Episode 109: Clare Wood

Clare Wood is a name with a legacy that will last for decades to come due to the work of her father, Michael Brown. Clare's life was brutally stolen from her by an asshole who didn't understand or tolerate a woman rejecting him, then proceeded to steal justice from her family in the aftermath. No one in Clare's life knew what she was truly going through until after her sudden murder, and even Clare herself didn't know who she had gotten involved with while she dated George Applewood. Michael worked hard to bring about Clare's Law, which actively provides a measure of protection from men and women facing domestic violence situations.
