¶ Debate Aftermath and Future Implications
Good morning , my virtuous friends . Well , it is the morning after the debate . We're going to get to that in just a second . I'm not going to talk long about it because you're going to hear about it all day from the mainstream media .
But , virtuous friends , I was listening to Bible in a Year podcast on the way into work and they talked about the relationship between Jonathan and David . I'm in Samuel right now . Jonathan is the son of Saul , who is the current king .
David is going to be the future king , but they're talking about the friendship , and they were talking about the friendship of Jonathan and David together , and Father Mike called it a virtual I mean virtual , virtuous friendship . And you know , there's all kinds of friendships .
There's friendships of convenience , friendships of pleasure , friendships of utility , and then there's the friendship of virtuous . And that's what we are .
We may have different views , different opinions on certain things , but we have the same goal , things and but we have a set , but we have the same goal we want to save the constitution of the united states of america .
All right , moving on the the um the debate , it went pretty much as I was afraid it would , and I blogged about it on my personal blog at Carol Remarks . Days before the event went down , last week sometime , I wrote about it on my blog at carolremarkscom , and I pretty much laid out exactly what happened , except except for ABC surprised me .
Now , I knew they were going to be in favor of Kamala , but I didn't think it would be so damned blatant . Wow . They didn't even try to hide their Trump derangement syndrome , didn't even try to hide it . I was shocked about that part , and so was everybody on the internet . It wasn't just me , everybody .
This is what everybody should be talking about is abc , and how shameful . Shameful . They should be ashamed , but they won't be . They're probably very proud of how it went down because that's what they wanted and they don't give a crap anymore . And kamala , by the way , she is showing her true colors when she says we're not going back .
Believe her , we are headed to a future of Venezuela . Just like Trump said , we are not going . She is not going to bring us back to the days when we had a great economy , when we had a secure border , when women and children were protected . We're not going back to those days 's . Right about that , oh my gosh , you guys .
Oh , we should be very terrified with a if kamala harris wins this thing and she just might do it . Taylor , swift has decided to come out and officially endorse her . Now some of y'all may think , oh , who , who cares ? Give a crap , I don't care . Look , taylor Swift is very influential with these youngins . Now , I don't know .
Obviously , 12 and 13 year olds can't vote , but you know , there's the younger people 18 who love . There's 30 year olds who love , uh , taylor Swift . It's disgusting . It's disgusting . I don't know what we're going to do . I'm very scared . I'm very scared . Now , do I think this debate changed anybody's mind ?
Not , not the Trump people , not Kamala's people , not Biden's people , but I think a lot of people that are undecided may have been swayed by her . Believe it or not , trump lost his cool a couple of times . He was yelling , he was defensive and this is exactly what I was afraid that he would happen .
She baited him , he took it and he was on the defensive ever since , but he had to fight three of them , not just kamala , and that was very obvious and it's just disgusting . I don't know if there will be another one . I hope there will be probably not . Early voting starts , so now I don't know how that works as far as counting .
So , with early voting , will they be able to count the votes and tell us before November 5th , or are they going to hold on to all of that and then count it ? How does that work ? If anybody knows , let me know . Megyn Kelly did a live rebuttal , live rebuttal um and after post a post debate commentary on YouTube live .
She put it out there If you want to go watch that I get . Apparently she throttles ABC and I hope I hope she talks about it on her show today on Sirius XM too . All right , we're going to move on to my other stories . I've spoken too long about that again , so I apologize .
All right , let's go over here and see what other kind of topics I have put out today . One of them is very sad . Come on , here we go .
¶ Tragic Disney Half Marathon Death Discussion
Runner Caleb Graves dies after collapsing at finish line of Disney Half Marathon , leaving chilling video before his death death . This was in California . The Disney World in California , disneyland , excuse me decided to line up for a half marathon . He's a very . He's a young man .
A beloved tiktoker died moments after he finished running Disneyland's Halloween half marathon , less than 24 hours after saying he was marginally worried about the event . Apparently , the heat out there is very bad . I guess he went out to walk his dog the day before or a couple of days before and he passed out because of the heat .
He was only out there for 20 minutes , and so that's what he said he was worried about . In a video that he posted before he did the race , bobby Graves , known by his middle name caleb on social media , clutched his chest as he crossed the finish line at the california amusement parks race .
Around 7 am on sunday , anaheim police told people graves , who was 35 years old , 35 collapsed and went into cardiac arrest . Collapsed and went into cardiac arrest . Fire and rescue personnel were right there on the scene . They got to him right away . Emergency services then performed life-saving measures , and that is in quotes .
Obviously , they did not because the guy died . Golly Sutter told police this . Oh sorry . Sutter told people the social media influencer had no known medical conditions before he died . The coroner's office is still investigating the case , the cause of his cardiac arrest . I know what you guys are thinking .
Graves reportedly finished 13.1 mile race at just under two hours . All right , I'm trying to get to the part . The day before he died , graves revealed that he passed out from heat exhaustion after he returned home from walking his dog . Y'all , y'all . Is it that hot out there in California right now ? This is like the middle of September .
Jeez , louise , when did this happen ? Did it happen ? It had to happen recently . I don't think this is like an old story . Anyway , oh , my goodness gracious , how sad you can go . Finish reading that story , all right . Now it's 23 years since 9-11 and we still need to remember the lessons of 9-11 . This is an editorial from the New York Post .
