This show is produced and hosted by Mark Webber. The show is sponsored by G three of Peril. The views expressed in the following program are those of the sponsor and not necessarily the opinion of seven ten wo R or iHeartMedia. Who is Mark Webber. He's a self made business executive here to help you find your success from the New York City projects to the Avenue Montaigne in Paris. His global success story in the luxury world of fashion is inspiration off.

He's gone from clerk to CEO twice. Mark is classic proof that the American dream is alive. And well, here's your host of Always in Fashion, Mark Webber. Mark Webber. I'm going on notice Apple and Spotify have categorized this show in spite of how hard we try to make it a business show, in spite of the fact that its background is based on my career in

fashion. Therefore, Always in Fashion, no matter how hard I try to have made this a business show, we have been categorized as cultural and lifestyle, and therefore I am going to take poetic license and tonight I'm going to talk culture and lifestyle. I have to ask you, are you watching what's going on? Humans? I can't live with them. I can't live without them. That one sentence should make it clear. While we have to try

and get along, we're so divided now. Don't get me wrong. When my team's in place, I could care less, But when the fool's rule, I care. At the same time, I should say, do not confuse me with someone who gives you, because by and large I don't care. Yeah, I'm not a good guy. Don't look for me as the guy that saved the planet. If I could, I would, I can't, so I don't. But I just have to say it. I don't

care, and I leave it alone. I'm going to leave it to the so called geniuses to figure it out, the politicians, the ones that are watching this country fall apart and participating it. We don't have enough problems, crime, inflation, no borders, no abortions, fighting with Disney, bud Light, new regulations for I think you're now allowed to say fat advocates corruption. Then you get into love them or hatem with how many times do you

have to say Trump was right? The Biden behavior at the moment is scary when it comes to the DOJ. But I don't care. I'm not going there, I'm cultural and lifestyle. Thank you Apple, Thank you Spotify. I love to observe humans. They're so entertaining. But before I get into it, let me be fair. As a qualifier, I should say that I'm in ore and we're in debt. To the military, Thank you, the police, to firefighters, thank you, utility workers, sanitation, power

water, thank you, the medical profession early responders. Thank you all for your service. Now I used to include teachers, not anymore. They now all in the category with everyone else. Opinion challenged morons, really proof that a college education isn't what it was or should be. No more independent thinkers. No wonder people graduating are prepared for work, let alone life. While I'm at the worst of the worst for independent thinking. The politicians voting the

party line rather than voting what was right. We voted for these people to take a stance on what they believe and not to follow a line of politicians in their party hook line is sinking no matter whether they're right or wrong. I wonder do they know if they're on the wrong side when they are or are they thinking that I need to get reelected, I need to make sure I sit on the right committees. I need to write my next book. Are they doing what's right for us following that party line? I don't think

so. Listen, people are segmented into vast groups that are living embodiments of common sense, not being thinking aside. I've noticed Americans no brains, no taste, no values, no integrity, and no discipline, wasters, weight, challenged, filled with excuses, and to observe you, I would do it all day and night. I love it. Explains why people are on Instagram all day. They're vapid rules. But boy, are you fun to look at the tall, the short, the skinny, and they're not so

dressed up dressed down. I love watching you through your daily activities alongside me. I'm no exception. I'm an admitted acquired taste. I give you permission to look and criticize me, because I'm going to criticize you. There is fair I have to admit as I classify you in these different categories. The name of the show is always in fashion. You're almost never in fashion. If it wasn't a bad taste, you'd have no taste at all. Do

you have a look at yourselves before you leave the house? Are you smart? Not really, that's frustrating. You're often wrong and never in doubt. You're incredibly stupid. I watch you squander your votes, you pick one issue that you focus in on and let the rest of the country burn. It's moronic, and still we can't get people in office we could admire. I had hoped for Trump, the outsider, the businessmen and women entering politics. I came from the world that these people are a part of, and I

admire them. They say what they'll do, they do something, and they deliver, or they don't and they get fired. Trump demand, now that's the conversation. But this week it has proven the insiders, the Democrats, conspired to ruin his presidency years lost because they don't like him, and the team got voted out, and no one is accepting responsibility or accountability. This is unbelievable. In spite of all this, I've been running around and I've

been observing. I've had a beautiful week out in the weather. I've been interacting, I've been searching. I got a lot to report. I know I'm not an idiot. I can't be the only one one that sees this stuff. Looking walking taking part of society. It's there to be seen. It's time to comment. From escaping to shopping to intersecting, and it's reacting

with humans. Now. I've been also shopping for stuff. I've learned that money camp buy happiness, money Camp buy class, money Camp buy service, money camp buy good looks, and money certainly can't buy your love anyway. Tonight, it's the world as I've seen it recently, absurd and noticed. Joining me on this tour of Notice in New York, my lawyer, my son, my co host, Jesse Webber. When you start the show with the word humans, I know it's going to be uncomfortable. I think that's

