Welcome back to all the smoke New York edition. Are in a minute trying to cool off. We've been trying to catch up with these two for a minute. Man, really look up to the pioneers in the space and welcome to the show. Jesus Merror, congratulations y'all your success, Like I'll be killing him. Man to see what you guys did in the space and appreciate that because you guys are basically us, like literally they look like us, like you you know what I mean, He's that's not

what happened? Are you gotta do to pull Jacks Viille crow here? Like, let me tell you some about that goes to Washington's gonna function up. I need to They're gonna be like I thought about the kid I've ever seen. I know he's not the make kid. I'm fighting the urge asking for who he's like to stop my town. I got a joyful You ain't got no motherfucking my man, My man, I need to table for six. You know it's just me. I'm waiting for the rest of the people.

Is rolling in lately and talk about your upbringing in the Bronx. Man, how was it shout to the Bronx. Bro you know what to think about the Bronx is like it's super rough growing up, but you don't realize that at the time, so you know, so you just think everyone else's life is like that, and once you leave it, you kind of have an appreciation that it puts you through such tribulation and hardship that you're built

for anything. Like people from the Bronx like shout to j Loo, shot the Freshman, shout the CARDI b Like we've been through stuff way before the Hollywood stuff. So the Hollywood stuff is a lay up. But the stuff we went through as kids in the Bronx, it is just like other people did not go through that, Like I got illegally arrested by the cops, you know, like I have friends killed by the cops, And this is regular stuff in the Bronx and that's just it never

like shook you anything. And it's just like you use that for our success right now. So it's just like at the time you hated it, but I would never regret any experience I had growing up in the Bronx. And the Bronx is like, man, if you can it's coinic. If you make it, then you can make it anyway. Being like a school for hustles. You know what I'm saying, Like, if you you, you gotta learn to get it out the mud, like no matter what, because ain't nobody helping you.

Everybody's got delf kind of really know what I'm saying. It's like and it's like, I know the West Coast like gang mentality type of ship, but it's on the East Coast in New York specifically, it's like blocks, you rep your block gang. You know the vibes I'm saying, don't just throw you ire during at home like you out the nick. No, we was going through your guys background ship and Jack's like brother, they just like us. They just like us. Bro. The idea that we're on

TV makes absolutely jo set exactly everything. I wake up My biggest fear when I wake up, I wake up up like Ship. It is a dream over that's like, no, I'm still good, We'll good. But no, it just feels because the stuff we've been through, just living in the Bronx and just like even the beginning of the podcast, like we really literally used to show share a metro card to get on the subway. That's how popular and now we all show time. It started as a high side hustle and to a job put up in Rolls

Royces today. So you definitely wasn't. My brother was a Bentley. That wasn't. It was a regular over. It was a Bentley, but it was a ninety nine Bentley. How did you get your name? You know what? Okay, that's the thing about my name. It's a actual childhood nickname because I really go with computers. Said, everyone was like, you make miracles happen with computers. You're like Jesus. But my real name is Daniel, so like Daniel plus Jesus Jesus. And I was really good. Also, I was really good at

check fraud. I wan't talk about that, but that's where I got that name from. And I hope the FBI and the Secret Service aren't watching because the niggas is on my ask So it's also really good. But that's another story. Listen, here's the thing about check fraud. The holograms you can get them on Canal Street. I start a story like that. Okay, here's the thing about checkraud. Okay, you can't get the hologram. The holograms are on Canal Street. What you once you get the hologram or you go

on to town. Baby, so shout to say, yeah, if your daughter son get arrested the decent Mary show. Did that ship not all the smokes? When did you? How did you meet some of the some of the school high school? Because New York City is weird, you know what I'm saying. Because my high school it's only a certain amount of schools that's open for some school because they're like a budget ship and whatever. So my school was close for the summer, so I had to go to school that was news to me, which was Lem

High School, which he was at at the time. And so it was like and were in different circles or whatever. But it's like, yo, that's your man, that's what your man's man. I didn't know who he was, Like he was hanging with the Puerto Ricans with age. Yeah, no, it was because that was the first time I heard

the term Marino. Yeah, y'all know what that mean. Okay, I didn't know that, And like, so I'm fighting with Dominicans and fight before we becas Also I'm like, I don't know the difference between Puerto Rican and Dominican, y'all.

E beans, so you know, I'm figuring that out, and you know, like I've seen him, and I was like, I know that guy, but I don't know what you didn't want to know me at that age, I looked like Jim Jones hanging off the back of the bus smoking does punch of people in the face, always walked around with a weapon. That weapon on Twitter and like

we're both treating about bronze stuff. We're both treating about how we hit our job whatever now and then a treat would be like yo, you know he did comment like oh you know this person or oh you know this location, and people always show the interactions between us, and people really loved the interactions and shout. So I got Doni Qua at Complex our homeboy for life. He was like, you guys should do a podcast together. And the first thing I said is what the fund is

the podcast? And then after that, first I said was how much? Okay? After that, we did a podcast to The podcast was only for seven episodes and it was so fire. They made a video for the eighth episode. When year was that that had to be like sixteen trade seven seen trade fifteen earlier, not alost okay. It was it's been a minute, but no, it just took off as that, and here we are. Jack talked about his twin. I guess I'm coming to you now. So

talk about your experience. You're born in Washington Heights but raised in the Bronx, gotnot So it was it was wild, like it was super immigrant story, like my uncle, my pops came here first. My Pops was back and forth, you know, making money, sending it home, going back for Miles got pregnant. She was super pregnant, and he was like, Yo, you gotta come here because this motherfucker I gotta be born in the United States of our medic you know,

saying we need one citizen in the family. You feel me. So we all we all lived on Sherman's had German and from there, like the family it was like ten of us, eleven of us in an apartment and half the family went to Jersey. Half the family went to the Bronx. So I ended up in the Bronx. And what what I'm saying, East Tream you know what I mean,

King's Bridge all over the place, you know what I mean. So, but yeah, it was it was dope because you know, I got to see like a little bit in Manhattan before I left, you know what I mean, because I took it. I would just get on the train for no reason, film and just go downtown and just walk around at what age bro like seven eight Because this still trips me out to this day. How y'all moving the trains and the subways, and because I'm on the West Coast, we don't do none of that. Everybody in

I would never let them ride. Oh yeah, you know you're super young. You be in Time Square on you like nine and ten and stuff like. That's like some regular New York. So you gotta think about it. Like my parents came from they was outside like you know what I mean. Like my pops was like I got an eight k in the crib, like you know what I mean, like goats all these and goes on on the main roads, getting taking a bus by myself. That was done. But it's just like your parents, you know,

like they came to New York. They know what's going on, but they don't know what's going on, so they don't know when you sneak out your house at two am and you ride your bike from the Bronx to Tom Square with thirty of your friends and you like who in the morning at two in the morning and you get back before they even wake up. They don't know that. I wouldn't. I wouldn't have made it out here. I

wouldn't have made it. Every New Yorker, every native new Yorker, looks back in the childhood, like, how the hell did that? We've done the elevator surfing, being on top of trains, just doing dumb shit that's so specific to New York and it made you be a New Yorker as like stuff you can't do another cities and stuff like the fact that I'm riding on top of trains, riding on top of elevators in the projects. I don't even live in the projects, but that was fun at the time.

