Fashion styling duo Dani + Emma are the masterminds behind some of Corinne’s most iconic looks. Emma got her start in the fashion industry by interning at magazines like Allure and Glamour, eventually working her way up to assisting a celebrity stylist. Dani started her career in the advertising world, but transitioned into fashion and worked her way up the styling ladder  after moving to New York City.

The two connected on a project for the Oscars and knew that if they joined forces, they could offer something really special and unique. Both Dani and Emma draw inspiration from rock legends like David Bowie and Kurt Cobain and believe that every closet needs just a few basic, but well-tailored items like a white t-shirt, jeans, and a leather jacket.

[00:00:00] Corinne Foxx: Welcome back to another episode of, am I doing this right? I'm Kerryn Fox and I'm Natalie Macmillan. And we are best friends, confidence, millennials, and the host of am I doing this right? A life? How to podcast? From the perspective of non-experts

[00:00:20] Natalie McMillan: and each week we cover a new topic and we drink a new bottle of wine.

Yes

[00:00:24] Corinne Foxx: we do. And this week I'm very excited to have our guest. We're talking how to find your own personal style with celebrity stylists, Danny and Emma, who are also stylist. I've been working with them. Gosh, maybe like two or three years, maybe even longer than that. I can't remember

[00:00:44] Natalie McMillan: the first time I worked with them.

When did 47 meters come out 2000 18, 7 19. I know you worked with them that, for that,

[00:00:53] Corinne Foxx: I wonder what it was. I don't remember, but they have created some of my best, most iconic look, most iconic looks most recently my Spider-Man outfit, which I love. We're going to be talking to them about the staple. To have in your wardrobe, what to do, if you think you don't have a style or like, don't know where to go or how to figure one out and what trends to avoid this season.

And we actually got requested this episode so many times we have so many people reach out and like, can you do an episode on like style, like finding clothes that you like. I personally really struggle with this. You have a great sense of personal

[00:01:31] Natalie McMillan: style, really? Because like you were saying, people have asked so many times, like, can you do an episode on style?

And I've always thought, I don't know how to do that.

[00:01:41] Corinne Foxx: Yeah. I mean, cause it is so personal, but I do think, I mean, hopefully I know they have some tips and tricks for us. You like. The static. That is Natalie. I think you did too. I have no idea what it is. I don't know what that is. Very like clean

[00:01:58] Natalie McMillan: lines, classy, especially when you're doing like your business, you have your business hat on, then you've got this little, like a pantsuit on,

[00:02:07] Corinne Foxx: I do love pantsuit and Danny, every single time we have a fitting, they pull a pantsuit and we're like, we've got to do.

We have to be less fancy. We've done a lot of them. You look great in a pantsuit. Thank you. Okay. But first now let's get into the wine. What are we drinking? This app? Okay. We

[00:02:23] Natalie McMillan: are drinking the 2018. Now this is from France. I think goofy a Monta. What does this say? Month? 10. Ni is that French? I think it's French.

[00:02:35] Corinne Foxx: Mo moan. I believe Montag. That's what I'm tag. I would say that.

[00:02:43] Natalie McMillan: Terriers. Damn. I don't know how to say the back and

[00:02:47] Corinne Foxx: Tevye I'll do mound. Oh, that part, that

[00:02:52] Natalie McMillan: doesn't that mean like a, like a

[00:02:54] Corinne Foxx: ocean ration territory. Yeah. I'm going to say it's like a palliation mountain. Control. I

[00:03:02] Natalie McMillan: mean, it's similar to mountain mountain,

[00:03:06] Corinne Foxx: you know, y'all know I've been in French for a year and I still can't read it or pronounce

[00:03:11] Natalie McMillan: it very well.

I'm never going to be able to, I've just given up on nervous that I'm not

[00:03:15] Corinne Foxx: going to get the full, uh, quality of this wine because I am also drinking metal because

[00:03:19] Natalie McMillan: she brought in her little oatmeal. It haulage and latte.

