#181: Natural Gas Storage - Edmund Knolle

This episode’s guest is Edmund Knolle, the commercial lead for Gulf Coast Midstream. Edmund is a midstream expert who has also dabbled in the Bitcoin mining space. We met a few years back at the Digital Wildcatters Empower conference. 

In this episode we discuss the history of natural gas storage in the U.S., including the recent trends emerging in the space due to the increased volatility of natural gas prices. We talk about the operations of a natural gas storage facility and what it is involved with getting a new project off the ground. Lastly, we discuss the economics of storage projects, what the commercial terms look like, and the details behind the storage project Edmund and his company are currently working on.
