Episode description

Fallon Clepper is not your run-of-the-mill high school athlete. This young woman is a bass fishing champion, and the first woman to ever win the High School Bass Fishing National Championship. She and her partner, Wyatt Ford, who both attend Lake Creek High School in Montgomery, Texas, beat out a field of 416 boats to win the title. The championship took place on Pickwick Lake near Florence, Alabama. Over the three day competition, the pair caught nine bass for a total of 39 pounds, 9 ounces. We sit down with Fallon to learn more about her experience and the impact she has had on other female anglers. For more stories visit Anglers Journal Learn more about your ad choices.
