The Harlem Hellfighters

Despite the bigotry of the time, the Harlem Hellfighters, a majority Black American Army unit fought with honor and distinction in The "Great War". Despite their heroism, the Unit experienced racism in the US, earned the nickname "Men of Bronze" from the French, saw more combat and suffered more losses than any American unit in the war....oh yeah, they also introduced the French to Jazz...wild stuff!
