All right, Oh don let's get this study. I'm sorry we've been talking already, but it's I want I'll be right. How are you gonna do this now? I'm going to get so damn it. Go ahead, all right, we're gonna talk about it. I'm angela yee, I'm Stephanie Santiago, Garl Stevens forty, the best that ever did it and got away with yea, hello, Earl and Tyder here with us. I love it. Let me I got my Earl Steven's man goes got it. And we were forty. We were just talking about your to kill it to your Equara
queler Rid here the best that ever did it? Say from Jliceca mahicolry that because we have to kill a drinkers in this room. Okay, come on, I'll drink it smooth and then I chase it, you know, just with some pellow greeno. You know it's smooth. We're gonna need no chasing nothing. It's just I just prefer some bubbly. He wants a whole. They got right there, too, cheesy. I didn't do it. Wasn't mean I would love the fact that y'all like just to be as tight as
you guys are. For how long that y'all been tightening? To see you guys on versus together and then to put out the album together. I mean that is just historic. It's amazing. Y'all had the most expensive verses in a history. It was not a game fire definitely ull. You do know the the guy who Swiss got to partner up with him Apple Music as a bay Are you do right?
I did because and one of my friends who was one of the sponsors of it, who worked with um Sir Rock and Delian, also is from the Bay Area, My girl Ingrid, so she was super hype about it. Smell I smelled favoritism all over that ship. L Larry Larry Johnson took that thing in like it was his baby.
He was like, man, this is my story, offer to make you this got this gotta jump off man since a little because he's like fourteen A cameo the deep bass voice sounding like THEO, sounding like THEO from U from Cameo back in the day, Remember THEO THEOL moved to l A. Indeed was it? What was it before the real? What was the other one? Not? The beat was the was like Filipino? What everybody thought he was black. Yeah, because he had that deep yes, like the quiet storm voice.
Yeah yeah, yeah, that was Larry. This is Larry Jackson. He had a deep bass voice. You feel me. Now, let me just say a couple of things. First of all, forty now too shorts have been on here before and we had a great time with him. But I would say I did not believe you would ever do lip service. We were talking about it before you got on. I was like, man, Eforty ain't doing this. You know, he cool, but he ain't gonna gonna damn list service what I do?
What what happened? But you're not rock with you? Angela? You know you know it's all It's all up, you know so. But I know y'all get a little raunchy. Y'all know, y'all, hey be cool with me. Respect we'd like to call it respectfully. Raunchy. You've got no problem with being managed man now too short. On the other hand, we have no control over what that man does. Very
managed now. But I don't want to ask you guys, like as far as checking balance, because I know y'all in these group text together, these messages together, like what are those conversations like that we don't get to be privy too behind the scenes, like because y'all when it comes to relationships, I look at you guys, it's like opposite, you know, just because ifort are you being locked in for a long time and too Short, I don't know, hanging out with your granddaddy back in the day. You know,
I'm not. So you're seeing our group conversations and me and too Short are just the group that we're in Mount Westmore, Yeah, like but yeah, well no, no, I mean like on your text messages, you know how we all have our little friends text group messages where we have all kinds of conversations about things and about life and relationships and situation ships and all of that. We talk a lot of logic, a lot of survival tactics,
a lot of chess moves, you know. As far as life, it's like it's like a handbook, like a guide book to life. I've been calling earls since the nineties, and it's like what you got going on? Like what's you know? And and literally I guess it's get detailed as far as like publicists and pr and fucking um you know, how to break records? And ship and then get down to like manhood, what's a bitch ask nigga versus a
stand up nigga, and get down to family ship. Like Earl got a thirty two year old side, I got a two year old daughter. I get a lot of a lot of fatherly advice from Earl. You know, all kind of ship. You know, we don't text them. We text, but we're texting over songs and you know, call me. I'm gonna be I'll be free to fifteen. But like we we pick up the you know old schools picked up the phone and ship right quick. You know what
I'm saying, Just uh and just go at it. But you know, like I said, um me and time, we've been cool. We've been cooler than another side of the pillow for many moons. Man. You know, dude was before me, you know this big bro and I pattern you know my game after him. Like when I was a young teenager, my cousin them used to come down from Oakland to Magazine Street. They come pull up talking about my poldy.
You ain't up with my potting the tide. They didn't even call me forty back then, and I was only fourteen fifteen years old. So they called me earl girl. You ain't cause girl, you ain't up on my potting. The tide too short. I said, let me let me here, Let me here. And so as I grew into my managed this because he was very managed and you know, hardheaded to custom like saying some slicks and you know, talking about a whole bunch of fucking and all that
kind of ship and everything. He's talking about all that ship. But as I became managed more manager, I'm I'm soaking it up. And it didn't take me about two or three weeks to just really soak it all in, you know what I'm saying. And so um, you know he's talking about the street life, you know, the East Oakland life. You know what I'm saying. Just it catered throughout the whole Bay area. And I was like, you know what, I'm a hustler, So this is what I do. I'm
gonna speak on the hustling side of the game. I'm gonna talk about, you know what I'm saying, how to get to get out, you know what I'm saying. I'm gonna talk about how to flip this, how to do this. You know, Uh, make sure you know what I'm saying. We never let nobody sit in the back seat when you understand me doing your duties. You know what I'm saying.
