a honeymoon. And they said they want to go, they're doing a cruise. And then they're getting off the cruise and then going to Universal for two days. Yep. Your sister's been, how many times? Once? No. She's been a few times. She hasn't been that... But it's always been for Rock the Universe. Yes. So she hasn't really experienced Universal. And the last time she went I think was before Velocicoaster was built. And then her now fiancee, future
husband... Has not gone at all. Has not gone at all but he is a ginormous Jurassic Park fan. Anyways, we are dedicating this episode to your sister. So we are planning your day. Yep. So Melody made you a plan and I made you a plan. Choose whichever makes you best. And then for our actual listeners, you can kind of use this plan for yourselves if you ever want to. So we are assuming that the cruise will start departing its people at 8 a.m. Because that's when I think most cruises do it. Yes. But I'm also putting in... What's the word? I'm also... Giving them leeway. We go to room. I also gave them... Of getting off the boat, getting to Orlando because we know the port that they're probably going
to. Yes. So I'm going to guess that they're probably going to get to Orlando around 11 ish. They're going to Port Canaveral. That's not a mystery. Well, yes. Hopefully. Amy, go to Port Canaveral. You'll make our lives a lot easier. Don't do it for yourself. Do it for me. Oh my word. Sorry. Do it for Melody. Do it for the cat. I'm so sorry, Amy. And Tony. Oh yeah, Tony might listen to this. You're welcome. Okay, so they're going to Orlando to 11. Lunch. You need lunch. That's how I'm starting this. Oh, you're starting at 11? Yeah. Okay. Lunch. Okay. Why? When are you starting? 9 or 10 a.m. Oh no. How long did it take to get from Port Canaveral to Universal? It takes like an hour to get off the boat itself. So? And then you have to get to your car. They don't have a car. They're probably going to Uber. They're driving
there. Oh, that's right. I didn't know they were driving. Cheaper to them. Anyway, I don't know if it's actually cheaper or not. They'll be driving to Orlando. Yes. Arrive to Port Canaveral. Around. No, Orlando to 11. Sure. Lunch. What I would suggest is go to McDonald's. Oh, you're. Okay. One, it's not expensive. Two, Tony probably hasn't been there. Three, I don't remember. I don't know if Amy remembers going there. Uh huh. And it's an interesting
experience. Amy, I will send you the address so that you don't go to the wrong McDonald's. You should send her. This one is special. It has pizza and pasta. You should send her the address like right after we finish recording this tonight. And she's going to be super confused. And you just don't say anything. Just don't answer any of her questions. And then once she hears this, she'll understand. For what? A whole week? Yes. Because this
will come out on time. I did good. You also made one of our listeners very mad. What did I do now? John. Uh, McDonald's. Yes. It's saving money. And it's a tradition. Because I went to that McDonald's with my family to begin with. Okay. And then I introduced Nick to it. And now it's a thing. It is. You gotta experience it at least once. And like I said, Tony hasn't. So there. I guess you do need to make pasta every now and then. Anyway.
So you get lunch. Did you have a lunch planned? You do your Friday and then you'll understand why I'm going later. Okay. Okay. And then after that you go to your hotel. And the hotels that we recommend. Portofino. Because it's pretty. Yes. Aventura. Because it's nice. Yes. And kinda Sapphire Falls. I like Sapp- I haven't been there yet. Yes. I'm only saying cause it's cheaper than Portofino but it's still connected to the water taxi. You wouldn't
understand but I heard it smells good. Okay. Got it. That's never gonna win me over. No. But it's kinda water taxi. Yes. And that's a nice relaxing way to get to the parking back. And shorter security lines. Now okay. If you do decide to stay at Aventura you can walk across the street to Sapphire Falls. Cause it's literally you walk outside like the main doors of Aventura. You go to a little bus stop. If you just look across the street.
