When women struggle with adult relationships, particularly the romantic kinds, people are quick to point out “daddy issues”, but what if the issues stemmed from the very person who was meant to nurture and care for you? This week, one of my very best and life-long friend of almost 30 years - Lauren, talk about our mamas and how their parenting influenced our adult lives as well as our own parenting styles. Lauren is a wife, stay-at-home mom of a set of mixed-gender twins, an entrepreneur and baking extraordinaire. She is also a cheese and wine connoisseur and an aspiring sommelier. This week's topic was a touchy subject and we were only able to skim the surface, but let us know if you’d like a follow up episode or if you have feedback on your own relationships with your parents.