You know that complicit anybody, No, I can California. But if you notice, when it goes comes to the Bay, it's always this rear current thing for Lahol niggas, Oukland niggas, niggas Okland niggas. Valleo is a small town. Oakland is a small town. But the Bay Area has hit the other fucking cities, and I have no idea why is it?
MATC Dred's from Valletol E forty is from Valleyo fucking old school confunction and from fucking Valleo flying the family Stone f Stone and from vale Who fucking young homies, RB them niggas fun Vallehoy Sale. It's a whole bunch of baby bad. You know what I'm saying. CC Sabathia, I ain't trying to really do. I ain't really just in like like Chris Coggles, I love film HB. I
love the niggas. I ain't really trying to this. None of the cities in the Bay, Saint Jose, Richmond, none of them ships for some reason Oakland mc hammer Rod fucking it just goes on and on the fucking forever. I get his name is ship ever and it's like, I don't know. And then when you break it down to like just general friendships in the Bay, the different cities tending to click together. It ain't really like gang banging, but certain cities that get along, like East pala Alto
niggas always got along with Frisco niggas. I don't know film O niggas. I don't know what the connect is, but Oakland niggas and Valleo niggas have always been on the same fucking page, like really like like unified, so to speak. And it's um and it's uh, it's the it's the found nation of our friendship is the fact that before rapp music, friends of his and family members of his, friends of mine and family members of mine,
we're all friends before we misporting in too short. So that's the foundation and just something that got to do with the Oakland Valao. A lot of a lot of dope dealing back in the day, a whole lot of Ship's interesting because I don't know about the different areas in the Bay, like I always just you know, I always hear Oakland, Oakland, the Bay. I don't know how to like break it down like that. And you know I've been there a few times, but I can't tell
like what neighborhood I'm in or who's like. I don't even likes rock with Nework niggas, you know what I'm saying. I don't know who rocks for who in New York, but certain areas from far apart click up to be more powerful. If you if you used to come to my neighborhood the Hills sign, you're gonna see it's gonna be a whole bunch of heells, and it's gonna look like like the South. You're gonna see niggas on horses right down the street. Everything. I love smoking a blunt.
You feel me in real life? You want to see some goats in the backyards and chickens raised, some ship like that. That's why we call ourselves Beverly. Here we heal Billy's. We think it's righting around the corner from Napa Valley. We right around the corner from Napa. That's you know, you star, you go down to normal bulletboard always,
you know, it's straight through shot. You're straight up in Napa Lao and nappers in St. County, right, it's the seven or seven Save it back same Silano County, Slanto County can say Slanto County. Yeah, yeahs and chickens. They're doing sacrifices out there. There's voodoo out there, and we ain't gonna voodle out there now. I'm just kidding. I listen, I ain't gonna lie because they do be having some chickens Brooklyn. But you know, no, people got chickens and
ugling chick chickens. My daddy, my daddy from Mississippi, don't. They don't know nothing about my damn Boudo. And he got chickens you know here. He got guards chickens the whole ding like my daddy because he was raised on the farm. My daddy told him he used to the twelve eggs a day because he can do that. It was, yeah, it was. It was unlimited chickens. You know, eggs. You know what I'm saying. So that's that's being raised here Mississippi. Bo He came to Vallet when he was fourteen and
a half fifteen and backed down. My mama, you had balling ass forty You feel what I'm saying. So, but like I said, no, it's it's just where I'm at the hills side, it's really like it's really country, like it's country motherfucker's. But we gamed up. We ain't no suckers, and yes, then we hustlers. And that's the airs. I grew up on Magazine Street, you know. And um that that go all the way from Glenn Cover was along a street from Glen Cold all the way to South
Valet to suicide. You know what I'm saying now? You know what I wanted to ask you because since you guys, I started off talking about children first of all, too sure you have a two year old? How does that feel? Man? So you know, I'm gonna tell you the long version. We might have had a conversation about this somewhere along
these years. But I spent a lot of my life specifically tuned in doing the things that don't make babies, like during intercourse, like if it was not protected, I would definitely pull out where early, not even like late early, like way early, and just not even like risk the risk of possibilities. And there's you know a lot of a lot of safe safe behavior in there, and then um, relationship wise, I would getting up on the threshold of a relationship and fucking just boat left right, just like
I can't do it. I can't do the the love and the next thing comes is you get so connected like oh baby, I love you, I love you, and then the fucking you know kids, you like that you locked in? So I was always running from being locked in like that. Amendment issues on purpose, though not I don't really think it's because it's a committment issue. It's because I don't want to do it. Is that a difference?
He's trying a couple of times, trust me, trying to be dedicated a couple of a couple of years, A couple of times. I'm on the other side of the fence. Earl married his high school sweetheart. I fucking I'm on what I'm on the other side of the Yeah, educate dynamic of how polar opposite that you two are when it comes to relationships with a couple in so many ways.
Remember remember that, Remember that little television show. When I got to fifty years old, you know, I was like in my forty all the way through my entire forties, I was running around at like some little nigg at every little nigger party, like you know, just like that's funny, even because I met you at Chris Brown's house one song a couple of years ago, that even that long ago. No, it was, it was years ago, it was, it was, it was a minute ago. It was a long song ago.
