Andrew F. Kooy is a full-time dad, a part-time instructor at Dillard University, a rookie in New Orleans' premiere all-male dance Krewe, and a member of the Peauxdunque Writers' Alliance. He received his MFA from the Creative Writing Workshop at the University of New Orleans. His work can be found in The Stockholm Review of Literature, Barely South Review, and is forthcoming from Bird's Thumb.
