Episode description

I was fortunate to be joined by Brian Guadagno and his furry sidekick Doc, during the first-ever live episode of the podcast. Heading down to Narragansett Beach in beautiful Rhode Island, Brian and I sat and discussed the origins of the Waterman Eco-Challenge, an event inspired by his passion for surfing, paddling, and the waterman community. The event takes place annually and brings people from around the United States to one of Rhode Island’s most iconic beaches. It’s designed to challenge the most veteran paddlers, but also give those interested in the waterman community an opportunity to join in the fun. Best of all, every entry is a donation to the Janice ‘Mama C’ Causey Memorial Art Scholarship, that awards college-bound Narragansett High School students with scholarships towards their next endeavor. It’s an amazing event that truly embodies the waterman culture! Website  Instagram  Facebook    Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