And everyone, almost everyone in New York has done that if you have any pussy, so you know, like I'll be trying to figure out how people get caught with all these buildings. I don't. You don't if you if you're if you're a herb, you get caught and did the dash out here? Well, that's also the other thing as a real New Yorker, one of the native skills

you have. You can spot undercover cop medium. No matter when you walk, when you walk to the subway, you see those three guys and the one woman and then bout the pay phone and the train came into the platform and no one left. You know that? Also for fun, every time you pass undercover cops like Top of the Morning, gentlemen, they get very upset. When you said that, I'm saying because you're like, yo, I've seen you. What what's going on? Tops? Hey,

Blue Lives Matter. I was like, you're not so undercover, know what I'm saying, Like you were that same mood, be like I see you like that kind of stuff. That's how you get like sun up by the cops. But you know, you get your name. Your poss wanted the name you Ramero, how did you? And my mom's was like no, my mom's up with the legs and star ups like nah, nah, his name is Joel. You know what I'm saying, Because she was like some biblical ship.

You don't want you don't want to be Ramerror right now after the way Roley got knocked out, you know what I'm saying. So I'm just like, yeah, I'm glad. But then you know all my uncles that they kept calling me Ramerroo because it was like, man, this ship like that, that's your name. So then when I started doing graffiti and ship like my first tag, and when I was like tang was like jay Dogs, some corny

ship like that. And then I started hanging out with real writers and they were like, man, that ship is corny, like hit this blood, think of something else. And I was just like it's like merrow and this ship, you know what I mean, to freaking like make it look nice whatever. And then I was after the racist man. Early in your career writing music reviews, how did you

fall into that space? Wow? It was crazy because I started off just writing like blogging and like on Twitter and stuff like that, and then people were like, yeo, I really funk with the way this dude. People didn't know like who I was, Like, they didn't like I

didn't have a picture up like that. Yeah, So it was and it was all caps all the time, you know what I mean, because yeah, but it was on some graffiti ship because I was just like, yeah, it looks goofy if I type in like alternating caps or whatever. But I wanted to do something difference right out, so I just did that and then people started reaching out like you know, yeo, yeah, can you wade for us?

Can you wade for that? And I was just like, yeah, if you're paid, let's get it, you know, because at the time, I'm in like a two bedroom, one kid another one on the way, you know what I'm saying, Like I'm making like twenty bands a year before taxes, you know what I'm saying. So I was down bad. I was just like, God, damn, like seventy five dollars. I can infoce you and you can pay me. It's just gonna pay for my weed and diapers. Let's go.

You know what I'm saying, Like, you didn't diapers. That's why I name my LLC Lanter in bumper that spanished from milk and paper. You know what I'm saying, you needed the essentials. You land a spot on MTV in two thousand fourteen, would you learn from that experience? Back pedal MTV two? Big difference, different correction because people like, oh,

you know IMTV. I was like other, you know, like MTV dog find us after ridiculous part when we were there, they actually had MTV three for the Reggae toone and that said when that died. It was just like, damn, we're next coming, you know what. Being at MTV was a great It was like like he always calls a junior college, Like we learned how to be on TV.

You learned how to open up the camera and how to read from the prompter, learn how to work with people, work with writers, read from like just work on that kind of way. And also the thing is like a lot of us don't realize how big MTV is. It's still bad. It's still big. People still funk with it heavy. So just you know, getting that good erupts in there and learn how to work with that and working with like Charlemagne and working with d ray Davis and working

with some of the biggest names after Charlotte. But that was our next question. What was it like working with him back then or getting to meet him and working around with him. You know, Charlemagne gets a lot of ship. But of all the people, him and d ray Davis have done the most to make sure our careers go forward. They always give us like successful advaluce, tell us what to do, what not to do. They've always brought us

up on their projects itself. And for someone so established to look at two like street urchins from the Bronx to be like, yo, I believe in you and like shout to Charlottagne. That's our guy. Because we learned so much from him. It's just kind of like following his career path. He got the book, we got the book. He's out here. He kind of shifted how his comedy is going now he's no longer just a comedian. Like

now he's doing like serious interviews. We do serious interviews, like you know, like you love to see the growth with him and the fact that he always believed in us means so much to us. How was it getting your names out there when y'all started? And how big, how important invited with social media for y'all Supervival, that's where we even got the opportunity to have these shows. And then just being out there like the kind of thing was like we're like, oh, we're on TV. Everyone

knows we're on TV. That's not the case whatsoever. No one knew were on TV. So we have to be on social media, like you watch us on the Charlottage Show, watch us on whatever. And the thing is that you had like people who were like, oh, I'm for sure gonna watch it. And you also had haters like you you're not funny, so like you have to like never let get you down, and just like on these posts every week like yo, we're doing this again. I'm just again.

Remember our podcast. We're doing like maybe six thousand listens in the first week, which I know some people like that's a lot. That wasn't a lot to us at the time, but it's just like if you get six thousand listens and you busted, you're asking a podcast, are you gonna make another episode next week? But we just kept grinding every week no matter how. We never listened to how many people were listening. So off the rip,

you guys are doing it by yourself? Or did you sign with the company first and you were just kind of slowly grind. Oh no, we started we were working with Red Shouts of Red Bull Studios, but they had a great deal where they basically support artists, so there

was no contract. They were like, you guys can record your podcast for free, We'll give you studio time, there's no licensing and it has nothing to do with Red Bull and Shouts are We'll go on their website because they do that for almost every supporting artist in all types of cities. They can get up and it wasn't for them, we would not have had our podcast. So we used to go to Red Bull Studios to se the real podcast is always know the address of everything.

