Contemporary Realism - California painter Danny Galieote joins the podcast as we're on location in Bluff, Utah, for a painting retreat. Danny is best known for his figurative work, particularly of strong and dangerous women and scenes of Americana. We talk to him about his fascination with 1940s and 1950s fashion, his fine art work and his distinguished career as a Disney animator, during which he animated a number of iconic sequences in Disney movies during a historic period at the studio.
