What's up? What's UPP's every time? Ante lay, I'm g MacGuire, I'm Larry all the act because you don't want to say Barton because people don't say his name too much. I can see that. I can see that why you white people would say that reading it Alright, So you guys don't know Barton from Oh no, bart the actor. You know him from the show. You know he plays a character Red and we love to see you on the show. We love when you have your shirt off and everything. Thank you. We may not like so much

character we'll see. Okay, so this is different. So Larry, y'all you don't love his character, but g you do? Yep, yeah, I don't want I want to hear why. Yeah, you know what? Because you got that eerie sense in it, Like as soon as I see you on the screen, it's just like you're like you know that you're up to no good. That's what I like see. And then that sounds like that like you take care of your little brother and like that your main't focus like you

know that. But jeeze, he takes care of his a little brother, but he also is putting him in situations that could pretend listen it's a hard in her life, my life. You know. That's how it was. Well, that's how the character was, how the character was great. It's too too tough on a little boy. I think you got ease up on him a little bit to Chicago

and go ease up on him. I think you'll be able to see moments where is actually a very endearing I'm waiting to see, you know, I think, Yeah, j have y'all ever been with a guy who got beat up and then you have to be there to take care of his boos? You know, But the caring, nurturing woman that I am, I would definitely be there too

to take care of them. Would you look at him differently? Man, listen, I might have to, you know, I don't fake a couple of times see if he gonna jump, but now he saw from here on out, that's all I'm like. I could beat you up to then remember when they beat your head, beat baby for them guys that beat you up last time? Oh now you're tough, right you to you wasn't so tough t of the day when you put some alcohol on you put the balls on

you now for you? Have you ever been in a situation where you were trying to impress a young lady and things went left as far as what they like trying to impress her. Hell like trying to out with a girl that you're dating and then some guy comes along and punks you. Never in my life, no, no, I never been punked. When is it time to step in though? Like, let's just say a guy comes and you're with a girl and he said you got a fat ass to the girl, Then do you keep coming

at me? I think you're coming at me, especially if he sees us together. Are you coming at me? So what's your response to that? Is it? Is it a fighting situation? The first reaction might just be like I have to defend her and I can't have her, Like, well, what about when Doude said I had a fat ass and you didn't. You didn't do nothing to him, But you want to come you know? So no, yeah, act like we don't see him, honey. But if he's bigger than you, she do got a fut don't do? What

about have you ever been with a girl who instigates situations? Yeah? Just do to Yeah, It's like, yeah, I had this one girl who just like liquor, just really transformed her completely what it was, wasn't it? It was okay? Transformed her like, yeah, she didn't mean she couldn't control herselfs. So yeah, we just caught up in a lot of situations. Isn't that the worst when you have a friend or a girl that you're dating, or a guy, and every

time you go out you know something about to happen. Yeah. Absolutely, I wouldn't want to go anywhere, right, would you. I'll be like, now we're just gonna stay Netflix. You know, Netflix it up. I used to be like that. I used to not know more like I grew up, but when I was younger, like what I drink? I want to fight, I want to argue, I say crazy these stuff.

I remember one time he was in the club and she poured the whole bottle on the couch this club because she was mad that I think we had Sorry, I just messed up the whole section, like like I'm pouring all these bottles and I was like doing I believe it. I don't remember, but I'm not denying I didn't. I didn't get stopped at the door. A couple of clubs in Chicago being John No, not for being drunk. Just because Yeah, they just be hating Chicago, all right,

they know you're about to start. No, they just know it's not even that, it's just something you know, you got some bounces will be like yeah know, then again, I don't care like that you rant from the show like you pay dub just like everybody else. And this and is that time when you're like, Okay, I'm not coming, I'm not kind of yeah, don't just especially I'm not tried to get flying on you. You ain't gotta. I

don't care about him. There's a restaurant in Harlem we still can't go to anymore because Angela he dropped to break fly on and then she was like what, no, we've never gone back there. Got your to slid it in like she forgot, Like I'm like we should Just what does that mean? Like he tried late, So basically it means like he tried to like flex on her. I don't care out breakfast club? What's that? You know what I mean? But this is what I feel like when there's a restaurant that you go to all the

time and you show them love. Because I bought Tia there. I bought a lot of artists. I had a lot of artists come come there and show them love, you know, and I never come to right, So I feel like if I come there, don't be disrespectful to me because I'm always trying to bring business out, posted about y'all, and he's new. He was a new guy, you know what I mean? Just right, So it wasn't just like

