This show is produced and hosted by Mark Webber. The show is sponsored by G three of Peril. The views expressed in the following program are those of the sponsor and not necessarily the opinion of sevent ten wo r or iHeartMedia. Who is Mark Webber. He's a self made business executive here to help you find your success. From the New York City projects to the Avenue Montaigne in Paris. His global success story in the luxury world of fashion is inspirational.

He's gone from clerk to CEO twice. Mark is classic proof that the American dream is alive and well, here's your host of Always in Fashion, Mark Webberber. Everyone is annoying except me. I'm perfect. No one else. You're all annoying. You're setting your ways and you're opinionated. You're arrogant, you're often wrong, never in doubt. You watch the news. You're a world leader. Now. Now, don't get me wrong. If I don't know you, I don't care. If I don't interact with you, so

be it. Enjoy yourself. It's just that it seems every human I talk to or talks to me annoying. You never notice in every walk of life every endeavor, every phone call, every encounter, every service person, every TV comment to every news correspondent, actor, actress, podcaster. They're being interviewed annoying. Uber drivers, cab drivers, pedestrians are annoying. The worst

in New York City, the bicycles. They're all freaking annoying. Used to be able to look left and see where the cars were coming, all right, Now you got to look like three heads. You have to look behind you everywhere. They're so freaking annoying. Don't get me started. Everyone you work with is annoying. They're unhappy. They're waiting for anyone to offend them so they could step up and be outraged. They're angry. They have to be there. I can't take it. The world has become annoying. Let's

see who's annoying. This week, Fouci went from saint to sinner. By the way, if you listen to this rhetoric, this stuff, COVID was a figment of our imagination. Now it was nothing so easy to say that. Now got hit with a plague was spreading rapidly the world. The US government how to figure out what to do anyway. This week, Fouci went from Saint to Sinner annoying? And then, oh, my goodness, have you watched our president? Have you listened to Kamala? Have you listened to

the Hunter stuff? Jean Pierre and what everything she has to say is crazy crazy? Everything he's going on is normal, is crazy speaking crazy? Ravan F. Kennedy Junior this week has either got the facts right or he's insane. How annoying? Everyone is annoying? How in the world could anyone criticize put America first? And they do what country does and put itself first?

What business doesn't put itself first. I've never met a supplier, a retailer, a manufacturer in my career who gave me favorable terms at their expense. Every penny is hard fought over. It's annoying that we have this attitude. Everything I heard this week was annoying. That became tonight's show. Everyone is annoying now speaking annoying, my lawyer, my co host, and my son Jesse Webber. Hey, Jess, you're calling me annoying. Now, No,

I just brought you in at the appropriate time. Don't be annoying. What would you say if I said you were annoying? How would you feel all right, don't get your back up, mister Jesse Webber. It's not about us. Okay, Well, what a second you want to talk about annoying? Mister? I can't make a decision on anything you don't think that's annoying? And what does that mean? By the way, I don't make decisions. I bet you can't even give me an example. I don't think

you want to go there. Why don't we just move on? No, you made him statement. Give me an example. You can't. All right, I'm sure the audience already knows that you have trouble making decisions, but this is a recent one. I asked you last week what time do you want to play golf this weekend? And you said to me, quote, you decide anytime works for me. So I made a tea time of nine fifteen in the morning and you write me that's too early. It is,

okay? So then what do I do? I make eleven forty five and then you write me that's too late. You want to talk about annoying. That's annoying. For the purpose of this discussion, let's get into what got me thinking about this right now? Your wife? Wait, where is this going? Now? I don't like this. Your wife was incredibly annoying the other night at Dinna. Okay, first you attack me, now you attack my wife. I didn't attack you. You're annoying. I just mentioned I

brought you in. You assumed its attacking here. I can't wait to hear this. You share it to the whole audience. How my wife is annoying? I just hope she's not listening live tonight. That's what I hope. Too bad. I don't debate style with your new missus, let alone anyone in the world for that matter. What are you talking about Friday night? What you do? I hosted Dan Abrams show on News Nation. I love that. That's one of my favorite things to do. I thought it went

absolutely terrific. You get good feedback, excellent feedback. People love the show. They said to me, they want me to do it more often. I love seeing you on that show major news network. I'm loving it. You're there in the beginning and developing. I love it. And you look so professional on screen. Okay, where we were going with this? Yeah, your hair is long, it was silky. It looked amazing. You look different from all those other guys. You just have your own look,

and I told you that at Dinah. I appreciate that. But are we talking about my hair now? No, Conceptionally you said it was too long, you needed a haircut. I do, I do. I think it's a little outrageous. But you said I don't know what I'm talking about. That's what you said exactly. And then the new wife pops in and said,

I like Jesse with shorter hair. She's entitled to her opinion, not one with discussing the business, or if that business fashion in this case, always in fashion, to ceo, jobs, to books, radio podcast. I don't debate packaging yourself with anyone, let alone your wife. Well, I will tell you people in the industry have said my hair is too long, and they said it's better short. She's not wrong. If you want to talk about business, a lot of people say anchor should have shorter hair.