a trigger word. I'm used to it by now. You ever hear of Betty Davis, I think so yeah, old time actions. She's one of the greats actually, and she was in a movie called All About Eve. She has one of these great lines. I have to play it for you. Fasten your seat belts. It's going to be a bumpy nuts. So yeah, we might be in for a bumpy ride and some of the subjects we choose to discuss, but basically I want to do fun stuff. Now, aren't you amazed? Jesse? What you see around you? The news

on the streets. I gotta stop asking you. You're the anchor of the Lauren Crime Network, you're the legal analyst for News Nation. What's going on with that trial? I have to ask Laurie. I forget her name, You'll tell me, Laurie valode Bell, I gotta ask you. When you cover these trial, you cover these maniacs. Do they think they're going to get away with it? I don't know what she's thinking. She's one of

the very, very strange defendants. It's such a horrible case. She was convicted of killing her kids, she was convicted of being involved in the murder of her husband's wife. Very hard to know what's in her mind. She was like showing no emotion during the course of the trial. I don't know if she really knew what was going on. I don't know if she really knew, you know, if she thought she was trying to get away with

it, if she thought she was right. I can't say. I would say in the majority of the cases that we cover, yeah, the defendants who commit these crimes are definitely trying to get away with it. They lie, they cover things up. I love the cases where they hire someone to kill someone, like murder for hire plots. They think, oh, you know what, I'm going to outsource this. It'll never get traced back to me. And those are the cases where the paper trail and the video trail

and the digital trail is worse than anything. It goes right back to them. So it's yeah, everybody's most of the time they're trying to escape getting into trouble. And by the way, I get this question a lot. Oh, they must claim the insanity defense. They're insane. Well, everybody who commits a murder is there's something wrong with them. They're all there's something mentally off. It doesn't mean they're insane, but there's definitely something wrong with

them. Yeah, all right, well that was helpful. Did you see her in court? She went from a beauty to a monster. There's a clip from her from years ago. I think she was like Miss Texas or she was trying to be in a beauty pageant, smiling, youthful, energetic, and now she is just cold, emotionless, hardened killer. That's who she is. It's pretty horrible to see the progression. All right, Well,

we're on the news, get it out of the way. What's going on with firing the Department of Justice lawyers who are You're completely wrong, your fake news. That's not what happened. Al right, Well tell me I told you before. I don't care. I'm just curious. I think what you're referring to is that there was an IRS whistleblower who came forward a month or so ago. This is somebody who's been investigating Hunter Biden and said that

he believes that there is a cover up in the Hunter Biden investigation. And after this whistleblower came forward, the Commissioner of the IRS said, we encourage whistleblowers, there will be no retaliation taken against this whistleblower for coming forward, and then bam, this week we are alerted from the lawyers of that IRS whistleblower that the whistleblower and his entire investigative team have been fired. So we

don't know why this whistleblower was fired. Department of Justice has not come forward with an explanation. The IRS has not come forward with an explanation. But from an optics point of view, it sure doesn't look great. It doesn't look great that the person who came forward and says there's monkey business going on in the Hunter Biden investigation gets taken off the case after he was promised he wouldn't get taken off the case. Where is this in regard to the Hunter

Biden laptop case. Look, Hunter Biden is being investigated for tax fraud and whether or not any other kinds of business dealings. They came out last week that Congress said the Bidens have been engaging and influenced pedaling, but there's been nothing directly tied to President Joe Biden. Hunter Biden's being looked at. We'll see if criminal charges come. I'm not sure what's going to come of it. But he is being investigated right now. But how does that relate to

this whistleblower. Well, the whistleblower says that the investigation by the IRS, and really it's a US attorney in Delaware who's looking into Hunter Biden, but it's in coordination with the IRS. This whistleblower said that there's been a cover up. I don't know if there's been a cover up. That's what this whistleblower's allegations were. There's so much we don't know, but just optically,

it doesn't look right that the whistle blower was taken off the case. How is this different from Biden firing the people that were looking into the Ukraine. Well, in that case, the allegation was the Ukrainian prosecutor wasn't doing his job. The idea was that the Ukrainian prosecutor should have been fired because he wasn't really looking into corruption and he wasn't doing his job. And Biden's argument has been like, that's why we wanted him removed. But hey, wasn't

he looking at the companies that Hunter Biden was involved in? Arguably yes, So that's the other way of looking at it too. So is this all cycle babble? Is this real? What's going on right now? I don't want to jump to speculation, and there's been By the way, let's be clear, there's been no evidence that Joe Biden. President Joe Biden directed that

