Episode description

I discuss the experience, impact and implications of the record breaking post-tropical storm "Fiona" which struck the Canadian Maritime provinces over the weekend.

As well, I speak about my perspective on current political and social polarization and whether it is ethically justifiable to maintain a bias about this situation, or not.

Finally I discuss our dependence on social media platforms and whether we should be taking them for granted, or not.

CORRECTION: At the 6:31 minute mark I state “... the coastal waters… have been as high as six to 8, or even 10° Celsius warmer than normal… “. I should have said “FAHRENHEIT” there, not Celsius. Apologies, I was using both systems a lot in this episode and misspoke there. That is still an alarmingly significant increase however!  This correction was posted on Sept 26, 2022 @ 8:21pm EDT.