I barely know what street I live one for my Xi's name, but these niggs know the numberber all New York people you pressed the third intercom, but all for that, like we start our podcasts that I'm like, we were just ripping and just going with it, and then opportunities came, like shout to eight Track. He let us hold foods go day off in Brooklyn. We were not ready for that because we went there it was like it's gonna

be like an hour. We're hosting this concert for nine hours basically, but people are loving it and like we have the energy and he's like, Yo, this group is gonna be late. Just delay the crowd for and we are just having the time of our lives. Remember the Locks came out and before they were like, yo, delay

the crowd, and I was like Yo. Every week we go people one like that kind of energy and at the end of the day there's people just standing there and we're like, what are you waiting for there, like we're waiting for y'all. We watch your autographs and like at this point we're like, what kind of car was it? Rap four? But it was my mom's rap four that the mommy like we did this great concert and then

we just getting his mom's rap four ship. But like even little things like that was just like, yo, there's something here we could be something that was That was It was part too, because it's like a lot of people like you, when you're doing stuff, you don't realize like yo, this ship has impacted on people to seeing it or whatever. So that was just like when the fools go they popped off out like I just had a track. I was just like yo, just DM them like YO hosts. He was just like, uh I guess yeah,

why not? So it was made it happen bro, and it was you know what I mean like and it was just show. It went to show like Yo, my man, he's on time and like he's hiptoz ship like he's down. Like a lot of people we sucked with, like they sucked our share early and if you did that, we got you for life, like we got you no matter whatever on no matter where obviously ran across and seeing you guys before. But when you guys came in here, your energy completely changed. Like I was reading the email

on the way to fall in a sleep. I don't know what the funk he was doing, but y'all came in loud and just and she's just like, this is a lot of you gotta remember, like we've had every shitty possible job locked up, like it's really your job, Like I don't got no boss. Check Jack, take a shot for that ship right there, Jack, You can go, Jack, but I have to do it. Take a shot for that ship. Just because he was talking about shot you're to give you all the smoke, all the drinks. So

two thousand sixteen, you guys both start your show. Jesus and maryls on Viceland half hour show Money through Thursday said you shot with three hundred episodes of season grind talking us about that. So for pointing to don't forget that, which for y'all don't know self report it means you take your own ass to the set. So I'm in an old five tan cloth interior find a call. Well, in the beginning, we had to drive ourselves there and it was like weird because like we're trying to do

a late night show. We were so worried about like ulternate side of the street parking, so it doesn't really work. I'm like, I like Trevor, no, it doesn't have to deal with this ship. But no, we were just you know, bro, we were grinding, like it was at the point there times we walk in we had no idea who the guest was, we had no idea what was going on, but we just did it every fucking day and we made one of the best shows ever in the history

of television. Not stand by that you will never be another decent Merrow from vice standpoint, and it was, like Merrow says again, junior college, we learned so much about just how to do and how to interview people, how to come in on a Thursday when you're fucking tired and hungover, but you know what, you gotta do the show. So you you just get like thirty minutes of energy out of you do your interview, and you die at the end. And so having that experience, now you can

do the Showtime show on Thursday and banging out. There's never gonna be a time on the Showtime. I'm too tired for this because after the Vice Ship, like we've been through everything. We had the Santa Clon episode, you had like a ripping your foot or something. He's like on Purkoset you got white kids always feeling I was feeling great, but the boy had me. You feel, you know, like I'd know what I'm saying that we made. We made amazing TV off of that, and it's just like

I'm glad we did that early in our career. So now it's just like we can know how to do this. You guys have your own writer's room. Explain that experience and process and just the production side of what you guys spit every Thursday. Because like a writer, the staff is not they're not writers. They're our friends what I'm saying. They're like you, they know us, and it's like even our interactions are not like yo, come to the writer's room.

It's like you walk around the studio and like you just talk to them generally and all for those little conversations the shout to Julia, shout to Heaven, shout to Um, Robert Krnhauser, Josh shout the j D problem right now. You know, like these people they get us so they'll see the situation and they'll translate it into like the

decent Merrow voice and bring it to us. That's funny because that's like, yeah, I'm doing something right now, and I have to go over my script because they're like, we love the script, but it's not you make it you. So they they're your writers making you. That's not a problem we've ever had. It's like when we um way back in the day, we worked on the Charlemagne Show and it was like, you know, God bless him. I

don't know if he's still alive. It was like this old white writer he was writing a monologue for Charlemagne and he was like, I want to make sure I use the N word the way Charlemagne used the N word and he used the harder yer in the model, and I was like, yo, my man, what are we doing? I was like, yo, man. Like when Charlotgne came through, like what the is this and Charlemagne that's another teacher. For example, he took us in the hameway. It was like,

your family can't let them do this. And that's like we learned to like speak up. We can't let people just do stuff like that. We never had that problem with our writers. Our writers always get us. They never do corny it and they're able to see stuff that's going on right now in real time and figure out how to have it on the show in the time

of the way. So shout to them, like, if we don't get our fucking jump, somebody coming, it's coming best interview to date, and why man, you don't have you don't have to be the sell it's I would say, I would say Denzel Man because like Denzel, like that was super real, you know what I mean. Maybe it might be a recentcy bias, but it was really like he came through and he was just like, Yo, Denzel from Mount Vernon, bro. It wasn't done Zoe Washington, Award

winning actor, you know what I mean. It's like the actor studio. You started chopping it up before the camera started rolling. That's the credit to y'all because you made him feel comfortable. You can't, that's the way you can't. A lot of people feel like they can't let their guard down when they're on camera because they don't know where it's going to go. But it's a credit to you.

But we always said, like we're not trying to make you look stupid, like you know what I mean, Like we had it something like also trying to know because like we had to give you flowers. You know. We always tell people you're gonna have this interview is not gonna be like any interview you've ever had, shopping it up. At the end of every interview, everyone's like, that's an

interview I've never had. So like, for me, the best interview we've done is twishing Tea because we have friends in the past that were involved in legal stuff and the idea that we're both famous. That was crazy. Who's left you in all or all? I think the Obama interview man was like that was just like damn, we're here, you know what I'm saying. Like and it was like it was like COVID city, you know what I'm saying. It was wow that the fact that he number one,

he agreed to do it during that time. Number two, we got to do it and how would you shout the how would you say um and bro so Obama first black president, like evan history of the United States, And he was like, yo, I'll fox with y'all. He came in the room. He was just like, yeah, I know about you. I know about you. I'm a fan of the show You Got four Kids. I was like the Obama nowas that he just had secret service researchers he knew like little ship. But you know what I mean.

I think my the most all inspired interview we've done recently was Michelle Yo, who's in The New Afour a movie Everything Everywhere and everything, because to be around her and you can see like as a woman and an Asian woman, she'd been through so much bullshits. But even during the interview she fussed with us. You know what I'm saying, Like she clearly was like she doesn't watch

the show. I know that, but she was like she had that good energy with energy and there's like one part where like she's letting us like touch her face and she's not like wailing out. She's like going with it like energy and the fact that she was just cool like that like a lot of people in Hollywood was just like no crossing a lot, don't do that.