It's not even a street. It's a roundabout. It's in the- like you turn into Aventura. If you were staying at Sapphire Falls you turn into the same area. So you can look- you can stay at Aventura, look across the way and see Sapphire Falls. And then just use their water taxi. Anyway so you can stay at Aventura, go to the bus stop and you can look across the street and it's like a hundred steps over to Sapphire Falls. You go in their
lobby. I think you take a spiral staircase down and then you walk over to the water taxi where you can promptly just walk onto their water taxi. Cause as long as you're at one of the Universal hotels you can use the water taxis right? False. No? Anyone can use water taxis. Oh. Even non-resort guests. Matter of fact, Universal actually encourages it.
Okay. As long as the hotels aren't busy. So if you try and do that on like a Halloween Horror Nights night and their water taxis are jam packed sometimes they'll start checking room cards. Ah. And they won't let you on if you don't have a room card. Okay. Or like that Aventura Sapphire Falls water taxi trick. That won't work at like really packed times. She theoretically should be fine then. Yeah. So she's going in a will be packed? Probably.
Will it be so packed that she can't get on the water taxi? More than likely not. Anyway. Use water taxis. And preferably one of those three hotels. Part of you know Aventura Sapphire Falls. And it'll come in handy later with my plane. Okay. So you checked in. Can you drop off your luggage? Yep. Okay. Do that so that you can then go to the park. Okay. What I suggest go to Islands. Okay. So they're going to go to Islands. Weird move but okay. Not
for them. And what I would suggest is go straight to the Jurassic Park area. Because like you said. Okay. He's a big fan and that's kind of why they chose it. Okay. So go there. Check out the Discovery Center. Check. Decidentally do the Raptor encounter. Which is something we still have yet to do. We're waiting to take our two small children to do it. And ride Velocicoaster. Here's a tip. Put your hands up on the ride. It'd be great. Here's
a second tip. Wait the extra ten minutes for the front row because there's a special lane for it. So when you get to the front and they ask you how many. Just say can we wait for the front row? And they'll just direct you over to the side. Yes. As long as it's not like super packed. Jam packed. Even if it's jam packed I would still ask. Because the front row is all the difference. So get in that front row. Especially for the first.
Or if you want to feel like you're being whipped around. Go in the back row. Just wait extra for the front row. Do that. I use my express pass and then I'll get on the ride in like ten minutes. And I'll still wait that extra ten minutes to go in the front row. It's worth it. Trust us. I've even been in the front row all by myself. In a cart all by myself.
With the only person being me in the cart. Oh. I told you about this. We went for like early park or something and I ran right over to Velocicoaster and nobody was on the ride. It was just me walking through the queue and then I got up and they're like how many? And I'm like one. And they're like cool. You want the front row? And I'm like yes. I'm like alright go to the front row. So I got in the front row. They boarded me. They closed the
things immediately. I looked around. I'm the only person on the cart. I think I got the right picture. Oh. Anyway. Back to you know their trip. Not yours. There's also the river adventure. Be careful with this ride. Okay. Because you don't want to get super wet. You get uncomfy. So get the middle rows. I think it's the third or fourth or the fourth and the fifth. Specifically ask for the fourth row. Mmhmm. And just say you'll wait. They're
typically not too busy. If the wait is ten minutes or more, skip it and come back. If it's five minutes, get on it and ask for the fourth row. You do not want to be in the first row. You do not want to be in the back row. And you don't want to be on the edges of any row. You want to be smack dab in the middle of that row. Anywhere else. Traveling while wet is not going to be fun unless you bring a change of clothes but then you're carrying