I feel like it's me. It's also I feel like I come here a lot, and I helped support your business and I post about it, and and I had dinners here and had huge bills. So at least when I come show yeah, put that respect her name, you know. But we're talking about going out with it could be a group of friends, and you always have that friends

that's always acting crazy. So let's talk about trust and how trust factors in two different types of relationships, like your friendships that you might have, or maybe situations with your siblings or even with your own family, like your relationship with your father or you know, things like that. How does trust play a factor when it comes to

you having these relationships? Um, it's like, at this point in my life, you know, reaching that level of fame and notoriety and success, you got to make sure that the people that you keep close to you deserve to be around you, you know. And I'm struggling with that myself. Like they say, like it's lonely at the top. I didn't really understand what that meant until like I started making it right. Um So, like I actually kind of stick to myself because it's hard to trust people, you

know what I'm saying. You never know, like, um, I fly you out to Atlanta and you know, spoil you for a whole weekend just because you're my friend, but whole time, like if you could flip a switch, you would be in my shoes and I would be in your shoes. Like you know what I'm saying, and that that goes on a light. But my friends tend to be very genuine, and especially my family. Um but yeah,

trust plays the biggest issue. What about with women? Because we did see those tweets that you were putting out about your exes and yeah, yeah, I was just being silly that day. Actually maybe maybe felt it a little. Yeah, maybe something did provoke me. Maybe it wasn't that long ago, so you know it wasn't it was like maybe something that day I pondered, tell us what I just I don't know, so I know I was drinking. Yeah, please help yourself. We got you. I thought we agreed. It

wasn't going to say that word. Yeah, we'll have some. Don't have a little drink because it was his birthday. By the way, I hungover birthday. I do one for her. I want to and we don't worry. We got all your boys who are in the room. They're gonna have some shots. Got some hennessy on the way, Did you tell us what year you were born? I just had to sit here and really like, did he just say? Yes?

He did? It? Was? What were we doing at ninety five? Man? Listen, I had my baby in ninety six, so I probably could be your mama. Now, hold on, you got to grew up with her daughter. Am I married? No? But I do have a twenty two year old daughter. M she's cute too. What am I really still trying to figure out how old that was at that? Yeah it was not nine. I'm more coming. Don't worry. I would feel a little junior year in high school. I might

still be sung o for me. Just still drunk? Right, yes, okay, so I'm still drunk. So what kind of girls do you like bart um and has your taste changed from when you were younger? Um, lack of better words, I've always like had bad girls, like you know, like I've always had like the baddest at the baddest in my opinion and in other guys opinion. Like so it's not like once I start getting famous, I'll start coming out

the closet with exotic women. And you know, it was always like that, like you always pull up to see me with something like oh damn, like that's how you coming so um, they always pay attention, Like you know, I'm big on fashion. You know, I look at I'm gonna look at your outfit first kinda and then um, you don't see potentially people though, like you might look at the alpha and be like, okay, I gotta jump.

But I'm young, know maybe it all change as of right now, it's just be like, no, I'm not off that, like because it's like I'm thinking about who you are as a person and deciding to wear that. You know, some people also just don't have that, you know what I said. You can always tell a man by the by the shoes that he wears, like gonna stand too close straight up what would you saying, I'm sorry you

were talking about. Yeah, the women. It's like you can always tell a man about the shoes that he wears. I can always. I feel like I can tell a woman by the way she dressed, you know, So what are some things that women should look far as far as how they addressed, Like what what's a well dressed one? It's not necessarily a brand or anything, but you have to be like I have to look at your style, like I need to see that you have style, you know what I mean, Like you have some class about you.

But at the same time, you hit the club and you tee up. You know, you can kind of I can always kind of sense that from the way a woman dressed the finest fashion over and that's not even I think fashion says a lot about your personality. It does, Yeah, I think so. But then sometimes we have off days. Oh yeah, even the off days, it's still like you gotta at least be you know what I mean. Yeah, I think you can tell a lot about a guy too by the way that he dresses. And we've definitely

been with some fixed rappers. I have to like some of my friends have had boyfriends that I've been like, he can't dress for ship, like I have to have, Like I agree with the dressing thing. I think like that might be up there with looks like I have to like you have to be attractive and you have

to know how to drive. I definitely did it guys who couldn't dress, but I didn't want to say because it was back to the point where I would like before we went out together, I would have to like overview his outfit, like because he would were like rid snake skin from head to toe, like on his hat, on his jacket, on the shoes, like that's just weird.