Whatever she was with the ships and everyone said, that's such a good interview and like to work with a powerhouse like her, Like after you see that movie and what she did and that like as someone in the industry. You see that movie like, how the funk do I do a movie like this? How do I do a role like This's gonna make people cry at the inspirational So just being around someone and just trying to like

getting into of the energy was just amazing. And you know, when you grew up in the her, you into all of them, like Kung Fu flicks and ship like that. So got up on Jackie Chance and she's part of that club. But and she and she like these are saying. She's in the interview, she said to herself, she was like, yo, I was the only woman out there. I'm doing my own stunts, busting my ass, you know what I mean, doing all this wild stuff. And that's how I earned

a respect, you know what I mean. And I fought for my spot where I was that, you know what I mean. So that was wild. I mean, she's nice with it. If y'all had to fight, he who would win? She would because that's what I think. She's not a trained fighter. She's a dancer. So she was able to use her dance moves to translate them to fight moves for all these like that is mine. I'm not letting no woman with my ass. What I was like, are you saying you're gonna funk up michell? Yo, man, listen,

I'm not letting no woman. Don't yo hi, Hey whoever, I'm not letting no woman. When come beat this niggas him like everything Bagel, she better Bruce Leros, get your bullet with her teeth. That's the only way. That's the ship. You gotta you gotta set the parameters though we're fighting in a ring and an octagon or we're on a hunt a thirty eight street. She jumping on buildings and flying new karates, Like remember exactly a couple of weeks ago and I was like, we need to reboot the

Last Dragon. I was like generation heeds the Last Dragon? Jack Jack Curl show enough And I was like, remember the time has a house slippers and fourth grand Motheruckers used to make fun of me. There my dad's I got some reading in my hands for you niggling. Yeah, do you think the generation? Could you think the generation with a reboot of the Last Dragon? Yes, it gets You have to be the right people who would be in it. Who do you see as the ideas show enough?

Like Jaden Smith or somebody else. No, not James Chris Brown as uh yeah, I would. I would go Chris Brown. That's so problematic it works, you know, you know, you know who. I would go at Bruce Lee, Roy Loupe Fiasco because she could be practicing all that ship shows up? Who's showing up? Who's showing up? Your bro? I was just watching Green Good start writing the script. Actually, no, Eric Adams in a wig. We must be turning the

swag to New York ship. And you know he would rather do that that me, Joseph, keep that crawl on. He could be He's right here, yeah, running up. How did you get into sports, oh man? Being in New York born to race? I literally was born Cooper across the street from the original Yankees. Everybody from the y'all got handles. I don't know here. I got hit by a car, so my athletic dreams died. But after that, did you have a game? Before that, I was jumping out the gym, bro, I was, I'm two fifty now

I was. I shot up because you know how they when you ball. And he was a boy a car too, So I'm with you know what I'm saying, But not Ni you grew to be much moller than me. But you know how they do you in in like in grade school and middle school. If you're told, they're just like, yo, you play, you play no guard skills. You know you're playing the you know what I mean. So my thing was just like I was like five six five seven a junior high and I just hoop like I played guard,

you know what I'm saying. So when I went to high school, like over the summers, like I shot up to six too. Whatever the funk I'm at now? And but then I got by scar and it's a rap. But I was just like obsessed with hooping, bro. Like I would wake up in the morning, ten o'clock in the morning, go outside me my boys cut class and just hooping apart all day till ten o'clock at night. My mom's, yo, where you at. I'm at the park. Come yo, screws. You come around yo. Choice in the corner.

You have to be the street lights. If the street lights came on. Yeah, she's beeping me like you when you an. She was like, I know what this motherfucker's it's good skirt. I told them all the same ship and he was just like, well, look what you at now we had the we had that midnight basketball program. It's like, Yo, the thing was I sucked. I was really bad at basketball. I'm not going to about appreciate and I'll be honest, I'm to New York to be like, yeah,

I suck at basketball. I wish players would be like that, yeah, because some of them not that good. I'm just got in here. But I said, so I knew I'm just going to shoot the corner three. That's like I can't. The thing was, well, but if you look, I have really good eyebrows, so it does well with the bitches. So that's what I was working you know what I was working on. And I was doing my numbers off for that so well with but I still got so I'll say, you'll go to Saphora whatever she wants, whatever

rush she wants with something. But you know what it is like if you're the a smelltherfucker like a duck are you fourteen? And you're dunking like you know what I mean, Like everybody's like, oh ship, you know what I mean? And that's what I was doing. I was going to that shut up, but I'm getting it, you know what I mean. So I was, you got guys like that playing basketball for really, You've got guys like me coming out the gym and put on c K one kay one, one of my little white boys that

I used to go before every day. And you don't even got a shower after the gym. Okay. But it was classic New York, classic New York stop hoping man, like can't hit a jumper for ship, but I got all the handles in the basket. New York. New York is so weird, Like being a sports fan of New York is like part of being a New Yorker. So like even as a kid, like I've grown up a Rangers fan New York City hockey, Like I've been watching

this as a kid. Like even I was like crying the other day when they lost in the bar because I've been a Rangers fan of my whole life and people are like, why are you a Rangers fan? Because I'm from New York, Like I was here ninety four Mark MESSI all that ship. I wouldn't even say why you're rang I was, I would say how are you a hockey fan? It would be my question. That's something like why can't black people they can? But I'm that's the first black person. So that's what black people at

the bar. You know, I get it because we can't. We don't grow up playing hockey because you know, ice rinks in our neighbors. Nothing. I saw a whole life be beating the ship out of each other every game. Why are not its normal? Bro? It's like watching World Star on ice because we see the same ship on the block every day. But then they tell you to go stand in the corner like your parents for five minutes and you can come back and play again. Shouts

to hockey shots, you know, like the black Ranger. So what so what is this is it? Is it Nick's Yankees Rangers or four combinations in New York City? Nick's Yankees,

Giants Rangers, four Mets Islanders was Sets, Nets, Jets Islanders. Yeah, so like if you little brother teams like your father's got here kind of like yeah, yeah, a lot of father's done your life, Like you're rooting for the Jets, and you know, like as actual Nick fans, we don't respect the Nets, and not because they're the Nets, but we grew up with the Nets with the team from New Jersey. That's like, shouts to my boy Garrets, who's been the nick the Nets fans since like second. That's

what I told all the time. I was like, yo, if you're a New Jersey Nets fan, you're a real who carry kidles. You know who Kendle Gilli is exactly for those days. But if you're like yo, when yo, when they got when they got pulled pierce in them, I was like, let me park my fix. Also, we're hat Barclay has better food. But that's what push your highest moments and lowest moments as a Nick fan. I don't know how highest moment like every time, not not

physically high, but high moments on the Knicks. I know it ain't many, so okay, I know it's a lot of low. My highest moment was it was one night I was like, we pregame and I was ripped and we go into the game. Is the Knicks versus the um Memphis and Mellow history shots in a row. It goes like this, and I like this, he's going for the scoring record and Mellow set the scoring record MSG night and I was living at the They took him out of the game and I was like, nigga, run

that ship to ninety let's go Mike would. I always wondered that ship too, like if if, like if if, if a dude's on the precipice of breaking the record, let him keep going. It should be up to him and not the coach. Someone was saying, I think John Sally was the one that said that when Kobe Yeah, but he said he said, Phil Jackson said, some records aren't meant to be broken. That's not your choice. Feel. I love you feel, but that's not your man, Phil Jackson's.

