The Curse of the Bell Witch and Tutankhamuns Curse

This week we decided to talk about curses. I focus on The Curse of the Bell Witch, the story of a man who supposedly screwed someone over in a deal and felt her wrath. Nate discusses Tutankhamuns Curse, an Egyptian Pharaoh whose tomb was said to be cursed by any who entered it, and the results thereof. We hope you enjoy the episode.

The Fouke

Today we introduce Arkansas' Bigfoot. The Fouke, he's similar to the Florida skunk ape due to the smell but the poor fella only has three toes. We are unsure as to what may have happened to the rest of his toes, but the rest assured! we will not figure it out in this episode! He's been around for quite a while but most of the sightings come from the '70s. But! he has been the star of many movies!

Evil Children Part 2 - Brenda Ann Spencer and The Slender Man Stabbing

Today we have two stories for you, this is the second part of the Evil Children episodes, the first wasn't labeled as such but was episode 54 "The Murder of Shanda Renée Sharer". In this evil children episode, Nate brings the story of Brenda Ann Spencer, a 16-year-old involved in a school shooting in 1979. I bring to the table The Slender Man Stabbing, which I'm sure most people know about from it being relatively recent as well as a documentary on HBO explaining it.

The Yeti!

Nate brings us the origins and stories of the Yeti! A supposedly nice travel mug! no, obviously the giant abominable snowman of a creature! There's not too much to add as an explanation today, we all at least know of what a Yeti is, right?

The Murder of Shanda Renée Sharer

Trigger Warning, this case involves a child In January of 1992 one of the most horrific murders I have read about to date was committed to a young girl who was only 12. The perpetrators of this crime were all kids as well, four of them ages 15-17. This murder was brutal, horrific and the catalyst to it is pathetic, something so ridiculous took this girl away at such a young age. Please go into this knowing that it is at times rough to listen to.

Buryatia Dyatlov Pass

Hello hello hello! I'm a day late getting this up. This week's episode covers Buryatia Dyatlov Pass. now I'm sure you know of Dyatlov but this is a different incident that occurred 20 years after in around the same region, it's just as weird and odd. one major difference is there is one survivor to what happened. The was also a third incident, again in the same regional area which I mention a little about after the main story.

Sirens and Mermaids and a Nice comment, Oh My!

Hello and welcome back! first thing, we got new mics, and I'm not too sure about them, I was either really out of it or the mic muffles me lol. But in this week's episode, we partly talk about Sirens due to going way way off track more than usual, but we get there... well, Nate does! We also bring up what they believe killed the family in the Sierra Nevada case though we disagree.

Missing Persons Special

This episode is a lot different than the others. Nate is out of town and I'm not feeling well so I thought it could be a good idea to pull up a list of missing persons and read each one. I initially had 50 missing person cases but one didn't load. Part of the reason I did this is due to the "missing white woman syndrome" which I'm sure you've heard about. I went online and found a list of recent missing person cases from across the country and took them all, in chronological order from most rece...

The Mary Celeste

Here there be monsters! well, yes and no, on the podcast yes, in this story, no. But here there definitely be an abandoned ship and a missing crew. so today we talk about the abandoned ship, The Mary Celeste, and the incidents that are believed to have led to the ship being abandoned. Even with the research done into why the ship had been left adrift, there isn't much about the crew. Where did they go to? Or what happened to them?

Alex Murdaugh a Strange Web

In this week's episode, we discuss the strange web of Alex Murdaugh. This is an odd story and with so much going on right now in true crime-related news this one may have been a little overshadowed but it's pretty crazy. In this case, we have, hate crime leading to murder, intoxication leading to death, two more murders, a hired hitman who fails or intentionally fails, drug addiction, and embezzlement. That about covers most of the bad shit you can do.

Corpsewood Manor

In today's thrilling installment we talk about the murders at Corpsewood Manor. Its an interesting but kinda open and closed case. One of the victims has an interesting story though, LSD experiments funded by the government, kinda weird. As always we hope you enjoy.