[00:03:23] Corinne Foxx: The addiction did not stop in the, in the no, no, no, no,

[00:03:26] Natalie McMillan: but you know what? I think just lean into it.

It's not like you drink seven cups a day. Some people do that.

[00:03:30] Corinne Foxx: Yeah. Now you actually don't mean to remind you of something to tell you, what did you text me this morning? Wait, let me, Natalie texted me this morning or was it last night? Last night, 9 39. Remind me to tell you about my new life hack. Yes.

Okay.

[00:03:45] Natalie McMillan: I feel like this is revolutionary. I'm very excited. I know I'm excited to. But Amies so I have no concept of time or like how long things take no concept. Right. So I started timing things that I do every day. So like how long does it take to do my dishes? How long does it take me to wash? Like do my face, brush my teeth?

Like how long does it actually take me to do these things? And then. I can mix and match and add them up depending on what I need to do before I need to leave the house. So I know how much time I actually need. Okay,

[00:04:21] Corinne Foxx: Natalie, I know we always say we're on the same wavelength. Why today? On my morning walk, I listened to a podcast on how to not be late.

And because my whole goal for 2022 is to not be late to things you, what? I was like a little bit early, early it's because I don't know how long things take. Yes. I started getting rid of. An hour and a half early, because I need all that time to take Archie out to find my socks. I always have to I'm like, why are almost locksmith?

Yes. Like all of that stuff adds up and then it's like, that's why I'm always like six minutes late to things because

[00:04:57] Natalie McMillan: we underestimate like, oh, I just need to like, like today just grabbing the bottles of wine to bring I'm like, I need like three minutes to do that. Yeah. But in my brain, I need two seconds, you know?

So now I'm going to have a running list on my phone. Of all the like,

[00:05:12] Corinne Foxx: wait, can you share how long it takes you to do a little task?

[00:05:16] Natalie McMillan: Yes. So this just started like a few days ago, so I don't have very many labs or I don't have very many that I've done, but I'm so curious, brushing my teeth and putting Zeplin to bed takes me 10 minutes.

Oh, okay. So like sometimes I'll be on the couch and. 11. Oh yeah. And I'm like, oh, you know, it only takes me two seconds to brush my teeth. So then I'm like on the couch, like 1130, but then by the time I brush my teeth and puts up into bed, it's like 1140. You know what a full sink of dishes takes me 11

[00:05:47] Corinne Foxx: minutes.

Oh, wow. Like after like a dinner, like washing everything,

[00:05:52] Natalie McMillan: everything takes me 11 minutes. Let's see if I am getting like fully ready, like shower skincare. Close everything. One hour and 15 minutes.

[00:06:04] Corinne Foxx: I just realized today. I said, it takes me an hour to get ready. Yeah. Then I need 30 minutes to get Archie put away, to get, to pack my little bag, to find my keys.

So it really darn half. I

[00:06:18] Natalie McMillan: know we need more time than we think. So I think you should, you should start timing and you know what I'm going to start doing too is cause you know, I do my little cleaning things in the morning. I'm going to time out. Like how long does it take me to actually like clean my kids?

Yeah. How long does it actually take me to like clean my bathroom? It took

[00:06:34] Corinne Foxx: me so long to make my bed this morning. I thought I might not ever do this again because I finally had a new one's the California king it's too big. Like I have to do the top front, the bottom, and then the left back. I can't just like put the sheet on.

It's like, it's so large. So I thought this might ruin my life anyways. Okay. Okay. Let's get into the episode and talk about why we chose this topic. Obviously it was highly, highly requested, but also I think it's just

[00:07:06] Natalie McMillan: personal. Yeah. It's like so personal to. Each person, I mean, dub personnel, but I think it's really cool.

We can express ourselves through our clothes and it kind of shows off our personalities. Like, you know, somebody can walk down the street and you kind of know what their personality might be based on how they're dressed. And it's cool that there's such a variety from one person to the next. Such an individual

[00:07:30] Corinne Foxx: experience.