this whistleblower be fired or interfered in this investigation. He came forward at the very beginning and said, I'm not gonna I know my son is going to be looked at. I'm not going to get involved in any which way until something comes to say otherwise. I don't want to immediately accuse him of something. But you know what, I think is interesting. The president can pardon Hunter Biden if the worst of the worst comes out for federal crimes, not

state crimes. Yes, So I would say to you that the clock is sticking to get this out there done, and if he's going to be convicted of something, it has to happen quickly while Joe Biden is still the president, if he's going out pardon his son, which he would think he would, now God forbid, he's brought up in all of this and they could see that he was getting money for pay to play. He can't pardon himself. Oh boy, that's a tricky legal question. I don't think it's ever

been settled about it, one way or another. All right, let's get back to cultural and lifestyle. What do you see going around the streets these days, Jesse? You mean when I'm walking around New York City. Sure, something happened recently and it made me think of it. Have you ever been walking down the street and there's people who are trying to sell you something,

and are they're trying to basically have you sign up for something. I had a girl on Madison Avenue the other day, come really attractive, come walking over to me. And she's wanting to sell me skincare or whatever. She said. You know, I saw you walking down the street. You're amazing, your hair amazing. She's I want to talk to you from it. I have a question, so I said to him. Unless your question is do you want to go out with me or take me for dinner,

I'm not answering. She looked me as no, it turned around and walked away. Well that's one way to respond to it. I just have to tell you, I think they are the best sellers. The way that they're so unique and how they try to get you to stop, and the compliments they give you. Sometimes I stop, I go thank you like it's I'm I'm not going to sign what they want me to sign. But I just think they give you like the best compliments and the way that they try to

stop people on the street. I love it. Yeah, and I think that false flag compliments. As you could see, I got to the chase. If I'm so handsome, it looks so great walking down the street and you have to talk to me, then okay, where are we going? You could be handsome? She just doesn't want to date you, Then leave me alone and just observe like I do, notice me and leave me alone. What about you? Any interactions that you care to share all? That's

what got me started on all of this. I've noticed some very unusual things during COVID. My passport has expired. I hadn't didn't know if the world would ever open up again. I didn't envision getting in a plane again. And I let my passport expire. And this week I decided to go renew my passport and I made an appointment to visit the city hall. You passed through a metal detector. You have to show your ID. I was shown

to a little section that had stand up waiting area. There were five or six men or women lined up in little cubbies that you'd walk up to the cubby and stand there and fill out a form and renew your passport. I brought my form with me. I happened to make a couple of corrections. She made me fill it out all over again, because you're not allowed any cross offics. And I filled out the entire passport and then she got to the point she said, well, you need to take a picture. For

that, you have to pay me forty five dollars. I said, sure, I take out my wallet. I give a forty five dollars. They take my picture. She says, now in order process the passport, you could pay ninety dollars for regular service or one hundred and thirty dollars for expedited service. I said, I'll pay for one hundred and thirty dollars expedited service. She's we'll make out a check to I said, I don't have a check. She's you have to have a check. I said, have a

credit card. We don't take credit cards. You have to have a check. I have cash. No, you have to have a check. So she gives me this thing and on it is a key food and it's with a note that I need money order. Said, wait a minute, you're sending me to go get a money order. Where's it? It's just three hundred yards down to the left, down to the right. Go there. So I go out, and now I'm searching for a money order. I like to walk, so I don't mind searching for the money order. And

I go to this bottega. They wind me over to this cash redchi. She said, what can I do for you? And I show her the request for the money or one hundred and thirty dollars. She says, one hundred thirty dollars. She feels out a point right in front of her, there's a bucket and the buckets attached to a string. She takes my two hundred dollars, which I get cash the money order request. She puts in the bucket, and I look. Some guys up in a glass window,

pulling the bucket up by the string. He takes it. He puts in his room. Five minutes later, he sends the bucket down. I'm assuming it had to do with theft. I'm assuming he's sitting there with an AK forty seven. Then if I do anything wrong, he's gonna shoot me. But he sends the bucket down. She gives me my money order, my change. I walk, I get lost. I get back to the city hall whatever it was, and I go in to see the woman again. She waited for me, and I said, Hi, how are you?

She's your money order? Yes, I handed the money order and I said to her, thank you for your help. I really appreciate. I said, how long will it take to get my passport? Eleven weeks? What do you mean eleven weeks? I paid for expedited You didn't say you needed it quickly. Okay, so she's not wrong. Let me just tell you something because I've been trying to get a passport too. Even if you do expedited, there is a backlog right now. It is all in news.

There's a backlog on passports. Apparently everybody's trying to renew their passport or get one. Yeah, but this is like words, here, are you kidding me? It's crazy? Right? No, because here's what a part you miss. She said, Well, if you want to have it within four weeks, you have to get a money order for one hundred and ninety dollars. Back to the guy with the shotgun. So I make a long story show it. I thought about it. I noticed that this world is crazy.