a backpack everywhere and that's super inconvenient. And this is why probably both of our lists say to skip Toon Lagoon. Yes. Do not go to Toon Lagoon. You can go to Toon Lagoon. You just don't ride anything. We talked to her recently in person. Told her to completely ignore Ripsaw. Yes. Not fun. Because she's what just like an inch taller than me. Yes. No. You can look around but that's it. Anyways moving on. Yes. So like I said just take your
time. Look at all the stuff in Jurassic Park and then when the park's about to close because I'm assuming that's going to take a bit because they're also going to look at all the souvenirs and stuff then I don't remember how long before the park closes I would suggest riding Hagrid's. We're not going to know the park hours because a company can just randomly come in and buy out the park and next thing you know the park's closing at like 6 p.m. That's the only downside
is that happens a lot. Oh. So when they're like done with Jurassic Park. Yeah. Then you should go ride Hagrid's as like your last thing of the day. That's why I'm just suggesting that and Hagrid's. Okay. What's next? Well then you go back to your oh dinner. So they're skipping Spider-Man. For that day. Yeah. Do they have park to park tickets then? I'm assuming
so. Okay. Doesn't Islands North typically close after studios? Because the thing is that first day if all you're doing is islands you don't really need that park to park ticket that first day. No but you'll need it the second day. Right. Okay. This is just my idea. No this is your idea. I'm just trying to make it simple you just go to and then you can go on other rides if you want to. I'm saying these are the must haves. Okay. What'd you
do for dinner? I forgot. Oh my. Well then think of something. It's the travel day so I would pick something nice but not McDonald's. No that's lunch. Eat at the park. It's simpler. They can have a pizza for lunch and then they go back and have a McPasta. Oh my word. Italian. If they're an island. You also have city walk. We don't have to eat in the park. I know I'm trying to remember my brain farting pretty bad. Maybe cow fish but I don't know if Tony
likes sushi or even if Amy likes sushi. Doesn't he not like fish? You don't like fish. I thought I heard from like you or Amy or somebody who said he doesn't like fish. Oh. That would be very funny. Yes. But then I saw a picture recently of him eating a crab boil. Not crab boil. You know whenever you go to like that seafood place and they just give you a bag of like corn. I think that's a crab boil. I don't know. I don't eat seafood. They swim
in poop water. Okay. Something cheap. Okay so pick something. Not tots. That's the next day. I also heard that cow fish has really good burgers. Oh then sure. Still cow fish. Okay. Not just seafood. Are they going back to their hotel for an early night? Pretty much. Yes. Okay here's my Friday. Okay. I'm assuming you get to your hotel by nine or ten o'clock. By then you're going to go to studios instead of islands. Oh. You're going
to hop on Jimmy Fallon. Okay. You're going to do Jimmy Fallon. You're going to have a great time quotations. You got to do it at least once. You're going to hop on Mummy because that's a must. Okay Mummy is iconic. It's amazing. Then you're having lunch. And then for lunch you can either choose Minion Cafe or Mel's Drive-In. These are both kind of in the middle of where I want you to go next. I would knowing Amy she might prefer
Minion Cafe because she I think she would also like the Udon Bowl. Then I would probably say Minion Cafe. It also has newer food than Mel's. Technically. No not technically. Mel's is newer. It's refurbished. It's refurbished and the air quotations have a new menu but it's the same to me. And the and I'm pretty sure Amy's been there. Minion Cafe she hasn't been there. Okay. Minion Cafe. You go Minion Cafe. Then you're going to hop on Transformers.