It was weird, Like he would be in monochronamic all the time, like it will be like a color of today, like today's color is purple, and it just got purple, was max Because that's even worse dress and because obviously he was dressed like that when you met him, like a snap. Alright, so given so me and g G don't care that much about dressing. I care, No, it's a I feel like it's a bonus, like if I dress,

it's a bonus. But I definitely remember when I was younger, I dated this guy and he would always buy these shirts from J. C. Penny. They didn't have to like wrinkle free shirts. No, he didn't have to iron him. But he had one of those jobs where he had some weird stuff. You don't iron your shirts. He worked for you work for. Nothing wrong with a respectable job. Nothing's nothing wrong with that. You were like thirteen and he was a busch driver. Just know how old were

So I just made that up. I was about twenty six years old, okay. But his shirts were always like wrinkle free and jeans would be like mad wife. Weird combination of Andy's kind of like you gotta cut him up to at the battle. Don't know that Jesus Christ, do that cuff your gene at the bottom, the y gene. Chicago used to cut him. Oh yeah, yeah, back in the day they What about your own relationship with your father? Since we're talking about trust and relationships, how's your relationship

with your dad? When my father passed when I was nine years old. He dad in two thousand four. Um so, um, yeah. I didn't grow up with the father in my life. My mother was my father. She had to become my father. So but me and her like that's we talked about everything, like yeah, my mother has been my father in my life. Did she talk to you about your dad, like give you memories? And absolutely absolutely, what I mean, not even not only her, Like I'm still um, Like I told

you his best friend it's Lorence Takes for father. So Uncle Larry me and him still talk and Uncle Sterling, the guys who were best friends with my father, And yeah, it's just a lot of stories. I know so much about my father and they tell me I have his same mannerisms like everyone who when I'm around they said, like I can't be around you because I'm gonna crowd so much. You know, Yeah, you feel like he's a

guardian angel. I know a lot of times people feel like they have when a parent passes or sibling, they feel like they have a guardian angel watching them. Yeah.

I usually didn't believe in stuff like that, but like, yeah, I sit up and talk to my father all the time, like I'm talking to him after this, like yeah we really did it twice the breakfast clear absolutely, And then to even know that you're a season, You're the next season of the Shy, You're going to have a pretty big role on that, so you know, at least we know that you're gonna make it to the end of season two, right, and then and then and then season

three happen and want to know what happens? Yeah, Jack Survivan, you know he just you know, if something would have happened to Jake, What how do you think if you had to write that character, right and something happened to Jake? What do you Jake? What do you think would happen

to redg Oh? He would um if y'all don't like him now, it's like, y'all don't really hate It's gonna be Russ everybody like everybody the first Yeah, everything, everyone has to die your prom day, everybody with the character of Red Snitch on somebody, if they if he knew who did it, if say, something happened to his brother and he knew who killed him, with Red Snitch not at all, he would hand himself. He would go take

care of that right away. You go get Big Mike hop in the car and yeah, go take care of that. What about some love scenes for redg On this season? What do you mean what about him? I mean gonna we're seeing them in a little bubble tub. Hand I had a bottom Hennessy at one hand. It was going down in the Katie Pool. It made me want to Katie Pool. You're gonna see something. You'll see You'll see red shirt off again. That's all I can say. That's just a shirt off, a BUTTOCKX or something to That's

how I can say. Sally Richardson directed that episode. Shout out Sally, Oh, Sally Richardson. That's she comes to the juice bar. Sure done. But if you had to get like booty naked naked, it's like it's always a close set when it's like one of those intimate saying So it only really be the director in the cinematopic everybody that watches it. Yeah, what about children? You don't have any kids yet, right, so do you think about that? You know, I have a lot of nieces in their

few so I don't need any children like me. You're looking forward to it because you know that's one of the big story lines down there too. We see Emma trying to get his life together and be amouther to his son. Have you ever had a scare and thought maybe you were going to have a kid. Yeah? Once, Yeah, in the past. I was seventeen eighteen at that point in my life. I was just like so crazy, like I'm like, I need to keep her in my life forever.

