It's like everything is the baby, the baby, and then I stay with my man and my man, my man and diaper pamper. It's a routine crying. I can't get my nails done, I didn't get my hair done. I'm

just trying to find myself again. And it was like when I finally was able to come back around a little bit, I'm like, I need to get back to my roots. And that's why it's called back on Dexter. That's where I'm from, in Detroite Dexter enjoy Road. I feel like after you give birth, everything changes, like your mind changes from all your organs moving around, like everything hormone. Yeah, I used to can hole using the restroom. Now it was like I gotta get it out. Everyone said that

times an hour. Yeah, I was going all the time before. It was awful when I was pregnant though, h I was. I just should have stayed in the damn tough than I should have. I talked to so many of my friends through their pregnancies before I had one, like girl, you're not gonna be pregnant for long and look. And then one of our fans who has a kid told you. She was like,

take your life back. You have to take your life back. And then body feels like that, like you gotta get you gotta find yourself again. And that's why this is so important. How did you find yourself for this project? Like what did you do to get your mind back to pre mommy hood, pre being math? Like how did you get Oh my god, because right after I had him in January, I was feeling in February for me on math. That's why I was real chunky. That is,

I was really wild. But what I had to get right back to it, so I couldn't do the breastfeeding that long. I tried it um and I was like, all right, remembering lines, getting back to getting back to that, not feeling secure with myself on camera. You already got extra weight on camera, and I already got extraight from my baby. I'm like insecure, insecure and the inside. You know what I'm saying. I don't feel like doing nothing but being a mom because it's a routine. I was

a zombie for a long time. And so when I got done filming, it was like, all right, I had a little breath room. Right then it was hot outside. He started holding his own bottle. It's like, all right, cool, I guess I got me a little extra time or whatever. So that happened, and then I was just like, man, I gotta I gotta do something to make myself feel because I was I was doing shows, shows was coming in. I gotta keep the money rolling in. I've been sitting

for a long time. Yea, the shows start coming in. I have a whole bunch more sources and income and I was doing all that and I'm like, I need to do something to make me have fun again. I want to have fun and I love music. It's a passion for me. So I called my brother Joseph mcfashion and he from from the city too, and that's like We've been on each other over a decade, and I'm

like if I'm like I was telling them. I sent him a song that I've been dead and he was like, no, you need to get back in that one bag like and I'm like, shit, I want to how how like man, you need to get back on him Detroit beat. You need to get back in And I'm like, you're right, and he do. He do that. So he's like, look, we need to put a project together. Out of all of these years, we have never done it together. We're just genuinely been brothers and sister. He never been around me.

Let's do a project. Let's do a project. He never forced her acts a million times and it was just like this time, it was just perfect. I had left my last deal, got a new him righting in and there. it the sound as rugged as possible. And you know what is it different when because you don't need to do music right, you're making, like you said, a lot of income doing other things. And when you first came out, you know you always was getting into the bag, but the music was your first, like main source of income. Now the acting is popping in everything, all a little deals and then investments and stuff like that. So then it's like, but that's not fun what acting is fun. Yeah, acting,

it's fun. Taking pictures is fun. So I gotta take the business that's cool and um making music and videos that's fun to me. But that's like I feel like the most work, like going on tour. Yeah that sounds train. Yeah, I mean it's a lot like city to city, going from here to the you don't want it becomes a lot with this fun. But when you like you got you you got a little stability there, you know what I'm saying, Like you could have your stuff in one spot, you get to get up and wash your face with

your face shoe. It's like it's different when you got a stability. But like when you on a plane and you in hotels, it's not the same. You'd have been lost luggage, lose another shoe, god, damn jury, you know, forgotten the damn safe. But it's just it's like it's just like you all over the place. So I know what you're saying. Yeah, yeah, So it's like when you're on the tour bus though, it's better and then it's fun to me, Like I love performing, I love seeing

my fans. Man, that s made me happy. They'd be going crazy for you. So I got the warmer to see and you can actually buy it and put it on your current toilet. You know what. So you ain't got a get to hold. You don't have to do. You have to have like someone come and store like the um the paddle for it to do all the things. If you want the fancy one, you got that, man point you need it, I got rid of you did

That was allowed to keep up. I had my family there. They you know it was it just was too much. I just needed to do what made book.

