I think just adding Rondo and the direction they're going, I see them winning a series against against Portland. Portland has some great players. Uh, Dame is having a great year, MVP season, big shot makup. But I just think in the series, I think the Clippers figured out. I think poor Than is a scary team um come playoff time

because they're starting to get everyone back. In help of Norman Palell, I think it was a huge pickup that's gonna help him on both sides of the ball um, So that's gonna be scary. And Paul doesn't have a good history against Dane when it comes playoff time, so that's gonna be a If that happens, that'd be a

dolt matchup. But for for the week ahead, I'm definitely thinking that, you know, the Clippers are starting to turn the corner and um, if they can start getting more consistent, which is obviously Kauai and that team's biggest uh issue right now, I would take the Clippers as well. Blazers have a big week. They start with the Clippers, but then also play the Jazz, the number one team in the West right now, shooting and shift out of the

ball um. It's a good matching for both teams. Uh. You know, the the Jazz are playing well right now and they're trying to keep their good field going, you know that winning streaking, the way they've been playing, keeping that number one seed. But Portland is still it's still trying to climb that ladder. But I think these type of games, you know, you never know how I was gonna end up who you're gonna be playing in the first and second round of playoffs. So these type of

games where you can make a statement. I think it's good to go and win these games now, coming towards the end of the season. Yeah, I mean, this is an abnormal time for the Western ofference. Um, you know with their top two teams are kind of new teams when it comes to be in top teams in the West, they haven't been I mean obviously in the past they've been there, but they haven't been there of late. So you know, any of these lower seed teams to me are going to be a battle in the first two

rounds for whether it be Utah or Phoenix. So, um, this is definitely could be a statement game, you know, a battle of the backcourt c J and Dames first, Conley and Mitchell. Um, So definitely exciting game. Uh should I'm gonna go with Portland on this one. Name's gotta get one of those two, So I think you'll get Utah. Thursday, we got the Clippers versus the Suns. The first matchup. Paul George drop thirty nine, but of late been battling a toe Injury's only averaging about eighteen a half points

a game. Um, the sun's hot continuing to stay hot. What are your thoughts on this game. I see, you know, both teams battling, but I just I think, um, Chris Paul is starting to really lead his team and start to get them in playoff form. Uh. had also been on a young team. But um, I just see them being more focused than the Clippers right now because they still trying to add in Rondo, They're still trying to figure out what Paul being heard. So, UM, I really I really see Phoenix turning the corner right now, going to end. See I mean, one person that's not in the m v P conversation to me that should

be a CP. I mean, obviously his numbers aren't overwhelming, but I think he's around fifteen sixteen points, almost nine assists, and he's got the Phoenix Suns to a team were outside of the bubble when they got hot last year. We're a bad team, and a lot of people thought Devin Booker was wasting good years playing in Phoenix. But

I think CPS has completely changed that dynamic. Um I said early on they were my surprise team in the year because I knew playing with CP in the past, what he's gonna be able to do the Booker and not only Booker, but Aiden Um. You know, having CP out there, you know, one of the best winners we've ever seen. And he hasn't got the big win, but he's always been a consistent winner. He's another coach on

the floor. So I definitely think when you have a player like that, it helps these young teams out and and you're seeing in the record, you know they're number two and in a tough Western conference. So definitely shout out CP and the Suns. And you said you got Phoenix in this game? Man, who am I taking? Who am I taking? Who am I taking? I'm gonna take the Clippers, of course, the Clippers. I'm gonna take Phoenix UM in a seven game series if this, if they happen to match up, who would you take in a seven game series? I'll take Utah UM. I just think they have more guys

with experience. They have one of the best defensive players in the league, and the big man and and Rudy and just planning Utah in the playoffs. That's been there. That's a tough dynamic. We've been there. So I don't know if if cp CP might be ready for it, but I don't know if the whole Science team is ready for Yeah. So I've been talking about that a lot, and just having the voice of the athlete because you're gonna have a break more on making a dream a destination team. Yeah, we gotta do that. Like everybody loves coming to the eight, Like that's when you come to Atlanta. When you play Atlanta, people circle that on their calendars. They're telling their friends everybody that

they're coming here. But nobody want to play here like some with that, So I understand. I mean people want to win, and just Atlanta sports have not one so entertaining. But I just want to know where they're hitting up the women's side before that happen, you know, like who's buying in when it's not popular, who's buying

in before the noise happened. So if they keep that content noise with allies like you guys, I mean, I think for whatever reason, the sponsors are like it, wander down the stretch we go with quick hitters. Now, the Pelicans are set to sign Isaiah Thomas to attend a contract Jackie like that move. I like Isaiah just period, you know, the heart of a lion, a little big man is what I call him. I'm just glad he'd get another shot. You know, we were far for Carmelo.

We didn't wasn't wasn't as public as we are as we should have been for him and Jamal, you know what I'm saying, Like we did Carmelo. But I'm happy

to see him back in the league. I love the opportunity. It's good to see another guy emerged over there. I think it looks good for him.

A lot of people compare this kid to Blake Griffin coming out a young Blake Griffin obviously. Uh, you know it's taking him a little bit too. That's what the world was. And I think he's in year two or three right now, so he's definitely starting to come around year two and you know, excited for the future. You know, you know, Russ has played his ass off this season.

We already know what Bill has been doing, so to you know, to see that third person emerged, like you said, I think would be big for them in the future. I mean, Jack you could say what you want. Katie's been down for a minute. I'm putting Day right at the top with cutch clutch players in the game right now. If he's not number one, he's definitely two or three. But I'm thinking more closer to one. What are your thoughts on Dame and it's clutchedness. Well, I mean Katie

is clutch, He's way more consistent. But I think Dame is way more clutch. You know, and and and it's proofd behind that. UM, A lot of you can have that argument, but you can. I would say that Katie is the most efficient player you'll ever see. But when it comes down to clutch, you know, I gotta go on right. Dame name on the list. He's right at the top. You know. Blazers, Like I said, Blazers are

getting their guys back at the right time. It's about what five weeks left in the season develop that chemistry. I think they're gonna be a real tough outcome playoff time because they've got a lot of weapons. Next up, a friend of the program, DeMarcus Cousins, is set to

sign a ten Dade contract with the Clippers. UM and I feel bad for this dude, I mean, getting a chance to play with them in Sacramento, being one of the best centers, getting traded during the All Star break to New Orleans on the brink of a two hundred plus million dollar contract and tears of achilles, and it's just been one injury after another for him, and he's been bouncing around ever since and hasn't really regained his footing. So you know, me personally happy to see it. A

little bro get another shot with the Clips. Yeah, a good team, UM, good coach, a lot of He's gonna be around a lot of good guys. Um. I think it's gonna work for him. I think at this point he know his role, he knows what he can do, but at the same time, he don't want anybody else to tell him what he can do, you know what I mean. I think that's the problem. You limited him

before you can see what he actually can do. I think he's gonna get a chance to beat him and U with the Clippers, and I hope it works out. I think, I mean, it's gonna be a big pickup, um if it does work out, because to me, you know, with zoobots, they don't really have a consistent backup center. No more losing Herald to the Lakers, who wasn't really a center anyway. But I think a book he can come in and be, you know, a fifteen and ain't guy.

I mean, I definitely think that's gonna help the Clippers. And he's back or Rondo, and I know her respects and listens to Rondo, So that'll be a solid pick up for the Clips.