Yeah. Yeah. And I, Danny and Emma are like the perfect experts to have on their intro. They wrote that they are just a couple of fashion fairies bringing the magic to the red carpet, cover stories and the stage. I agree with that.

[00:07:46] Natalie McMillan: Should we bring them on?

[00:07:47] Corinne Foxx: Yeah, let's bring them on.

Hello, Danny and Emma.

So excited to have you guys on. I was just telling our listeners, the last time we worked together was on Spider-Man, which every time we worked together on. I think that was my favorite one. And that was my favorite one. And we had two great options for it too. So no matter what I was going to look

[00:08:16] Natalie McMillan: amazing, she sent both pictures in a group chat and everybody, it was, it was torn because they're both so

[00:08:22] Dani: good.

That's a good problem to have we keep running into that problem. Too many good looks to choose.

[00:08:30] Corinne Foxx: Yeah, no, I, my last stylist, before I was working with you guys, I remember going to my fittings and like, she would just pull things and it'd be like, I don't like that. I don't like that. And then when I have my fittings with you guys, we're like, we love this, we'll save this for something else.

And then we'll save this for something else. And let's just pin this in case we want to wear it later. And it's like,

[00:08:48] Natalie McMillan: yeah. But how did you guys actually get into styling? Like, and how did you guys team up? Well, like separately,

[00:08:55] Emma: I went to school for fashion and like, I. For like a lore and glamor and like kind of worked my way up to them becoming an assistant or like a celebrity stylist.

So I did that for awhile. You

[00:09:07] Dani: kind of knew what? Yeah. I actually used to work in advertising for company and had a completely different. It's a different life, completely different life. Gosh. And then I moved to New York with my corporate job and it went by the time I got to New York, I was just so inspired to finally make the move.

And then I, I just started interning and just kind of went from that. And then I quit the job and yeah.

[00:09:29] Corinne Foxx: Oh wait, how did you, to me? I feel like you might've told me, but I forgot.

[00:09:33] Dani: We met actually, when we were both assisting in LA oh, town for a reason, like. Yeah, that's a big joke coming up and she had to leave.

So she had to skirt, it was a big job job. And then she had to find someone to try and replace it because she was full-time with her stylist. And I was more of a freelancer. I kind of jumped around and worked with different people. So I came on to help with that project. And then the love connection with, and then

[00:10:01] Corinne Foxx: Danny and Emma was born.

I was like, I realized, I don't know your guys's last name. Cause you guys are just Danny and Emma. I was like, Hey, no worries.

[00:10:10] Emma: Wait, can you guess?

[00:10:11] Corinne Foxx: What do you think? Well, okay. When you hopped onto the zoo, now I know Danny's last name is Charlton. Yeah. I don't know your last name. You guys are just like a unit Rubinstein ruined Stein.

Okay. You actually might've told me that. Yeah. You're like, yes, I did Korean, but I'm curious, where were you? Two, like always fashionable, like her whole life or was there, or interested in fashion or was there like a pivotal moment where you were like, no, this is what I want to do. This is what I love, or I'm very interested in it because for me.

I have never felt very comfortable in the fashion space, even though I did modeling. So I'm curious how you guys fell into it. I've always

[00:10:52] Dani: been really as a kid, very Avalon God was my choice of clothing and I I've always been inspired musically. And so is Emma and that's something we bond about all the time and a lot of our direction and aesthetic comes from that.

But yeah, just music and. It wasn't always a good little on TV. Yeah. What

[00:11:11] Emma: should people in the music videos and like, everything like that. And as a little kid, my mom just let me dress myself and I looked insane, like black pants with like dresses on top belts. Like all, like, I was just very experimental.

[00:11:27] Dani: So it was like a fun way to express ourselves. Yeah. And I think obviously as we've got older, More fine. We've refined that style from an early age. I was definitely always like trying out new things and trying to be like the grungy. Grungiest still like the hottest. So like whatever it was doing the most with everything

[00:11:47] Natalie McMillan: funny about being a kid and just dressing however you want.

