Episode description

This week we're sticking with true crime. First I bring you the horrible and sad story of Junko Furuta, also known as "concrete-encased high school girl murder case". This was a rough one to cover especially near the end and the aftermath, at the end there's a letter written by a friend and I had a hard time holding it together when reading and writing this. After that case we come to Mutsuo Toi, the Tsuyama Massacre. This is one of the deadliest shootings in Japan's history, one man, on a spree killing, motivated by revenge. And the revenge stems from a tradition called Yobai. You'll learn more about the tradition and how it motivated his actions in the story. And on a sidenote you get to hear me getting hit by the train known as Covid, no symptoms and halfway through the recording BOOM.
