How do you think people received it at first? Because you know, everybody knows you for something different, and then you're like, now I'm doing music. How was it? You know what? Actually? Like I thought it was gonna be like really hard, but I mean, of course, I mean everything is like you know what
I mean, anything's gonna really touch you. But I've been getting about it, like support from people like even um, you know, I put out the first my first song seeing her, I was by myself, and then the second one was cash only with Trippy Red, which was like, you know, he's big, and then the third one you know, we keep the sneaking too shirt to short my word. So like I've been getting like a lot of like positive like feedback and then the new one that I just try with Asian Dolso I like that a lot
of it is about man f these haters too. Yeah, basically pretty much, and a lot of people if you popping, you can relate to that, right because no matter what, if you get a little bit successful, you know that's coming, right. I mean, if you have like a thick scheme, you'll
be fine, you know what I mean. But everybody kind of like wants that whole you know once all that, but you gotta be able to like take the good like with the bad, like absolutely just it's just not gonna work out, you know, but you handle it so well. And I do want to say I was just saying I was telling you, I was telling somebody that black China, when it comes to the money, she gets to the bag, Okay, because you do have a lot of things going on. Of course, we see that you got the last you
got lashed, which you've had for a while. Now how long has it been, um seven years. That's a long time because a lot of best start yeah to fourteen fifteen nights been coming yep. So it's crazy. I had to like actually like close it down because I'm like the COVID and I kind of remodeled it a little bit, so I'm actually opening up this month or fifteen in
a few days. So I've been going through like the whole hiring process, which is like fun and interesting to like, you know, like meet people and then like when they meet me there like oh it's actually you, not like somebody else, you know what I mean, like running it or doing it. So it's just an experience. And also only fans. You've got the only fans bag that you've been at the top of the list when it comes to the money makers, our only fans twenty million month.
I mean, come, oh, that's what I read, So what's happening. It's not twenty it's not it's not that much. It's not twenty It's like it's something but you're doing Yeah, you pay taxes on it and stuff too. I know they take all that out, they take they take of talk. I mean, that's that's a given. But I don't mind it. Those just like it's here or there, you know, like a lot of people that came after me with the

But I'm like, bro, I don't care, you know what I mean, because I have to have like multiple incomes and screams streams of money and we're not because because one thing might be kind of low this month, but another thing makes up for that. Or if you like, you know with um lash and things like that and products, you have to put out money to like receive it. So I'm not really only really care what people say. Like I'm kind of I don't really know what. I've been a NOVA for a long time. I'm like a really long time. You can tell they cut in a big chet because they're in your show. I'm really excited about that because like I was like skeptical at first, like I don't feel like hearing people's like negative stuff about it, and you walk, you while we walk. But then like once I like educated myself about like really what it was, I was like, okay, you know what, I'm on board, and I just I
like like the whole positive thing behind it. I mean obviously like smoking is not like but for you to like calm the anxiety and like sleep throughout the night because I know, like a lot of times, like when we're like on the go and like just a stroke a business women were like this like this, so our brains can't really have the time to like shut down and like actually rest because I find I used to find myself like literally thinking while I'm sleeping, I'm like, bro,
I'm supposed to be sleep right now, but I'm still constantly thinking of like what I gotta do the next day or just stuff or I might like sleep really really light. So like with the c d D, what it does is just basically like calms you and like you know, um, calm you like your anxiety and you can sleep throughout like the night, you know, and without having like the crazy like not crazy side effects, not the side effects of like THHC. So I really like
it a lot, you know. And I was like, all right, well, if I'm gonna do like this project with playing Jay, and I have to be like cans or like fully like into like the project, like creative wise and marketing and all that type of stuff. So UM actually came up with the idea of like the whole g t a UM style of the box actually left the box, so another side of house Um of like the whole g T g t A style. And then I was like, you know what, I'm gonna actually become the character. So
I got like the same wig outfit and everything. I walked up water and walked. I drove up to like the Hollywood sign and poses the same as the box. So I thought that was like that wasn't your vape because you smoke your vapor? Lit is that CBD? And era is that little bit of you know It's no, no, it's not THD. It's actually nikotine is bad for me. I need something call trying to be on the jewel, honey, stop the jewel. The jew was like so bad for me.
