TALK TO ME, TEXT IT

Dive into intriguing revelations about infidelity, community dynamics, and heartwarming animal stories in this episode. We start with an insightful discussion featuring a seasoned divorce attorney who shares the surprising professions most likely to cheat on their partners. Are there common threads among police officers, firefighters, and military personnel that make them more susceptible to infidelity?

Next, we navigate the complex terrain of gentrification and its telltale signs, particularly the rising prevalence of gray-painted houses in neighborhoods. While gentrification can breathe new life into previously overlooked areas, it often leaves longtime residents grappling with displacement and the erasure of local culture. This episode unravels these intricate stories to reveal a broader understanding of community transformation.

We also include a heartwarming tale of three piglets rescued from a shocking art exhibit. Thanks to the compassionate plea of a young girl, these animals were saved from a tragic fate, demonstrating the power of empathy and the human spirit in advocating for those who cannot fight for themselves. Tune in to explore these diverse topics and engage in a conversation about relationships, community, and compassion. Don't forget to share your thoughts and experiences! Intro / Opening

Speaker 1

Well , hello and good morning . I have three different well , obviously different stories for you , wide-ranging topics . I don't think anything is political about them , so let's go ahead and get started . We will start with . I'm going to save three piglets till the last , because it's kind of cute and endearing

Cheating Professions Revealed

. All right , let's start with the worst one first . Okay , divorce lawyer reveals which professionals are most likely to cheat on their spouse . A divorce attorney excuse me , this is from the New York Post , of course has revealed professions most likely to cheat on their partner and the telltale signs you are being cheated on . Take this with a grain of salt .

Okay , all right . Kate Simmons , who is 39 years old and a divorce attorney with 15 years experience , has revealed the occupations of people she believes are most likely to be unfaithful . This is according to one person . Even though she is a divorce attorney for 15 years , she does have experience in seeing this . Okay , it's still just one person .

All right , let's see what she has to say . She says police officers , firefighters and people in the military are more likely to cheat because of their ego and the fact that they are around people 24-7 . I guess that kind of makes sense . I don't know about firefighters being around people 24-7 . They're not putting out fires 24-7 , but they are .

I don't know Police officers . I can understand Military people maybe , um , but you know , we'll see . I don't know Not , we'll see , I don't know . What do you think about that ? It kind of makes sense .

I don't know about the firefighters , but maybe it's a high stress level type thing and endangerment and that kind of thing , the seeking of I don't know the thrill , maybe , perhaps , kate . Also , I don't know any police officers and I don't know any firefighters , so I don't know police officers and I don't know any firefighters , so I don't know .

Kate also revealed the job roles of those most likely to stay faithful to their partner and believes they are accountants and farmers due to their personality types and more isolated career choice . This all kind of makes sense , kate . I mean you don't need a divorce attorney to tell you that .

Kate from Phoenix , arizona , us , said infidelity is the worst thing that can happen to a marriage . I agree , and I don't know how people stay together after that . It would be very hard . It would be very hard to do , I think . Anyway , I'm not going to finish that , I just wanted to do something different . I say something different Instead of politics .

I know Mr Sean's trying to stay away from politics for Lent . So I'm trying to bring you something else , not just you , but I'm trying to bring everybody something else other than politics , because if you listen to the blaze , if you listen to the news , you're going to get it all day anyway . All right , moving on to the next one . This one is so true .

I've noticed it here in Huntsville and I don't know , I don't know the title is this house color is a sign that a neighborhood is gentrifying . All right , I don't even know what gentrifying is . I think that means a new , younger generation is coming in and taking over .

When an older , lower income neighborhood is being upgraded and renovated by a wave of young income neighborhood is being upgraded and renovated by a wave of young , wealthy homeowners and investors , gentrification has typically begun . So there you go , and that has happened here in Huntsville .

I have seen it and it's I mean , I don't know , I don't know how , I don't know . I kind of like it , I kind of don't . I think I don't like it more than anything just because it's a bunch of young people coming in and putting young people stuff in and they make it ugly with their gray color , because that's the color that they're doing .

They're building these apartment buildings and they just look like freaking prisons is what they look like . They're not attractive at all . Now , maybe I'm just getting older and there's no , I don't like to go out and do young fun stuff anymore .

And because they've come over and they take here's the other thing they have taken over Huntsville , but they have , I think , rejuvenated it and they have made it look and seem better . More things to do , maybe , perhaps , but nothing that I'm interested in .

Okay , gentrification can bring investment into areas that may not have received much attention in years past , says HannahJones , realtorcom senior economic research analyst . However , typically the primary beneficiaries of this investment are not the families and populations that have inhabited the neighborhood for generations , but rather the new residents . This part is very true .

Whether you're in it , whether you're for it or against it , here's a telltale sign your neighborhood is being gentrified . Why gray painted houses are a sign of gentrification ? They did a color analysis of Washington DC specifically and found that shades of gray permeate neighborhoods where the white population has increased and the black population has decreased .

Very interesting , wow . So if you go to a neighborhood full of gray houses . It's a bunch of white people , young white people . Richard Segovia , 71 , told the outlet how he'd seen a shift in the Mission District of San Francisco , where he's lived his entire life , all this gray . It's so dark and so gloomy . Yes , I agree , so ugly , he explained .

Yes , I agree , it's like seeing creativity and art and the colors of my community disappear right in front of my eyes . I agree , now I did not put this out on X , but I think I am going to start putting my stories out on X . I was going to say you can go finish reading that story , but it's not out on X .

Maybe I'll try to remember to put it out there later . Now we're going to go to the three little piglets . Oh my gosh , these piglets are so cute and I cannot believe this was a thing . Where is PETA ? Three piglets stolen from art exhibit where they were meant to starve to death until a 10-year-old girl spoke up . You go girl . Yes , the three little pig .

I'm not , you know , typically into being an activist , but this is ridiculous . The three little pigs were rescued from the big bad wolf . Three piglets that were left to starve to death as part of a shocking art exhibit in Denmark have been stolen and saved from their horrific fate thanks to a 10-year-old girl begging her father to come to their rescue .

And good for the father for doing it . Artist , here we go , you can go look them up and go give them shit doing it . Artist , here we go , you can go look them up and go give them shit . Artist Marco Evaristi . E-v-a-r-i-s-t-t-i opened the and Now you Care .

And Now your Care exhibit on Sunday in Copenhagen to wake up the Danish society to the cruel treatment of factory farmed pigs in the nation that is one of the world's largest pork exporters . So he's trying to do something too to save the pigs . But he's taking these three piglets and putting them in an art exhibit and left them there to starve to death .

Is this guy like mentally ill , mentally retarded ? I don't know , something's wrong with him . To make his point , the native Chilean constructed a cage , of hay and shopping carts , trapping a trio of adorable piglets inside , the express purpose for allowing them to starve to death .

But the tiny pigs have been given a second chance at life after the artist friend Casper Stephenson's conscience prevailed over the unsavory demonstration . Oh wow , stephenson said . His 10-year-old daughter begged him to make sure the piggies won't die . So the big-hearted dad teamed up with the animal rights group . Okay , whatever , I'm not going any further than that .

They've been saved . What is wrong with people ? What is wrong with people , I don't know ? We need to move on to the question of the day and then I'll let y'all go on your merry way . Okay , here we go . Give me your favorite Bible verses , quotes , verses from the Bible . What are your favorite ? Give me some of them . I need that today .

All right , gotta go . Thanks for listening . Love y'all Bye .
