On May 16, 1970 the Northwest Louisiana Crime Lab was established to provide services to law enforcement to nine parishes in NW Louisiana.
55 years later, the lab has been tasked with helping to solve thousands of cases from law enforcement officials in 29 parishes.
Michelle Jackson, and Amy Patton with the NWLA Crime Lab discuss the day to day operations, the new technology that's helping to provide clues in less than 90 minutes and the greatest need in helping to solve cases.