Then you're going to go to Gringotts. You're going to sample various Butterbeers. I think I have enough time for this. Yes. Okay. Okay. Jimmy Fallon you can get on that in like 10 minutes. Mummy if you do it smart it's like 30 minutes 45 minutes at most. By then it's lunch time. You eat lunch for 45 minutes. Transformers I looked it up at the time that I was making this list. That was I think a Friday. And Transformers was only at like
a 10 minute wait. Okay. So and then also depending on what hotel she stays at she might have an express pass. Or even without the hotel she might still do the express pass. Anyways you're going to hop on Gringotts and you can since it'll probably be about a 30 minute wait I'm guessing you can grab a Butterbeer on your way into Gringotts. Frozen. We recommend Frozen but if it is cold it's going to be November so I don't think it's going to be
cold. If you like hot you can try hot. You can try the normal. Or since they are a couple you can also get one of each and share. That is also true. Like when someone gets frozen other person gets hot and you can like swap. Yep. But I recommend Frozen because it's the only way to go. I still not had a hot one. Same. I thought I just tipped over my drink and I was about to cry. Anyways you're going to try Butterbeer. I recommend Frozen. After
the ride you're going to walk around Diagon Alley. I don't know Amy that well so I don't know if she likes Harry Potter that much. Should I ever ask her that question if she likes Harry Potter? She doesn't hate it. Okay if you like Harry Potter walk around. There's a cool little area called Nocturn Alley. It's very cool. If it's hot go in there because it's more than likely colder in there. It's a good rest spot. Very good rest spot. And
not crowded. You can also substitute if one of you doesn't want to get a Butterbeer go into Florian Florescuess? Probably saying that wrong. The ice cream shop and get yourself a Butterbeer ice cream. Which is actually really good. Or what was the one I had? It was like a brownie one. I don't know there's some type of chocolate one that I really liked. I don't remember. Oh it was like it was light brown. It wasn't like chocolate. It was like
a pie I think. I don't know. Find one that you like. It's all good. After you do that you're going to hop on Men in Black. As you're walking to Men in Black you're going to look at the Fear Factor stage in Cry because I would recommend going to go see Fear Factor but you cannot. Have fun trying to destroy each other in points. Do Men in Black. Press
the red button when you need to. You're giving them pointless pointers. Then you're going to hop on the Simpsons ride and then promptly get motion sickness and then regret why I even recommended that you go on this ride. Then you're going to hop on ET for that iconic feel of nostalgia because it is. The smell apparently. Oh yeah. Take a big nice whiff when you walk right into that forest because it smells amazing. It's a calm ride. If Jack
can ride it you can too. That is also true. Then at some point you're going to fit in the horror makeup show and unfortunately the Bourne Stuntacular. The pre-show sucks but the show is actually not bad. Yeah. Then for dinner. If you can only do one show. Horror makeup. Yep. Then for dinner I said to go to Toothsums. I saved that for the next day. Stupid. Well that's the travel day so that's why I waited for the next day. You're going
to wait for Jacques to come over and make fun of you. That's the robot. He's probably going to say your husband lives in a forest because he has a beard. He said that to you because he didn't know where we lived. Whatever. He's very rude. He's very blunt. So Amy you will love him. You're going to get a milkshake on the way out. Or two. You could. There's two people. They could get two. But we tried getting two one time and we could not finish
them. Yeah but if they're at a hotel they can take it back and put it in the fridge. Is Amy like you where she takes her milkshake and then shoves it in the fridge? I don't know. Because keep in mind those fridges don't actually work as a fridge. They're more things to keep things cool. Yeah but if you take it with you you can slowly eat it. You don't have to eat it all one sitting. I guess. Anyways you're going to get a milkshake. I recommend
the brownie one. It's like a chocolate milkshake and then they just shove a brownie on top and it's really good. I just recommend anything with chocolate. There you go. But that's our recommendation. And then you're going to head back to the hotel for bed. So depending on how you do this day this could be a very quick day. I can get a studio is done in like a few hours if I do it correctly. And you can also go to Toothums pretty late. So you can