Cause I found pictures the other day of me as like a six-year-old and I was like, M I w like, definitely my mom, let me dress myself.

[00:11:59] Emma: You don't care what anyone thinks. It's like, that's awesome. Keep it going. Yeah.

[00:12:04] Natalie McMillan: There was a lot of patterns, a lot of patterns happening in one outfit, but I'm curious. What would you say your guys is now that you are refined?

Is your personal style? How would you describe it? Well,

[00:12:18] Emma: it hasn't, I mean, we were talking about this earlier. It hasn't changed too much. Like from when we were younger, like music obviously is always something we're inspired by. We both love like rock and roll. And like

[00:12:29] Corinne Foxx: at the Intel sheet, my dad was like, you two are like a rock and roll duo.

Like you need a rock band.

[00:12:35] Emma: They like the best compliment we've ever gotten was from Jamie Fox telling us look like we're in a rock,

[00:12:40] Dani: waiting the band name. He was going to get back to us without band name. Oh, okay.

[00:12:44] Corinne Foxx: I'll follow up on that. You should have your

[00:12:47] Natalie McMillan: manager.

[00:12:49] Corinne Foxx: He was very into it. He was like, you guys are rock stars.

[00:12:55] Emma: We're inspired again by musicians. And so we just liked the look of like rock and

[00:12:59] Dani: roll, just like a lifestyle too, when you're so into music, the way that we are, that's kind of how I first started realizing I cared about fashion and expression was when I got really into like grungy kind of music and alternative and rock when I was like 11, 12.

And from there, that's really where the experimentation came from. And yeah, and that aesthetic has just.

[00:13:19] Natalie McMillan: And then do you kind of like lead your clients with that look or do you like totally kind of tailor it?

[00:13:26] Emma: I guess it's different for every client, but with you, like, you know, our style, we've known you for a while now.

And we always like to, cause we dress the way that we dress every single day, like head to toe, we love like it's our favorite thing to do. So we always implement our personal style, but it has to like morph with. That individual as well, because we never want someone to feel like they're not

[00:13:50] Dani: themselves.

And at this point, people come to us knowing what we do. Yeah. So it's not a case of, oh, if you're not into how we dress, we weren't dressed you. But a lot of people want us to pet them in that direction because that's the aesthetic they're going for. So in the beginning, when we start with. And they're a bit tentative about that.

Sometimes it's just a slower process and then eventually we're just in sync and yeah, but with Korean

[00:14:13] Emma: it's been like such a cool progression. Cause I feel like in the beginning, you're like you said to us, you're like, you're going to have to push me like you still do.

[00:14:21] Corinne Foxx: I still like. Just push me. Cause my instinct is to like go say for play it safe.

And then sometimes you guys will text me and be like, we really love this one though. Kerryn. And like, you know, cause my gut I've never felt super comfortable in my personal style. So my gut is to always play it safe. And you guys like just always give me that extra push to like go for the thing that maybe is a little bit more like you were saying edgy or, you know, I have more fun with it, have more fun with it, but I think a lot of people struggle and kind of the basis of this episode, they struggle with their personal style and not knowing like what it is or how to find it.

And what advice would you give for someone who's still trying to figure out what their personal style

[00:15:00] Dani: is? I would say there's no kind of wrong or right. There's no, like if you love something. Uh, trend or isn't popular. That's like a really great place to start. You've got to be authentic to your interests and, and what, and

[00:15:13] Emma: taking inspiration from other people too.

It's like, there's nothing like David Bowie, even like talked about how he would look at his audience. Oh, I'm inspired by all the people coming to see me. And then I'm going to put my looks together or my stylist put them together. There's like no shame in like being inspired by other people and like taking that and making it your own, you know?

Cause that's kind of like what art is. It's like always kind

[00:15:36] Dani: of evolving, always coming back around. Yeah.