Like that's a guy, like yeah, we'd be tripping, we'll be doing but like yeah, I remember, like I was talking to my homie from college and he was like I remember you being eighteen telling me like I have to get her pregnant so she can just be in my life forever. Like see, people don't realize that it's guys who will put holes and condoms themselves, like you know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, I think I've broken a couple of hearts. I could say, do you feel bad about it? Yeah, I mean I do feel bad,

But at the same time, I'm real about it. And I've always been like open about it, Like this is not don't fall in love like you know, because I don't. I'm not consistent, you know. So you tell a girl that don't fall in love with I'm just I'm telling I let him know, like because I'm not on that what you're on, you know what I mean, Like I'm not ready to be committed to you. And and like especially now it's like I'm twenty four. I think this is kind of the age where girls are kind of

like ready to have families. Yeah, here that she said, you guys shouldn't be you gals. All right, Now, let's get back to the show, and let's talk about the character of Brandon right and him and his girlfriend. Could you imagine breaking up with somebody and then seeing them with somebody else and then getting back together with them in my life? Never, in my life, never, that was

so embarrassing. They were broken up. Nah. Nah, and the end, I remember, wait till you mean no, No, I'm just like, no, you're making Brandon like a little bit too mad of that. I was so mad when I saw that, because like, I don't read the script only like really focus on my acting, so I want to see it as an his opinion, like y'all. Like, so when I saw that, I was like, what what? Like, Yeah, I couldn't believe it, Like, no, that would never happen to me, though, that's what you say.

Now you're gonna have bad karma because you said it. Could never know. I mean, but at least they were bro they were broken up. But I'm not gonna go back with you. Let me just say, they ain't gonna say that. We didn't go ever to be cool and I'm never talk to you again. But as far as me us being boyfriend and girlfriend again, No, But what

did she do wrong? They were broken up. I didn't even do anything like if we want to go back to the shop, even do anything like he was helping a little boy like you kick me up, even gave him a chance to explain stop three times. She wouldn't give him a chance to She didn't want to just you know, like, yeah, she does a phenomenal job. Because I don't like, I can't stand. But he liked her booge nous. It felt like because it was different from

where he was probably you know you don't like boogie girls. No, I mean I think that. I wonder what's gonna happen with their relationship on this new season because they are back together. But can he trust her? Like, would you tell him if that was your boy in real life? Can he trust his after knowing the backstory? I would say, yeah, bro, your your boost? That's that's the word we use in Chico. What is that popped bogus? Your bulls? No, Like that's

a bullist relationship. She's boost And yeah, no, you think she did something that was that bad? To him though, I mean, it seemed like she doesn't understand lawyer to run so deep with me. It's like if you really was in love with me and all of that, like that wouldn't have happened, Like it would have took at least, especially like how I feel about myself, it's gonna take years, like shake a man's hand, like you know what I'm saying. Like, so it's like with me, it's like, no, that's over

with you. I made the right decision. What happened everything else for a reason, And the reason behind this is so I can catch you being a goofy with this other guy and you never have my attention ever. Again, moving on quickly is weird, and they say, like what's the saying, Like the best way to see somebody is to pretend you're not watching them, and that's when you see. I think she showed her true colors, Like, I mean, the moving on is one thing, but how he said no,

But that's how he said. And you're the guy that keeps calling like it was disrespectful. We were just together for years together, We had not that was crazy that she brought him to that block party that she did not need. She did not need to be there him weight and everything, like come on, yeah, but I mean

it's yeah, no, that was a disrespectful party. Now, when you break up with somebody, you are not supposed to bring them to your ex boyfriend's block party unless you're trying to set them up to get robbed or get beat up or something like that. Don't need a lot. Aready said she hadn't even been there. Her character, um was from the North Side of Chicago, Like you're not even with me, Like you know what I'm saying. But you know, she trying to show off that that guy,

That's what it was. She was trying to make him jealous. You think, so it had to be because what you're doing over there, and she just goofy like that. Alright, youngragulations on season two of The Shot, which starts April seven, and season three because you're gonna live right, cheers lying as spies. Now, let's talk about this getting back into dating thing, right, because Data is trying to get back into dating. We all know how tough that is for guys.

