Episode description

Jake Ducey left home as a teenager one day, also leaving behind a life of alcohol and drug abuse, to explore the world with a meager savings and adventurous spirit.

His journey ended up transforming his life for good when he arrived at a deep knowing that what he was searching for was within himself all the time. He discovered that our destiny is reached only when we have looked deeply inside first.

Upon returning from his spiritual adventure, Jake raised the funds to build a school and home in San Marcos, near Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, to support orphans who are taken care of by a Quiché Maya Shaman.  Now 21, Jake is the author of  Into the Wind (Waterside, April 2013) and he speaks throughout the country on consciously and responsibly creating our lives.
