From Naval Mishaps to Political Firestorms: Tuesday's Top Stories

stories I want to go over with you . Did you know that we lost a $56 million aircraft carrier off the USS Harry S Truman the other day ? And the aircraft carrier was out there . It's it's patrolling the seas to protect

the traffic , the traffic lanes , whatever trade lanes , from the Houthis and they had . They were rolling out an aircraft carrier or they were rolling out an airplane and the ship made a last-minute sharp turn and off went the tow vehicle and the airplane . Luckily , the staff and crew member jumped off the equipment in time so they didn't go overboard .

A US Navy F-18E Super Hornet fighter jet slipped off an aircraft carry and sank into the Red Sea as the ship was making a hard turn , possibly to avoid fire from the Houthi forces . According to reports this is from the New York Post the $56 million warplane was lost . The $56 million warplane was lost . We lost it , but the pilot made it out alive .

Thankfully , the jet was being towed out of a hangar . On Monday excuse me on the USS Arias Truman , when the carrier suddenly shifted and the tractor pulling it lost control , sending both the jet and the vehicle overboard the vehicle that was towing it out .

Initial reports from the scene indicated that the Truman made a sudden turn to evade an attack on Houthi rebels . An official told CNN . So there's that . How does that work ? Do we just leave it there ? I'm not sure . Do we try to go get it out ? I don't know how does that work . It doesn't tell us the rest of the story .

All we know is that it slipped off the aircraft carrier as it was making a sharp turn , possibly to avoid Houthi fire . Okay , well , isn't that interesting ? Maybe All

right . Jb Pritzer , this guy y'all . I can't . Even with this guy . He doubles down on calls for people to mobilize against trump . Five alarm fire . What does this mean ? What is he ? Is this not incitement ? What is this ? What is he saying ? Is this not incitement ? What is he saying ? Is he calling for violence ?

Is he calling for his people to get out on the streets , to get up in our faces and start fights ? What is he talking about ? Illinois Democratic Governor JB Pritzer urged Americans to mobilize against President Trump on Monday , a day after he delivered a fiery speech in New Hampshire calling for disruption and mass protests .

Y'all this is not good , but I don't think anybody's going to listen to him . But you know there are some crazies out there . Let me be clear we're in a perilous moment in this country , pritzer said during an interview with MSNBC host Jen Psaki when asked about what he was trying to convey in his speech at a New Hampshire Democratic Party dinner Sunday night .

In his speech , which conservatives quickly blasted as reckless , the governor declared that Republicans cannot know a moment of peace . So let me back up here to this other paragraph where he says let me be clear we're in a perilous moment in this country . Moment in this country . Can he give me what does he mean ? That's just rhetoric .

That's just stupid stupidity . He doesn't even know what he's talking about . If he did , he would give us examples , and the examples that he would give us would be you're not allowing us to mutilate children . You're not allowing us to have open borders and import all these criminals over here to invade the country .

We want the criminals , we want the rapists and gang members , ms-13 and all the horrible , awful people here . We want them here . That's what he would say , because that is their message . I don't know what perilous moment he is talking about . We are in good hands right now , so he's just being ridiculous and it's dangerous .

They have to understand that we will fight their cruelty . What cruelty are we talking about ? We are protecting Americans , sir , with every megaphone and microphone that we have . Prisker said at the mcintyre okay , whatever , 100 club dinner um , never before in my life have I called for mass protest , for mobilization , for disruption . But I am now for what again ?

For what ? Because we closed our borders and we're protecting , we're having America first agenda , because we're protecting women and children . Is that what you're talking about ? Is that the perilous times that you're talking about , idiot ?

Okay , during this interview with Psaki , the governor doubled down on his comments and even likened the Trump administration's policies to those of Nazi Germany . I can't this guy . I wish every single ginormous podcast brand name out there would blast this guy on full volume for everybody to see what an absolute ridiculous person he is .

You cannot take this guy seriously . It's just . This is the political world we live in now . If you don't like somebody and their policies , if you don't like it , then they're Nazi Germany or they're racist , of course . But to compare Trump and his administration to Nazi Germany is offensive , and it's not just ridiculous , it's just so off base .

It's like black and white , night and day . It's totally different . I don't understand where he gets his information . He just gets out there and says stuff that just to get people riled up , I guess . But what is the point of that ? I don't understand . I don't understand this at all .

But we're going to move on to the next story because I am running off of time here . Running out of time , all right , but hopefully we're going to get some good news here . Rob Manfred to rule on Pete Rose reinstatement after Trump talk . All right . New York Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred said he discussed Pete Rose with President Donald

Trump at a meeting two weeks ago and he plans to rule on a request to end the sports permanent ban of the career hits leader who died in September . Maybe that's what Pritzker is talking about about being such a horrible administration . Maybe because he talked to the baseball commissioner about getting Pete Rose's permanent ban done .

Speaking Monday at a meeting of the Associated Press sports editors , manfred said he and Trump have discussed several issues , including Manfred's concerns over how Trump's immigration policies could impact players from Cuba , venezuela and other foreign countries . Well , you know , I don't think they're rapists and murderers and gang members , are they ? They're baseball players .

So you know , I swear we have lost all common sense . Manfred is considering a petition to have Rose removed from MLB's permanent ineligible list , so hopefully that'll be going on .
