When is an invasion an invasion?

Russia’s Vladimir Putin has ordered his army into the breakaway rebel areas of eastern Ukraine, despite weeks of Russian assurances that they would not invade. Now Germany’s Chancellor Scholz has stepped up, halting the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from Russia for now. The US is also imposing a whole raft of sanctions, while Ukraine’s President Zelensky continues to project calm publicly. Today's show is dedicated to these dramatic developments.
