back to my own place. Yeah, I get my car in l A and everything. Did you think when you got your own place for your first time that you would be wilding? Because I remember when I first got my own place, I thought I was gonna be wild and I didn't really do ship. I ain't got a lot of the first thing I did and I got my crib was flamed up with blunt. I only smoked while I laid my head at without somebody yelling in my ear. But I don't gotta wash dishes when you

tell me to wash dishes. I ain't gotta take out the trash when you tell me, like it's just I want when it's got bad, dirty dishes. And that's the difference. I got a dishwasher. MoMA got one too, but she never used to let us use the dishwaher. That's my mother too, why to me so because older people feel like dishwashers don't work. that come out of my house. I thought that when I first when I moved to Jersey last year, you know, when I went to Yeah, I thought that I was just gonna be like the hostess with the mostest. I had a game night and I made I was able to make my apartment look exactly that I wanted in by all the French sure I needed and everything, and and I just sat there and stead of the walls.

Like it was just like, okay, we got all of this and now and what you'd be like, I'm gonna have a housewoman party something I had a six months after I never had one, and I had one cooking Yeah that's lookout and it was I've been living in my house. I bought my house like almost five years ago. I had one cookout and that was I never did it was it was out your hundred the same time they moved into the house. So it was a heat wave that day. It was like a hundred and five

degrees and set up of Hennessy of all drinks. Well you should know that in the backyard at we are looking at food, people don't find that they're gonna smell it. People be so ungrateful too, because like it was going on for like six hours, right, I had free food, free drinks, the whole bar set up, not even just regular VS. It was VS OPD. Everybody was having a

good time. And then when it was time for it to be over, they acted like they was mad, like there's no more drinks and some more liquor, no more food, Like I look three for six hours, I gotta go find me when I got leave, so I can't even talk that even food in the window cell we felt like the hot dog in the window or like Hamburger like in the window. I'm like, these people are disrespectful as fuck, like if I was when I thought parties

is somewhere else. When I'm at home, I ain't gonna that I do be having like certain people come up. But I really I'm cool with being about myself, like because for one, I'm barely even home. That's the big thing. Like I got this place and I got my car, and I'm like yes, and then I gotta go out of town for a week, like I'm gonna be here for a week. So when I go home, it just feel good to lay in my bed. And just now Valentine's Day is coming up, though, what's the big tree doing?

I feel like, Okay, maybe if I was in a relationship, yeah, then maybe it could go both ways. But I feel like it's really supposed to be about for women. Yeah. this change. I got this change for Valentine's Day, and that was my little gotta get somebody something. And that's one of the things I found out. He was laughing at me. And it's like I wasn't even mad about the situation, but the fact that he laed and that's what you have to lie. And you know what I'm saying. If a guy tells you like I am talking to other checks, you still will talk to him. Um, if we're not in a relationship, yeah, why not. I'm probably talking to other girls. But if he has a baby on the way, See, they get you, get tricky with get tricky. But I got a baby on the way. You know. It was like a situation. We wasn't even like that. She got pregnant. She want to keep the baby. Always a story, ain't it. And they'd be married, it'd be the fourth kid. But it

You know, we can still be friends key word friends nineteen. I'm not gonna take it personal, but that might change the way I fun with you, Like I might not be as serious with you. But it just depends on how much I like you. Like if I like you for real, for real and we've been messing around, it's like, I don't know, Maybe I don't know. I would have to see. But um so I had ran it to him in l A. He ended up coming to my house afterwards and he was just like chilling for a little bit, and I told him like, you gotta go, you know. But when he left, his girlfriend slid in my d M s like the next day, like, can I ask you a question? Did my boyfriend come over your house? Then he told me that he did, and he told me he's not talking to you and is then the third And I was just like just lack girl. I

didn't even tell her. I was just I was just like, y'all need to talk about what y'all got going on. And I just told him like, you need to stop buying your girlfriend or you don't need to be over here if you got a situation going on, you know what I'm saying. So it was one of those times. Why did he tell her so much information? What guys need to what they felt to realize is they need

to keep you one hunting from the gate. If you keep you one hunting from the gate with everybody around you, then you won't have these problems because you're gonna choose to deal with. You want what you want to deal with. But guys so quick to want to put us in situations that they want us to be in because they

want to be in. That's when she gets side. But he can't even keep it a hunter with us because if he did, knowing if I was the girlfriend, I would have broke up with him, Like you have your ex house and his drezy Nex, like, yeah, no, it's over with. But I saw a little cable cord hanging. You knew who's water. And I was living with my best friend