I didn't start letting my guard down on purpose, though, I really just you know, it wasn't about randomly come running up on chicks going I'm gonna make a baby. It was about coming in contact with the right person and developing a relationship with somebody. I really believe that at this point I could do this with this person, and I don't have any regrets. I really like it like that. I didn't know. I'm happy for you. You
listen last time you came out. Listen. But you did talk about a situation where you thought you might have a baby, and we had a whole time that wasn't my baby, that bad mine, that was totally not mine. She was sending me belly pictures that was not my kid, and said, my bad, my bad, my bad. It was it was just like the situation that happened you told us about about what an abortion situation that you told us about. Well, I went through a feudals as a young guy. Yeah, up until the age of seven, I
was real reckless. I went through a couple of relationships where you know, there was a miscarriage, there was an abortion, and all the way to the end, like the very last abortion, like probably out of three, really fucked me
up in the head. And it was the reason why I no longer had sex the way I was having and I just kind of like changed my hosle steel O. That's right when I moved to Atlanta, and it was like, man, we just I'm just not For one, I'm getting a little older and I'm not as irresponsible as I was in my twenties. And then for two, that experience of
really like seeing abortion up close. I was in the room, I was with my chick when we made a decision, when it happened, and then how it affected her after and just seeing that and with a more mature mine just kind of like I didn't want to be in that position. I don't want to put anybody in that position. I'm like, I'm not going there. And my entire time living in Atlanta, Georgia, super sexually active. Nobody ever called me and said I'm pregnant, but you or came to
me and said that. I never got that. I was totally on my game. And even when I moved back to Cali, I lived in Vegas. I mean I've been I've been out there, but I was just not. I was not trying to make babies. And and I think, um, I think the game. Y'all might not believe in the game like I do, but the game gave me this daughter. Brought to like, it's like that you had a daughter.
The game did that? Man? You know what, I'm sure you're an old player that the games are gonna give you a little boy to make him a young player of the game is like, nope, give me a daughter. And into the world of guys with daughters. Even watching my only sister run my daddy. Who who I've never seen nobody round my daddy. And now I'm like, all these daughters, I'm hearing your storage fat joke some of his daughters. Boss, I'm like, what the fuck am I getting?
I turned out all right, but when I was younger, I already you know you're gonna have to work cut out for you. Yeah, are you scared? Are you nervous? Girl? Uh no, no, no, no, I just think it's all the balance of the game. Like you want to be too short, This is when you get you know what I'm saying, you want to run from and give you this. She's a ficy little girl to like. I already see
it coming. Um, you know what I'm gonna do, right, I'm going to embrace it, and I'm actually going to I'm going to give her all that love I ran away with. I'm gonna give it all to her, all the spoiling I didn't do a x x X ex girlfriend. I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna give it all of her too. So women's women's cool. Yeah, it's good. You're supposed to be soft when it comes to your daughter. Now for you, Eforty, you married your high school sweetheart. You think that kept you out of a lot of
trouble in this business. Yeah, because we you know, we was living off of love. Like you know, I had my ups and downs. I wasn't always well, wealthy rich. I wasn't always like that. We I was a good rich I was, but at the same time I have my ups and downs in there too, you know what I'm saying. And you know when I um, you know, at the beginning, it was like, of course, you know, I'm just a young, a young man, and I see this beautiful girl and I because I was in band.
I played drums and band. Always been involved in music. So from the fourth grade all the way to the tools grade, I played drums because that was the only thing back. And you gotta really you gotta realize I might not look like it, or I might. But I graduated the nineteen eighty five. I was seventeen, you know what I'm saying. So I was, I said, this young lady she in band as well, and she um, you know,
she played the clearinet and we're having band reviews. So my cousin b Legit went to the Saint who she went to in high school. So I one day I was like, I like, always liked her since junior high because she used to be with one of her one of a good friends of ours that went to church to my granddaddy was a preacher. So when we was kids, it was one of one of um one of our friends that was her friend. And I'm like, oh, she's
always with Tiffany. That's our folks, you know. And I'm like, okay, but I say, uh, this girl right here, she's a beautiful lady, and uh, I'm gonna have at her, you know what I'm saying. And so I told be Legit, I say, man, tell home girl, I like kerr blood. You know what. By the way, okay, so you know we we you know, and you're right to answer your question seriously because I'm not gonna try to act like
I'm super hardcore that's killing nigga. But I was a street I'm a street nigga in my my my my heart and my spirit is on magazine street in the Hillside and Vallea. I might stay in the suburbs now, but you know, you can't take the ghether out the nigga. You know what I'm saying. You might take a nigga out to get U, but not to get out the nigga. And I'm a nigger, you know. So you're just to
say this, nah man. She definitely kept me out of trouble because I was I had a good girl and I was I ain't know dummy, Like I can draw pretty good. So I always say you look like somebody drew you. You know what I'm saying. That's why I said you're so beautiful. You look like you the Pizzo used to always tell me my old school d J Pzo short. He used always say, Babe, that baby, you say that about any girl always playing Domino is doing the show. And I was about the um. I was
getting tired of the Domino game. I was about to go chasing brons and go after party and whatever the funk it was. And it was like he was like, man, I wouldn't fucking tease bitches out of here. Man I might say what's up to a bit of you might not even been saying bitch or whatever it was. He was like, nigga, ain't I remember I left my sister
nigger girls crazy. I'm cool because I was like, okay, chickens, and I had I had and I had this had this beautiful lady, my queen have been playing around on me or something like that. I've been understand me moving around a different ship like that and causing me problems in my life and ship like that. She would have been eighty six. You know what I'm saying. I mean, just like too short of fucking dog asshole because I'm
a Scorpio and I love and I love Crevice. I'm gonna keep it one thout Will, I would say, don't figure out a lot. I love that I just got. This is a wonderful woman that I don't want to ever leave. Yeah, I mean it. It feels mutual about the situation, and if it wasn't for her, I would probably won't be why I'm at I'm gon keeping one thout Will because she kept me grounded. You know what
I'm saying. I'm in the house writing raps. My brother and them, they always say it, they say, man, we all you know we was hardheaded, you know what I'm saying. We were sitting around chasing chasing that crevice and we should have been you understanding me. We should have been in there writing wraps and concentrating on our business. Like you. That's why you buy passed us and that's why you nig it. You know, they always kill me even this, like, man, we h we realized I after the fact that we
let me let the girls get away. Man Like now it's like cool and hip hop to be in a relationship. But there was a period of time when it wasn't cool, like they would be like, if you're an artist, you gotta act like you single because then it's cool now because your your chicken. You could be on a love and hip hop and get a bag together, or you could be like, you know, once you make her, you know, her numbers run up, just like your numbers run up.