You know, if Chris Como says it to you, Dan Abrams says it to you, you know what. I'll listen, but I won't listen to anybody else. Okay, even if they say it, I'm going to argue with you. You have a look. It was amazing, You're so handsome with the blue eyes. You just look great. And here we are debating at dinner with your wife. All right, I'll tell you what. In the interest of let's call it common sense, happy wife, happy life. So let's move on from this. Where did you get the idea for

tonight's show from your wife? At dinner? She's annoying? Ever think that maybe you're annoying? No? All right, okay, now that that's settled, the truth be known. She said, everyone's annoying, and that got me thinking, and it got me into this week, which drove me crazy. Someone, not just your wife, who shall remain nameless, has been chasing me to meet them and me, I'm not agreeing to set a meeting. I've been avoiding humans as most people these days. It got heated,

started yelling at me. I couldn't believe this person's yelling at me. He called to mind the show we did in March. I sent it to them just to make a point. And here's what it said on the show. I opened up with this. I loved it. They'll try and pin me down. Don't even think about trying to make plans with me. I won't meet you anywhere at any time. You have better chance bumping into me. I'm gonna point in my life that I want to be free for you to do what I want, with whom I want, when I want. I

can't be forced, threatened, pushed into anything. I refuse to make decisions. It's impossible for me to make up my mind. I wasn't always this way, but this is the way I am now. So this person trying to pin me down and set up a business meeting, I just couldn't do it. And that got me thinking. And from that on, between your wife saying everybody's annoying and this person trying to tie me down, boom, that's where the show came from. You know, they would look at you

and say you're annoying because they can't commit you to anything. Everyone's annoying except me, of course, only you are perfect. Don't be annoying. We'll take a break, we'll come back, and we'll explore this subject in great detailing. Now any of you turn away, You're annoying anyone who's not enjoying this. You're annoying anyone who doesn't see the benefit of staying tune to always in fashion, even through the commercials, which I think are interesting. You're

annoying, take a break back in a minute. Always in fashion. As one of the world's most celebrated fashion designers, Carlagafeld was renowned for his aspirational and cutting edge approach to style. His unique vision of Parisian ship comes to America through Carlagafeld Paris. He has women's collections, men's collections, ready to wear, accessory, shoes and bags. The fashion house Carlagafeld also offers a

range of watches. I wearing premium fragrances. You can explore the Carlogofelle collection at Carlogofel Powis dot com. But it's more than that. I, for one, love to shop. I love going around and seeing what's happening and what catches my attention, what would make me feel good to wear now. I don't wear the women's wear obviously, but I can appreciate it and may look amazing. If you want to look right, you want to have clothes

that fits you well. You want to look like you're wearing something that's very expensive, that's exclusive for you and yours. You can find it at very affordable prices at Macy's Socarlogofel dot com Paris. The women's ready to wear fashion is extraordinary, as well as the handbags and the shoes. If one wear men's clothes on like my appreciation of women's clothes. I'm a modern guy. I want to look current, I want to look the way I want to

feel. I go out at night, I'm in black and Carlagafeld is my buddy. Calls are great. They fit great, and they have little tweaks and touches, whether it's a stripe on the sleeve or button at the neck or on the shoulder. There's a lot of details that go into Carlagafeld because he's always been, he always had been one of the world's great designers, and this legacy and goes on and on. I can't speak enough about it except to say to you, you want to feel good about yourself. You

want to know that you're dressing properly. You want to close that fits you well. Carl Lagafeld Paris at Macy's or Karlgafel dot com. My favorite brand has always been ISOD. My company at one time bought that brand. The CEO of the company handed it to me and said, you better make it work. And I put everything in my career to make EYESOD work and I fell in love with that brand and to this day it is one of the most exciting endeavors I've ever got involved with. ISOD is an incredibly strong golf

brand. If you play golf, if you play tennis. For that man, how they make a great polo shirts? I mean great, They're fit perfect. The material is unique because it's a PK fabric that waffle weave, you see, and it's made of a blend of cotton and microfiber that allows you to stretch. And very often they are treated with solo protection as well, so they stretch, they're comfortable, and they breathe well. And one thing about ISA they always fit. They'll never tug on you. You put

it in your waist, they'll fit you great. The colors, patterns are sensational. Now I will also tell you ISOD makes great shorts and great golf pants. You're a golfer and you want to look good. You don't want to have to think about how do I look. You want to think about how you play, not how you feel. ISOD is the brand for you. I know I was there when it was created. The strategy behind that

brand is brilliant. It's one of my favorite brands. Well I talk about I should tell you about the Man's Sports, where Isod wasn't enough being a golf brand, it wasn't enough being just great polo shirts with logos, without logos, Incredible brands in story and history. Isaad makes salt weather programs.