It was like two bitches in the crib. First of all, when she that's what she was like, what back? Because I couldn't think. I saw like my my birthday had just passed. My balloons was in his room, my pictures, but he took my balloons out the room. Our pictures was down, and I put your pictures down. My ship wasn't put back with the nigga. Must have been taking my ship and putting it somewhere else and then putting it back. But we had two crips that I was just like one of my the other closet. So I saw like the shade room posting all our responses and and I saw people trying to like put us against each other, and it was like a little tension in between us. So I was just like, you know, why don't not just reach out to cash Dog and

we do our own song. You know what I'm saying, Like a lot of females is not collaborating um and we both dope. So I just I did that and I had this song called schnell Slade, and I'm like, that's perfect for cash Dog sent the tour, she sent it back, and then ever since we've been like super cool, like I love cash Do you feel like there's a lot of competition between women in this industry? Do you feel like women have embraced you or no. I think a lot of women haven't embraced me, and I think

more so on the like respect level. I think a lot of women respect me in the industry because I'm not like, I'm not doing nothing for cloud. I'm not going around fucking for a name. Like I think every time you see me and my name in the music or in the light is something like either my talent or something my music or you know what I'm saying, Like, you gotta respect it it. It's no gimmicks with it. So I think they showed me up. Yeah, you do, be minding your business. I try. So what's going on

next for Dreas Big Dreams? Big Dreas is dropping Friday. It's a new project. Um, it got a lot of new music, dope music on there. Um. I was working on some of the songs been songs that I just had for men, and I added some new songs and it just it just got a lot of sauce to it. And then I'm gonna start working on my album after that. But Big Dreams is like my main focus right now.

But let's talk about your growth since when you first started up until the out because, like you said, you know, coming in this game early on, he was trying to figure things out. You ended up having to get in a bad contract, taking a break, and coming back. So now what kind of space are you in? Yeah? I feel like right now, I feel good, like I'm having I'm learning to have fun with it. It's not so stressful.

And that that I because the first couple of years it's so confusing when you're trying to figure it out, like should I wrap, should I sing? And my sex symbol and my tomboy and my this and of that, and then it's like once you figure it out for real, it's like, oh, let's have fun, you know what I'm saying. So now I'm ready to like put it all on the table really and not like I realized, I'm not one of those gimmicky females. I'm not gonna I'm not a comedian. I'm not like you know what I'm saying.

So I really want to put my extra energy into my creativity. And that's what I was trying to do with Chanelle Slacks, Like I wanted the video to stand out for us. I wanted the music to speak for itself in the videos and the creativity. So like even my next video, I got a lot of ideas for it, just how I'm break the record go viral that way with the creative sad. So that's what I'm trying to I'm trying to raise the bar, bring videos back brain style.

Bad videos need to come back. Yeah, we used to get so excited to see what you would hear a song and like, oh, I can't wait to this video Like what happened? Yeah, I think that's that's what I tried to do it And then I think that kind of worked because like people was excited for the song.

But then when I put the cover art, even with the it's crazy, even with the cover art, I love how we broke the internet with that, Like I got more lights on the cover art than I do on my regular pictures because people was just like yes, like we want to see the video and then want a video drop. It just shot up, like right now, we got over a million views. It's only been out for like a week, and and now we're averaging like two hundred thousand views to day, so it's gonna be a

two million probably by next week. So it's just doing good. It's good to see you figuring things out to like that. It really is, because I'm more ends on there too, Like the first when I first got signed to the label, where everybody felt like they knew what to do with

me and they was just just trust me. Dreams just touched trust me, and then it was like yeah, I thought, wall, I'm like, let me just do this myself, right, I would rather if I take an ill, I'd rather be based off my decisions than letting everybody else in a mama hand aside for you. Yeah, all right, Well, I know you got a lot of stuff to do because you in New York for a week and you got interviews and Big Dreams is out on Friday, so we appreciate you coming through and chopping it up with that.