have a late dinner and not have to. Oh just to make sure secure your spot make sure you get a reservation for Toothums at least a week ahead so you can get the time that you want. It's not like Disney where you have to book six months in advance. Yeah. I'm just telling you to book a week ahead. It's like regular nicer restaurants. Yes. Could you risk it and do a walk up? Yes. You're probably not going to get a seat but you can try. Have
a plan. Have a backup plan if you don't get a reservation. We're giving very rough guidelines but we do suggest at least making a plan before you go. Like get out a map make routes of where you will go. You don't even get fast and furious. No. Oh wait. Yes you skipped it. Nope. We're putting that on. No. No we're putting. No no no. You have to do it. Tony has not been on it. He needs to do it. Fine. Waste your time on that ride. It's between
Transformers and Green Gods right? Yes. There we go. It is on the list. Good job. Do fast and furious because while the ride is terrible it's not going to be around that much longer. Speaking of rides that will not be there for much longer. When you go Amy. Do that too. No it's going to be gone. Oh it will be because it's November. Yep. Ah. So they will get
to see what it looks like when they tear down a ride. Sorry. Well Amy wrote it. It's going to be weird because by the time they go the ride should actually be probably fully dismantled. You won't even see it. Oh I'm going to have to change our logo. We're going to have to change our logo. Or we can keep it for nostalgia. Anyways after dinner you're going to head back to the hotel for hopefully an early bedtime because you have just been traveling all day
and you just did a full park day ish. Anyways so I just go with my Saturday now or do you want to do your Saturday? Do your Saturday. I didn't fully plan Saturday. I just. I didn't just had my plan of continuing from the day before. If you went to Hagrid's then you have more options. You can go to the early park access and do Hagrid's again because that's another chance to go on Hagrid's with a short wait time or you can just kind of take a morning
and relax first for like an extra hour. What are they doing for lunch and dinner? Also we're not really doing breakfast because everyone does something different. Breakfast. If you want breakfast we recommend Voodoo. Has Amy had Voodoo donuts? I don't know but that's what I said. For breakfast there's Cinnabon, there's Voodoo donuts or if you want to travel from park to park there is the Green Eggs and Ham Tots. I think they're open a little
bit in breakfast time. Oh because tots can be like a breakfast thing. Eggs and tots. I think me and Connor had tots in the morning but like close enough to lunch time where we were like this could be a lunch. Or you can just have a brunch. That works too. Or that. Okay so tots or Voodoo or Cinnabon. What are they doing for lunch? I didn't write down lunch. Well think of something. And islands the places I would recommend is Circus McGurkiss.
Okay. Because that's just like cool unusual food that you can get. There's Miso's but that's like a nicer restaurant. Also in islands. I don't even know where we normally get lunch in studios besides Minion Cafe. That's pretty much been our go to. And then there's little stalls like there's the Fire Eaters kebabs or something like that which we have still yet to have. We need to try that. And then the restaurants and the Harry Potter areas.
There's the Three Broomsticks and Hogshead. I wouldn't recommend those though. They're very busy. It's very busy and very hectic. So for like a honeymoon that could be very overwhelming. And one of them also has like English food and I don't know if they would like that or not. Neat. Anyways dinner. Since apparently you didn't plan out there Saturday. Toothums. That was my dinner plan. Cowfish the day before. Toothums that day. So basically
Saturdays do any rides that interest them. Yeah. Okay. And like try to do Hagrid's again. Ride Velocicoaster again if you want. Just go enjoy. Oh definitely do like the train travel because that's also an experience. Try to do it earlier in the day. Short lines. If you do it in the middle of the day it's not really worth it. If you have your Express Pass Express will work for this. Yes. But also if you do it early in the day it's shorter.
Okay. Because no one's switching parks at that point. It stays in a high weight a lot. I use my Express Pass very frequently. Actually every time that I use it. I also am just assuming they're going to have an Express Pass. Oh. You say to do the train. I say don't do the train. If the train is 15 minutes or more. Just skip it. It's not worth it. Unless you