They have great printed woven shirts, short sleeves that look excellent with colors, excellent with shorts, excellent with cotton pants, of which they also make this whole salt order relax line from Isaad, whether it be felice, cotton sweaters, nitpolos, woven shirts and pants of a range of colors and fabrics that are perfect for a guy wants to go casually in the spring and summer of

this year and he is. The thing Isod is affordable. Everyone listening to me talk about this brand can afford to buy it and know that there are a lot of other brands that also have a look like isode. Although I don't believe it's fun as eyes is. The brand has a lot of energy in it, but at the price points no one can compete. You can find eyes that at your leading retails and online at eyesod dot com. Talk

to you later. Guys. I wish you a very happy spring and summer, and I help you by telling you if you were eyesod, you're gonna look great. Welcome back to Always in Fashion. Here's your host, Mark Webber. This week tough week. Everyone's annoying. Everybody drives me crazy. Everyone is annoying. But nothing in this country is more annoying than the political situation we find ourselves in. We can't agree on anything, and the only

thing that seems to get people excited is Donald Trump. You either hate them or you love them, And by the way, yeah, that's people on both sides, and then they get excited to hate him or they get excited to love him. Yeah, it's crazy. Let's say, Karnan talk about Trump, and let's talk about annoying. Jesse, you find an annoying that everyone was trying to indict Trump. I hate the idea that our former president,

current frontrunner for the Republican nomination is facing this. I think it's terrible for the country. But at the same token, what he did is really bad. Can't just ignore it. He can't just say this is all political. And I could get into all the reasons why I don't think it's political. Which indictment are we talking about right now? Forget about New York? Okay, let's just talk about the documents investigation for a second. Okay, So, first of all, this guy brings this charges against him, And

it wasn't that Trump had documents. That wasn't the bad part. It's that he refused to turn them over. It's that he had his lawyers lie on his behalf. Big freaking deal. We got politicians who's still holding documents. So they rated his house in Moral Lago and they took his stuff. End of subject. They got it. It's a crime. What do you want me to say? It's not a crime, which is the crime that they had to raid him, or the fact that he had the documents? Spiden

has documents, but he never refused to turn him back over. But they got him. See, you want to put him in prison. I don't want our former president in prison. I don't want the optics of it. But what do you want me to say? Just turn a blind eye. I don't want you to say anything. I'm saying what I want to say. Like them, hate him, love him, whatever the case may be. They wanted the documents he tried to hold them. They got him, end of subject. If this was anyone else, would they be going to

trial on this? Would they be indicted? No way you say that. But I don't know, okay. In the history of the United States, what are we two hundred and forty years old? Does anyone ever president ever been indicted multiple times? Has anyone ever got in trouble for holding documents? I mean, I don't want to get into it. I don't know what happened to thirty three thousand documents Hillary Clinton had? She destroyed them. Where

is the marching her off to indictment? They looked into that and they said that there was no criminal intent behind You could disagree or not, but at least they gave an answer. What happened to the washing and the bleaching and the hammers and this and that? It seems a little excessive. Don't you think that was the name of a software that was used. It wasn't like it was actually whitewashing. There's a lot of miscommunication about what actually happened there.

You can't just erase things from your computer that easy. They don't disappear, okay, And why erase them? It is annoying But what you can't do is just say, oh, just forget about it the next one, okay, whatever summer it was twenty twenty one where all the riding was going on, stores being burnt down, people being hurt or killed. People got arrested for that? Oh please, they did. They got arrested and charged. Please. Did we arrest the mayor of Portland for allowing it to go

on and them occupy the city? Did we arrest them, did we indict them? Did we do anything to fight back? Or we just allowed it to go on? You could say that's a dereliction of duty, but it's not like he did something illegal dereliction of duties. So were they removed from office? Was there a discussion of a grand jury? By the way, there have been high profile Democrats who have been criminally charged, who have been investigated by the FBI. So it's not like it's just all against people on

the right or conservatives of Republicans. It doesn't work that way. Look, there's a lot of problems in government, it's sure, But I'm talking right now about rioters in these cities, things going crazy. Do you remember what it was like in New York? Every single store had to be boarded up and locked down. I was living through it. It was terrible. It was like mad Max. I hated every second of it. Okay, So

was the mayor convicted? Was he put under trial? No? No, you're you're saying his defense should be Well, a lot of people there were all those riots, so Trump should be we should just forget about what he did. It doesn't work so simple. Look, will he be found guilty? I have no idea, but I'll tell you. You can't ignore what the facts are. He had an aid of his deliberately moved boxes to hide it from the government. That's what he's accused of doing. He could defend

himself say it didn't happen. But that's a big that's a serious allegation. They got all the documents. This is so annoying. What can I say? And you know, people accuse me of liking Trump. This is not about liking Trump. It's about watching what's going on, and the optics of it are terrible. Everyone who is a Trump feels he's being unfairly treated. Wait a minute, if they come out tomorrow and they want to bring charges

against Biden for documents, you'd have no issue with it. If they came out and said we want to consider indicting him for holding documents far back is when he was a senator, when he was a vice president, etc, Etc. Etc. Why not. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it. I don't like them doing it to Trump. I wouldn't like them

