I knew his goal was to try to get me tired and things like that. So I made sure I ran every day, made sure like I was waking up probably like eight nine in the morning running probably like the that he was probably I mean it's probably was like one oh six, one ten out here,

and I was running every day, you know what I mean. So, um, it was a lord lord like a lord hiccup because of um, the way how they set the fight was like the whole like you had to fight in the bubble and like you couldn't ready be with your coaches. So it was like a lord crazy yeah, so but we got the job done in the in the fight, you know, it was a lord back and forth and then I wound him, catching him with a good shot, you know what I mean. And the and the shot

was crazy. I knew that when I was when I was gonna catch him, it was gonna be like because the way he was throwing the same punch, I was like, I know it, like if he throw this punch again, I got it right there, and he threw it right well. I thought I knew he was gonna through. Yeah, was crazy. I mean, you just had your last fight, not even two and a half months ago. Did you get how much downtime did you have in between that fight and starting to train for this fight? Not none, Probably about

like a week, a good, a strong week. And then I had to get right back and to it because I knew, like this this fight gonna be, it's gonna be. It ain't it's it's not gonna be like the wretch. You're gonna be a law or tough. One thing I noticed about obviously getting a chance to come into camp today and check you out when you have any kind of downtime. I said, you have Floyd on YouTube. What

are you taking from watching his fights? Just little stuff just like hiest moving, like his his hand placement, like where you throwing that and things like that, like, um, just how he he it is in like the boxing in the boxing ring. Just I like to try to watch him a lot because I not really fight like him, but I try to. Like he's he's off the dots, so if I can do it on the South Park side, that it's gonna be a little awkward for my opponent.

So I always like to watch Floyd, you know what I mean, because he's he's the best that well and that I think that he's the best. I've seen your last seven fights or I've been to him, um as you know, um, but from I think from the game Boy fight, I've seen a different tank for some reason. I make you creeting if I'm wrong, But I just seem like it seemed like you locked in way more. And I think you know as a professional who you are now in boxing, Like I just seen a different

change in the different focus, Am I right? Yeah, You're right, Just just off for just I think I'm getting um getting used to it professional the professional side, like I'm getting used to it, like even when I'm in the ring, like it's it's not like more so like it's not blurry no more. I can sleep like playing their day at first, like when you first get on the stage you fight, it's like a Lord, it's not so much Claire. But now like I could see it like a little bit.

Everything is story like everything like I could put a web store. It's my pace like that all the time. And that's why I like it, and that's why I see that I'm getting like over that hump type. So can you say, can you say it's nothing in the ring that you haven't seen? I can't say that just yet, right just yet. But they've been boxing the whole life. Is that's something new? Yeah, not just yet. But but

it wasn't surprised me. Like if something new came, like if I like it, just just say like it was like a Lord, he's come out a little awkwil or like different or catch me with something. I saw you speak on obviously your career. I mean your ten years in you knew you said, you said you knew you would

be something. Did you ever expect to be the global star you are and you have? You had a chance to kind of sit back and appreciate it, because I know as athletes, we're always looking for the next what's next? What do you ever get a chance to just kind of sit back, like damn, it's been ten years and I've done all this already, or still on to the next smallest guy in boxing only one. Yeah, I mean, yeah,

I really don't. I don't. I really don't like think about it because it's always like it's like, damn, I gotta do something else, like now, like like before like the hector, the hector guard ships, like I'd be helping bowing. Then it's like, all right, bet forget that, I gotta fight. What's next? Fine gard ship, you know what I mean. So it's like it's not really too much of a like a celebration to me, you know what I mean.

It's always like that, like I'll probably be in the midstle, like probably like just say, like after the fight, had a lord get together and there. It's like but it's always in the back of my mind, like it's always what's next. It's always what's next. And I think you feel like you you don't you like be able to get the celebrate because of you're the person that's in it, you know. I mean probably people around you celebrate but

not ask. Well me, I don't really get the celebrate because it's always like I'm always like what's next because I know I can't go further like where I am today, I'll be telling people, like a lot of people don't know, especially just watching boxing, you gotta take care of your body all year around, like even not knowing if the fight is coming, this is all year around, so you don't get no time off, and a lot of people don't understand. You gotta eat right. You gotta take care

of your body. You gotta work. And that's the that's when I started looking at y'all. I'm like, Okay, I gotta hold different respect for what boxes go through. You know what I'm saying. You might even have a fight schedule, but you still gotta eat right. So that's a that's a testament to y'all. Bro. Yeah, what's different about this camp than than previous camps? He got a different face on.

He didn't kill mode I could tell just uh, I woant to say that, probably more focused, like more like I think my focused probably a little bit more stronger than because I know what I'm up against, you know what I mean, you know how like they ain't trying to play you know, man, straight straight toward. That's why the day that I was trying to get like straight

little bit? Obviously people don't really understand walk around wade and coming down and and and obviously how much someone can gain after the weigh ends. Can you speak to that a little bit? I mean, it just it just making sure everything fair, you know what I mean. I know that he's a bigger fighter, he's coming in, he's he already had the advantage of the height, the size, the on left like everything, he had the most advantage, you know, So I was just making it a little fair,

you know what I mean. Just yeah, just everybody stayed the same. And I mean, ain't like he got a door and I don't have a door. We both have to do it, you know what I mean. So, I mean I think it's just him. It's just him out there just spreading rumors and stuff like that, and people just a little to everybody done it. I done it, everybody, everybody's done it before. It's the part of boxing, you know what I mean. It just mean they want me to be like somebody to be like I guess, like

a dumbass of the day. Are the trash talking You're one of the better trash talkers. Uh what does that put you in your game? In the midst of your game? Where does trash stuck can come to you? Gotta sell a fight? Yeah, definitely, got definitely got to sell a fight. I really. It just about like figuring your opponent out. Just any little thing, any little thing like just how he reacts golf and stuff, like any his movement, like his feedback, like what is he coming straight back? Or

he like yeah yeah, stuff like that. Everything that's everything, even like the face off, like how we just walk up to each other, like me just pit like looking at his arm, see how how long his arms? Just like how tall he is. I didn't even know he was that tall. I mean that short. I mean, while you're not short, but he's not that much taller than me, you know what I mean? everywhere at New York LA. What is the best atmosphere to you? I've been to all your fights. I want to see what you said me to tell you what's the best atmosphere that I've been to your fights?