I was like, because it will hurting my chest. I'm like, okay, there smoking the jew don't don't mess with the ing, right, So I stopped and I started doing like the puffs and the Miley's and it's like lighter on my chest. But like this year, I planned on like putting it because it's not good for me at especially like with the you know, with the music and the singing and stuff like that. It really it drives you out and inside, so you gotta stay like super hydrated all the time.
I'm with the c d D thing, just because you know, sometimes for me, I get up early in the morning. I know you can relate, Laura, y'all. Sometimes if I can't sleep at night, I do take some like I have these c v D candies that I take to help me go to sleep. And then I don't like to take sleeping pills ever, because then I'll still be like groggy and yeah, so I'd like to take things that I'm more natural. So it does help me sleep a lot better. And I try to take it like
two hours. If I know I have a light night, I'll take it like two hours before I go to sleep, so I sleep so good. Just look at it the product and see that it looks like, you know, a joint, and then they just think it's weed and they're just like, oh, that's drugs. But it's just like educate yourself, like learn a little something about what's going on, because it's actually
this medicinal okay, okay, real quickly. And of course you have the television shows too, So I'm like when just black and you have your children, So I'm like, when this black China have time for herself, you know, actually I have time right now out so I mean, like I set it up to whereas though like the days, um, you know, I have my babies the same days and then they go with their fathers like the same days soon, so they have three days and I have the four
days here with me. So we like split it up evenly so and like with within that time, and I do it like during the week the week day, you know, the end of the weekday, because I still have to get stuff done too, and it's like school days. But I mean it works out like perfectly as far as like co parents and and whatnot, and then nuts really just it so like these days is like my chill days and showing at the house or um, if I have to like go and run errands. I'll do that
right now. I'll like, you know, I'll do that while they're with their dads and stuff. So it's like a really good balance for me. Really, So how did the trade offs go now? Because I know there was a little bit of issues at some point in time with pretty much both of your situations. So is it like do you have somebody that intervenes that's in between or this Like everything's good now and it's kind of just
like yeall have I understand. I mean, like on my side, like if anybody knows me, I don't bring like no drama to nobody. I don't be bothering nobody at all, you know what I mean. And it's unfortunate that we didn't have to go through certain things in the public eye, which I feel as though it was like not like healthy like for the kids, especially like when they get older and whatnot, because I just don't like that type
of stuff and then it's not safe. But um, as far as like the drop off and things like that, basically like through the nannies and whatnot. But yeah, like most of the time, I just keep like I don't never I don't put none of that stuff out on
the internet. It do not be me or like you know, like certain blogs like websites and things like that will go and search like public records and try to pull yourself and put it on the internet and then just like blasted to the world, which kind of like, I mean, I'm used to it now, but it kind of it annoys me when it comes to my kids, like, just don't do it and just stop it. You might be one of the only people that's gonna go up against the Kardashians and the genders and win too, because we
see you gotta go to court. But that's good because I think a lot of times things happen and you're like, man, I can't win this battle. I'm not even going bither. I meant to let it go. I'm just gonna let it slide. But you're not doing that, and I know that takes a lot though mentally too, yeah, I feel like right as right and wrong is wrong, you know what I mean, And it's just it is what it is. Like I have like no negative energy like towards nobody.
I really don't have time, but I just want like my fair trial in November of this year, which I got. So that's just kind of like where I'm at with it. And I still don't have no problems with nobody at all, like literally like nobody. So when do you have time? When do you have time to date? Now that's what you call them, right, I'm actually like dating somebody right now. It's been like um, scoring on seven months now, a little twin, and like it's been like it's been doing
really good for me. You know, people that I have like dated in the past, it was just like it is what it is type of situation. But if you can find somebody like up lift you and like make your spirit go, like make you happy and too nice as a person, like that's fired, you know what I mean.