[00:15:40] Corinne Foxx: Yeah. Yeah. So many things that trend come back, I feel like it's like what? Every 20, 30 years or something like that.

[00:15:48] Dani: I was like, it's coming back around sooner than that now, but yeah, definitely. Cause people are getting

[00:15:52] Emma: bored.

So they're like, all right,

[00:15:53] Dani: what's next.

[00:15:56] Natalie McMillan: As you guys were saying about how, you know, you can see people and take inspiration and kind of make it your own, how do you decipher between making that your style or having that be a trend. Do you know what I mean? Yeah.

[00:16:07] Emma: Yeah. Well, it was style, I guess it's something that's more kind of, um, it doesn't, well, it doesn't go out of style, but it kind of, it, it stays pretty like, uh, oh God, what's the

[00:16:19] Corinne Foxx: word I'm thinking.

[00:16:19] Emma: Consistent, consistent. And like, it feels more like classic, I guess, for yourself, but with like trends, like they kind of come and go or they're like, like fads, I guess the same

[00:16:30] Dani: thing we've kind of always said that for us style doesn't necessarily have to mean fashion in the way that it's like to be stylish.

You don't have to wearing like the highest price item, money stylist style is an aesthetic is a gift actually that we have to be able to put stuff together. So we try and distinguish quite often between fashion like high fashion and style, obviously. I fashionable and we leveled that, but you don't need that.

You can work with a small budget to really put looks together just based on like UI and what you're interested in in that moment. And like Emma said, fads definitely come and go, but more classic pieces, like great out of wag. Great denim. Great. T-shirts great jackets, that kind of thing. We'll always kind of stay in style.

[00:17:14] Corinne Foxx: It's like those iconic staples. If somebody is listening right now and they. Want to rebuild their wardrobe or, you know, want to revamp their style. What are some like go to staples everyone should have in their closet, it can be tailored to their own style, but like, what are the pieces that everyone should have that they love?

Well,

[00:17:33] Dani: we've always talked about this as something we would like to do as, yeah. If we were to produce a, when win-win to produce a line down the road, like we having a staples line or something. We are a uniform pretty much. We don't look completely that different every day. It's great. White t-shirt we love a great white t-shirt a great like tank top a blazer denim jacket, leather jacket.

Really great, great fitting pair of jeans, solid pair of leather boots. That's just kind of like a pair of converse. Yeah.

[00:18:05] Corinne Foxx: Yeah. You guys are in uniform. I didn't think about that. Like you guys do have your classic, your, you guys do wear a white, t-shirt like a lot with like, I feel like also a belt. You guys always wear a great belt.

[00:18:20] Natalie McMillan: Um, good pants,

[00:18:22] Corinne Foxx: Emma. I think I wore it. Those are the pants I wore.

[00:18:25] Dani: Yeah, the fence.

[00:18:28] Corinne Foxx: I actual pants. Yes. I wore those off her body

on

[00:18:33] Emma: a fitting. I was like,

you

[00:18:34] Natalie McMillan: should wear these actually got so fat and I wear those.

[00:18:39] Emma: I look good on her. I didn't want to take him back.

[00:18:44] Natalie McMillan: When you guys are talking about wardrobe, I feel like that is like a way to simplify things for people that are trying to figure out their style.

Because if you kind of have like a reference point, then you can sort of build from there. You know what I mean?

[00:18:56] Dani: Yes. Small to begin with, keep it simple, tight knit group of items that you like and make sure they're interchangeable. That's the other thing that with fads and trends, it's not always as interchangeable because he usually prints.

Out of control or like the, you know, the color or whatever it is. But if you were working with like really classic pieces, like blue, black, white, gray, like gray, you know, that color palette, they all work together and you can kind of pair things back and forth and you can take five pieces and create 25 different looks out of that.

If you're moving things around, um,

[00:19:29] Natalie McMillan: for those pieces, what ones would you say you should invest in? And then which ones can you kind of like save on.