So it isn't it's the right way, It's the right light, you know. I figured. I figured, you know, this temper the girl when they find out that that I'm married, Like people be like like if me and if I post a picture with me a wife, you know what I'm saying, they'd be like, damn, I didn't know he was married. You know what I'm saying. Because the way I wrapped, I wrapped, I wrapped raunchy, I wrapped just nasties. This niked like this. I say, some nasty ship. I
say hard headed ship. You know. But you gotta always remember that I am a storyteller. Um, I'm a you know, I'm an artist, and that's what we do. We we deliver. We are I'm the curb commentator. I'm not you know saying me, I'm I'm this is the blockbro shure, right, here. This is the hustler's handbook. This is me. This is I screaming like I mean, and I'm just I'm talking for other people. You understand me. I'm painting that. But are you as nasty as you are in your raps
in real life with your wife? I told you I'm a scorpio. Okay, okay, like enough, that's all you got to say. And I love Crimmins said say, y'all, I look with pussy nick, I just go out the hallway. Yeah yeah, I say, you be on the proud I think it's on the prod every night, nigger. I could just go right down the hallway and walk up the steps, nigg And I'm good, you know what I'm saying. And I gotta worry about no other ship. I gotta worry
about no more the narrow eases. I gotta worry about no motherfucking I gotta worry about a bit trying to get me from my for my for my roulex on my you know what I'm seeing my ape like this ship mate, you know, not too short? Were you ever a bad influence? Like come on, man, I'm the guy. I'm not gonna say. Earl can't be influence. He's always been a bust But I'm the guy who at first you tell your chick, I'm I'm about to bust the
moves with Short. They're doing things on busting movement, bust moves. All right, go, I'll have fun with Short. Then I end up being a guy. When you said your chick, I'm about the bust movies, Short, she can hella mad at you, like when you come back from busting movies. Short, it's all fucked up, Like the Wise Girl and me
and Ship. I'm the guy who gets you first, and you just you gets you like too Short, ain't gonna sucking too Short, You ain't gonna have the more home for you to come home to shoot hanging out with him like that because you know she never because she trust me. She you know, ain't gonna nothing. You just be in the wrong place, you know what I'm saying. No, we don't. We don't go and then go ahead restaurants
and club. We don't move like that. We moved like our crewise like moved together when it's like a money play, which is a lot of times. We do so many shows. We're in Vegas and we'll be in Detroit we in Vegas wherever we had, we all moved together. We all wanted it's open, you know what I'm saying. That's how we were all go back and see how many shows too short and forty was on the side count. Yeah,
I'll be like, I'll be like too short. I say, nigga, you need to headline this, nigga, because we we'll be going back like some chokes our headline. So I'm here to headline me and he don't give a funk about headline. That's what the little niggas need to learn as they go along. So I partner at what they do. Like forty, This dudes my local competition, not just local, just we're on the same label. But we could find in each
other like advice, criticism, everything. But in the long run, when we when you look back at it, and as we speak, when money comes into play, I could I could be somewhere getting ready to get about twenty racks. I say, you want to give me Andy forty. Now, the ship just went up to another ten in my pocket because it's both of us, and the whole ship
gets bigger. So we go get a bigger bag when we're together, and and on top of that, so many motherfucker's called my line that say I want to do something, which can I can? I can I get forty two? Bamn vice versa and years nigga forty throwing the nigga like dollar passes like nigga just recently. Now that's a friendship, Okay, can you throw me? Got a bag out of us? Like it's like a bag that cut me? You away that you really don't want to say. You shoot it
down to your folks. It might be time and you might be double booked, you know what I mean. You might just not want to do it, be like my nigga might want to do it. I'm like, ship you, I wanta do it like all my friends. Is useful. That's what I'm talking about. So the now Westmore album, let's talk about that and how that even came about and how that's happening. Tell us a little bit of inside school. Yeah, so here it is. So I was
talking to my manager. So my manager, he was fifteen and a half when I stayed in the Rancho Silano, uh in out there in Fairfield. I had a house on the suburb's golf course. Uh you know, gated community all that ship and like nine three right, and so he his dad stayed in that neighborhood, so I would
see him slide past in elections. I had. I had a like a turk course Alexus three hunting at them at that time, branch banking new, brand new, fresh after, you know the whole that was the ship back then, you know what I'm saying. And so he had one, but he had Alexis three hunting. I had Alexis fox hunt And so I see, I said, who this little nagy pass up? But kick pass up by my house? Right, you know what I'm saying, Like Mexican and white mix, right,
And so I'm like a little bit. But see I've seen him before because he used to be with my folks, Mike Mike Moseley and you instand me. He used to work at the Funky Chicken with local Look record store, and he knew all my partners. He knew almost high my nigga r I p almost high. So anyway, making long story short, fast forward, and this dude would always show up at places. You know, a big fan him and a couple more of my folks they pop up, and this observed the game. So R J. Was real.