were a Die Hard Harry Potter fan. No that's true. If it's 15 minutes or more. It takes me 15 minutes to walk from the back of one park to the front gate of the other park. So for me it's not even that worth it. Okay. So my rule is if it's 15 minutes I'll hop on it with an Express. If it's 20 minutes or more and I have Express I'm just not even going to do it. Alrighty. Anyways. My day. At least look at the train station. Just like
kind of look at it. It's kind of cool. That's another thing. They won't experience the whole month. Once again if you're not a Harry Potter fan then you don't care. So nevermind. Okay so this is going to be your hectic day. I'm having you wake up at 6 15 or 6 30. I hope you're morning people. They are. Yeah they wake up early for work. I don't think they'll have a hard time with that. Okay. You're waking up at 6 15 or 6 30 so you can hop on the first
boat or bus over to Universal. You are then going to be among the first people in line for early party admittance to Islands of Adventure. Once at Islands you are going to beeline it straight back towards Soos Landing. You can skip a lot of rides in Soos Landing. It's kid thrice. So this is where it comes a little bit of planning comes in handy. Okay. As long as you're within the first person or two of that line for early park you will get on Hagrid
with like a five or ten minute wait. Almost guaranteed. As long as you walk fast. Okay. Don't run. When you walk to Hagrid's you are going to they're going to direct you to the right so you're going to go through port of entry. You're going to go to the right towards Soos Landing. They're going to check your hotel key card to make sure your hotel guest
has an early park. You're going to walk straight through and there is going to be the big round path that just keeps going straight but then there's going to be people that are veering to the left and going towards the green eggs and ham. You can say snitches but she's not going to know what that means. So the big thing that she's going to look for is the green eggs and ham. The place where you get tots. It's a circular green place. Yes. You're
going to walk back. You're just follow the crowd. You're going to go back and it's going to be a kind of like a little hidden path and it just cuts right through Soos Landing and it empties you right out at the bridge to Lost Continent. You are then going to curve around Lost Continent and just head straight back towards Hagrid's. Yep. As long as you do all of my steps correctly and you are within the first couple people of early park at the
front gates of islands you will have a five or ten minute wait. Guaranteed. I have had days where I am the first person in line and I walk right onto the ride. It takes me five minutes to walk through that queue. It's a long queue. Even when just walking onto the ride you still got to walk a bit. Yep. But it is nice because I don't think they even realize why we're emphasizing why this is so important. Yes. So if you if you don't
do it this way it'll be a two hour wait throughout the entirety of the day. Hagrid's is still probably the most popular ride. It is the most popular ride. And there is no express. Now it might change because Epic will be open. That's true. So side note we did not plan for you to go to Epic. No. Because we figured those lines are going to be way too long.
Like we are planning to go May 25th and we're only expecting to go on a ride or two. And also they did say they're going for Jurassic Park and yeah Epic is just going to be super crowded. If you wanted to add Epic you're going to need a longer trip. Now if I was being your travel guide and I was booking everything for you I'd tell you to go for four days at the very least. Three days at the two main parks and then at least one day
at Epic. Because that's all you can really buy right now. Yes. Anyways. For now we're assuming there's still not going to be an express line for Hagrid's. More than likely. Anyways. You're going to explore Hogsmead until 830. You could go over and do Velocicoaster but I'm telling you don't do it yet. You're going to do Hogsmead. You're going to walk around Hogsmead. There's some cool shops. There's a wand shop. There's like a little
wand ceremony where people get their wands. I'm pretty sure Amy's seen it. Enjoy this area when it's not too crowded. Yes. Because everyone is going to be going straight to Hagrid's. You will have that whole land almost to yourselves. And later in the day that area gets really hard to walk through. There is a bridge that you can use later on in the day if you need to to just completely bypass. Hogsmead. Yeah. So. Anyways. Enjoy your time