I've noticed that I'm a part of it. And I noticed I've planned to talk about tonight. Take a break back in a minute. Always in fashion, my favorite brand has always been ISOD. My company at one time bought that brand. The CEO of the company handed it to me and said, you better make it work. And I put everything in my career to make iod work. And I fell in love with that brand, and to this day it is one of the most exciting endeavors I've ever got involved with.

ISOD is an incredibly strong golf brand. If you play golf, if you play tennis for that matter. They make a great polo shirts. I mean great. They fit perfect. The material is unique because it's a PK fabric, that waffleweave you see, and it's made of a blend of cotton and microfiber that allows you to stretch. And very often they are treated with solo protection as well, so they stretch, they're comfortable, and they breathe well. And one thing about ISA, they always fit. They'll never tug

on you. You put it in your waist, they'll fit you great. The colors, patterns are sensational. Now I will also tell you ISOD makes great shorts and great golf pants. You're a golfer and you want to look good. You don't want to have to think about how do I look. You want to think about how you play, not how you feel. ISOD is the brand for you. I know I was there when it was created. The strategy behind that brand is brilliant. It's one of my favorite brands.

While I talk about I should tell you about the men's sportswear ISOD wasn't enough being a golf brand. It wasn't enough being just great polo shirts with logos, without logos, incredible brands in story and history. ISAD makes salt

weather programs. They have great printed woven shirts, short sleeves. They look excellent with colors, excellent with shorts, excellent with cotton pants, of which they also make this whole soul order relax line from ISAOT, whether it be felice, cotton sweaters, nitpolos, woven shirts and pants of a range of colors and fabrics that are perfect for a guy wants to go casually in the spring and summer of this year. And here's the thing, ISOD is affordable.

Everyone listening to me talk about this brand can afford to buy it and know that there are a lot of other brands that also have a look like isode. Although I don't believe it's fun as EOD is, the brand has a lot of energy in it, but at the price points no one can compete. You can find is that at your leading retailers and online at issod dot com. Talk to you later, guys. I wish you are very happy spring and summer, and I help you by telling you. If you

wear eyesod, you're gonna look great. Welcome back, Joe Always in Fashion. Here's your host, Mark Webber. I've noticed that the world is crazy. I love observing what's going on. I love looking at my fellow humans. I love reporting on it. I'm taking poetic license this week. Apple Spotify categorize this show as cultural and lifestyle. So I'm talking cultural and lifestyle tonight. And first off, I want to talk about McDonald's. I've been

wondering should I buy McDonald's stock now? Why might you ask one thing? There's a lot of conversation about weight discrimination and weight challenge people. I think the cold fat protagonists now are winning in the court of Laura New York correctly. So they've been discriminated against and they shouldn't be. We'll talk more about that. So nothing is better than McDonald's coming and helping them out. But that's not why I'm doing it. Those of you who follows this show know

that I've been intrigued with McDonald's diet, Coke and Coke. I think they have the best soft drinks in the world. It has to do with their machinery, the cooling technique, the weight, the ratio between the syrup and the club soda. Everything about it is remarkable. And about five years ago McDonald's lowered their price on soft drinks. You could buy any size you want. You can buy a jug or a glass for dollar nine. You know,

let's hold us a minute and talk about people being protected. I think that there's a lobby now for people who wait discriminate it, and it's just that they're being protected. Having said that, it's not as simple as race and gender. In fact, Jesse hosted News Nation last week and met with one of the women who were I guess they called fat activists Jesse fat activists.

Her name is Victoria Abraham. She was the one the supporter of New York City passing this new law, this new ordinance, and you interviewed her and what happened. So just to be clear, this is a law that hasn't been passed yet, it's been approved. The mayor has to actually sign off on it. And like you said, what it would do is it would prohibit discrimination based on height and weight in employment, housing, access to

public accommodation. I think it's a great thing. When I spoke with her, the question that I had for her is is it really the same category of protected rights protected classes like race, disability, age, gender, because those are all things that don't change, Those are all things you can't control. And wait, while I understand that weight, it might be difficult for you to lose weight or gain weight. It's something that does change. Do you have this clip? I do? Can we play it? Yeah?