How tough is it for you? Like, if you haven't been dating for a while, you've taken a break to jump back in What advice do you give because guys have a harder time I think admitting when they're a little heartbroken, or like going to their friends and saying, oh, you know I missed my girl. Yeah yeah, yeah we were friendly. Move a lot. Um you know what that means? Friends, your movement. I can imagine, Okay, a lot of guys front day movement act like um o, don't yeah, like

she want me the wife. I ain't on that. I ain't. I got my brother be friend this movie. But let me just say that he'd be friends perfect my brotherly friends moved like he would do a lot, like when he'd be like, bro, like she want me the wife? Like I'm not on that, Like when really you are madly in love with this woman and you should really accept that and just y'all make it happen. You know that is so true because guys talk to us so

different than they talk to their boys. They really do like yeah to y'all's just like I just I've never felt this way. I don't want me to be in my life, like you know what I'm saying, Like I really see you as my wife, keep a really wife, like come on, ain't nobody on that like you know, like I'm just trying to hit and just you know,

but too good. You know, I don't forget, so you'd be pretending to like you're not into the girl that much from my try nothing from my move as much as I can, I'll tell you, like, yeah, bro, I'm on that, like that's me. Can't come over as much as anymore, you know, yeah, because I've lived with like three different women in my life playing But that's why I'm glad everything. I got all that stuff out of my system. So now I'm good, you know what I mean?

That quick? Was it that you needed a place to stay, because you know guys will do that to two of the women live with me? Actually yeah, because I have a heart was at the same place? Did you change the man? I have a problem with that, like, did you change them? If I just move another motherfucker? Was one person? Not at all? It wasn't. But I've definitely lived with two women. And my cousin had to let me know one day. He told me, like, excuse me,

my cousin. He was like, bro, you're married, bro, And I was just like, bro, I'm not married. What are you talking about? He said, Bro? You live with her, you're married, and I'm just like, I don't understand. I didn't really stand what he's saying. He's like, Bro, every decision you make, you have to consult her about that, Like you know what I'm saying, Like, you can't just jump if I tell you come to Atlanta with me, You're gonna have to check in with your woman, you

know what I'm saying that. It's like, yes, it is, like it's not even just check in, but it's just like you gotta go through somebody, be respectful and don't live together. You still kind of have to do that. Like if you're in a relationship, but if you're in a committed relationship, be married regardless. Like that's just because it's because it's like everybody is human and we're gonna have these emotions and feel the way we're gonna feel.

You shouldn't do that. I feel you shouldn't be doing that. I feel like you shouldn't be talking like that because you're your mind, you know what I'm saying, And it's like, that's that's your wife. It's no, there's a big difference between marriage and being in a relationship in a committed relationship and the committed in the committed relationship finances is what makes a difference than marriage relationship because this people that's married, they don't act like they're married at all.

That's dating and that more married than people that's married. Right right, I know some single married people. Do you ask a girl like to be your girl? Do you say, hey, um, will you be my girl? Just it just happen, happens. And that's to answer your question. I would tell guys to be careful because like myself, I find myself in a relationship, not be like how am I in a relationship? How did this happen? But I did that to myself. I allowed it. I prolonged the situation, you know what

I'm saying. And I also said I love you too. Once you say I love you, and it's like, you know, you know, unprotected sex is involved. It's really like, I think we should have a conversation now now that you said that and you say, how did I end up in a relationship? I feel like nowadays like we skipped the party that we're supposed to be doing, and I think we should sit down and have that conversation like we've been together, you know, hanging out for a minute.

Why don't we take this a little more serious? And I don't want you to see anybody else. If that's okay, I'm not gonna see nobody else even But is that still a committed relationship because people still act like, well, we're just I'm not seeing nobody else. But I don't want to give it a title. At least have the conversation and be forced into it, like well you know

that you ain't you know what happens. What happens is they introduce you to somebody as, oh, you know my girlfriend and girlfriend girlfriend, but like, no, I don't like his friends, we're just friends. Were cool, we cool? Has that happened to be with a girl and she's introduced you as her man like, oh you know my boyfriend bart she said him that would be playing yourself no, like unless it was not until it was at that time.