doing it to Biden. I'd believe they ought to change the rules when it comes to documents and say that if you're going to talk about it being treason, then you ought to have some very clear understanding of what needs to be done or don't. But I wouldn't start now. If you got to start on Trump, then you have to handle all of them. It wasn't that he had the documents, it was holding onto them when he shouldn't, and it was obstructing an investigation. Oh blowney, So what I'm just making the

point. And then in terms of January six and these other charges, the idea was is that he was instrumental in having fake electors being inserted, trying to have him be the president, having Mike Pennce step in to make sure the votes weren't certified. These are serious allegations here about what happened, Okay, and if he really believed as president in the United States, the election was rigged. It wasn't fair, there was wrongdoing going on, and trying

to figure it out. I have no problem with that. So your defense was that he thought the election was stolen. He had every right to investigate, He had every right to see what was going on. Everybody was telling him categorically, there's nothing here. There's no election fraud. Every one of his cases was losing. He just didn't want to accept it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. When you're an executive and you're a CEO, you get

input from all kinds of people before you make a decisions. But in the and you believe what you believe, and if you are good at what you do, you're going to pursue your beliefs and enforce your will if you can, until you are comfortable that you get the right answer. You want to play that game. Okay, So you head of a big public company, all right, the share price is in the tubes, but you're gonna go out and say no, no, no, no, no, no,

it's great. No, that's different. No, because he lost the election and didn't accept it and then goes out and say the numbers are false. Wall Street's false. I mean, like that's what you're saying. It's the same thing. No, if you take it at face value. He believed that the election was rigged, and therefore, as American as the president, he was going to find out one way or another if it was, and he was going to push conjole and see whether he can get an answer.

You ask me about a ceo. If his stock is tanking, if his company's not doing well, he has an obligation to search his own soul and ask himself was it because of him? Does he have the answers to fix it? And if not, step down. But you have to accept that the stock price isn't doing well. He didn't even accept that he lost. He lived in reality where he thought he won in the election was stolen, even there was no evidence to back it up. Then put him in a

sane asylum, not try him for treason. I want to talk about this a little bit more. Okay, this week Trump had a town hall with Sean Hannity. Did you get to see it? I didn't. Actually. Now, look, Sean Hannity is a Trump advocate supporter. I don't know what you would call it, but you can clearly know that he believes everything that Trump does is right, and he's really all Trump all the way. Okay, I get it. And their audience was probably one hundred percent Trump

bias. I get it. Those are town halls that are rigged because you don't have enough of the other side. It's one way. It kind of reminds me of another party. But I don't want to go there. He was so lucid, and when he talks about issues, hate him. Go right ahead. There's so much stuff that comes out of his mouth that I hate. He makes me cringe. There's so many things I think make me uncomfortable. I wish I could whisper his ear and Shay, shut the hell

up. Don't you know how to talk? Don't you know how to defend yourself? But he has something Mark Levin, he said to him, as the president, you had an outstanding presidency. But it doesn't appear so because those people in Washington. You rock the boat, you shook up the system. You said what no one else would say, and it didn't work, and they will not let it stand. But over the test of time, your history will prove that you have the right answers. And That's where I'm

at On the subject of annoying. I believed in his policies. Now you might think Trump is despicable. I get it, But let's change the subject slightly. Is that okay with you? Unless you want to say something, I want to change it slightly. By the way, this has nothing to do with his policies. Whether he did great things for the country and made us stronger. That's a perfectly fine, reasonable conversation to have about politics.

And I don't disagree with you. Tell me one Democratic person who stood up and said Trump's ideas many of them are great. Oh this is not saying Democrats are good, not at all. They're terrible. They're worse things than even people on the right. That's not what it is. They're never going to give Trump credit for anything. Do you think people have faith in our government right now? Do you think people have faith in the FBI? Now?

Do you think people have faith in the Supreme Court? Now? Do you think the institutions of our country are protected and respected the way they should be? Well? No, because everybody is making arguments based on emotion without fact. If they listen carefully and without saying, oh my goodness, the FBI is corrupt, Oh my goodness. The Supreme Court is corrupt without actually looking at each decision and what they've done. Of course, that's why people

don't have faith. But that's why it's a good thing to have an honest conversation about what's really happened. And I rest my case. Everyone is annoying. Now before I leave anywhere, I just want to change the dialogue a little bit. Cocaine in the White House. Is there anyone who believes that there's not a camera and there's not fingerprints associated with that cocaine? Now, I have no idea how it got there. I have no idea whose it

is. I do not believe it's Hunter Biden. But how convenient is it? It's open hunting season on Hunter Biden and be talking about open hunting season. You know, it drives me crazy when these people talk. There's politicians get up. The American people won't stand for that. How do they speak for the American people when the American people are three hundred million plus all over the country. We know it's divided. It drives me crazy. I'm loving

this say the American people are in favor of our war with Ukraine? Are we in favor of this war? Are we voting in the United States here that we want this war to continue? Was there a way to avoid it? Was there another way to conduct it or end it? Where is it saying the American people are okay that guess has not seen anything below four dollars and twenty cents and who knows how long. Now, don't get me wrong, it's a noble effort to try and keep Ukraine free. Where are the