I'm not going to read it all , it's probably long , but I think it's very important to read the first couple of paragraphs , and I'm sure you guys remember where you were . It's been 23 years since America watched in horror as the Twin Towers fell on live TV .
19 Al-Qaeda terrorists hailing from Saudi Arabia , the United Arab Emirates , egypt and Lebanon hijacked four planes and killed 2,977 of us , shaking the nation to its core . America was suddenly brutally awoken to the menace of those who hate our country and what we stand for . Indeed , we did . That day , everybody learned who , what was going on around the world .
I got some more to say about Kamala too . Hopefully I can remember it after this Heroes stood up . Todd Beamer and his fellows on Flight 93 , firefighter Steven Siller and his Brooklyn Battery Tunnel Run , morgan Stanley's visionary Rick Rescorla , and so very many more , and some whose names we'll never know .
And for all the errors of the war on terror , the terrorists have never ended their war on us . Yet America , or at least its leaders , risks falling back into the complacency that led to the atrocity we swore to never forget . Yes , indeed , and with Kamala , if she becomes president , we will be catapulted into what Europe has become .
With their weak-ass leaders , america will not be different anymore . We will join the global community in open border policies , letting everybody come in and take over . We will not have our values anymore . That's right . That's all I wanted to say about Kamala , so you can go read the rest of that . It's , it's long . I hope what's not that long ?
Wow , but yeah , 23 years and I bet , I bet hardly anybody mentions anything about it today . Sad , sad , sad . The Victor Girls will be writing about it , however . We always . They do that every year . They will do commemorative . They'll , you know , talk about it . They always do that every year , 9-11 . And um , we also wrote about , uh , deanna Fisher .
The Victor Girl wrote a post debate , blog post too , if you'd like to go read that as well . All right , we're going to end it with this last one and then we're going to do a question of the day . Um , all right , this one's kind of fun .
I always like to try to end it with something upbeat , because sometimes I bring you some grim , disgusting , downtrodden stories , so I try to end it with something a little bit light-hearted . All right , ultimate World Cruise has finally ended and passengers are exhausted . Nothing can prepare you for nine months Again from the New York Post , exhausted .
Nothing can prepare you for nine months Again from the New York Post . All right . Royal Caribbean's nine-month Ultimate World Cruise that quickly went viral is finally coming back to port after what was the adventure of a lifetime for some 650 travelers who paid between $60,000 and $118,000 . Ooh , that's a lot of money . Good gravy .
Nothing can prepare you for nine months . Joe Martucci 60 . Why does that name sound familiar ? Did we just do a recent story with that name ? Golly , that name sounds familiar . Uh , joe martucci 67 told usa today of the grand voyage to 60 countries that hopped across south america , antarctica , china , madagascar and many more far-flung destinations .
Wow , the extended excursion was set to end on tuesday . It's always been a dream of my family to travel the world . 26-year-old South African cruise passenger Amiki Ouzthuzan previously told the Sun even dreams can be tiring , though . Houston voyager Adita Larson described the time at sea as exhausting .
Other travelers , like 47-year-old Brandy Lake , said there weren't too many lulls in the water . She described the three quarters of the year as rapidly moving . It's a blur . Lake told USA Today we don't know where we were yesterday . We don't know where we were going tomorrow . Packing wise . She even said her three large suitcases plus carry-ons were too much .
She said I pared it down and it's still just too much . Lake said it's kind of like your own closet . You really only wear 10 to 20 percent of it . Okay , she went on a world cruise nine months and she's talking about packing All right , I guess whatever .
Martucci added that it quickly felt like home as well and he could even do major tasks like buying a car remotely for use afterward . We've been able to function , he said . The cruise , which departed Miami last December , became a major hit on TikTok as couples like Joe and Audrey Martucci documented their day-to-day life on board .
The couple became a worldwide sensation under their account , spending our kids' money . Oh my gosh , I guess that's on TikTok . I don't have TikTok . I wish I could follow them that would be kind of funny , I think to see their adventures .
We had people messaging us to say say thank you so much for taking me along on this journey , audrey told cnn , recalling that fans greeted them during a stop in halifax , canada . Wow , even those who kept up with the happenings from dry land amassed their own tiktok following , like beth and fletcher , the United Kingdom .
If you're interested in travel and you're also interested , okay , whatever , okay , that's a little . I think that's kind of interesting . Would you do something like that If you had the money to spend ? This is the question of the day , why not ? If you had the money to spend like that , would you take a nine month cruise and see the world ?
I mean , if you had the money and the time to spend , would you do it ? I don't know that . I don't know , man , that's a big risk . That's a big risk , and I say risk because it's nine months . You probably know where you're going , but , man , that's , I don't know that I could do it , not in today's world anyway , I don't think I would do it .
I would like to spend my money elsewhere . Granted , sure , I'd love to travel and I would love , but nowadays , no , thank you , I will stay right here in north alabama and be a happy little camper . Okay , that's it today . Wow , today , wow , I got it under 50 . I got it in 15 minutes . Cool , I thought it was going to drag on forever .
All right , thank you all for listening and I hope you have a great day and I will be back again tomorrow . Stay positive , we can do it , we can do it . You got to stay positive . All right , love y'all , bye .
