Apex Takeover: Willy T Ribbs

On this special edition of the Apex Takeover hear from the legend himself Willy T Ribbs. Mr.Ribbs has an ample amount of accomplishments in the motorsports world and was kind enough to answer questions to fans on Clubhouse. 

Born as William Theodore Ribbs Jr. in San Jose, California he eventually became quite the name in the motorsports world. As a driver he's been able to race in NASCAR, IndyCar, IMSA and Trans-Am all beginning in 1975. He found the most success in the Trans-Am series where he was able to win 17 races while racing for racing icons Jack Roush and Dan Gurney. Upon that he is well known for being the first African-American to make the Indianapolis 500 in 1991. Most recently he has competed in the Superstar Racing Experience during it's inaugural season.