Europeans? Where is their money? Why are we involved? Why is it our war? I don't believe we should have Russia as our enemy. Have said it all along on the subject of this inflation? Is there an American that these politicians are speaking for us? Americans understand inflation. We understand why everything is through the roof. We understand why there's supply issues. We understand the American people know the American people are understanding this. I never heard anyone

say that is you're paying that fair share. Nope, it's our debt, our, bombs, death and destruction. I don't think the American people lear in favor of this. Biden one annoying. I have something I want to point out. Are we forgetting that in order to avoid either a two cent or ten cent gas hike when it's already over foot dollars a gallon. That the Biden administration. President Biden depleted our national oil reserves. They used up

on going us our oil. I heard the other day, and it's been reported by many reliable sources that we're running out of bullets, that the United States doesn't have enough bullets to wage war. God forbid it should happen because we've put them all in the Ukraine. Forget the death and destruction. So we depleted our oil reserves. Now we depleted our bullet supply and bomb supply. Is this crazy? We're allowing illegal immigrants to flood the country at crazy

rates. We're parking them in cities with no place to go. We have some governors sending immigrants to other cities, sanctuary cities. This is a disaster. Our education is declining where I think twenty third in the world now we used to be number one or two. So I have a question. If there was a spy in the United States trying to influence policy or ruin the country, could he do a better job than this administration is doing. And all I have to ask you, and they're trying Trump for treason. This

is annoying. I'll take a break back in a minute. Always in Fashion spent a lifetime of my career building the Van Yusen brand, and I am so pleased that they're back with us now talking about suits, men, we're dressing up again and it's become cool to wear a suit. Suits can be one on multiplicasions in multiple ways. You could wear a suit for only to go out at night or to an event, to wear a suit to the office with or without a tie. If you look closely, now fashion trends

suits are being warm with turtlenecks or mocknecks. The choices are endless, and every one of them looks right. You could really really look the part. I believe that packaging yourself this is important. Does the products you package and wearing a suit is one of those things that make men look their best. Venues and invented a new idea. It's called the cool flex suit. It's been engineered with stretched technology, giving you the most comfortable fit and mobility.

It's wrinkle resistant fabric, it's cool moisture wicking. It makes it perfect for all occasions. As we discussed just now, this new style of looking shop while feeling cool and comfortable is amazing, and I'm so excited that the venusing company is involved in this new technology and is embracing the whole idea of dressing up. Let's not forget venues and made its name with dress shirts. It's

only proper that the suit business follows strongly in its way. You can find venues in cool flex Men's stretched suits at JC Penny or online at jcpenny dot com. Guys, they're great. You should go look at them. Welcome back to Always in Fashion. Here's your host, Mark Webber. Tonight, i'm talking annoying to me. Everyone's annoying except May of course, but everyone's annoying. I want to talk a little bit about a business example. One

of my expertise is licensing. It's the concept of renting your name to a company who is experienced in a particular industry. Know how they use your name, and they expand your brand. So, for instance, if I believed sunglasses would be good for my brand, If I can find a great sunglass maker that would put my brand on sunglasses and they would make the right quality in the right distribute, you shouldn't it with enhance the value of my company

and pay me money because I'm renting the brand. I do this, and I make a deal, and I've done them all over the world in every place, And you have to be lucky, like you are with life. You have to be lucky. Sometimes you meet the right people, sometimes you don't. And licensing it's very much the same. You have to be lucky with the people you meet and the companies they run, because licensing is a two edged sword. On the blunt edge, they're paying you money like you're

a bank. You're paying you money like you have a building and they're borrowing real estate and they're paying you for it. It's simple. You don't have the risk. You're not designing, you're not taking the inventory, you're not chipping, you don't have the accounts payable. It's easy. You're making money.

On the sharp side of the sword, decide you can cut you You've lent them your brand, and very often they take shortcuts, maybe make lesser quality to make more margin, maybe sell to people they're not supposed to say. Because when you have a brand, when you think about it, you are who you hang with. It's like you as an individual, if you stay with smart friends you're in a smart crowd. If you stay with people who are honest and have integrity, you too will have honest and integrity.

You are who you live with and who you hang with. But in our business, in fashion and a lot of business, a Ferrari, you buy a Ferrari, you sign a document that you're not going to resell it.