when you can. You're going to explore Hogsmead until 830. I say that because Forbidden Journey doesn't open until 830. So once Forbidden Journey opens you're going to hop on it right at 830. And then once the park is opened at 9am you're going to go back towards Seuss Landing. Why? Because I'm centering the day around Jurassic Park. Oh. Anyways. Alright because they went to studios and you're playing the day before. Anyways. You're going to hop
on High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride. Then you're going to go do Cat in the Hat. Both of these rides should be 5 or 10 minutes. Because everyone's going to be going to Harry Potter. What? I forgot. For Friday when you ride Velocicoaster I don't know if they'll be doing it during the day or at night. Why are you going back to your plane? Because you missed your opportunity. Try to ride Velocicoaster both in the day and night. There you go. You
lost your opportunity. Throughout your whole trip I don't care. Two very different experiences. I've still yet to do the one at night. Anyways once you're done with Seuss Landing with those two rides you're going to walk over to the Marvel Super Hero Island. You're going to hop on Hulk. Then you're going to go do Spider-Man. You're going to skip Toon Lagoon altogether. You're going to hop on Kong Skull Island and cry because it's not in 3D anymore. Or have
the outside area. By this time this will be lunch. Lunch. I have done it in days where I can do the entire park before lunch time. If you're briskly walking to everything. Don't do that. You could. But then their legs are going to be burning. My legs weren't burning. Anyways lunch. You're either going to go do Tots at Green Eggs and Ham or Confisco Grill. So Tots that's going to be your quick and easy lunch. Confisco Grill that's going to
be at the front of the park and it's going to be a nice sit down. It has pretty views. It also has more like Asian dishes there too. Anyways now is when you go and explore Jurassic Park. So there are two ways to get there from. I'm just going to assume you're going to choose Confisco Grill because it's a honeymoon. Confisco Grill is right at the front of the park. If you're looking out. Just straight out you can see the lagoon. The big water area. Islands
is formated in a circle. So you can either go left to get to Jurassic Park or you can take a right to go to Jurassic Park. So I'm going to say go to. Where are you going first? You're doing Raptor and Cunning. So you're going to go to the left. Isn't that towards Hulk? Yes. So you're going to go towards the left towards Hulk and then you're going to go back towards Spider-Man. Then you go take a slight right and go towards I think Toon
Lagoon is next. And then you're going to go back towards Kong and then you're going to walk past Kong and go do hop right into the Jurassic Park area. So is Kong and then Jurassic Park not the other way around? I think so. Because I think Kong is technically within Jurassic Park. And it doesn't really matter that much. It's a circle. You won't get lost. You're going to go do the Raptor encounter. It does have certain times that you can do
it. So figure out what time it starts at. Download the Universal app. Yes, do that. There will be a screen above the Raptor encounter and it will tell you when the next show is or how long the wait is. This wait does get pretty long. So try and get there right when it first starts. Or before. You're going to do the Raptor encounter. It's really fun. I've seen videos of it. I am jealous because I really want to go do it. You're going to
do Raptor encounter then you're going to go do Velocicoaster. Like I said, first front row or very last row, but I highly recommend the front row. After Velocicoaster, you're going to go on the Jurassic Park Repair Adventure. Again, third or fourth row should be fine. Try and sit in the middle row of the middle seats. So middle middle. If it's five minute wait, do it. If it's 10 or 15 or higher, skip it until it's lower. Or if you have an express
pass, do it. But just know you're probably going to get wet. But if he loves Jurassic Park as much as he says he does, and with how many times I see him wearing a Jurassic Park shirt, he's not going to want to miss this ride because it is the pinnacle of Jurassic Park rides unless he goes to Hollywood where that's the even more pinnacle ride. But I don't know if he likes Jurassic World more or Jurassic Park better. If he likes Jurassic
Park better, he's going to like our ride. But if he likes the Jurassic World franchise, he's going to like Hollywood more because their Jurassic River adventure is themed to Jurassic World and it looks more cool and modern, but ours looks more retro and Jurassic Park-y. It is also very sad because all of the river dinos are missing because they're broken and it's old. I don't even know if this ride will be open by the time you go.
