Episode description

Protests in Iran flared up again today, despite the Revolutionary Guards setting a weekend deadline for getting off the streets. There have been widespread protests in the country before, but these were cracked down on in brutal fashion. Is this time any different? And does the west have any leverage? Historian Abbas Milani joins the program to discuss.

Also on today's show: Heather McGhee, host of The Sum of Us podcast; Barbara F. Walter, author of How Civil Wars Start.