Let's play it? Yeah, go ahead? So yeah, again, this is from when I hosted Dan Abrams Live on News Nation the other day. Let's take a listen. We see that there are rates of discrimination that occur similarly to people of it are overweight, as well as two people who sorry with different races. Basically, we see that there are similar rates of xumination. So if people of a different way are being discommuted against, should they

not have that same protection. Well, here's the thing, right, the only difference is and look, there are people who have hormones, there are people who have genetics. There are things that they can't change. But many times with something like weight, it's something it's a lifestyle or you can make

a choice. And if the people look, when you have race or race, or age or disability, these are things out of your control and the law has to protect people from being treated unfairly when they have no control over their life. That's the thing. What's up. Have you ever been fat? I have not, So how would you know what it's like to be a fat person and whether or not that's something you can change? So there you go. She took it as if I'm trying to attack her for the

ability of someone to lose weight. All the point I was making was is that weight changes. You know what I should have said to her when she said to me, have you ever been fat? Instead of me saying no, I actually should have said to her the fact that you're asking me that question shows that weight can change. Because I'm not fat, but you are fat when you're a little boy, you're a little fat sel, chubby, chubby. But you know what happens if I would have said that, I

don't know if they would have believed me. The reason I say what the response would have been is because immediately after that interview for the next twenty four hours, I got attacked on Twitter. People were like, this host is condescending, he's rude, he doesn't understand what it means to be overweight, and that it's not easy to lose weight. I don't like being attacked.

It doesn't feel good. And I was merely asking questions that I will tell you, I am sure a lot of people were thinking the same thing and wanted it to be asked as well. I thought you were fine. I thought you were great. Actually I thought, listen, I come from a family of fat cells. I could say because I was when she should have asked me that question. She asked you, you know my favorite story. When you were young, I didn't want to walk near you anywhere. Imagine

if I said this on air, which is the truth. I was a little kid, I was chubby. We're walking on the beach and you go to me, don't walk next to me. I don't want people to know I have a fat son. That's a true story. So we were equipped to talk about This is just a bit I will tell you as follows. When I was a young kid, when I was up to twelve years old, I was fat. I had a thirty eight inch waiste. When I was twelve years old, it was a tough place to be, you know.

I would get oh, he's so cute, it's too bad he's so fat. People talked about it. I remember how it felt. I remember the first time I went shopping with my uncle to Barneys. They lived in Manhattan in seventeen Street, and you right near Barneys. They were on twenty Street. We walked to Barneys. We went there and he looked at me. He loved me. He wanted to treat me nice, buy me a suit. Nothing fit. I had to buy a husk. I wanted to shoot myself, but as it turned out, my parents took me away to

the Catskill Mountains that summer. We went on a holiday. We rented what was called a bungalow. We're part of a bungalow camp where people from outside the city all rented these little cottages and they all stayed together, eight together. There were shows every week, kind of like the movie Dirty Dancing. We were in that kind of community. And I met a girl I never

forgot her name. Her name was Leslie Frank. She lived in Queens and I remember all summer long, I liked her and I chased after me the fats And when I got home, I had a twenty six inch waist. I lost twelve inches in my waist from running around, not having time to eat and just being active, and I lost the weight. So I went from knowing what it was like to be a FATS to not being. And I subscribe to this day to Kate Morse's theory that nothing tastes as good as

skinny feels. Now I've shared with the audience, I went up to as high as two hundred and eighteen pounds in twenty fourteen. As the story goes, I had a really bad cold. I had a sinus infection. I went to my doctor. They asked me to get on the scale, and I said to the nurse who was weighing me, whatever you do, do not tell me what I weigh. The paper that the doctor gave me on the prescription and all the details of the visit, which included the weight,

I handed it to my wife. I said, whatever you do, don't tell me what the weight is. I'm going on a diet. I went on a diet. Four weeks later, I get on the scale. He said to my wife, what did I weigh? She said, you weighed two hundred and eight pounds. I got on the scale. Four weeks later, I weighed two hundred and nine pounds. I was devastated. I went to my wife. I said, I don't know what to do. She

started to laugh. I said, that's funny, said, when you asked me what you weighed the first time after you went on the diet, I looked at the paper wrong. It was two eighteen, not two o eight. But I went on a tear and I lost fifty seven pounds. I made it my business. As I said, I went on a diet as if I was a Navy seal. I knew it wasn't gonna be fun. I knew if I didn't feel hungry, I wasn't losing weight. But you get to a point. With tomatoes taste as good as chocolate cake, with

cucumbers taste as good as Frankfurtus. Losing weight is one thing. Gaining weight is another. And the problem with weight challenge people is people discriminate because they think it's within your control. They see you, and they don't understand why you would be like that, and why you don't take care of it, and why don't you have the discipline to deal with it? Now? Is that fair? No? Do you get mocked? Yes? Are you taking

advantage of Yes? Is any of that fair? No? And Jesse and I we applaud this new law that we hope will get signed by the mayor to make sure that people who are weight challenge are not discriminated against. And with that, I'll say stop attacking me too. Okay. I think this is a great thing. I think it's a long time coming. Believe it or not. There's only six cities in the United States that have the same kind of law in the books one state. Michigan's the only state in the