Twisted Fairytales #1

Today we talk about the dark origins of two fairytales, The Little Mermaid and Cinderella. Most of these tales come from older times, they were dark and twisted, the tales had been collected by the Grimm brothers in a book and eventually many of them were softened up and made for children, but we don't care about those, we want the dark gritty one for this little series!

The Sierra Nevada Case

Hello and welcome back to a normal recording day. Today, as the title suggests, we are talking about the Sierra Nevada Case. Normally we do cold cases or odd bizarre cases amongst other weird things. But due to this being strange and so recent, currently a couple of weeks old and still active, we thought we should talk about this. There's currently not too much information to go on until the toxicology reports are released and hopefully shed some light on this tragedy. When they have released ei...

Ghost Hunt

Hello everyone, this episode is going to be a little different, and the sound quality will be a bit off. We got word of a building that had some unusual activity, orbs, objects being thrown and we were allowed access to record last night, so instead of our usual setup were using a micro recorder so that's why the quality will be lower than usual. We investigated the building with 2 other people, Nate's brother and friend so you'll hear unfamiliar voices as well. We used 2 emf meters (K2, Ghost m...

Jenny Low Chang and Tristan Brübach

We are back! After a month, though 2 of those weeks we had saved episodes for you, but sadly two silent weeks. We discuss a lot of things before the cases on this episode but when we do get to them we are focusing on two lesser-known unsolved murders. You may not have heard of these but as with all these cases it's always sad and we all hope one day there will be closure though the first case sadly that may never happen.

Minisode #2: Issei Sagawa

Minisode #1: Roopkund Lake

Hello and welcome to our first mini-episode, we have been recording mini-episodes for days when something arises and we cant record. In the first mini-episode I talk about Roopkund Lake, there is a lake in the mountains of India filled with bones! They estimate there are between 600-800 remains in this lake and as the snow melts the bones become exposed in and around the lake. The strange thing is that through testing they have learned these bones have all come here at different times and from d...

Stupid Criminals

We decided to take a little break from the darker crimes. So for this week's episode, we talk about 4 different stories of stupid criminals. Either just very very awful criminals or dumb crimes. We also get to listen to some strange and creepy voicemails a friend has been receiving over the past few months. And finally, Nate wraps up the more humorous episode with some Florida Man headlines.

Disappearance of Tara Calico

In 1988 a 19-year-old Tara Calico went missing in New Mexico. Shortly after strange polaroids began to show up. The first depicting a girl who resembled Tara and another boy bound and gagged in the back of a van. There were little to no leads aside from a van description and a vague description of the driver. Years later all the way up into the 2000's more photos began being mailed into local authorities in Florida where the original polaroid was found. To this day the case remains unsolved....

To this day this case remains unsolved though ongoing. Some members of law enforcement continued to pursue this case until the d...

SS Ourang Medan

In today's episode we talk about the Ourang Medan. A ship that sent out a disturbing distress call via morse code. A ship afloat full of bodies, with the look of terror and screaming upon all their faces. Some say the story is true while others say it isn't, but there's a bit of evidence lending credibility to both sides of the story which make it more intriguing. The fate of the ship and crew was never determined, due to the ship exploding and sinking. There are two prevalent theories and of co...

The Monster with the 21 Faces

The Monster with the 21 Faces, also known as The Glico Morinaga case is a strange and odd case of kidnapping, death and extortion, and also candy that takes place in Japan from 1984-85. I found this case to be really weird and interesting, and of course unsolved, who was the Fox Eyed Man? we hope you enjoy as always.

Conspiracy Theories #1

Hello, in today's episode we are talking about some conspiracy theories, the episode is number just in case we do more in the future, it's not a multi-part episode. I talk about two rather silly theories and Nate brings an actual plausible one to the table. The first one I discuss is the theory that Lewis Carroll is Jacke the Ripper, following that Nate explains why the Titanic did not in fact sink, and I round it off with remote-controlled sharks. As always we hope you enjoy the listen. The fre...