Ferrari doesn't believe in reselling vehicles. You buy a Ferrari, they make you sign a one or two year agreement that if you choose to sell the automobile, you have to sell it back to them because they don't want the people reselling it and bringing down the image or gouging consumers because they're on a waiting list. They got a car and they're going to turn it over. Very very very real. Rolls Royce just incorporated the same process. You do it,

you're blacklisted forever. You can never buy a Rolls Royce or a Ferrari in this case direct from the real and in the or luxury business, same thing with watches, there's a gray market. You sell gray market for Rolex catches, you'll never get a watch again. So in fashion and luxury there is a balance between what we would call regular price and off price. You know regular prices freestanding stores on Fifth Avenue, but off rice might be considered

outlet stores or TJ Max or Roth Stores or Burlington. And while many companies sell into this channel, you'll never find luxury goods there. But by many companies will sell into this channel. They have surplus, they have to get rid of it, they'll sell it there. Some companies go even further and make goods for the channel, make products directly to the channel to earn more

money. So be it. You monitor it. In a licensey agreement, you have terms and conditions for the amount that you could sell in the off price channel. You have agreements on what that price will be. If you sell it, and if God forbid you go over it, you're going to pay a penalty or you're going to lose the license. And this is monitored very closely by companies everywhere. In my case, I have a great story

to tell you. You want to talk annoying tonight. I had a wonderful guy I did business within Europe. I'm not going to mention his name right now because he's a friend, but he could be annoying. And I've told you great stories about him at other times, and I supported him. And one day the head of licensing comes to me. We're going through our financial projections at this time, and she said, something is not making sense with

this guy's particular company. I said, what is it? She said, we know all of his customers and he's supposed to be behind in sales, and in fact he's way ahead. So I said, well, what's wrong with that? She's wearing his way ahead? Doesn't make sense. She said, there's one door, a name of which we don't recognize, an address that we've checked out isn't really a retail store. It's not Harrod's in London, it's not Selfridges, it's not Harvey Nichols, it's not the house of

Frasier, it's not at Deneminghams. And it's doing ten million dollars. You know how much business you have to do to sell ten million dollars. And it's a door we can't find it. I said, I don't understand. She said, we think he's selling to discounters and he's not admitting it. I said, he wouldn't do that to us, He wouldn't risk the license. He certainly wouldn't do it to me. He's a friend. Said, well, I can't explain it, can you. I said no, but

I will check. So I called him. I said, there's something going on here. We have a problem. We found shipments to this particular door that is doing ten million dollars and it makes no sense. Who are they? And he said, it's impossible. I don't know what that is. We got it from your information. Is it can't impossible. Let me check it out. So a week goes by here nothing, Two weeks go by. I forgot about it, actually, but I got reminded by my head

of licensing, and I'm on my way to London. And I go to London and I hang out with this guy and I go through his product. I approved all this product before he shipped in. It was great product, really great design. I was very excited about it, and I listed his distribution. I walked the stores, and we're all the best stores in London at that particular trip, and I asked them about the door. I said, look, I'm still checking. It might have been someone diverted the goods.

I don't know that now. What is diverted? Somebody buys it sells it to someone else. Like I said about Ferrari or Rolls Roy and they take the shipments. I said, but the problem is it looks like you're selling them direct. Can't be mark. Something's not right. So that night I was flying home to New York and for whatever reasons, I got the lad I had to be with Thomas Pink, one of the other brands I

ran the following day. It was an emergency they needed to see, so I extended my day one more day and I was sleep over in London another night, and because I was free up having dinner with this guy, I said, you know, I'm not going do you want to hang out? He says, you know what, I have dinner with another guy. Well, why don't you come along. You'll have a great time. So I'm sitting there and having dinner. I meet him. They're friends. They're very

friendly and apparently this guy was a very successful business man. And as he talked, he was explaining to me he's really in the warehouse and distribution business. And I said, oh, really, where do you have He says, I have a huge warehouse, million five square feet outside London. I turn over a lot of product and I'm in the business of selling clothesouts. Really and who do you sell them all to? He says to everyone, I have a huge clothes out business. My business is in excess of one

hundred billion dollars a year. And I looked at it. I said, do you do a business with you know? I pointed to my friend there. I said sure, I said, watching your biggest business with him? Decan Why. So he got caught and he looked at his friend like his friend was an idiot. But the friend was being honest. And the point is, when I say everyone's annoying, that's a great story. Here's a guy I trust, I like, I vouch for a stand up for.

He tells me that he doesn't know where his goods are going. This is a mistake. And sure enough, here I am sitting with the guy who bought it from it and I found out that way, and that was annoying. I'll take a break back in a minute. Always in fashion, I've been shopping for fun lately, and while I'm out, I always look at men's and I look at women's what's going on? And I was particularly interested

in Decam Why because of their sponsorship of the show. I went downstairs at Macy's thirty fourth Street, to look around and I saw Decamy active where And I promise you, ladies, it is sensational, from the sports bras to the crop tops, to the leggings and the sweats. It really is a great look. And Decay had begun as an all American brand dressing casual clothes engines, and the stuff looks incredible and right now the colors and the styles

is so exciting that I feel great about the company. I always do. I wear the men's who were all the time. I've had situations where I've gone to big events and been interviewed in TV or the radio, and someone comes up to me the microphone and like they always do, who you wearing? And here I am, this big shot with a big company and they said, well, I'm wearing a DKNY and they laugh and say, no, you're not. Actually have one on the internet where you could see me.