country that has weight discriminate. I think this is a good start and we'll see where it goes. Well. Before we leave this, I have a question for you. So, if I'm a receptionist and I'm overweight, can I be fired in any other of the states that don't have this. It's a great question in a state that doesn't have this on the books. Technically, yes, I'm selling men's suits. I'm the boss of the thing. I look at my salesman. I'm selling suits. The skinny guy. This

guy's overweight. I don't like the way he looks. I can fire him just because he's fat. Yes see, that's what's not fair. Anyway. I think it's fascinating. This has come up. Back to McDonald's. Before we leave this, I was saying to you before that I'm thinking about buying McDonald's stock. Now, those of you out there even considering listening to be pleased, do not. I'm trying to make a point. I've added this thing with diet coke for a very long time. About five years ago,

McDonald's made a deal. I said to the consumer, any size soft junk you buy is a dollar nine. And I'd be going into McDonald's for the last five years handing them a dollar ten. And they don't give me my penny back. And I've done a few shows that talk about this, where I don't mind spending money, I hate wasting it. If I pay a dollar one, I expect my change. And what drove me crazy. I would walk in, they wouldn't give me a pennyback. I'd ask for it,

They'd get angry, they have to reopen the register. Goal over there, Boy, give me the penny. And I said, let me ask you a question. If I came here and give you a dollar eight, would you take it? Just? Probably not? How about a dollar seven? Absolutely not? So why aren't I entitled to my penny? And I've been on and on and on indiscriminately as far as I can tell about three weeks ago, I go into McDonald's. I go to pay my dollar nine.

It's now a dollar forty nine plus tax a dollar sixty two. So what I've been paying a dollar nine for is now a dollar sixty two. If you think about all the millions and millions of people that visit McDonald's on a daily basis, a weekly basis, a monthly basis, who are now paying fifty cents more for every soft drink they purchase. Could you imagine how much money McDonald's is now going to earn on top of what they did. Go ask your stockbroke with that. I've noticed this as well. Take a

break back in a minute. Always in Fashion spent a lifetime of my career building the van Usen brand, and I am so pleased that they're back with us now. Talking about suits, men, we're dressing up again and it's become cool to wear a suit. Suits can be one on multiple occasions in multiple ways. You can wear a suit formally to go out at night or to an event, to wear a suit to the office with or without a tie if you look closly. Now fashion trends, suits are being worn with

turtlenecks or mocknecks. The choices are endless and every one of them looks right. You could really really look the part. I believe that packaging yourself this is important. Does the products you package and wearing a suit is one of those things that make men look their best. Venus and invented a new idea. It's called the cool Flex suit. It's been engineered with stretched technology, giving you the most comfortable fit and mobility. It's wrinkle resistant fabric, it's

cool moisture wicking. It makes it perfect for all occasions. As we discussed just now, this new style of looking sharp while feeling cool and comfortable is amazing, and I'm so excited that the van using company is involved in this new technology and is embracing the whole idea of dressing up. Let's not forget venues and made its name with dress shirts. It's only proper that the suit business follows strongly in its way. You can find venues in cool Flex Men's

stretch suits at jc Penny are online at jcpenny dot com. Guys, they're great. You should go look at them. Welcome back to Always in Fashion. Here's your host, Mark Webber this is always in fashion. And even though I set him to call this show noticed and deal with cultural and lifestyle, I am going to talk about fashion for a minute. This week was Mother's Day. It's great. Went to an event. Five hundred people there, all differently dressed, from guys in sport cuts to guys in shorts and

sandals. There was no set rules, anything goes. That's what I found amazing about the whole thing. Now, the women, some would dress well, some were not, but all had their own style and it went from very dressed to very casual, from white shorts or white jeans to printed dresses, to high heel shoes to flats to sneakers. Women they knew how to put themselves together. And while everything's not my taste, I get it.

And the men went from horrible to worse than horrible, too unimaginable, with a handful of people that actually looked right or looked good at what they would do. It's amazing to think of workers who wear suits and try and represent companies that don't fit. The pantcil long and dragging, hanging over the belly. I mean, there's so much going on it's unbelievable. By and large.