[00:19:36] Emma: Definitely for a leather jacket. I didn't invest in like a good leather jacket and a hundred percent. You should follow leather shoes, shoes, always good investment.

Yeah, bags, it's more accessories. It's like kind of that really like important piece in the look that will

elevate

[00:19:51] Dani: anything else you're wearing. But like with a

[00:19:52] Emma: white tee, it's like, you're going to go. Whether it's like a hundred dollars or 20 bucks, you're going to go through that white tee pretty quickly.

So I wouldn't spend

but then also with denim it's like, you can get Levi's are not that crazy expensive, you know? Like other companies are like making great denim, like great shapes. It's really the shape. That's important for your

[00:20:14] Dani: body. The real, real key to having great looking fitting clothes is tailoring. You can buy any piece of clothing, no matter how expensive, how cheap it is.

If you haven't tailored to your body, it looks expensive. And I need

[00:20:28] Natalie McMillan: to do that. There's some pieces I have that I'm like, I just need to get this

[00:20:31] Corinne Foxx: tailored, like small. So I could see like you having things that are too long or too big,

[00:20:36] Natalie McMillan: always the sleeves. I look

[00:20:39] Dani: like my hands, like that changes everything that changes every piece

[00:20:43] Emma: and it can elevate something that's really inexpensive to look like.

Wow. That it's her body perfectly, you know, like

[00:20:51] Corinne Foxx: what do you think we'll never go out of style? Like what is a piece that a listener could get that you can guarantee will never go out of style? I think

[00:21:00] Dani: leather jacket. Yeah. Like a biker jacket.

[00:21:03] Corinne Foxx: Yeah. I've had mine for, so I just got a new one. Is it this one?

Yeah. I just got this one from Maritsa. I don't know if you can see it's the Sunday best one. Oh yeah. Fitted, I should show you guys how it fits. Cause it's a little

[00:21:18] Natalie McMillan: odd Taylor leather jackets. You can. Yeah. Oh my God. I had no idea.

[00:21:24] Corinne Foxx: They tailor, they

[00:21:25] Natalie McMillan: tailor everything. They'll tailor everything. Oh my gosh.

When you guys were growing up, this is kind of like a fun question. Did you guys have any like style icons,

[00:21:33] Corinne Foxx: the music videos? I was like, I wonder who

[00:21:36] Natalie McMillan: like in particular.

[00:21:37] Emma: Yeah. Oh man. I Bowie is my number one, always obsessed with David Bowie from the time I was like, yo. I want it to be an alien as a little kid and thought I was.

And so I was like, wow. So yeah, all throughout like that hasn't gone

[00:21:51] Dani: away and I was always super, super inspired by Kurt Cobain. Nirvana.

[00:21:57] Corinne Foxx: I feel like you guys have similar style. Yeah, I get, yeah,

[00:22:01] Natalie McMillan: like kind of a rock. Yeah, I guess I do. I'm I, we were talking about it. I don't know how to describe. It's hard to describe your own style as you're wearing an in-sync t-shirt.

I know, I like my instinct. I think my uniform is band tees and like a lot of jewelry. And if I can wear a denim short, I am in a denim short. Yeah. You love it. Then I love a denim shirt.

[00:22:25] Dani: Nothing wrong with that.

[00:22:27] Corinne Foxx: And, and speaking, we were talking about trends earlier. I was curious if there's any current trends right now that you guys are not fans of, or any trends that in your past you look back and you're like, I wish I'd never done that.

Like the

[00:22:42] Natalie McMillan: eyebrows and the night. Oh my God.

[00:22:45] Dani: I don't know how we got so lucky to get them back. Um, well for us, I think trends are going not really into, which we did get into over quarantine was sweats. Sweat sets love that for the hat. I don't really want to come to work and I don't really want to go do my professional life and take pride in our clothes

[00:23:05] Emma: and putting them together.

So I think that's something we personally.