That's also a memory I have, and it used to be one of the sadads memories I had, But now things, you know, things have happened to change it. Because I was there when Kobe set the record at MS at the Garden and I was like, what the funk is going on? Because everyone had on the Lakers jerseys, like

everyone was chairing for Kobe. He's hitting half court shots the money on our fucking ass and I'm sitting there like I'm in a spree rold Jersey by the way, I was like, what, But now you know, since he died everything, I'm like, yo, I was blessed enough for Kobe do history at MSG A game like I will

always remember that no matter how old I get. And it's just like just I think the moments that happened to the NBA, you don't realize like how kind of they are in the moment you have tom away from it and you look at it, You're like, yo, I was there. I was lucky to be there and like recipes probly broun to God like that, like that. I will always remember that. That was like a very special

woman msg bist Man. Oh man, it was like this is wild because it's like kind of recent, but it was like mellow er Nick's uh first round I think it was the first round against the Celtics and we

had the number, you know what I'm saying. And then it was like an elimination game and NIX is like down by one and they this play or whatever, and I think Melo gets the bull, shoots it, it bounces out, but Jared Jeffreys gets the rebrand and I'm thinking, oh, this is light work gets going, just laid up, it's gonna go. My man just does some wow like me drunk at the you know what I mean, at the

open gym layup mrs. The rim game over, I was like, bro, bro, what did you do, like, like how you in the NBA, my g And they were like, well, he plays really great defense. I was just like, God, damn, bro, but make a layup nick Na Like that ship, Bro, it's crazy. How is those ninety nine LJ used to conference final?

That ship went up? That ship went that? Actually the people, the truthers now saying he stepped on the line and she's never counted or that he wasn't what it is the zoomed out shot of like them replaying it and when he gets fouled, everybody crazy, Like everybody stood up at the same time, the cameras vibrating and ship. I was just like, yo, man, this is different, bro, and y'all know better when the Knicks are relevant. When the Knicks are relevant the NBA, it's always such a moment.

My lowest point I remember is Mike Woodson's coach. Everyone's like fire Mike Woodson to the crowd. So because the Nicks knew, they didn't want to know it was Isaiah Thomas. So it's like fire, isa Remember to do a chance. And the thing with the Knicks management was like, never give the crowd a chance to do a crowd a chance never let them do the fire Day Chance. We love doing the fire Day Chance. Also through some music on there, two girls get into a fight on the

mezzanine and it's so wild. The players are actually looking at the fight, so they have to stop to play. Ione's watching the fight. Nothing's going on, and all of a sudden, the MSG starts to fire a chance. To make it worse, they start two waves, like one level was doing a wave, the other levels doing a wave. And I was like, firerise this franchise. If we are never winning anything, starts at the top. Dolan starts at the top, and as far as how gleeful, everyone was

like doing the wave. I would never do the wave, but he was like yeah, And I was like, that means we're bad. If we're doing the wave during a game. That's not good. On the wave during a basketball game. What is this? We locked in like this like yo ship. I wouldn't. I wouldn't. It's kind of hard to ask a question because it seems like I want. I want to put you in a bad place where y'all stressed out and damn they're dying. Just put yourself in that place for a minute and be the GM of the Knicks.

What would you do to change change the Knicks. I wouldn't. I wouldn't. I wouldn't go crazy with it, you know what I'm saying. Like, but that's what they do, Like they chase names, like the whole mellow Ship like it was everybody was saying like, yo, just wait, just wait, just wait, he's going to be a free agent in like two months, bro, just wait, not trade, everybody get him over here like like those type of moves. I wouldn't do something like that. I'll around trade. I'll do

some NBA. I'd be like, yo, yo, Lakers, Uh listen, uh take back Julie's randle and send us back ship a D and some like vioactive choose you know what I'm saying, like keep the Nick healthy, know what I'm saying, or something, you know what I mean. The Knicks front offer gets a lot of ship and they deserve it, but they've been falling back lately and they've been people.

It's kind of similar to how they've been handling the Rangers, because like the Knicks front office, the same people front office for the Rangers, and they used to meddle all the time, and once they stopped meddling with the Rangers. The Rangers got better, and I feel like the Knicks front officers like letting them cook. Do you manage? You know? So like you see a manually, quick a manual quickly.

You know what I'm saying. He can be the point guard, let him cook, give him playing time, all that stuff. So I'm like, I'm not mad at them. They're doing a lot better now, But I mean, it's the Knicks. No matter what they do, they're gonna be laughed at. We are like laughing stock of the NBA. When we tell you something where we win this champion be burning this ship down. You call a national guard. I'm TIPI bro, I don't care. I don't care. I think I'll put

my head in the draw. I'm seeing this. Motherfucker chip Bro, I'll flip. I'm watch. You're not ready. We're gonna burn this. Eric Adams, You're not ready for what happens with Nick fans that championship, telling you hid your kids, how'd your wife were still? We would not will be alive to see it. I will be. I would be the wind till my kids pushing mead All right, watch out force in four. I mean we're coming. What's bigger to get in the million followers? The Yankees getting another ring, Yankees

getting of the ring man. It's been a minute. It's been messages nineine, bro, because a Yankee fans like, we can't be as cocky as we used to be because took my dick every year was he was in the mix. Yeah, we have it once. It's oh nine. What I'm saying just grown. Ask kids out here. I have never seen a Yankee. It's like the Lakers, bro. Like the Lakers not making the playoffs is crazy to me. You know. Also Jeter having a million followers accoun because's married now,

he can't pussy off of it. You know what I mean, He can't. He can't go into d M was an animal mandate lifted because the Yankee is about to start. Uh, you know what the Yankees day estra to go to the stimerners so they don't need like vaccines. Different Yankees. You're not bigger than the Yankee. You're not bigger than the quiet from just not being to the game because

of the vackstage. I didn't say anything, but I'm saying like we were just like, yeah, like many time you got something about their vaccinating Like listen, I'm just here for the team. You're like, okay, okay, all right, I've been vaccinated by God. Yeah what I'm saying, I'm vaccinated by friendship. That's not facing the Lord keep by association.

I was commentating Mayweather and Paul. That was wild because people were mad because at the time, like you know, Paul was like a hell you know what I'm saying, Like he had that like nobody wanted him to win neither the week because we were like, yo, were like we're boxing fans, you know what I'm saying. Like at first, it was just like yo, this ship is kind of like goofy, Like damn Floyd, Bro, you know what I mean, Like you alleged, my g you're getting in the ring

with this bozo. But then it was like, bro, we got this, We got this. Look, this is bananas. We don't like pay per view like straight calling a fight. Bro. That was that was again a moment be like yo, we in Miami. These people were getting upset because it was like, you guys don't know boxing. I was like, this is not really, this is not boxing. This motherfucker came in with a Pokemon call at the same time,

we're like, holy ship, we're holding him with it. Like at one point we're interviewing may Weather and he's like, yeah, with your showy dudes, talk to me differently now because like my ship went. I was like this team or players that you guys are impressed by Trey Young. I fucking hate and love Trade Young. He's a new big poppy, the new Man era mirrors. He has his neck, he has his foot on the nick neck. Y'all need to hate everybody if that's the case, stack stop, this is

