Episode description

Would love to hear your thoughts on the podcast, send us a message!

We did this lesson at like 11:30pm after all the kids finally went to sleep so apologies if it sounds like we’re going to sleep ourselves! In today's lesson Anisa will be taking you through the demonstrative pronouns or asmaa2 ul-isharah (أسماء الإشارة). You'll learn how to say 'This is a...' to masculine and feminine objects. We’ll also walk you through asking 'What is this?' ma hadha? ما هذا؟ (m) or ما هذه؟ (f) and the term 'that' dhalika / ذلك for (m) and tilka / تلك for (f).