It got me thinking. I noticed all of this that I thought of thinking about dressing and had a couple of thoughts, where do we get our idea and sense of what fashion should be? When our company bought the ISOD company back in nineteen ninety seven, ISOD was purchased by then Phillips van Using company I was asked to run. It gave me my interest in golf that stays until today. Had a huge golf company that I had to take over and manage and build and don't if I get the attention to detail that went

into designing and manufacturing ISOD golfware. First thing I had to consider was what fit do I want those days? You know, I recognize that a lot of golfers were overweight, and therefore we should have a generous fit. The shirts should be extra long so they don't come out of your pants when you're playing. I learned very early on that our shirts were shrinking before we bought the company, and I had my key manufacturing quality. Guys, tell me,

what's a story? And cotton shrinks no matter what you do to it, three to five percent in the length, not the width. Nothing ever shrinks in the width. It torqus t o rquees mean the seams will turn based on the way it's washed and whatever. But unless you're a quality connoisseur, you're not going to know what I'm referring to. But in the length they shrink three inches four inches five to pins. Really, I realized that they shrinks no matter what I do, so I had to overcut them so

they shrank into size. And from a design point of view, I had my eyes on Ralph Lauren. They were the greatest purveyors of traditional modern clothing. When I say traditional modern, I mean that they're not black, they're not gray, they're not white. There Ralph florin navy, red, white and colors, very colorful, fun stuff, and that's who ISOD was. And I decided to make isaot like Ralph traditional, but with more fun, with the pinks, the greens, the grays, big logos, big words,

big everything, bigger than life. All the advertising was done with guys golfing over canyons off boats in the middle of the water, with degradable balls on the top of mountains in the snow. It was an extraordinary experience. We went to the most beautiful places in Hawaii and California, Miami to film on golf courses that were scenic and beautiful. And then I go to the golf course and seeing the guys that I'm trying to outfit, and they were

horrendous. All the time and attention and love that I went into making isod beautiful. My sons loved it. I loved it, our customers loved it. And then I would see it on the or soon I would get incredibly disappointed. If it wasn't for bad taste, there'd be no taste at all. Where do you get this from? You ever see the movie The Incredible Benjamin Button? Is that the name of it? The Curious Case of Benjamin Button? Brad Pitt? Yeah? You ever see that movie? Jesse?

Oh? Yeah, I love that movie. Great movie. I caught it the other day. There is no human being more good looking than Brad Pitt. I suppose you could find some women that are really incredible. I'll give you my list. Margot, Robbie and half Away, Justin Beaver's wife. That's it. Who am I missing? There's a lot, but I know your point. Brad Pitt's amazing looking. Yeah, I think Brad is more

beautiful in all of them. Anyway, I'm watching the movie Benjamin Button and there's a scene where his love of his life, what's her name, Kate, Kate Blanchet. Yeah, she's getting older, he's getting younger. And he's off on a boat by himself, traveling around the world because he's exploring life, and he is in a melancholy mood. And finally he misses his life back home. He misses her, he misses his mom, and he

decides to sail back home. And on the boat, he's wearing light color khaki's boat shoes, a white T shirt, and pale yellow v NEX sweater. I was so taken aback by how he looked in that yellow v NEX sweater. I started hunting for six months for yellow VNX to try and match it. I ended up buying six of them, and finally, in the end, I bought one that looked just like it. I ended up buying two of them because if I ruined one, I wanted it. Well.

I got to ask you a billion dollar question, did you look just like Brad Pitt? Well? You see here in lies the problem. I had the tan, I had the long hair, slim, I had the right pants, the right sweater, the white T shirt. I put it all on and I didn't look like Brad Pitt, and it the press the heck out of me. I have no business wearing a light yellow sweater. It isn't my look. But that's not the point. The point is I looked at him as my role model, and I tried, and I didn't look

like him. I can't look like him, but I tried. And where is this leading? Two people have come to mind that are either in place at a company or looking for jobs that we know, and both of them have forgotten how important it is to look their best. You know, the show packaging yourself. This is important as the products your package. If you're in a company and you want to excel, it shouldn't matter how you look, but it does. It shouldn't matter how you talk, but it does.

It shouldn't matter how you put sentences together, but it does. The way you frame your concepts, all of these things matter. It's not fair. The world's not fair. I mean, if it's up to me, I'd look like Brad Pitt, but I don't. But I know I have to look my best. And these two guys that I'm thinking of, one is currently employed, and the other is looking for fagot high shine? What is high shine? I work with a guy named Kenneth Wise, who's the

president of licensing at PVH. I remember one time we were talking about our licensee who are friends of OZ who made belts and small leather goods. And I remember talking to the president and saying, look, you're a great company, but you need high shine. You walk into these showrooms, I'm depressed. You look at the office complex, I'm depressed. You have the finest retailers in America walking through that you can want to convince to buy your product.