a good show, shot, stack drop. I want to see that show something. It wasn't even hard. I had no Tray Young, like he's under our skin and the thing it's like Tray Young, he'd be turning up when he's an MSG. And I respect the funk that like he's like, yo, I could play good on these other teams, but will be on your fucking and I like that. It's reminiscent

of Reggie Miller. And remember because I was making stuff shows with my mother, but Reggie Miller did at like nine point play and my mother was like stop because my hands were shaking so badly. I couldn't do the stuff. Shows. I was like, ship, I'll give it to Reggie though, because he admitted he's just like, yeah, I pushed the ship out that nick I don't give Yeah, he didn't even trying to lie like like didn't push off. No, no, no,

no no, he's like I pushed my off. But no, like Trey Young doing the this, like listen, keep being disrespectful. I love thirty six piece in the garden. You okay, okay, light work? Oh thirty six against the next thirty three in the garden? Oh okay, okay. Wow, you know it's crazy. No one asked that I mentioned that cheers to that gods every crage thirty six. I was like, yeah, we were coming to my child funeral. What team would you rather hang out within their championship party? Oh? Because they

got Edwards you know what I say? Just at Edwards off GP like he like he's like a personality like he is just like he don't care, like you're not a lot of athletes come in and they gotta and they try to clean themselves up, talk a certain way. He don't give a funk, bro, And also ads bought the team. Say so you know, I mean it's a new York b X connection right there. I want to party with holdup j R. Smith. I gotta say, I gotta say, I gotta say it. So y'all still love

a Rod even though he cheated. I mean I love it even for that word yeast means he watched it. Word. Let me say something. It's a video a Rod. Listen, this is got a baseball coming in NBA. Because to think about the thing about baseball as a woman, he just took a viagrah you feel me, No, that's not the same. That's what it was. Definitely not. I'm trying to bottom of the pussy. We know we don't change back.

I'm not even about analogy and basketball and not even He's like before a lot of weed that's baseball is desfraid basketball y'are constantly scoring, you're constantly moving the ball. You got players in baseball that's just gonna stand there for two hours without the ball comments to them, Yeah, we need some that don't cheat. Too great. I am all for cheating in baseball. This hard straight up, Like, what was what did Barry Bonds do so wrong? Make

the game better him? So? What you gotta think if you're a real baseball fan like Baseball needed that ship at the time because it was wire, So I did not enough blonde highlights what I'm saying. So here's one thing. If you look on YouTube, you know I'm saying this is type of motherfucker was though, bro, Like, this is a game they're playing. The Blue Jays a regular season game. Baseball, basketball, you got eighty two games. Baseball is a hunting and

sixty sixties something game. There's a regular, middle season, regular because a game. This motherfucker wants this win so bad that he's a pop fly. He's running around a basis and he goes, I got it, I got it, and it ship just drops because and Blue Jay's motherfucker's mad as fun. But I was just like, I respect that she wanted. You can't win legally that like is on tied shoes and ship that's New York ship. That's why

I fun with Stevens is so crazy. And I'm like, yeah, you should be first team O NBA every year for the your entire career. You j lo back, don't shot, she's gone, you got, He's gone, He's come on, you got? Oh no, you hit a home run off with naked the slippery but he's like, you don't saying you get it back. I know that Flack character. Flack Donovan Mitchell to the Knicks, what do you think about Let's go. I'm not mad at that. Let's go. I'm not mad

the homie spider. You know what I'm saying. So you don't call a duty much. However, the problem is the Knicks will sign him in ten years when his knees are blown out. Three hundred billion dollar deal for four years. You're like, what what? Why? He mostly to diebet? He's what now we signed into a sending you like goddamn? Like he appa the next sign Jimmy from Hoosiers right now, ship and I will buy your jersey. I have a Ron Baker jersey. Come on, I got so many jerseys.

I got a Frank I got my kids in a Frankner Lakeena jersey. Okay, if you ever scored one point, I have your jersey. Shout to Chris Dudley. You know what I'm saying. Shot to Michael Doleak, you know what I mean. Not the Steve franchise. Stevie fan, you feel me, Stevie frank Yo. Shot shot to my man, see money, we was in sitting in basement this like I had a bet Apauli going when the next to the nixt had to cover the spread that was the last thing

on the paul It. Steve Francis hits one of them, bullshit, ass like this game is over. We done? While he the table after he's just shot at three for no reason, like the game is over, we're losing. He just but the cover the spray. But he made it happen. Bro. That was Yeah, that was a championship right there. Shot to Stephen shot Ronnie Churry off Jackie. I'm pulling that on the wow out of the player that had everyone like, where is he from Slynch? Is he from the Dutch lab?

Why do you look like the Jennie from Aladdin? Were cold with straight backs? I got Morty Collins jersey to probably, but he's a Morty Collins guy. After any phone right, Mello Clapton ship like black remember that he got up but holding the jersey. No, don't what else you guys working on right now outside of your show? I mean, we got the New York Times best selling book out there.

Knowledge starts wrong, baby, Okay, we need to sign copy. Oh, we got you with that, but we know we got we we got we want to do like movies and stuff like that, just like all types of anything. We're

wars and we'll do any different checks. So did you think did you ever think, starting where you started that all these doors, because we're starting to see it now, just so many doors are opening, did you ever expect all these doors to open that are absolutely not what's the craziest door do you feel like it's opened us far? For you guys? Probably the initial door at like complex, because like in this industry, you meet people there like still like hours three years old, I want to be

on TV. I've never wanted to be on TV. At no point have I ever wanted this life. The fact that we have this and we're killing it, like every morning, it's just like this is not real. This is so wild,

so you just you don't take it for granted. But at this home time, it's like it's a wild ride, just like kind of you can't really believe it because like even like when you walk the street and like I really be like, oh, I gotta go buy lotion at Dwayne Read and so it's like Jesus funk with the show and you're like, holy shit, I'm Jesus, I forgot that. That's me. Like really, I'm like I'm thinking my government name. So it's like little things like that.

So there's nothing that's been like up here, like yo, that's crazy. Like even the littlest things just like like we just did a promo for the NBA and they reached out to us to do it, and I'm just like little things like that, like out of all the people on the internet, you gotta reach out to us, and we got a really nice check for it. So little things like it's little victories every day that just have you like, Yo, this is wild. How do you

balance working family? It's you know, talk to Kevin Hard because he Keavin Hard says some real he's staying on some deep ship. But he said something that really resonated with me. He was just like, Yo, listen, you gotta you gotta marry your family and date your job. You're saying your career. And I was just like I took that home and I was just like I chewed on it for a minute. I was like, Oh, I understand what you're saying, because like you know what I mean.