Sure you might not noticed r J. You can't get him to stop talking now, But that nigga used to be quiet as hell. He was like a fly on the wall and just peeping peep in the game. So he learned the game. So later on in life, you know what I'm saying, My old manager was a big row. I still love him. Chat heys. He had other things he was getting into. So just became like a road manager. Then he became my full flesh manager. He started learning that ship. So as of recently he had came up.
We were just chopping it up early in the morning and he was like, man, you might as well you know what you might as want to do. You might as well you snoop Cuban short. Yeah, y'all probably need to just put a group together. I say, nigga. A lightbulb popped in my head, like, Nigga, that's it right there, nigga. Hell yeah, So Dan I called. I said, let me I say, all right, I say, I say, our jis
I'm gonna call. I'm gonna call Qube first, because you know Cube, you know, he was stubborn one, you know, out of all of us, Right, So I said let me call Cube right, so called cube. Q was like hell, yeah, you know cute crazy he just yeah, he just uh. Then he was thinking, I'm like with name and then he he just mount Westmore. He just came up and I'm not he just now west keep a smile. You we can't even smile. That's our folks. It's a big movie. But he's doing it now. I can't recall him smiling.
He did that. That's serious. Google smiling and see if anything, you can see him smiling now because people a big actor and you know that's probably pictures of it, you know in the prize did you see? Yeah, but I can see him being really serious in business. Yeah, he'd be serious about the business. He'd be serious about the business. Though. Oh my's so funny because it's on pinters. Look at this, it's a smiling ice cube. Yeah, that's what I'm sharing
from the movie. Yeah, family Christmas movie or whatever, you know, Bred carpet. Yeah. And so then so I cast you. I called short and then I think you do me and you called tough. I just we called him on three day, call me on. They'll both on the phone. Okay, me and you cast your and he he was with it, me and q cart short on three way and then I believe we put Snoop on the phone and then we and there was it was it was born. Started a group text and Snoop said he'd been saving a transfer.
My my phone crashed. Halfway through, the group takes start all over. Yea, that ship. That ship reads like a motherfucking movie. The group texts is it goes to a lot of phases. But because we're on there talking and were on their since like when Snoop talking out of y'all know how Snoop get down. He's in a video of him talking to you. Yeah, uh know, he'd make a video of himself and he's yeah, yeah, yeah, he has say, man the video back, video back, and then didn't And I do it too. I chime in, I
might be in my bed. You said to see the head bed and the head the board and I'm in the motherfucker no glasses on, just like yeah, nig, that's just slap. You know, we just the middle of the night ideas and ship man. You know what I'm thinking, Man run that ship. He'd being there to take care of his daughter. However in his hand, you know, we're
just showing all that ship. We just chugging it up. Yeah, that's a good idea because for a documentary, if y'are just sending videos back and forth, and then when you do the documentary, you're able to have some of that. Yeah, you guys got a clip stops. I like the um. Once we got the ship going down, once it was like solid, everything was going down, and we started actually recording music, which was happening really really fucking fast, because everybody only got to do one versus ship. I mean
it was making a song every day. He bored in a song to day and then um, it didn't ever really it was never really like, oh, let's be a group, let's put out an album, let's make a motherfucking uh put together a tour. It was never that. From day one, it was like, let's join forces and start like a bunch of businesses. How many businesses could you start if all four of us was an entity. They don't got nothing to do with the other thing you've got going on?
What can we do? And that's when this ship started, and the ship like we didn't even put a record out yet, and then there's so much in the kiddy already. I'm like, like it's it's amazing. I really don't want to I really don't want to do this for me.