You need high shine. It's important. And the owner of the company took it to heart and read it his entire operation, and he made it high shine. And today, if they're not the largest small leather goods in belt company in America, they are one of the closest. And they went into other businesses as well. They bought pant companies, they bought sportswear companies. They have high shine, Which brings me back to these guys. You're out there, you're looking for work. Guys, you're at work. I

go back untill we were talking about before. There's something to be said for being fit and looking fit. I don't will expect you to have your college weight, but I expect you to do your best to look right. If you're going to be playing to win, your clothes have to fit you right. You can't have your button straining. You have to have a shirt to fit you. If you're a little overweight, your pants can't drag. Your jackets have to be tailored. Your shoes have to be shined, and the

heels can't be worn down. You have to make an effort. If Brad Pitt's not your idol, find out who is. Very often it's the owners of the company or the presidents of company. They set the dress code for companies. Look at them. If not, there's plenty of examples, there's plenty of ads, there's plenty of places where you could look for suit dressing. Right now, my favorite place for suits is a suit supply, as is yours just right. I mean, their collection is always great, it's

fresh, it's new. I love it. It's fantastic service. People need some work. They treat you like you're not wealthy enough to be there, and yet you're the one buying it because you are wealthy enough and they're working there. And by the way, this isn't like Armani. This isn't like Purple Label Ralph Lauren. They've charge a good amount, but they're not like Couture. They need to calm down a little bit. Well and to night we're talking about Notice this is a good example. I also like Ralph Lauren

for suits. So guys, you're looking, but here's a personal You have hair. Find a hairstyle that works for you. If you're going to have a beer a scrubble, you have to make it look like you care, not like you're sitting at home. I remember I wrote the book Dressed Casually for Success for men. Work doesn't disappear a competition in the work, Pella says, it disappear because it's casual Friday or casual every day. You have

to shave, you have to look shop. If you're not going to shave, whatever you're leaving, whatever scrubble has to look like you care, not like you didn't give it any thought unless you're in Silicon Valley. Except every time I see one of Apple's presentations, everyone is spit shine. So these two guys, they're not doing it. They're not looking their best and it made me think about on a night noticed, on a day that we're talking

about, what's the future of the world being noticed. I have to tell you you need high shine from your shoes to the top of your head. You have to look like you gave it some thought. You're making an impression. Either you're on the job and you're competing with everyone else, and even though you're smarter, you have to look the part. You have to act the part. And if you're looking for a job, if you don't look like the next person who could make that boss who's hiring someone successful, you're

wasting your time and effort. You're going to be noticed. I'll take a break back in a minute. Always in fashion, I've been shopping for fun lately, and while I'm out, I always look at men's and I look at women's. What's going on? And I was particularly interested in Decay and Why because of their sponsorship of the show. I went down downstairs at Macy's thirty fourth Street to look around, and I saw a ky active where and I promise you, ladies, it is sensational. From the sports braus to

the crop tops, to the leggings and the sweats. It really is a great look. And dk Andy had begun as an all American brand dressing casual clothes engines, and the stuff looks incredible and right now the colors and the styles is so exciting that I feel great about the company. I always do. I wear the men's wear all the time. I've had situations where I've gone to big events and been interviewed in TV or radio and someone comes up

to me the microphone and like they always do, who you're wearing? And here I am, this big shot with a big company and they say, well, I'm wearing a DKY and they laugh and say, no, you're not. Actually have one on the internet where you could see me. They asked me what suit I'm wearing, and I see Dy had opened it up and there's the dk Andy label. Great fashion, it fits well, it looks right. It's designed to make you comfortable in the city, goes from

day and tonight. You can wear it in the morning, wear in the afternoon, and you look cool at night as well. It's great for the office. Is great Felisia, But I'm talking about the dcmy activewear. The first time I really became aware of Jesse and I were up at Sirius Radio. He was doing a job for Serious He does Dan Abrams show. He fills in on the Potus network, and we're in the lobby and this hip

hop group came up. Well, this really great looking Latino singer girl young, beautiful, and she's wearing a dkm Y sports bar and I said to myself, this is amazing. Actually went to Macy's to see it, and I'm excited about the brand. And I'll tell you what, ladies, dk Y always has great fashion for work, always wonderful dresses and things that you'd

wear. Their accessories are great, the shoes are always very cool. But activewear in particular right now looks sensational and being that everyone's affleisure in activewear, it's a great time dcmy go take a look. Carl Lagafeld, Paris at Macy's or Carlgafel dot com. Welcome back, Joe Always in Fashion. Here's your host, Mark Webber. I've noticed can't help it being out in the back. Can't help it being out and about. You see things, you observe things. Some things make you angry, some things make you

sad. Something's make me laugh out loud. I've been thinking about my place in the world. Hopefully on this radio show and podcast, I'm helping all of you come to your own conclusions. I did come across a quote that I thought was very interesting. If your absence doesn't bother them, then your presence never meant anything to them. I talk to all of you who are in business. If you don't take care of your customers. They're not going

to remember you. You don't mean anything to them. They won't be back. If you're not a good role model to your friends, your family, your absence won't bother them because your presence never meant anything to them. I've noticed when you do right, you do right by yourself. With that, i've noticed all of you. Good Night,
