This episode’s guests are Russel English and Ty Zieman. Russel is the CEO and Ty is the CFO of Trailhead Exploration. 

I’ve known and worked with both of these guys for years. They have put together an impressive company with Trailhead, building a leading position in Oklahoma’s Marietta Basin. 

This episode we discuss challenges of building an oil & gas company from the ground up. We talk about the Marietta basin and the deep wells that their company is drilling. We get into the technical side of their operation including the reservoir dynamics, drilling considerations, infrastructure buildout and service costs. Lastly, we talk about the current state of the small oil & gas producer world, capital in the space, and opportunities on the horizon.
