Episode description

A Happy new Year to all our listeners and it has been a good start to 2020 for Plymouth Argyle as well following the 3-1 win at Scunthorpe United, which ended a pretty productive festive period. After the disappointment of the postponed game at Macclesfield, Argyle went on to beat Cheltenham Town on Boxing Day and then Stevenage thanks to a stoppage time goal from Niall Canavan, A 2-1 defeat in front of the newly-opened Mayflower Stand kicked off the New Year, but normal service was resumed when Ryan Lowe's men won at Scunthorpe with two goals from Luke Jephcott, who had returned from a loan spell at Truro City. We look back on that festive period and ahead to January when the transfer window opens and Argyle have already concluded one piece of business with Tyreeq Bakinson arriving on loan from Bristol City.