That's and I feel like even just like with people coming and like stuff underneath my posts and things like that, like China, like I see you really like happy, and I'm like thanks, guys, like I really am, you know, because people can say like you're happy, but you're really not happy like happy with like things that's going on. But if you like anybody else like you have like the other stuff that goes on, and sometimes that stuff
feel like project through like your aura, you know. So I feel like, you know, just now, like this year, in the past last few months, I've been like projecting like just happiness. You know, how does that affect the music then? Because you know, I like when we have pigs about guys and everything. It's fun because they do it to us all the time. But now that you're happy,
how does that affect the signs? Oh? Yeah, No, I'll never let I never let business intertwined with the funds and the pleasures, like I keep always keep like all that stuff separate. I guess easy for me. Hey, she's still gonna be talking her right. But I feel like when people found out you were in a relationship, they kind of came for him a little bit and started talking about his sexuality or somebody tried to act like
they were in a relationship with him. Do you feel like every time you come out with relationship, somebody always has something to say about that person. Yeah, And that was so false and like, I do want to clear
that up. That's super annoying. And then he even went the person you know how, I even went to they to say that I knew him, and I'm like, all right, this is like oh deep, And you know what you do have people that's like mentally like ill and mentally sick, and like mental health is like really like a real thing, you know what I mean. And if you have anybody that's in your family and things like that, like check on them and make sure that they're okay, because like
it's a real thing. But um, I mean as far as like people chiming in on like my relationships and stuff, I really it doesn't really bother me long as I'm happy. And then if it's not true, it doesn't bother me, you know what I mean. If it was true, then they would bother other means. But other than that, like they talk about Jesus Christ, I don't really care, you know what I mean, Like I don't want to hear it. And what's that it's all false? What's it like dating
black China? Like, what are you like in a relationship? I know we see only what we see on social media, but I know people always say guys like crazy girls or you know, guys like that, and you've said it, you know in music too, so you think that's true. I mean I mean no, I mean, nobody likes anybody that's crazy. That's just SUSSI as toxic. But like as far as me, I'm chill. I'm a tourist, So like we're like laid back, were chill. We like to eat,
we like to cook. We're just like stable like creatures, you know what I mean. Like I like to like figure out things and just have everything like organized and just kind of like planned out, you know what I mean. Like that really like makes me happy. That's really it. I think we've all gone through phases that when we were younger, when we were acting a little crazy in our relationships. I have to say, every single one of us is like something that you are supposed to outgrow
at some point. Yeah, I mean, and I feel like if if somebody think that you're acting crazy, maybe they're the person that's bringing it. They're bringing that person out. Nobody's just gonna just jump up and be like I'm gonna do something crazy and now that's nuts, right, that's crazy? Oh God, emergency, Yeah you know what that is. It's actually that's actually one of my business partners. I'm wondering if this is the call that I think about to get.
But I just started on my own cooking show, Cooking with Black China. Yeah, so I'm excited. About that, like really excited. I'm like, I wonder if that's the call man, can you you want to text them to We can't announce it now. Yeah, yeah, go ahead, get good idea, Like go ahead and right, I know, I know my f in the process. Then we could do a deli on toasting. Yeah, like you know what's happening to me? I had this thing on my phone to shopify apps.