But you don't have the conversation. I mean, okay, So as far as to your date, would you date a girl because you said two women live with you who didn't have it all together? Are you saying what I dated a woman who doesn't have it all together? Yeah? Who's like you more have to help her out. Yeah, I feel like I could build them. I can make it, you know what I mean at this point in my life. So yeah, absolutely drink that. Absolutely. Yeah I got that from Meek Meal too. I'm not that you build them,

make I feel I feel that that way. Like, but at the same time, you want to accept a woman for who they are, you know, and if she still but why couldn't she know? Yeah, right, that's what you mean. Actually, Like if she was like struggling, like financially, still living at home with her mother and I'm not on it, that's where's her drive? Because that's the thing. If she

had a job and was trying to get out. Talk about if you if if I know that you're passionate about something and I believe in you, then absolutely, But not being an Instagram mother, you know what I'm saying, Not being an Instagram mother. Some of them get paid very well. You respect that, you know what I'm saying. You respect that check. But other than that, it's like you don't want I wouldn't want that to be my girlfriend, Like you know what I'm saying. But you have a

problem with your girlfriend being on Instagram sexy? Yeah you would, Yeah, what if that's how you met her. I don't that probably most likely wouldn't end up being my girlfriend if I met you through Instagram find a slid in your d M. Now I'm not I'm not interested in dating you or you just that's an everlasting thing. That is, you're very you have a large sense of sex appeal. I mean I have a large sense of sex appeal,

and she's very appealing to me. And that's why that provoked me to That's why I certain girls like why do you like show that? Like why don't you like kind of perk up your breast sometimes when you take pictures do this and that? Like do you want that attention? Because some girls will leave you on red, you know, and some girls will be like, don't disrespect me and be like you got some big boobs or you got

a fat ass or something like that. But you're putting it out, don't you want It's a compliment, right, I'm complimenting it, you know at the end of the day. But you know what, that's that's very corny. Now that's not me. I'm just I'm just talking general examples. But no, I don't. I don't usually slide in d M. Yeah, I don't, especially now like I got the blue check verification. Boy, I can't like this. One time, I think I just replied a heart emoed you to a fan and she

immediately screenshotted it and posted it. That's sweet, but it's like you right, It's not that she was excited, but she was excited at where she and you just you don't do anything that bad. Actually, do you want to put that on Twitter? Somebody but said something of course, But at the same time, it's like you can't. You can't be too quickly to slapping the DM because that can get screenshotted to you know what I'm saying, And you're trying to be thirsty like the DM is great

for business. Though I contacted you and got you to come up with I definitely you s M. He said it was going to be in New Year because I was trying to get it on the show before. Okay, who is off limits when it comes to dating and flirting? Though? Are there people that you feel like are off limits? Anybody can get it? Get you gonna get this? Could you feel with that guy Antelo Bassett? That off absolutely? Who have I slarted with? I fled with Tiffany hottish. Okay,

I can see that. She's fun very funny. Yeah, but now like yeah, anybody can nobody's off limit. What about Oprah? Could you play with Oprah? I love but not like not like what flirty you would have feel like? Yesecually, hopefully she watches my show and she loves my work and one day I meet Oprah. But you got a good at this work. Now, did you have a childhood crush when you were growing up, like somebody that you were watching on TV and you were like, I gotta cry.

I like her. That's my ideal woman. We met, she's so sweet. Did you ask her out? No? Her man wash That's right. She does a little boyfriend? Little boyfriend? How you made people feel less than boyfriend? It was cool. I'm just playing. I'm being silly. He was cool. But but if it doesn't, I love growing up. Still. He's gonna be in that striper movie coming out, And that's a fantasy, right there, come true for you. You're going to see that. You know it absolutely. What's your favorite

date spot in Chicago? Remember when we was in Chicago, we did live service in Chicago, and we first of all, Chicago has some of the best food and some of the restaurants that you'll have amazing. So if you could give us some great date spots to go to. What's your favorite places? I just recently went to a spot on State Street called Quartinos. That's a very nice spot, Um, Cortinos Quartinos. Yeah, okay, UM, give us some, don't He's

gonna give us, that's what. Just be careful now, you know it's a great place called so Late Okay, so the best soulful that's good to me. So yeah did he did? He son has been there every All the stars come to so Late when they come to Chicago. Definitely go to so Late. Um, but don't give us something pure spots. They'll give us some low spots, some low spots. Yeah, um, I go to Tavern in the Park.

