#99: The Energy Debate

This episode’s guest is Craig Lawrence, Partner and co-founder of Energy Transition Ventures. Craig is an outspoken advocate of the green movement and the energy transition, and needless to say we don’t see eye-to-eye on many energy topics but that’s the exact reason I wanted to have him on the show. 

We've often gone back and forth in the replies on Twitter and eventually we decided to sit down and have a conversation. For those of you who may have wanted to see a fiery debate… I hate to break it to you but I think we found quite a bit of middle ground in this episode. This is why nuanced thoughtful conversations are so important, energy is complicated, a lot gets lost in the soundbites. 

This episode we cover a lot of topics on the energy transition. We talk about all the usual suspects - solar, wind, electric vehicles. Hopefully whichever side you fall on in the energy debate you can take something useful from our conversation.