Like like he was saying like the doors are open. You know what I'm saying, We in you know what I mean, And like we're shown improved already, So I don't gotta go so crazy, you know what I mean? Like, oh, yo, look at me, look at me, Look at me, look at me. The proof is gonna pudding, you know what I'm saying. So like I could focus and be like, yo, I need to beat it for myseln's basketball. I need to beat it for my son's baseball games, my daughters

inside or whatever, you know what I'm saying. So like things like that, like it's super important to me because I'm like I don't want to see them pictures in twenty years and I ain't in them, you know what I mean. And you know you know what I'm saying, Like because like you said, you can't get it back, you know what I mean. So like graduations, birthday ship like that, like that's super important to me. So I tell like I tell my sisters, like, YO, block that out,

you know what I'm saying. Let's like, yo, aliens come down from Mars and it's like, yeah, I want to interviete it with these niggers. I'm like, yo, block the ship out, We'll find out what the check is, like exactly word. If it's yeah, word, that's let me know how big the bag is. You know what I'm saying, then we would make decision graduation. Yeah, I don't have any kids, and I'm trying to get all these bags. You know. Listen, if you hit me right now, I'll

fly to l A tomorrow. I'm a whore. Let's go. Who are Decens and Merril's off TV? Who we are off TV? The same people we are on TV? Just you just regular Bronxe people. Just like literally, if you catch me in the street, like you're not gonna catch me being Jesus, Like I'm not gonna be like oh no, Papa or whatever. Like you might catch like the people that catch me smoking weed in the street and like yo, you're smoking weed. And I was like, yeah, it's kind

of the brand. What about the smoke? Right now? Soon as we get done, let's go bro. But no, like we are the same people. We've always been, nothing changed, Like that's why that's why we went. That's what we feel like. It was weird because we all both have a kind of a stigma who we were, but we brought that ship to this space and this motherfucker's about to start acting in movies. I'm all over the place and TV. But it's I think staying true to yourself

speaks volumes. Listen. They can see the authenticity. It comes through every time. The hardest thing is that keeping up a front too. I'm a z you go, what did I tell this? You gotta talk about the lot that you told this as a former liar, that recovering stop my therapy so quick hitters man, funniest thing to happen you all recently. All the time, this happens like if people will be see me in the street st Jackson, what yo, deesus and Merrow Yo, I focus shop and

watched it forever. Yo, I focused a heavy Mirrow and I'm like, I'm not. I'm like, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not Merrow. He finished them a kid guy with the kids. So that is all the time, like people, they and the thing is that you talk to something. They've been watching the show for ten years. They just don't know the difference between us, so you get confused. For me all the time. I wish I wish that show with El de Barge I wish ship.

First thing both do you do in the morning, the last thing you do for you go to bed, smoke and smoke. Yeah, yeah, pretty much need the breakfast in the nightcap between. Now I have like a mouthguard because I ground my teeth. But yeah, that's about it. Trying to grow. I got back with this long way for me at the crimp right now. Okay, we're going out there. I got I brought the tree from Kylie. He got the back wood, YA got the pay papers. Whatever you do,

we got you favorite New York. I'm gonna flip this top three low key restaurants to eat at like Fire Food. It's not a big name, but just fire got you. I'm talking because I want to go eat like okay, Number one shots to my mat Sean. He has a restaurant and women's work called Lilia which has a two month reservation list to get to it. But we know you something good. We know you some good. No, literally,

if you mentioned my name, you for getting it. The food is INCREDI the second time you know you got go. Lilia's is great. Lilias and Williamburg go to LOCALI shout to Locali's with jay Z fux with it too. It's a piece of place in Woodsburg and it's like the wild asshole piece of place because they don't do reservations, so if you want to go, you have to stand online, and people staying online the totally worth it and the paninis.

You can't go wrong with that. And because I'm a humble person, go to the Crown Fried Chicken located on White Place, Rod and two Street at Tall Ali. He just said to come through the snack box to die for you three, and I was I was talking about this before. So my top three is if if you're in the city, and so I try to missing these show my brother Victor Lopez and has Shorty got a popping is very low key date type of situation and

saying beautiful, windless, amazing Northern Italian cuisine. That joint then these two spots is uptown. So my legong is like, h it's like, uh, you know what I mean, Like Dominican food. It's like it's come. I'm saying, all that ship that good, you know what I'm saying. But it's fresh because it's popping and it's popular, so it's the food is rotating out, so they ain't sitting in the trail there? You know what ship is fresh and popping and then you got Althena, it's a fish fry on dykeman.

So you were talking about, yes, sir, outside of the outside of the food, what else is popping there? Yeah, there's a lot of fishing that cats. Yeah, you know what I'm saying a lot of a lot of things. But what I'm saying because I used to like, I used to work in nightclubs and all that stuff, and I'm going to open a bar soon. So are you going to you guys want to come in on that? Man, I'm definitely like you. If you would were to remake a movie together, which one would it be? And who

are you if we re remade a movie? Hasn't read a movie with two people broke back Malone? Ye know a movie that, um do you guys remember who's the man? But the thing is like disorderlies in this climate? Could we be cops? That would be good cops? Would be like, whoa, You're not good cops? That's most cops. So that so we got that. Actually know we want to remake all four of us. We're gonna rea fried green Tomatoes from

the hood perspective. Just to be funny. I would love to see y'all to make remake just one uh episode. I want one thing lead the weapon, that dope dope. I think I think y'all would kill it the streets and it's not a it's not a movie, it's a TV show. But the street has been asking for that New York under covery. You gotta covers cold though they had all the dope music and everything. Yeah, ship man

j C. Torres following people. They're going to nose afterwards for facts like hes a durgle down in the face and that like leather running down the street. Like, y'all stop, that's body all in the hood. If you're from the bronx side of your body all eat. You guys have a starting five to play against each other with current NBA players. Who's your starting five? Alright? One in time, current current your who's your first pick? Uh Edwards? Who's

your first pick? Uh? Man? You quickly Devin Booker, who come on? You? Two lawyers? Swam forward? Bron Tatum at the four, motherfucking well, I got at the four. The dude in Brooklyn, that's not exactly try to he said, turns doing Yo, nah fucking car. Yeah, no, I'm gonna say, I'm listening. I'm gonna I'm okay, I'm your first time. Come on. In my head, I'm like, yo, like who you got four? Who's your four man? O? Good call? And at the five, I'm a run with you said,

he's like acting active. Let's go one retired with any position, it don't matter. I'm shock at the fi we could one retired Michael Jordan's dog. But you will never see Emanuel quickly Michael Jordan on the same team and no other lists on earth. Michael Jordan and that's my little bro. But I want to see that documentary Michael Jordan kill like this little Niger though he's better than me, shouts Michael Jordan's doing that documentary. At the end of it

was like he's not a good person. The best part we watched that documentary and look at the levels of the liquor from the editor in his it's like here that's in his eyes and nice like this. I wish you know, Yeah, I was an Olympics. Were you looking at the bad twist? I just crossed the treets, like I think it would say in front of me the Z Ship though, were Mike. It was crazy how they

go they keep going back and forth. Ste the Funny Ship was at the top seventy five when Zeke went over there and with with stething the magic and he walked off and Mike walked behind him and they just both turned around laughing, and somebody did the voiceover and it was talking like they were talking, and that ship was hivarious. I didn't see that album you can listen

to with those skips. With those skips, I want to say jay Z reasonable doubt because I learned more from that album, and I probably learned from my father, Like that ship told me how to run the streets and told me how to hustle. That told me how the business. That taught you about like relationships that are gonna like fail, how to deal with people gonna betray You should have

win Trip like you should have win triple platinum. And it is like even listening back to it now, you're like, yo, family, the my stuff you learned in the album just prepare you for life. And if not that album, I have to go with Outcasts A t Aliens just an amazing album. They fucking killed it and as a New York person listening to people from the South. That's like, I remember it sold out in the Bronx the day had dropped.