So every time somebody buys something at the store and Detroit, it goes off, it goes so you're getting yes, it'd be like to chang cheers, cheers. Okay, Okay, wasn't He's not talking about things actually telling me about a photo shoot that like we're about to do actually for Esquire. So that's still like okay, that's let that's fine. Listen, how many people are on your team because it's a lot like there's a Black China empire, so how many
how many people are on this Black China team? Just me gin, you got a business and I mean you got your business partner and certain you've got so many different things going on, assistance, makeup artists, all that. I mean, yes, I call have black people that I called to do it. But I'm doing everything. M do you not trust? Do you not trust people to hand? Like? Could you trust somebody to really oversee things for you? Yes? I could, like, but you know what I fell people don't be as
serious and take your business as seriousness. And while I let somebody mess up my business, it's not gonna happen. I already have to deal with other things. And in the way I set up like certain things, I'm able to like oversee and make sure things is fine. And then assistance that's just it's just to like assistue. You
get what I'm saying. So that's like and that's still once again being you know, like you know, a boss, so you have like tasks and things that I that I set up for them um to do like throughout the week, and then they get it done. And then that's just how that is. But as far as like somebody, no, no, it's not happening, I'm not. I'm not. I'm not opposed to it though, not at all, but I just don't see it right now, especially like if I already set
up everything myself so smoothly. But I will definitely like take into consideration if somebody was like on top of the stuff, and I could visit physically and even like on the back end see everything, then I then I
would do it. I would have to see it. But like as far as like my e commerce, my photo shoots, Last Cosmetics, Black China Closet, cooking, you know what I mean, I have my partner with the Cooking Show obviously, and then as far as my music, I set on my own studio, so I make my own times for that, and then I have my engineer and my producer Tito, and I just uh create music. Actually just started putting out my own music. So I have like my own label that I started too. So I'm just doing like
at least setting up my foundation too. Whereas though if somebody you know what I mean that could put me in a better position comes along, at least already have my foundation set up. It's not like I'm just coming like hey this, like you know what I mean. So it's like the foundation already be set up to whereas though, Okay, if things don't work out, then I won't lose everything. I could go back to my own stuff, you know
what I mean. I feel like a lot of people should kind of like just take those proper steps to like boot your own foundation, and so things don't work out with somebody, which is not a bad thing. It happens all the time that you have something to fall back on. I agree with that. I always tell people, nobody cares about your business more than you do, right,
They don't know, it's a fact. And just you know, I think throughout the years and things I've been through, like it equip me for like the things that I'm doing now, you know. And it's funny because they say, like the things that you're doing today is gonna like really dictate like what you're gonna be doing in three, four,
five years, which is true. So it's like even if you start taking the small steps to like trying to figure out what is that you want to do, ultimately, like within that time period, everything should be able to like grow and stack and then you should be able to like start living out like your dreams are, like your passions or whatever it is that you're like into at that time. I like that. I feel like you learned that most from your mistakes too, And I'm glad
I made a lot of them earlier on. Yeah, when you make those mistakes early on, and you're like Okay, I am never doing that again. I learned from this. I know not to do that, and that really helps you so that when it's time to really do something bigger, at least when you did the smaller things, you're like, okay, I got like my own ideas and my own foundations
said that. But I also do feel like we could be a lot more productive if we left certain things for other people to handle and we just oversee it, because a lot of it is also delegating responsibility, because I feel like sometimes I'm running around doing so many different things myself that it would be great if someone else could help out with those things, you know what I mean. Yeah, So, like that's the difference like a
manager and then assistant, you know what I mean? That's what that's what you call in like the assistance, even if you probably even need them, like five days after week, Hey are you know? Um you could come on Mondays and Thursdays for like Monday, Wednesday, Monday Wednesday, Friday or something like that depends on like what you have to like handle. So I'm your boyfriend help you in that situation? Like does he ever tried to help assist you or stuff?
When you're like doing photo shoots and stuff like that.
Oh yeah for sure, yeah, yep, yep yeah. And he does music too, so like that right there is like interesting also too, like when somebody like shares like common thing a common thing with you, it just makes it even far so you can like understand certain things more and a lot of people like why don't you day somebody's regular and it's like I have before, but it's like it comes like the insecurities, it comes this here comes to you're not making as much money as me,
so like that becomes a problem type of situation or always like it's like never mine. Does he critique your music ever? Like that? Is he ever? Like I don't really like that? Um no, I like shoose me. I ain't gonna lie. I got some fire like and I'm getting better. I'm getting better and better. But yeah, like some of like the lyrics like I don't think that's I don't know, and like we actually make it like better. I feel like that critique he is music too? Like
that's hard or does he him? So It's like it's a good balance because that gets a little touchy when somebody close to you critiques your stuff. Sometimes in mind, I'm an artist and I'm sensitive about my life. I know, know, like even when I even when I do my music now, like I had my friends come over here, like yo, what y'all think about this? You have to like listen to other people because like just because what you think in your brain sounds that don't like that might not
be good. So like I asked my friends, or like I might look at him like okay, so like keep bombing, or if they'd be like hey that again, I'm like okay, they like that, you know. So what about any dudes that you used to talk to before him? Did you have to tell them like let'sen stop calling me or did you just got them or like how did you cut them off? Or can you still be cool? Yeah? Or that No, I feel like I could still be cool. But it's just like I feel like I'm too grown.
