Rob Hardy - Asst. Coach, Rice University

Rob Hardy was named Rice Baseball's Director of Player Development in December of 2021 and then joined Jose Cruz Jr.'s staff in 2022 as an assistant coach.  Hardy came to Rice from Siena College in Albany, New York where he served as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator since 2020. Siena's pitching staff was a key factor in the Saints reaching the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament for the first time since 2017. He led a data-driven approach to develop the pitching staff which included tools such as Rapsodo, Trackman and Synergy.