Really the album was, like I remember, I was like going through things in life and the album really got me through a lot of stuff. So shout to the outcast. I was on a heavy jay Z ben I was just telling Gilani like three months ago where all his he was dropping so much. Jaz has been dropping joints that they don't like people like they're whacked. But if you don't have the life jay Z has, you don't

understand that he has that song Holy Grail. He's like, I can't go to the store with my daughter without paparazzi popping up. If you work at TV bank, you know what he's talking about me. You know what I'm saying. I can't say my daughters to I don't have a daughter, but you know what I mean, Like, you know you mob Deep Hell on Earth? Yeah, Man, start to the recipece with DDP, one of the Greate seven just had micro straight hand. He said the same thing about mob D.

You know what I mean? Like, Yo, that that's man. The production on that Havoc is a fucking animal be on the boards. And then you had Prodigy kicking his ship and it was just like, man like that ship took me to another level, be like I would throw the headphones on and go bombing. But I will say this as a New York Chersian, h I C. I loved the Mob five albums until I met Mom Dve. They're both very short. Oh yeah, so I was terrified

of Mob Deve and so I met him. There was a big, bad motherfucker's before because they took all the flicks like this ones, but shout the having that's the HOMEI shout the project. But it was like, no, that was definitely music like you listen to that if you're gonna go beat someone up to be on the train musling that and some MP. It was very few people. We were listening to hustling while we was on the block in the South. When we listened to Mob. No, I grew up on a bar M J g U

g K, star face body. Yeah. We grew up for the Spice forward and from here we jammed click, we jam nas A Z, Big and Big and jay Z of course, but that's effects who is you know what I'm saying money artists you would listen to to get money money growing up. If you try, if you're grinding right now, you gotta focus. Who's the artist right now? Back then? Back then, uh not me? Like then, probably

was probably was West Coast music. It's probably snooping them proth when Doggie Stock came out and I had that Ship on c D and my parents in English was shaky, so they didn't know what the fun they were saying in the song. So I could play that s in the car on the way to school and ship like that, like going on and see my grandmother and just blasting fucking like murder was the case. West Coast music was to get money music? How deep West Coast talking like

spice one. We talk Magma, yeah, body rich, Yeah, we went on, We went on for ah No, that was she free with the first girl. I was like that because investigate that he's still got a ponytail. Remember he was in jail making a beat with a little dime. They got the help the count this money and shoot, you asked from the roof, that's about life. I got to l a and I'm driving on the highway and shout quick when you on the five show, bro, that's what people that's the dream people want. That makes me

like I'm moving out here. Yeah, we were out. Matter of fact, we was out there and you know this is bananas. Uh, this like vice ever. So we pop out and shot out to the Jessie Willis Homie. We out with Williams and we come out this party and this dude runs up yea, yea. Yeah, I'm a huge train of y'all. Maintry with your heavy mank. We turned around Rose too short. I was like, I was, Yeah, we lost, but we always like meet people. And it's weird because they think coming from the East Coast, we

don't sunk with them. But like the word freaking tails come on corrupt everyone from the West Coast, Like we grew up on them niggas as Like, yes, we knew about the East Coast West Coast War, but that didn't mean it wasn't banks. Yes, I hate l A and I hate New York, New York. That's song, but I know all the words for it. Expect the DC all that yall. When the dock losses form hurt. I got dog food on cassette. Yeah, crib Bro classic recipes names. That's a lot of George that skin. He's like, yo,

stop had this show. He's like, I'm into a fucking hose in Japan. That's something like that, and they had the skin. Was just like, oh yeah, you have sketches on albums. Facts, uh, some game where A should give the listeners right now? Oh man, listen, if you want to be in TV, there's a lot of things in TV that's not in front of the camera. You know what I'm saying. Like my man right here, he's shooting his ship. You know what I'm saying, he's getting the

bag man right, he's producing the ship. He's getting a lot of jose. You know I'm saying. A lot of people is behind the camera working doing this stuff. And you can get in the industry without being in front of the camera. So don't jump out and be like, yo, I gotta be in front of the camera all day that or that edit some ship. You know what I'm saying, Like, work on that because that will make you, will help you make your own ship. I don't say you gotta

depend on nobody else. I think my advice and I said this on the tax Phone podcast, which is kind of weird. It's, um, you have to be comfortable with yourself, and you have to be able to appreciate the person you see in the mirror. And the quote I always use, which is wild be honestly has a song called pret hurts, and she's like, when you look in the mirror, do you like what you see? And if you, as a man, do not like the person you are? How far are

you gonna get in life? Like if you're not comfortable with yourself, are you gonna be comfortable with like the occupation another the network gives you? Are you gonna comfortable with this projection you're giving? You can't be So it's just like if you're not, like, you know, shout the Dr Scott again, I'll pay you a lot for this. But you know, like if you can't look in the mirror and be like, yo, I'm proud of Jesus, I'm proud of mirror. I'm proud of Matt, Like what are

you even doing? Like why are you waking up in the morning? So that's my whole thing, Like don't chase it for money, don't chase it for fame, for cloud whatever, Just like be able to lay in bed at night and be happy with the person you want, and that's like the doesn't get better than that. You can have like a Bentley, you can have a fifty million dollar house. But if at now you can't sleep knowing who the funk you are? What's even the point? Ain't worth it?

Feel it? Last question? If you can have a guest or all the smoke? Who would it be? But you have to help us get your answer on our show. Oh a duel on all the smoke, Gil King and Oprah damn, that would be the top mountain. Let's try. Let's try to get though she was, what else can we have? They're they're not option? Okay, Joe Biden in Obama, gotta be again. Let's try third times of trying to try. Let's see did you get this number as to be

someone who could actually come on the show? Right? Okay? Uh, y'all know everybody, let me say that again. You don't have to be a duo. It could be a solo persons not giving anybody that's y'all know that ship. Uh fucking uh. I don't have to be two people in one person. You gotta be you know what you gotta do in l A and you gotta smoke. Okay, motherfucking Tom Hanks. I want to I want to see that. I want to say that the highest night, Lieutenant dying.

You know what I'm saying to pull up chat. Have you seen road production, chet Man? That ship is good. If you ever if you didn't think Tom Hans played a gangster, you gotta watch this movie.