[00:23:09] Dani: The yogurts and the yoga

[00:23:11] Emma: studio pants. And the

[00:23:14] Natalie McMillan: that's funny when the sweatpant thing was happening. I tried that I wore like sweat pants in public and I was like, this isn't for me. It's not for me to Watson public. Yeah. I can't do it

[00:23:28] Emma: doing it just us

[00:23:29] Dani: personally.

We're like, it's more of a mental distinction between I'm at work.

[00:23:34] Natalie McMillan: Yeah. I feel like I'm in my pajamas, like at the grocery store and it's like this isn't right. You know,

[00:23:41] Corinne Foxx: I feel like I wear my sweats out, but you look

[00:23:43] Natalie McMillan: huge. In

[00:23:45] Corinne Foxx: them. Thank you for saying that. All the pinks,

[00:23:48] Emma: the pinks, that was so cute on you.

Yeah. It's

[00:23:50] Corinne Foxx: like, oh, I was just wearing the blue one from, I got to keep from the Intel thing. I just wore it yesterday. What was

[00:23:57] Natalie McMillan: the one you were wearing on the hike? Yeah. That was cute.

[00:24:01] Corinne Foxx: Oh yeah. Well, no, but that was, that was a workout set. Oh, okay. And that was a hike that was an appropriate place to wear.

Yeah. Hey, okay. Well, thank you so much for gifting us with your advice on style. And I know this is gonna be so helpful for our listeners because we got so many people that wrote in and wanted this episode. So thank you so much. Yeah, for sure. We will have you on, we have a thousand more questions for you all.

I use a fast. Okay. We love you and have a great rest of your day.

[00:24:37] Natalie McMillan: Bye.

[00:24:46] Corinne Foxx: I love them. And they came on. I know, I wish everybody could see them. Well, they can on the Instagram this week, we'll post a little clip of them. And also we'll tag them in our stories. If you guys want to see them, they're so super cute. And they are like, oh, fashionable dress, like little rock

[00:25:01] Natalie McMillan: stars. No, I wish that I showed up in the world everyday.

Like.

[00:25:05] Corinne Foxx: Just like put together together. You are though. You really have a very distinct sense of style. Yes. Thank you. I,

[00:25:13] Natalie McMillan: I, I guess,

[00:25:15] Corinne Foxx: yes. Okay. So should we introduce our hot tip of the week? Very stylish mismatch. Your personal favorite? It's Ms. Share. Oh my God. It's share

[00:25:30] Natalie McMillan: love, share, dial icon queen transcends time.

I feel like you're going to make a really good real this week for share. Oh my God. You know, I will, I have to think of it. I always think of it in a random time. Oh,

[00:25:44] Corinne Foxx: that's it. Well, there's that one clip of share when she says, um,

[00:25:47] Natalie McMillan: I am a rich man. I am a rich man. I love, I am a rich man. I also love when there's this interview she did with Oprah and she's like, I am really nice.

I am really sweet, but like, if you fuck with me, I will drag you across the floor. And I'm like, that's very me energy. And I love that. I love that. What is her sign? I don't

[00:26:08] Dani: know. I

[00:26:08] Natalie McMillan: wonder, should we Google it? I w she's gotta be a fire sign share. Also. I love that she she's like very open about what she's done to her face, but she looks

[00:26:22] Corinne Foxx: good.

May 20th, Gemini.

[00:26:25] Natalie McMillan: Is she a chimney or a Taurus? I could see tourists also just cause they love really Fabby luxurious things. What the

[00:26:32] Corinne Foxx: hell? Why can't I find this hurts? No, I'm on her birth chart. I just need to know what her sign

[00:26:40] Natalie McMillan: is. Well, just look up may 20.

[00:26:43] Corinne Foxx: Maybe you'll find it quicker than me at the Zodiac Morris.

She's a tourist. Very luxurious. Yeah. They like luxury, luxury thing. Okay. So let's circle back on the wine would is, oh gosh, the montage montage PA. Goofy

[00:27:03] Natalie McMillan: goofy. Wouldn't that be goofy? I don't know. I don't know what it means.