They asked me what suit I'm wearing, and I say, dec and why had opened it up and there's the DKNY label. Great fashion, It fits well, it looks right. It's designed to make you comfortable in the city, goes from day and to night. You can wear it in the morning and wear in the afternoon and you look cool at night as well. It's great for the office as great Felisia. But I was talking about the dcmy active ware. The first time I really became aware of that. Jesse

and I were up at Sirious Radio. He was doing a job for Serious He does Dan Abrams show, he fills in on the Potus network, and we're in the lobby and this hip hop group came up. Well, this really great looking Latinos singer Girl Young Beautiful. She's wearing a dk and Y sports bar and I said to myself, this is amazing. Actually went to Macy's to see it, and I'm excited about the brand. And I'll tell you what, ladies, dk Y always has great fashion for work, always

wonderful dresses and things that you'd wear. Their accessories are great, the shoes are always very cool. But activewere in particular right now looks sensational and being that everyone's affleisure in activewear, it's a great time. Dcm Y go take a look. Carl Lagafeld, Paris at Macy's or Karlgafel dot com. Welcome back, Joe Always in Fashion. Here's your host,

Mark Webber. Hi, I'm really having fun being annoyed. I find everyone annoying. No matter what anyone says, it seems to always be annoying. Now maybe I'm at the point where just leave me alone. But no, it's not just that I want to talk about some annoying things this week. You ever get on the phone with some of the cell phone and either they don't hear you or you don't hear them well, and you start arguing, who's the problem? I had that with your brother this week. There's something

wrong with your phone. How do you know it's my phone? I'm hearing you perfectly, it's your phone. It can't be my phone. Well, in all honesty, it is your phone. Because I've had a problem talking to you as well, So why don't you say so? Because I knew you'd be annoying about it. Very funny, by the way, speaking of that, you know what the worst one is is when you're talking to somebody and you're laying out an important point and you make your point and then you

don't hear anything because the phone hung up. You know, it's interesting. Technology is extraordinary. Go think that you'll be walking around someday with a computer in your hand that allows you to stay connected to everyone in the world, anywhere in the world. It's amazing. But the truth be known, I've seen no one invest in the sound quality of cell phones ever. You never hear them talking about we did this, we did this, strip them making

the cameras better, but never the voices. You ever noticed that? Yeah, it's I think that that's not even about the phone, that's more about the phone lines and the connection. I don't agree with you. I don't know that they have the best microphones, the best speakers, the best everything. If they did, they talk about it. I never heard one cell phone say our service is better than anyone, our clarity is better than anyone. Never, But I'll move on. I find that annoying. You know

what else I find annoying. I saw Mission Impossible. Oh, I thought it was great. What do you think? Why did you think it was great? Amazing action, good story, never board adventure Tom Cruise is amazing. Was it my favorite? Mission Impossible? Maybe not? But I thought it was very entertaining in a great time. Okay, I agree with you on one point. I thought it was amazing and I had a great time in that regard. I thought the women were interesting and they were beautiful,

and they were fun and they had very very good parts. But here's what bothered me about the movie. Pretty much, we've seen all the action before that whole train thing. We saw it on Wolverine, we saw it in Tom Cruise's first movie with the train. It didn't feel new to me. And then you get to the car chases. Car chase is a ruin. Now, there's nothing that goes on in car chases that hasn't been done before. It's beautiful, it's fun to watch, but it bothered me that it

seemed like repetitive. Tell me I'm wrong. What about the jump? The jump? Big deal? One jump? And you know what bothered me with the jump? The actual culmination bothered me because it reminded me of James Bond movie with either Pierce Press and you at Jamore. It was too comical. It wasn't as seriousness I would think the show deserved. I disagree. I don't want to give it away. But he had to figure out a way

how to get somewhere, and it was pretty thrilling how it happened. And look, the only criticism I have is they showed way too much of the jump and like behind the scenes and commercials. It took away from it a little bit, but it still was amazing to say. You know what else makes me crazy? Annoying? Well, I want to give one? I

want to give one? Okay, great? You know what is super annoying when you're in a store and the sales associate follows you like they're just all over you, looking at everything that you're doing, or like, oh, that's a good choice. Oh can I help you with anything? Like just leave me alone, like back up a little bit. You don't know how to blow them off. I said, I'm good right now, thanks, And then they keep following you like, oh that's a good selection. That

is annoying. You know, it's also annoying when they clean up. If you look at it an item and you pick it up and then you put it down, you fold it lightly. It's not perfect. Right after you do it, they fold it. How annoying is that? That is annoying? But you know what the most annoying one for me this week is, And if that's not considering all the honking driving into city and in the city, it's the traffic driving me crazy. It's so annoying. Not that you

know what really drove me crazy? TV commercials. Do you know what the TV commercial other than the five hundred drugs that are being offered to baby boomers for whatever the elements are, you know what the most conspicuous TV commercial this week was diet coke. I haven't seen a coke a diet coke commercial in years. And every time I turned on the TV, diet coke commercials were on and considering the who or the portion of the who has just said,

