The Miami Dolphins have one of the better safeties in the league with Jevon Holland starting in the secondary. The issue, however, is that football teams usually start with two players at the position. On top of that, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio's scheme can leverage a third safety when at its best.

The Dolphins need to uncover answers at safety as Brandon Jones works back from an injury that sidelined him for most of the 2022 campaign. Miami signed DeShon Elliot in free agency and Verone McKinley III helped the team overcome injuries last year — is it enough?
