Pfizer sees waning immunity from its Covid vaccine

Days after President Biden spoke of gaining our independence from Covid, Pfizer says it is seeing waning immunity from its coronavirus vaccine and is now picking up efforts to develop a booster dose

to protect people from the variants. It will seek emergency use authorization from the FDA in August for a booster dose. Dr. Leana Wen joins Anderson to discuss. Plus, Senator Bernie Sanders weighs in on the fight for voting rights. And President Biden announced today that the U.S. mission in Afghanistan will end on August 31.