It's just And when you have a seven bedroom or you know, a lot you don't need you you figure out I don't need all this space. Honestly, truly it was seven bedrooms. Yeah, it was ten bathrooms, water pool, the pond. I had a pond with fishes in their poy fishes and not a feed. Yes, it's like the lawn, the stone, the white stone, brick got to get cleaned. That as a whole.

You got the driveway that got You don't want all things you got to clean that often don't talk about the maintenance of the marble floors. Wow. And like when other things is happening like pipes and orleans. No exactly electric problems. This is all kinds of water problems like I was. I was with somebody, and I remember I looked at his maintenance built for his house to you know, to take care of everything because he was gone for the season, and when he came back, everybody just ruined it.

Like he had people in the house. I went to it was a hundred and thirty thousand dollars. You went, I want to go to b a meth. When I met Tracy and Gumber you leave people in back, it was like like they wasn't maintaining it at all. Shit listened. But that is a learning lesson, right, because sometimes you think, Okay, I'm bout to buy this mansion. I love my family, I'm want everybody here, and we're just gonna do it.

All I gotta do is pay this mortgage every month, and then you realize there's a whole lot more to come with it. Wait, it's oh my god, not just a mortgage to taxes. The water bill was crazy from my pool crazy, yeah, but a big as house. What man? It was just too much. And I was just like, it's just too much for me. You had me stressed out, So I just sold. You had to experience, and I did it. Yeah, I did it. You did it, and it was in my name. That's my out. So I

did it and I sold it and it's over. It's like, okay, I know I don't want to do that again, right, Yeah. And I had a good time, you know what I'm saying. I enjoyed it for the two years I was there. It sounds like you needed a living housekeeping maids and the more because if it makes more sense if when you there and I feel like you do those houses when you retire, yeah, while you still mad kids. Yeah, yeah, because you will be there. Yeah, you know what I'm saying.

It's like when you want to go, you can't. Nobody gonna take care of your stuff like you. Right, And that's not even saying my family wasn't. But there ain't nobody gonna do it like you. It was like a week or something after Valentine's Day, and then the anticipation is nice, yeah, you know what I'm saying, and then it was like special stuff like that. Yeah, any type of intimacy at the time, I'm not, but you get my hand jobs. But the time you get to it's just you're so comfortable with him, you colle you can have them, you could drive it. Yeah, you know what we you know what I'm saying, Like that's been in our life for so long, just getting up doing what the we want to do whatever I wanted to.

Now I can't do hold long way. You're telling me you running shit, So I'm going to ask you can I go like I never had to ask somebody or make sure somebody was straight before I leave, or now you on my mental I'm gone. It's like, you know, something to be stuck in our waist and I know we finish this. You about to FaceTime him right away, about to do what you're doing. And someone may have postpartum that they don't even want the baby. Yeah yeah, and I didn't. I didn't feel like that. I just

felt bad about everything else. I would be good to the baby. I wanted her. I just yeah, but it still was like, what am I supposed to do with her crying like that? I feel bad? I'm like because I know she could feel my energy and you know she's looking at me like, and I know you had no idea what it would be like, because before she had the baby, she was like, Okay, Angela. After the baby a month after, let's go away, let's go on a trip. I said, Jassie, you're not gonna want to

go away after you have this baby. I was like, and she was like, and then what happened? I literally said, Oh, nothing's gonna change off. No, nothing. That's how it had to be so hard for you to go right back to work that yeah, yeah, after you had the baby and be away from your baby. It wasn't really hard because I know, honestly, I think that helped. That helped me be a better mom. I got because when you're

getting balanced. The only thing I didn't like, am I going back to work is because I was I didn't feel myself right? Yeah, yes, but it was good for me and my mentor just to get out of the house with him and his dad to feel guilty. Nope, that's good. No, because you know, and the reason I didn't because I got off the breast off the breast milk and he was on you know, his his formula so much. And yeah, because I'm like, now, I don't