And it's never like no bad like oh I hate her not it's just like hey, yeah, no, it's nothing like negative at all, you know, it's nothing never like negative like with me are like and then like relationships or dating, not even relationships, but like dating people, and
it sucks that. I mean, it's crazy because even before this relationship, I didn't I didn't get nobody for like two years, and it's like something and then I'm like, all right, let me chill out because it's being that, you know, and even if you want to just chill with somebody and you get photographed is just like Jesus Christ, like y'all, y'all regular people are doing the same thing, but y'all just gotta blow with I mean not regular people, but I mean like that's not right, yeah, non celebty
y'all doing the same thing. If not words, how do you manage how do you manage to lock you in so that you guys wearing a committed relationship shoot just like being himself really and then just like more like act like actions and just like super laid back and like helping and like encarriaging and um, just the way how he treat people and treat me and treat his mom and his family and things like that. That's like
really important. You gotta see like how the person that you dat and like treats the people surround them around him, because that really is gonna dictate because that person I could be really sweetie, but like nasty to other people and eventually that side is gonna come out, but a little bit later. So I have, like, being in other previous relationships, I knew like the signs were to when to like get out, like art them out, you know what I mean. So like now I'm just like, shoot,
I'm chilling. Does he know how to deal with you when you go through your tempers? Because we've seen some things where you've not been self satisfied, you might kind of go off. So does he know how to calm you down when you are in those moments? I mean, like when I'm in those moments. Honestly, if you really, if anybody knows me, I'm a tourist. I'm gonna go walk off and I'm gonna have my fifteen minutes and
I'm gonna come back and I'm gonna be cool. Now if you like, if I'm like, are give me fifteen minutes or whatever, and you're like, now I gotta say or get out of my face. You know what I'm saying. That's not that's not nice. And then you post that and it makes me like I'm a crazy person. I'm just like, hey, man, chill out, like give my space, giving us face for a minute, like let me maybe
go order some food and come back. And yeah, but no, I don't really begin angry like that because like honestly, anything that bothers me or get on my nerves out of here, right, And it's as simple as that. I'm not like letting people taking me out of my element no more. I'm over that, you know what I mean.
I'm over like trying to please other people too, you know, And I'm just like here just to do my businesses, do my stuff that I need to do, be a good mom, be you me, a good friend, work on my music and my businesses, and then my kids, I said, and then myself too, you know. I mean I'm thirty two, I'll be thirty three in May. Such a baby. Yeah, So I mean that's that's just really like my focus.
Like if anything like throws me off, like my energy, like I'm good, you know what I mean, not just say like that's a bad person or like this isn't a good idea, but it's just not a good idea, like for Angela. So that's just kind of like where I'm at with it these days. Angela as in Black China. Just you know, it's funny, I forget how young you are because your mom, when I was watching the show,
she was like, I'm gonna be fifty. I was like, damn, that's right, Black China is only thirty two years old. And it's like, because you know, we've been hearing about you for so long, we just forget that you're you're
really still young. Oh thank you, thanks guys. Yeah, it's okay, funny because I remember I used to be like, o't I'm eighteen on Next Girl and then when we first met you so young, so crazy, and I mean, it's just it's just nice to like, throughout the years still be cool with like people that you knew a long
time ago. And then even for y'all to like watch the growth, that's like so dope for us, Stevie having this conversation right now, it's just crazy, like what And it's like if you're a good person, like that's just like how to how everything is gonna like turn? You know what I mean, that's true. I did me. I met you so long ago. You had to be a teenager. I remember that, and I remember being in the Bahamas
and everybody, oh my god, every Nicki Minaj autographs. That was the time that was so much fun, so much fun. We gotta do after everything opened up, I'm trying to do another trip. Yeah, we missed those days taking those tas.
