so many years of trying to sing it in church. So I think it was befitting. Um. We look forward to sing shami in in in the regions. I don't want to cry, I don't want

to correct, but we look forward to sing her again. Wish she was here to sing with us, but God had his way. So we just want to say thank you. Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen. Well I'm glad after three years of practice you said before COVID, right, we didn't practice the whole three years we signed before you mean COVID interrupted. Yes, yeah, we know, we know you went to Zambia for a year

when most of us are working our off here. Yes, that was very clear, and we saw all those posts that you were posting to annoy us. So let me talk to the I want to talk to the to the piano man over now, this was the base group over here? Did I get that right? Yeah? Let me say this. And these guys who these are these are tenants? Yea, these are low tenants base Yeah, I think that. Can you start interrupt me? I'm talking to the bass guy Zenia, you know, Zenia and and Giany's not here. But both

of those need a lot of prayer because you know, poor Pedro. But listen, man, I don't want to be quiet man. The eighteen years, you know, want to be quiet. I don't man, but listen um real quick. Um. You know one of the things that sing in these kinds of songs sometimes you know, for us the bass isn't low enough because they kind of sing it a little bit higher. Um, how are you guys? Because I listened to you guys and it came over massive. How you guys? I mean getting him to Mike? Tell me how you

how you doing the bass man? Talk to me? One of you were lower than the other, but he was powerful. Um. So the question is you took it lower than the regular song. That's what it sounded like. Why. Um? Well, for me, I grew up in a musical family. Yes, um, but when I went off to secondary school. So when I was ten, my parents sent me off to boarding school. Okay, that tells you how troublesome I was at home. Yeah, no, no, no, no, that was the normal thing. But

yeah I was cool. Um. I grew up around the single group called a cappella. Yes, yes, and so the first time I heard him, I was kind of fascinated because the base wasn't the usual I was used to growing up in church. So I'll be alone and I'll just put my headphones on and just hume along, and with time it kind of became my my thing thing. So I just kind of just picked it up as I as I went along. And where did you get your base from? Maybe

here? Well, I was actually complimenting what you know, he's singing on the base. Now, I was just being to make it right. Okay, you know I rebuked that whole thing. You yeah, okay, no, no, no, but listen, man, God bless you both. And I want to ask the ten as a question. My son sings a very high tenna. He's to sing in a group in America. They called himself the buckets. I said, why you called yourself the buckets? Because

they were at school just like you guys. And he says, because they want to be filled with the Holy Spirit anyway, but he sang, he's sang tennor um. Now, where are you from? Ghana? You're from from Hungry, Hungry, You're from Okay, three different places, but you complimented each other so well. The man with the mic, because he got sermon on his chest and I'm gonna pick on him. And it wasn't difficult to blend with these guys being from different places. I don't think so you

don't think so. No, man, when you're sing in a group, it doesn't matter where you are from. It's just can you voices crossing each other, and it creates a nice harmony. Good. Good. That's what I feel like when I was saying with these guys when we first come to Courtius, the church, this was the first church which sung with power? Oh really? Yes? Yeah, because you had to cover Patricia. Yes, ladies and gent thank you very much for blessing us today. Thank you.

We're going to wrap up here on stage. You can take your seat. You're gonna wrap up here on stage. Um. Well, guys, wow, Pedro, Wow, say something now, give me a closing comment. What did you enjoy about today? Take away? Ladies? Okay, he said he learned how to be quiet. Man, so he said, ladies. First, all I can say is I am looking forward to heaven, Amen, I really am. What a wonderful experience it will be when we're all sing and shout and when we'll see Jesus face to face. This

is just a taste. Yeah, this is just a taste. Let us be faithful. Amen. Amen, Amen, Pedro, what do you go I've just been thinking about just hearing all the different musics and the different reasons why they singing, why they sang and the last what, um, what she just said, you know, for the lady that passed away. So that just kind of just threw me for a little loop there. So I just I honestly just kind of went blank. Yeah, no problem, man,

we got that. We got that. Um. Let me just say as we close today, UM, I've really enjoyed the day from the moment I stepped in the door until the end and enjoyed it. It was good. Even though Patricia was long this morning. Gave me a short time to preach. I'm saying it on radio, um, which means I have to not come back. Amen. No, Patricia, Patricia, thank you, but the Adventage Radio than we are happy that you allowed us to be a part of the program today. It is it is your station, amen,

it is. It is a community station. And we praise God for those that have contributed already and those that will contribute to keeping us on air. The Lord is blessing via the radio. We've had more baptisms last year than we've ever had on the radio. Come on, say amen, We've had two baptismal services that we've had and one of those, the first one was give a part of it. Come on with Kayla. Give her hand,

everyone, give her hand. She's part of our family. Whenever she's in Watford, we bring her on the radio and she talks about her experience with the Lord and to Kayla, God bless you. And I want to say thank you to Patricia. As hard as it is, because there is a lot of people who listen to Adventist Radio London now because of Patricia. Yeah,

you know, she got folk on the prayer line listening. I think the folking cultures which she probably had a gun to their head because yeah, yeah, one lady told me today she said, you're gonna say it. Okay, good But nevertheless, thank you Patricia for being an excellent supporter. We wanted to give you an award but Paul couldn't get enough money up to get it down. Well that's Adventures Radio London. Thanks again, Amen, Father, this has been a great day. We've really enjoyed ourselves in the

Lord. We've sung, we've prayed, we've preached, we've eaten together. And now Lord, as we leave this place, please maybe never leave your presence. Take us through this untried weak. Lord, please go ahead of us. And there's somebody in this building, Lord that is facing a tough week ahead. And I pray Lord that you will go and mend every situation, beat back the forces of evil, and allow christ to be uplifted in

their lives. Give us testimonies beyond testimonies and testimonies, and then, Lord, because of Sham, so we are reflecting on how serious life is. And maybe you allowed this to happen because you wanted us to take life serious. And so may we all make our calling an election short tonight because we don't know when our eyes were closed.