I don't know what everybody else's motivation is. I just want to do this for another fucking hip hop story of another way, that way without a fucking label or a fucking puppet on owning you and that and just and just one of these fucking hip hop stories that it's just you could take the model and somebody else could use the same model and be the same successful that part. And so you know, we we do got
plans for this ship. We do when when outside open up, just imagine the arenas you understand me that you know we we have packed him just us for period the US four for sure. You know whether whoever opened me if I'm open, I don't mind. I'm talking that I opened up and I had a motherfucker popping right. I got this old nigga got slaps. You feel me like going? You know, two shows together, oh them dance moves, man, but we might put put together show. We just do
a show. It just one long that show you can come out and see us and the show just being three hour show. Now stop. But we need to be great for festivals, like especially because when it's festival season and things that open back up festival and that's the big money to the festival days. Rolling loud, I'm gonna all that. I'm I'm tired of clubs. I work. I'll paid my dudes for years. I'm tired of holding the
wall clubs. Ain't trying to act big headed, it's just it's just it's just I worked my way up to the top. You know, don't know. I don't know when the last time I did a club I'm talking about. I don't recall. I'm just cool. I'm just cool on that ship is nerve racking. It's just I'm cool. I need to be in a r I need a green room and I need my own you know what I'm saying. I need the whole. I'm done with all that shit, but you deserve it. And like I do, not miss
a club. They're they're open, some of them are open. Have you gone out edge to the club now? I have not been to a club at all. I don't mind allowed or restaurant, but I don't really care about going to a club. Let me tell you. Let me tell you. By the club. Let me tell the clubs did to me. It became from used to be so fun in the v I P. Kicking it with your folks too, my nigga, folks, me my nig to the hell of other niggas just trying to get in the
v i P crowd. Yeah, now you like this. And if you say my nigga is full of you got a problem with the nigga outside. I've been shooting up for a long time to v IP be more crowded than the regular regular parts. I'm saying that all the time. I don't nobody doing nobody dance no more anywhere. Everybody just it's all for the ground and how they do with the elbow dancing, you know, and all that to the phone. The phone sucked it up. And let me
tell you something. So when I've been going to like, I go to a lot of comedy shows as a matter of fact, when you guys are doing the verses. I was in Austin at Dave Chappelle's comedy show and we were actually watching it backstage, like in between the comedians because it went on and on and on, and so we was backstage every time we could get a chance like being like, Okay, what's happening now, what's happening now?
Watching them versus battle. But you can't really have your phones out at comedy shows, you know how they make you like zigging, they making something like that, Like you'd be like, damn, I'm doing now. I guess I gotta like pay attention. I guess I gotta have a good time with the people I'm with and not be using my phone. President That's like my favorite part about going to commy show. They made you put your phone away so you're not looking at it through the phone. Everybody
wants to look at concerts through their camera lens. Now. I think it's so weird, and I love hanging out. I love hanging out. I just reminisced on the days when dudes were not allowed to take selfies. They weren't allowed the thing, and then dudes was all the way off limits for ever walking up to another dude and say, hey, man, let's take a picture together. If you was like you could, if you vote enough to say take a picture with me, somebody else better take it. Now, niggas is like staying
by me while I hold my phone. You are against the rules. Nigga. You know, you don't even ask you with the phone and then just start filming you like, yo, yo, stay, what's up to start? I hate when motherfucker's just around and you you know it's been It's been times I've been around people been around me and they just flip their phone out and just start going live. I'm like, I ain't got nothing to hide, my naga, but you know what I mean, I might have. I might have
to blow my nose or something. Motherfucker might think they get me blowing my nose. You understand me thinking I'm gonna gonna blow or something like I said, You know I was worse lives on the worst if they just go live on you, or if you look over it and it's that little one person and you don't even know they got a sneaky sneak. Oh yeah, but they
both them worse. That's worse. I think sound they do that ship all the time at the airport and ship they can't let us down, but they can't let you here that you can't read last snow more, you can't be human. You can like I'm like, man, fun all these motherfucker's Man, I'm gonna be human. I'm gonna be me. It is what it is like if I got scratched my back, if my back itches, then I'm gonna get up against the edge of a door or something. I'm gonna go like you feel me? You like like a
dance move. I like it like yeah, by scribe a little bit, a little bit on that. That motherfucking mangoes is not that strong. Yeah, you know it's younger than your advo moscato. Okay, you I want to track the secret. It's like it's kind of like it's kind of like with um, you know the Kentucky Fried chicken recipe is at non I like it on this earth? Hello? What is the sixteen different seasonings? My got different on all kinds of different properties and compone that's in it? Man?
You feel me? Rescue man, I gotta kill you. Man, you feel me? Did anybody see that Colonel Sanders lifetime thing that looked crazy? Did you see that? It's like the murder or whatever, someone's going to kill him. I don't know what I want to see that the chef so yes, it was the strangest thing. I don't know what it was about, but it was like the strangest thing I've ever seen. So Sander, the white Colonel Sanders, the white colonel Sanders. Hold on, I mean Kentucky Fried
Chicken ship. They had a they had a black black woman somewhere in the background. They made that rescie you know that. I like. I like KFC. Everybody be hyping popeyees. I still like when it's done right, kids, Exactly, a good CANFC restaurant is banging. Now they got them. They got like a real KFC's not you know, it's a bad half sea. When it's like half KFC half Taco Bell. Yeah, that's no good. I got a Kentucky Fried Chicken that's not ride. Yeah, that's right. When they dropped the words,
I'm like, I don't even know. They not really chicken. That apple pie is unmatched. I want the damn it. Yeah, I don't know what y'all eating, Okay, I just want to say that. Let me ask you, Angela, No, I'm not you eat birds? Yeah, something chicken. I called my super I called myself. You know, I'm the good with the spoon, right, I don't even post the ship. I don't feel like hearing motherfucker's man for man, you know, you know you're supposed to be eating no pork. But
I called myself living my child. I mean too, man, I made some mother fucking pit feet the other day, Bronte checks out. I did it. I did it, and when I but I ate it and it was hella good. I already had like talking about three little little school three little look like that much right, but look, check game the rest of it. I threw it out because I'm like, cause, don't nobody in my house eat pork? You know what, like, huh, look like a foot? What
did you eat? I had him chopping up, like chopping up, and you know pieces like that had the yeah, and I wasn't like that. I had the butcher, you know, chopping up. So look, look check game. The thing is, I grew up on that. I grew up on motherfucking oxtails. And you understand me, neck bones, and you know what I said, I'm just I grew up. There's a lot of soy on motherfucker's you ain't that soyoga? You up at the soy on nega? Because I'm I saw your nigga.
