Episode description

Jesus came to Jerusalem less than a week before His crucifixion with a purpose: to give His people clarity and prepare them for the season ahead. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses Jesus' time in Jerusalem before His death and resurrection. He teaches from the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, walking through the opposition Jesus faced from the religious elite and the instructions He left for His followers on awareness and generosity. Pastor Allen also shares Jesus' teaching on avoiding the strangling love of money that can take root in our hearts. Like Jesus' disciples in the first century, we are called to stay alert and be prepared for Jesus' return, working diligently in the assignments He has given us and furthering our Lord's Kingdom in the earth.
