Welcome to IU Quizzing me. I am Ayita Kashyap, and before anything else, since this is a trivia podcast, here's my audience question. The American rock band the Eagles broke up in 1980. They got back together after 14 years with their second live album. The question is, what was the name of this album released in 1994? Keep listening to the end of this very short podcast episode to know the answer. Speaking of, this isn't going to be a regular episode.
In fact, I only have to accomplish two things today. Firstly, both me and my Co host Vineet Nair want to express our deepest gratitude for allowing us to bring you trivia for 100 episodes. It has been unbelievable and a special shout out to our regular listeners. Thank you so much for sticking with us. Second thing, we want to assure you we will be back very soon. This has been an unplanned break for various personal reasons, but we can't wait to get started on our next 100 episodes.
So thank you for your patience and watch out for 101st episode in a couple of weeks. And since you are listening to IE Whizzing me and I did ask an audience question, here's the trivia of the day for you. The question was the American rock band The Eagles broke up in 1980. They got back together after 14 years with their second live album. What was the name of this album released in 1994? The answer is Hell Freezes Over. The album name was in reference to a quote by Don Henley, the
drummer and Co lead vocalist. After the band's breakup in 1980, Henley was asked in an interview about when the band would play together again, to which he responded when Hell Freezes Over and they stuck to their word. Thankfully we will not make you wait 14 years so IU quizzing me will be back when the summer is at its peak, which to be fair, does feel like hell sometimes. So thank you so much for tuning in and see you guys very soon in a few weeks.