What'm talking about all of the niggers, all of said don't eat chidlers? Nigger. They ain't super soil nigger sout. Didn't come from a chiling household. Nigga okay, okay, okay. I come from a mama who grew up eating chiles, who despised it and was like, I've never let my kids eat this. That's that's that's. My mama made me
something last year and I fucked your motherfucker's up. My mama was a little girl who had to eat Chileans and didn't like it, and she was like, my d you know the story, so you know the slave masters used to make motherfucker's eat The scratch from the pig just did me. Later on, that ship became a delicacy. They fucked up. They made that ship the delicacy. Childlers. Every part from the router to the two you ever heard of that, every part of the mother pig, every part.
But I like a child, I'm not my poor child. I love it. I love me so pork talk. I'll make them good to I made some good don't tell me I would never stop eating pepper only pizza. Part. I'm from New York, and I think that's a real New York thing. Like a lot of people in New York don't eat pork. I grew up not eating pork, and then I worked for Woutang, and Woutang they do not play that pork stuff. They don't even have food that has no type of pork products to make the food.
They used to be a lot of a lot of East Coast. You know a lot of my Muslims and there and one of my rhymes. I say nothing against the Muslims, but I was raised eating swine. You know, I said some ship like that, you know, one of my rights back of the days. But I understand, and you know pork ain't good for you because you know I ain't got the the ship cain't sweat. It don't got nowhere to you know, it doesn't have nothing to wait. The waste don't go nowhere. It stays e But why
is that ship so fun good? Because it's we have to eat it. Our ancestors ate that ship. The save eat and everything in moderation. Everything in moderation did it fast. And when you do it fast, I fasted for two weeks. I didn't eat nothing. All I had was they gave me these jobs that had vitamins in it. And then I had coconut water. That and regular water. That was
all I could have for two weeks. When I tell you that would change your whole entire taste buds so that a certain things just taste like I can't eat that anymore because it really makes you feel like I could enturing soda anymore. After that, like there was a lot of things. I love desserts. It made me stop eating certain things that made me eat less. A lot of times our life is centered around food, like where
are we going to eat? Let's go to eat. And it did really really help me a lot as far as like discerning what wasn't so good for me and some things just tasted like why did I eat this? It was too strong? And it helps like reset your whole entire like sis down and it gives your body a chance to stop having to break down food. So I let you get strong again because your body is always working to break down all this food that you have.
So it really helped me a lot. But let me tell you know, I drink a lot of cold press juices. You know, kale, spinach, broccoli, carrots, Uh, you understand me, lemon apple, I'll let them. You know what I'm saying they got them. You know they got the ones right now. You know it's cold press they got. Uh you can do it with you. You can break it down your self, you know, and all that ship with the bullet and uh,
you know all of the blenders they got now. But um also But at the same time, and you absolutely right, because I have a fast a couple of days and I like to eat. Man, I'm gonna meat kind of sewer. It don't have to be poork. I don't really. I don't even eat pork like I eat bacon probably probably six times out of the year. It's like the smell of bacon. You can be fool as a motherfucker. You could just ate a nice, good meal, a powerful meal. You smell it down bacon, you're gonna want to eat again.
The smell of chicks out the same. It's no chilling chilling at. I don't even eat chillings like I used to lost me that I eat chillings once a year when it's done right, if it's done right. But I ain't, Yeah, I haven't. I know you'll about I want to leave you guy, yea when we talk about diet and food, trust me, whatever you put in your body comes back out, and guys taste way better when they'd be having vegetables
and fruit. I agree, you know what I'm saying. I don't want to know chiling dick, Okay, I don't want to take head. It's some females out there. It's some females out there that well. I was at one time. I'm at um Papados. I was in Papados and I'm at the boar. I like to get it. I like to say, at the bar so I can see everything. I like to sit right at the bar so I don't have to be have mo fucker's bringing my drinks. I had a bar and to make it right there in front of me, the whole wa So it was
a young lady. She sat right by me. She was from She was from out there. She was I think I was in Houston, my man. She she she ordered, she put her a little order in nextually you know, it's a plate of frog legs, right, check this out, fried frog legs. And she my negg and she was over there fucking their motherfucker's up every bit of it to the bone. He wasn't knowing, She wasn't know like she wasn't no slove as broad and none of that ship.