I hope it is. Well, they'll still be inside dinos at least. Right, but I don't know if this ride is going to be open by then because my theory is it might close when Epic opens because I think a lot of the rides at Universal are going to start closing down because they're getting really old. So like Simpsons, Jurassic Park is probably going to get switched over to Jurassic World, so on and so forth. Go get the baby. We now have a tiny baby with
us because she woke up. Anyways, I'm going to try and not talk as loud so she can actually fall back asleep. After you do Jurassic Park River Adventure, you are going to go on any rides that you like, skipping Velocicoaster. You are not doing Velocicoaster yet. Okay. You're saving your last ride for Velocicoaster. Actually, no, they already did Velocicoaster. You're not doing any more ride. Like if you love Velocicoaster, you're saving it for last
because you need to do it at least one time at nighttime. You need to do it once during the daytime and once at nighttime. Why is that earlier? It is a completely different ride. And again, that front row at nighttime, you need to do the front row at nighttime. The way you do this is you're going to have to plan a little bit more since like right now it's easy for me and Melody to go do Velocicoaster at nighttime because it gets dark at like
430. That was an exaggeration. It gets dark at like six when the park closes at right now, I think eight o'clock. So it's very easy for us to do a nighttime ride. November, it's going to get dark later. So the park closes at eight. It starts getting dark around like seven, I think. You're going to want to hop in that line at like 730. So that by the time you get on the ride, you're going to be waiting in that line for at least an hour. So you're
going to want to hop in that line at 730. That will put you at an 830 ride. Yes, the park will be closed, but you can still ride the ride. So if you hop in a ride line right at 759, they'll usually run through that queue until, you know, nobody's in the queue. And don't wait that late because I'm pretty sure they stop letting people in. Now. Yes. But that's usually only for Hagrid's because Hagrid is the one that gets really inflated.
So even with Hagrid's, you can hop in the line at like 730, 745. Okay. Anyways, after your, your last ride at Velocicoaster, you're going to hop in line, not hop, you're going to head back to your hotel and you're going to freshen up for dinner. Take a shower, change your clothes, do whatever. That is a late dinner. Yes. You're going to freshen up for
your dinner. Amy, I know you eat at 630, six to 630. This is the one day you're going to say you're going to eat late because you're going to have to eat late because I am sending you to Mamadela's. Oh yeah. Now, Nick, where's Mamadela's? That's a very good question. Listener, Mamadela's is at Portofino. So you're going to hop on a water taxi. Unless you're staying
at Portofino, which would be convenient. That would be very convenient. So if you're not staying at Portofino, you're going to get to City Walk via whatever means is necessary. So that means bus, car, water taxi, whatever. So let's just say for giggles and whatnot, you're staying at Sapphire. You're going to take your water taxi over to City Walk and then you get off the boat. But instead of getting fully off the dock, you're going to
just walk over to the Portofino boat and hop on that boat. You're then going to take that boat all the way to Portofino where you're going to hop off and you're just going to walk, I think, straight back towards, I don't even know what to call it. You're basically just going to walk straight back and then you're going to bump into the first TM you see and you're going to ask, where is Mamadela's? Because we couldn't even find it. TM is team
member. Yes, that's what team member means. They are not cast members. I will yell at you if you call them cast members. Why am I whispering? I don't know. I don't know either. You're going to walk straight back, run into the first TM you see and ask them, hey, where is Mamadela's? They're going to point you in the direction to Mamadela's. fancy. Two, very honeymoon-y atmosphere. Three, they serenade you. We went there with Jack and before Rose was born and we sat down. We didn't stay for very long. He started getting very antsy. He did not want to stay there. Our server came back. You had already left. I'm like, hey, can I just get our food to go? She's like, sure, no problem. She boxed it right up. I was in an alcove area and the serenade band came over and started serenading
the booth right next to me. I was sweating my boots because I'm like, please don't turn to me and ask me for a song. But 10 out of 10 amazing food. Romantic dinner. Very romantic. Very nice. Very good end to your universal vacation. You will get serenaded, hopefully. That would be funny. Then you leave the next day. And then you leave the next day via whatever means you want to. Carrier pigeon for like hair. Giant pigeons. Yes. Anyways, that is

a circle. Well, yes, but you can have a map to know the fastest way to get somewhere. Yes. So you don't take the long way around a circle. Not really. So like you walk in Thailand, you are right in the middle of that circle. So if you're trying to get to the back of the park, it is the same, almost the same to go either left or right. If anything, it's so miniscule that it won't even matter. I'm just saying it's convenient if you have
the app. Oh, yes. It's very convenient. But my point is you don't have to do anything. No. Whereas Disney, you have to download their app. You have to get a Genie Plus. You have to figure out how to do lightning lanes. You have to figure out how to order food. Technically, they don't even need to go to studios. Why? Well, I guess so. I think they do.