Yeah that's that's true. All right, that sounds fansy. Now I'm about to be back in Chicago soon, so I'm gonna make sure I write all these down. Yeah, sure, hit me up, No, I definitely will. Alright, So the shy I think I'm the most excited person in the room. No you're not. No, you're not. Believe me. And that guy, we gotta you know what, we should have a watch party, so we're gonna watch it together. Yes, watch are you

on the first episode? We got to make sure before we put this watch Okay, he's on the first that I can't wait. No, But seriously, congratulations because I know it's been a journey and I know you have some music on this new season of The Shy. Yes I do um, Yes, I said um. And it actually was recorded at home in my apartment. Actually, now you got a studio, Yeah, I got the studio at the Crib. At the at the Crib, my homie, Daniel Brelan out

of Atlanta, flew him in. We knocked it out, did four songs within the weekend and submit it all eleven of my tracks to the music supervisor for The Shy, and they just went to a woman. They selected a song called Simplicity Congratulations like a sexy song. It's so sexy.

What's simplicity about um? Especially like just talking about um in a guy's respective who's in a committed relationship and who's just just telling the story to this woman about just how she just makes everything so simple and just everything is just so special when you come around and when you write that song about Um was really for the guys, like, yeah, I wrote that for me actually not even for women, just for for me and to like kind of feel that when they write just like

sure that like your draft just writing home, it's just like, yeah, you know, we need that good energy make a man feel good about themselves and a woman because it's just real, Like the lyrics is just yeah, finally at home. I don't have any explicitly I'm looking for. I don't I don't have too much explicit lyrics really at all. And in all of my music it's really you know, you would think that I'm like at least in my forties, like the way that I talked, Yeah, I mean my

mother is in her late sixties right now. So it's like I grew up listening to Stevie wanting Smoky. She's so proud Terry Faye black Men. She certainly she probably loves watching the shows like she'd be she'd be tweaking off the show like and then when you did this, like but let me tell you what she's like, you cold let me take because I ain't know when you was going. Yeah, she go on like you're my biggest fan, like definitely was the last time you've got a girl

home to meet your mom? It's been a while. Did she like your girlfriends or she ye, she's such a sweetheart, so like yeah, but she she's to the point like she will even have a full conversation with you, build you up as a as a woman and all of that, just have a cold conversation with you and still may not even like you. I was just like, yeah, yeah,

like you tripping. Yeah, And she's always right. My mother is always right, Like she's the realest person on what if she was like, girl, my sonbar is no good. Let me just tell you what. But nothing real that she would say that, like she but she never played that, you're not gonna bring one woman in here and then thank you for no. She never played that if Like I almost slipped and said the girl day, miss nobody.

I'm good, I'm good on the boy, you're young sory teller like so I like to tell stories, but I must slip up and Saturday. But anyways, um yeah, any of the songs that you wrote, the eleven songs about her, not at all. It's not her about her, no simplicity. Um, I was kind of someone in a relationship when I wrote this song. But yeah, to be honest, yeah, it's always someone in the back of your head you think about.

But um, and like, once I listened to the lyrics myself, you know, with an unbidis opinion, Like yeah, it's kind of like, oh girl, who you what you do? You think it's easier for what you do to be in a relationship, but to be single, to be single, But now experiences that you're having right now, it's good for you to be single. Enjoy yourself, enjoy your life, get to know yourself and and and all of that before you try to create something with somebody else. That's what

I'm glad. I got all of that out of my system. Like I've lived with multiple women, had committed relationships even though I was young, but it was still the real deal there, you know what I mean. So I'm good now. You have had girls fight over you, absolutely fighting over that. Girls kissing over me actually different, like we're going to fight, Like we had a conversation with you. You I can't believe you would even do that. She's so I get a call, I mean a video they ain't slowing down

at the club. Whoa Okay, alright already it was like, don't call us no more, get out here to give my attention. Of course we know strick ladies. You were like, where y'all that right now? I didn't I'm pull up. I didn't live life to you know. I didn't. I didn't do some stuff. So maybe a few months back then I would have even eager to just and I just relaxed and chill. Yeah, yeah, something to my sister like look at these look at them, look at these homes,

look at these lovely young ladies. Absolutely well, but we appreciate you so much for this shy takeover. So time the shot is back. You are a regular now serious regularly, a serious regular that we're happy to see that you're going to be all over.
