Episode description

When Jesus entered Jerusalem triumphantly on Palm Sunday—the Sunday before His crucifixion—there were three groups of people reacting to His arrival: the disciples, the crowd, and the adversaries. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses Palm Sunday from Matthew, Luke, and John's individual perspectives. He teaches about the difference between each group of people's reaction to Jesus' ministry. The disciples were all-in for the Lord. The crowds were eager to support when it was easy, but their minds could be swayed. The opposing people, the religious leaders in Jerusalem, wanted Jesus gone. These groups still exist today, and we need to decide how we'll respond to Jesus. Like those on the first Palm Sunday, let's determine to welcome Him into our towns, homes, and lives.
