Episode description

In this episode, Christian Esguerra talks about the raging COVID-19 infections, which by Malacañang's own admission, are nearing the peak recorded in the Philippines in August last year. But just recently, President Duterte appeared to be downplaying the health crisis yet again, even if cases are projected to hit up to 11,000 daily if the current trend continues.

He also talks about the Philippine National Police Debold Sinas who allegedly violated health protocols during a visit to Oriental Mindoro, the same day it was later announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19. What do local authorities have to say about the alleged breach? Last year, Sinas held a birthday party while Metro Manila was in the middle of a strict pandemic lockdown.

He then sits down with a human rights lawyer on a planned Supreme Court resolution requiring law enforcers to wear body cameras during the service of warrants. Will this be enough to prevent abuse?
