#16: Kyle Bassett

Kyle Bassett works on the bleeding edge as a partner in tech firm Arctiq. We talk about how he was an early adopter of the information superhighway as a teen in the mid 90s, Arctiq’s partnering with Google on Anthos, his PEI roots and how getting over our initial fear of talking to new people is such a big step.

“When I learned how to walk up to people and go, ‘Hey, I’m Kyle! What’s your name? What are you doing here?’ It’s like a superpower, right? Because the person you’re talking to just wants someone to do that, or they wish they would do that.”