[00:27:07] Corinne Foxx: It's white wine drinking. One to miss stylish share. I am a rich man. It's like actually like it.

Yeah.

[00:27:17] Natalie McMillan: It's not like outstanding, but I like it. Yeah. I'm going to give it a

[00:27:21] Corinne Foxx: seven and a half. 7.75 a share and its share we'll link into the show notes. If you guys want to pick up a bottle,

all right. This is part of the episode where we play a little wrap-up game and today we're playing. Would you rather, rather, I think it's been a

[00:27:44] Natalie McMillan: while since we've done this one.

[00:27:47] Corinne Foxx: I think so mine is right on point with what we talked about at the top of the episode, which is time. Oh, okay. So Natalie, would you rather always be 20 minutes late for important events or always be two hours early to everything else?

Oh,

[00:28:07] Natalie McMillan: man. I almost think I'd rather be two hours early to

[00:28:10] Corinne Foxx: everything then 20 minutes late to an important thing. Yeah.

[00:28:13] Natalie McMillan: Cause my anxiety, oh, the stress of people waiting for me. Oh no, I don't think I could do that. I don't think I could do like an important it's also like how important is

[00:28:23] Corinne Foxx: it important? I'm talking your wedding day.

I'm talking. We asked your wedding needs like your day, like your wedding day.

[00:28:32] Natalie McMillan: I'd rather be two hours early. Yeah, I would,

[00:28:37] Corinne Foxx: I guess if I'm

[00:28:38] Natalie McMillan: two hours early, I always think if I'm early somewhere, I can like do work on my phone or like entertain myself,

[00:28:45] Corinne Foxx: watch an episode of something. Honestly, probably binge watch series.

[00:28:49] Natalie McMillan: I'll probably, I can't stop watching Ted lasso. I

[00:28:53] Corinne Foxx: started it and I haven't gotten into the rhythm of it. Oh

[00:28:56] Natalie McMillan: my God. I love it so much. So I would definitely binge Ted lasso in a parking lot. Just waiting,

[00:29:02] Corinne Foxx: waiting. That's your fate? Two hours early. To everything. That's

[00:29:06] Natalie McMillan: what I'm doing a lot. He's class, everything.

Okay. So my would you rather is a fashion base. Okay. Is on the trend of our actual topic. So would you rather on a red carpet? Oh God wear pants covered in dog hair or a shirt that is stained all over.

[00:29:30] Corinne Foxx: I'm sorry, I'm just, I'm trying to visualize both. So pants covered in dog hair or a shirt with stains on it.

Pants covered in dog hair.

[00:29:41] Natalie McMillan: Oh, and what brought

[00:29:42] Corinne Foxx: you to this conclusion? I was leaning towards the stain shirt, cause I thought, well, maybe you can make that cool. Yeah. Like, like make it look like tie, dye pattern. But I think the question has to be that people know it's a stain, right? Fashionable. And I think stains on your shirt are so embarrassing.

I'm like, wait, do I have a marina? I think, I don't know why. So I think it'd be less embarrassed. People love dogs. That's true. That's true. I'd be like, oh, well I have a dog too. Yeah. But like if I had like catch up on my. It's just like,

[00:30:11] Natalie McMillan: plus people would be like, she's relatable. She has dog hair on her.

Like we all do that.

[00:30:16] Corinne Foxx: You know what I like just feel like the same. There's not a lot of sympathy for

[00:30:21] Natalie McMillan: yeah. It's like, just turn your shirt inside out. Just like a petty part. It's it? Yeah. Poor thing. Yeah.

[00:30:26] Corinne Foxx: Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to go with the hairy pants. All right. Did you just come up with that? I

[00:30:31] Natalie McMillan: was looking through like fashion something and there was something about cat hair and then I just thought of it.

[00:30:38] Corinne Foxx: And that was a great one. Well, you guys don't forget. We have a fun newsletter newsletter that goes out every week where we just recap our episode. There's really hilarious.