I'm down for that. Now. If guys sliding your dm s, because I'm sure they do, right, do you tell your man I don't even you know what if people don't even I mean they might send a heart or something like that, and then it will be all the way down like weird, like I don't even respond to the stuff. But if they do, like but you warn him, like listen this guy that you know, you know, just so you know he did DM me? Or do you just
not say anything? What's the rule? I mean I would I would probably say something like look look at it, look at this. I mean not like that though, but we have like a cool relationship to ards, so like
literally talk about everything. And I think that's another reason to like while I was like okay, like I feel like I feel good and like cough, and it was like with this person, you know what I mean, Because a lot of people they can't, like you can't open up to everybody at all, so like sometimes like and then when you do certain things they can't understand it.
Because you can't be open, but you can't be open with everybody, so then that might that might also to become a problem, you know what I mean, like in a relationship and whatnot. So it's just just I mean, just like for like women to know, don't open up to everybody because they'll take your business and use it against you and people and do stuff to you, like
when things don't work out. So I mean, unless it's been like open it up, then you can maybe open up, but just don't tell like all your secrets and stuff like that to a guy, you know what I mean, unless you know for sure for sure, like you never know for sure, you not you do not. Note how I learned that. I learned that so long ago. That's
one of the first lessons I learned. I had this boyfriend when I had UM when I was just graduated from college, and I remember I was I was working this job and I would tell him everything, like, oh, this happened at work today. I can't stand this bitch, this person did that. And when we broke up, he caught my job and told them all that's just nasty. It's like, and you know what else bothers me, Like
I promise you. I mean, it doesn't bother me, but but but it it's very irking and ner nerve wrecking. I mean, just I think for women in general is when guys kiss and tell us like, oh girl, you know they talk more than we do. It's like yo, because they brand like what's going on today? I've never I've never heard of like such such things. And it's like, that's so thirsty, Like I mean, remember he used to be like girl, girl, nail is all nails. It's like,
what's going on? Got my crazy? Just do that with you the other day. I mean a lot of people have been doing like all types of stuff lately. Album about it? Yeah, oh yeah, he did say he was making a song about it and about a few about a few females. But I think that's I think it's corny as wife. What if it's complimentary though, I don't even damn, that's weird. I like, to this person, so corny, right, you know, I feel you? And you know what else too?
Besides that, have you ever had a guy lie and say that he's been Oh yes, So yeah, that's weird to me, Like who does that? So weird? So weird? I'm like I don't even know this person, like us, Like it happens all the time. I had this one guy that swears that like we're in a relationship, and
I'm like, bro, I don't know you. He'll d M people, That's what I'm telling you, like that mental health stuff is sick, like with d M, like my friends and like, um he's like even my little nephews and like people from the studio, like my wife China, why is she with twins that I just sent her money for the kids. And I'm like, oh no, no, this man, I'm like, no, that's a mental health issue for sure, locked away in the jacket. I'm like, man, at least I know what
he looks like. He's been to come around here. Remember I had that that crazy soccer that kept on everywhere I went, remember, and he swat it at me and him with friends because he was dating you. He was like, yeah, you know my friend Laurio, you know, and my wife Angela. And I'm like, we don't know you. I don't know you, but that but again, that's some mental health issues. And black China. I sew you on the show. You was doing some therapy and it was a little difficult at first,
you weren't really trying to open up. Do you think it did help you at all in the in the long run? You know what? I think as far as like that session, no, to be honest, and then I feel like the way that he like, you know, this was obviously like two years ago when I actually came to see you, like around that time, Like the way he was like coming at me was like, bro, what are you talking about? You know what I mean? At first,
