Episode description

This is our first episode from our series, "The Yage Tapes", in which we will be in conversation with various individuals who have participated in Ayahuasca ceremonies with shamans in various parts of South America.

Emma Lucy Shaw is a Scottish/English visionary artist who lost both her parents at an early age and ended up homeless not long after. She stayed with friends, moving from place to place and eventually set off to travel throughout Scandinavia, finding work and shelter when she was able. Her life took a dramatic turn after she journeyed to Peru to participate in ayahuasca ceremonies with shamans in the Amazon. She is now back in the UK where she has found a new and fulfilling life for herself and spends much of her time creating her art.