She was just like a regular broad, just cool, and she was mind a bit and she sucked him up up because she was raised that way. You know. I don't funk with chillings like that. Like I probably ate chillings in the last motherfucker fifteen years, probably three or four times. Legs like that, huh like that? And I've never never ate frog legs in my life. She was sucking it up. Now the alligator fried alligator at Poppa Does like it was like I didn't have grill to
alligator right off the grill, right out the sucking water. Yeah, I never had that. I had fried frieda get the Poppa Does. You can't be with me this. I know forty can't agree to this, but you can't admit sometimes women taste different depending on what they eat. You could taste it. I don't know it was a diet though. I just thought it was bad choices, right. You are literally with literally, I believe that you are what you eat.
Sometimes people sweat, and they sweat the funkier because of the stuff that they eat, you know what I'm saying. So I just think about that if it's like that coming out. It's like scott on mango, Scottle tastes amazing, I promise you. Well, let's seen y'all with myself. I've always been on a nice balanced diet of food, good energy, as well as good company around you and you know,
just just the beautiful things of nature. I'm into this other thing about the flow of the energy and kind of you know, not not really thinking about the time and times getting the way I'm getting older. I'm just feeling the same way I felt yesterday last weekend before just you know, anything about too short. We went to oconomic ocon now was Japan? Who were at Yeah, yeah, we was out there right, so this nigga too short, right, Just don't let this nigga fool you. Man. Hey, we
we look checks out. We we we we we we were staying were on the military base. We stayed on the military base. Spotless military the ship, the rules was everything, the whole city spotless everything there. Man, they was out there doing an exercise of the ship that they did some ship with the pole and then his legs okay, held he could the pole. His legs was up. You know the ship that cann it be doing look the pole.
A boar, okay, a boar like a boar, like an exercise it was he was doing with the military, guys. You know you know what I'm saying, that motherfucker like short legs. Here's the bar, short legs out like yeah, like Nick cannedy doing. Yeah, the military, the exercise. I just jumped up there and then and then like tenda what they was doing with it. He was athletic. We come on the morning and put you up. Don't let him fool you. You You can see him, look at his arms.
I don't know that I was. I was a little nigger. I was five too. When I was eighteen. I was five too. My nineteen birthday. I'm like five eight man, I'm like how I'm like I grew when I grew Right after my nineteen birthday, I was always at I don't have nigged up. That's funny. But he look. I don't know if I told you this before, but if any part of me was like too short, I would not let anybody call me that. I would have fought to the depth out of everybody asked, who said, you
know too short? I've gotta been fighting words. Yeah, you have to embrace it. Yeah, I just I was just a little ass nigga. It was a nigger name Shorty that went to my high school. And the nigga was taller than me. And you was always first that my name was short. They called him shorty, and it's called me short And like they said, we came and come with a name for you, niget shorter than shorter women are taller than you. Huh will you date women that
are taller than you? Man? I look how I love Whenden. What are you talking about? I'm like, all the same issue for something. Short guys, you've seen it all. We're all the same height to land sideways, that's not true, definitely, And I'm look, I'm five ten. I'm reason I'm saying is I'm not tent to if you stall me, we're gonna tell when we lay there. Of the I dated a stripper in Las Vegas too, was the tallest girl
in her club. She was literally like six four on heels by like six like she was just solid, just hella taller than me so that you can't even do it, like an awkward moment. But then I figured out all this little ship, like I had this little booster thing because she was like taller like this little um. It was like like a little stool I had in the room and get up on that stool. They would be just the right. She was like a little nigga. You
get down to do That's different. That's different because some people they don't know their boundaries, they don't know the bean and say, you know, let's add some equipment into this, let's make it a little more equal. I think if making love is like a fucking job, like I'm like, this is I'm pushing, I'm working up in his mother. I don't know what I be. A lot of elements that make it work too, not just the side of
a woman. A woman could be like wanting you to do something special, Put me right here and hold her right there, be like this is like fucking like yo dot some ship. We're just talking about that, like trying to hold can't hold I can't hold it no more so standing up. She'd just be standing up and you just standing there and eat her outst I was talking mangoes, mango, manganja, mango would make you want to tangle girl ste mangostattle man don't know about me, She don't know about me personally,
but references. I know some reference tracks are gonna comeference track that woman, you know, Yeah, you know I'm not I would never you know, I'm not gonna everybody know who you dogged out. Damn never that stories about this guy. I've always been like, I never have to like watch my back at seven eleven. I'm always good. They tell me, you guys have to go, But we could go on and talk forever. So I'm hoping maybe do this in person, like we will come out there and do this with
the audience. You know what I'm saying. I would love for us to be gu know you got your podcast too. I know you guys got a lot of always working and I appreciate that, and maybe we could do something with some equalantin and some you know what I mean, and just sit down and chack. You go to Napple. Let's take a trip to Napple. Yeah, and then let's do the podcast there. We could do everything there. You can just say fucking and mean us in Atlanta and turn all the way to funk up. That's so all
the way away. Quiet going to Atlanta, Mark Luke King's birthday next everywhere. I'm cool I'm chilter p. How to go see Dave Chappelle and Austin. You could go do that? They COVID testing you did.
