In this episode, host Aaron Apollo Camp interviews JD Barker.

JD is the author of numerous novels, including the novels of the 4MK Thrillers series, as well as Forsaken, the first novel in a planned series titled The Shadow Cove Saga, and the standalone novels Behind a Closed Door, A Caller’s Game, She Has a Broken Thing Where Her Heart Should Be, and Something I Keep Upstairs. Something I Keep Upstairs was published on May 13, 2025, after the interview was recorded but before the uploading of this episode.

JD has also co-written novels with James Patterson, E.J. Findorff, Dacre Stoker, Christine Daigle, and Richard Bailey. A novel co-written by JD and Kyle Dunn, The Finer Things, is slated to be released on July 8, 2025.

JD’s novels have been broadly described as suspense thrillers, many of which incorporate elements of horror, crime, mystery, science fiction, and/or the supernatural.
