Episode description

Welcome to the next installment of the Anesthesia Patient Safety podcast hosted by me, Alli Bechtel.  This podcast is an exciting journey towards improved anesthesia patient safety.

Today on the show, I discuss the APSF Research Program and the 2020 APSF Investigator Initiated Grant Recipient, Sheila Riazi, MD, for her project titled “A Minimally Invasive Diagnostic Test for Malignant Hyperthermia.” I round out the show with a review of the APSF article, “Malignant Hyperthermia Preparedness: Stocking, Drilling, and Offsite Considerations.” Tune in to learn about how you can be prepared for an MH crisis and work to improve patient safety at your institution.