diet coke make cause cancer. Now they come out with TV commercials and no one's saying anything. I'm saying it. I mean they're doing it because they have to regain confidence in their brand. Yeah, drink a soda that gives you cancer or may give you cancer. I think that's perfect for commercials, don't you. The other thing, I went to Costco this week. I hadn't been in Costco in a while, and of all things, I needed batteries, and I know I get them there relatively fair prices in a large

quantity of them. But after getting into Costco and staying online for twenty minutes, watching people unload four hundred items and having to wait there and then realizing they don't give your bags you take them out in your wheelie caught. The whole experience of Costco drove me crazy. It wasn't enjoyable, although I would I would say the price makes it worthwhile. Do you want to hear something

that really annoys me. It's very specific. I'm listening. You ever go to a restaurant and it's somebody's birthday, and you make the effort to tell the restaurant before, or you sneak away from the table and you tell the waitress or the major day, Hey, can you bring this CaCO? Can you bring a dessert over surprise the person whose birthday it is? And they

say sure. The meal wraps up, and instead of just bringing the cake with the candles and surprising the person, somebody thinks it's a good idea to take plates and forks and knives and put them out before the cake comes, and it ruins the surprise that annoys me so much, and all the time I feel the urge to speak to the person, like, what's your thought process here? Why do you think this was a good idea? Ruins the

soul surprise that annoys me. Yeah, you're a hundred percent right. I'll give you another annoying one, because you know, I'm shot out of a cannon. I had a million this week Optimum. I've been talking for a year about the problems I had with Optimum, my service being out for weeks on end and holding it together patchwork, and fortunately about a month ago they sent this guy. His name was Anthony, and he was brilliant, and he overrode the guy who was here a week earlier who told me all my

boxes are obsolete. They all have to be returned, optimen replaced with others, and when they're done, you have to bring in a computer guy to get the whole thing all done. And I was distroyed, and I asked them to send me a genius. The guy figured it out and it's been brilliant. Knock on wood, knock on wood, knock on wood, brilliant. But I've been trying to collect now for six months the money they owe me for all the time that my system was out, and I can't get

anywhere, and it's so annoying. It's driving me crazy. Now the money's not going to change anything. I don't care, and it's working now and I'm it's a godsend, but I can't get to anywhere on first base with that. I also get really annoyed. Do you ever notice when people just have the urge to make obnoxious comments, like they all try to be wise guys and funny, and it just doesn't make sense. I give you an example. Playing golf a few weeks ago, I didn't hit the best shot.

Guy standing nearby a golfer goes, that was a bad shot. Why do you have to say that? What's it is? Business? Yeah? Why does he have to be a wise guy about that? Everybody's annoying. This has been annoying. Not to show I've had a great time. The world is annoying. I don't know about you, but everyone I talked to is annoying. The only person in the world I can think of is not annoying. That's me. I'm perfect, But I will say the government agencies

lately I want to call out. They deserve the credit. I don't dread going into the Motor Vehicle Bureau any longer. I actually enjoy going to the post office. Speaking post office, they finally raised their prices on their forever stamps way to Go, and they made a sizeable increase. Why I don't like paying it? As a consumer? I got to give them credit. It's time you want to laugh at Trump and call him annoying for a night without going annoying. I gotta tell you he was right. How could the

post office possibly lose money? They have a monopoly on the mail. You want to give me a job and pay me a percentage of whatever I save. I want to go run the post office. I guarantee you within a year they'll be the most profitable division. I also want to give a shout out to US Passport Agencies. I went there to renew my passport. They were great, and they told me it's going to take up to eleven weeks. Three weeks, I got a passport, and I gotta tell you it's

beautiful. If you haven't seen the new passport, it's beautiful. I'm proud to hold it and I was excited to get it. But in the night we're talking, you know, I want to talk a little about coming attractions. I don't know about you, but sometimes an idea today planned for months later just doesn't feel as good. I accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award from Mr. Magazine, and next week I'm actually getting the award. You know, I thought the wonder, why am I doing this? Do I need authentication?

Do I need validation that I had a career, that I made a contribution I did good. No. But on the other side, my whole family is going to be there. Jesse and Jared, my sons, are going to give me the award. So that's priceless. My whole family, we have a table. It's going to be a nice thing, and I suppose I'm accepting it on their behalf. I don't need accolades. I know who I am. On the other side, I'm going to see an industry

that's three one hundred and fifty people sold out. I helped the fact that my name was used. We got extra ads in the magazines, and there's some very nice tributes played out to me that you could see I posted on Always in Fashion Instagram or if you look up Mmmer's magazine July issue you might see it very nice. And the people who turned out for me, I really appreciate all the sponsors showed up and it's really really nice and it's going

to be meaningful. And why am I telling you this on a night that's annoying. I think I'm a little annoyed that I have to deal with this. But on the other hand, I'm very excited because it is for the family priceless, and I want to tell you from upcoming attraction point of view. Next week's show, we're going to talk about lifetime achievement. With that, I hope you enjoyed the show I did. If you didn't, it's because you're annoying. Good Night,
