Richard Speck is one of America's most infamous murderers, committing what was immediately dubbed the "Crime of the Century" in Chicago, Illinois in July of 1966. His brutal slaying of 8 young student nurses was callous and horrifying, and a huge escalation in behavior, even considering his extensive criminal history leading up to that night. In part 1, we cover Richard's early years and the string of crimes leading up to the evening of July 13, 1966.
