#82: Next Gen Geo

This episode’s guest is Dylan Morton. Dylan is a Geoscience graduate student at my alma mater, Oklahoma State University. 

Since I first started the podcast Dylan has been someone that has consistently engaged and shared my content and I am very grateful for his support. I was excited when he agreed to come on the show and talk about his journey as an up and coming geologist in the industry. 

This episode is filled with discussions about what it is like coming out of college in 2022 and with a geology degree and looking to work in oil and gas. 

We talk about Dylan’s time interning at Denbury Resources at what he hopes to pursue when he graduates. Lastly, we discuss carbon capture and the experience he gained while at Denbury (who is one of the leaders in the emerging CCUS space).
