¶ Weekend Reflections on Trump
So it's the weekend, folks. You know, I think we can have a little bit of fun with this, but we've all listened to Donald Trump for way too long, right? I think we can all agree it's been a hell of a long haul. We're just praying that he doesn't win this election. We're tired of it. But one of the things I've noticed about Donald Trump in all of this is that he lasts about 10 or 15 seconds. You know, let's just say 20. 20 second Donnie, and then he's done. 20 seconds.
That's about all you get, folks. And then it turns into a word salad if he's asked a question. You know, it goes on for about 10 to 15, maybe 20 seconds. And then he just chucks out a word salad. You know, this is what you get. And I've got a series of examples here. And just kind of play along with this and listen to this. So here he is. This is a question that he was asked. This is a recent one. What is your foreign policy plan?
Okay, and here's how he answered that. But realistically, because of the failed foreign policy out of this current administration, we are on the verge of World War III. When you get back in office, what are you going to do to change it? So a lot of things are happening very fast. And, you know, we could end up in World War III before we get there. The way it's going right now, look at Russia with Ukraine. That's a word selling. Look at the Middle East. It's exploding all over the place.
And we have people that look, we have a president that he spends most of his time on the beach. I never saw a guy could sleep in front of a camera. Does anybody think of it? I don't sleep that much. I toss and turn. I think, I think, I think. I'm always thinking. Do you ever do that? You're sore.
¶ Word Salad in Action
10 to 15 seconds, maybe 20, and it's a word salad. Here's another one. Have a listen to this. So this is Trump fielding questions at the Economic Club of New York. If you win in November, can you commit to authorizing legislation to make child care affordable? And if so, what specific piece of legislation will you advance? Well, I would do that. And we're sitting down, you know, I was somebody, we had Senator Marco Rubio and my daughter Ivanka was so impactful on that issue.
It's a very important issue. you. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about, that because.
Child care couldn't you know there's something you have to have it in this country you have to have it but when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that i'm talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they're not used to but they'll get used to it very quickly and it's not going to stop them from doing business with us but they'll have, a very substantial tax when they send product into our country those numbers
are so much bigger than any numbers that we're talking about, including child care. Oh, my God. I mean, that's a huge word salad. There's enough there for everybody. And then, folks, here's one, too. Have a listen to this. So the question is, if elected, how will you address the situation with our adversaries? Elected, how would you address the situation with our adversaries? I'll be able to make phone calls and solve most of the problems.
I may actually have to meet a couple of times, but you know, the, and you've heard me say this, but it wasn't long ago. He said, the only way you're going to solve the world problem is Trump has to be president again. And I don't say it. I didn't say it. I sort of would be embarrassed to say it. Word salad. But he said, everybody was afraid of Trump. He said, China was afraid. Russia was afraid. North Korea was afraid. Everybody was afraid. Everybody's afraid.
Everybody's afraid of Trump. You know, when it gets a little too deep, a little too long, you know, just chug out the word salad so here he is donald trump was asked a very simple question what will you do to keep our jobs here and what do you get another word salad what action will you take to ensure that our jobs stay in america so we can continue to build the best cars in the world here in michigan good question pretty much as we've been
saying and what i want to do is i want to be able to five look your business years ago in this area i was honored as the man of the year oh that That happened quick. Maybe 20 years ago. Oh, and the fake news heard about it. They said, it never happened. It never happened. And I didn't know who it was. It was a group that honored me as man of the year. Oh, my God. The fakers back there. Five seconds. Five seconds on that word solid, folks.
They said, oh, and they looked and it, you know, they said it never happened. But I said, I swear to you, it happened. Nothing of substance there. Everybody just move along. There's nothing of substance here. That was a great question. What will you do to keep our jobs here and he lasted five seconds and then chucked out the word salad here's another one folks have a listen to this so the question was.
¶ Questions and Quandaries
It's oh i don't know i'll just play it here it is you're gonna hear this one so related to this is the whole issue of contraceptives do you support any restrictions on a person's right to contraception, Well, we're looking at that, and I'm going to have a policy on that very shortly. And I think it's something that you'll find interesting. And it's another issue. Word salad. It's very interesting, but you will find it, I think,
very smart. I think it's a smart decision. But we'll be releasing it very soon. Well, that didn't even last five seconds. And then the word salad came out. And folks, it's kind of like the health care plan where he's got concepts and, I don't know, you know, concepts and more concepts of a healthcare plan. Never even touched the answer of the question. And the last one here, folks, I've got to show you this.
¶ Trump’s 2024 Vision
So the question here is, this is with Hannity, and he tries to end his interview by asking Trump a softball question about what he'll do differently if he runs in 2024. So you have to listen to this. I mean, that's an easy question. Nice question. Giving Trump the whole ability there to kind of answer it in a way that's coherent and in a way that makes sense, in a way that people understand and maybe gain some votes in the process. But no, here's how that went. Let's see how long this takes.
Is there anything, and we have a minute left, if you do run in 2024, what might you do differently? What do you know now that you didn't know in 2016? Well, you know, we ran a very successful administration. We had the greatest economy in history. We had 160 million jobs. We were never even close to that. Nobody was ever even close to that. And we did it twice because then we did it after the pandemic. We came with a vaccine. We did a lot of great things and we did it after.
But I was under siege with fake investigations and everything. And I was doing I was doing this while I was under siege from phony people with phony Russia, Russia, Russia that was caused by Clinton and the DNC Democrats and all of that. And we did it. We built Space Force. We did, you know, we did Space Force. So there's a, there's an answer folks that went on a little bit longer. So that's why I'm saying about 10 to 15 seconds. And that's about all that Donnie can last about 10 to 15 seconds.
And then the word salad just comes out, you know, for what it's worth. It's interesting. It's something that I think I'm more cognizant of the word salad effect, the 10 to 15 seconds. I think it's something now that maybe you can be more cognizant of as he's giving answers. Now, when he's allowed to ramble, like at these rallies, he's got one in Butler, Pennsylvania today, right? Elon's supposed to be there, our good friend Elon, right?
And, you know, when he rambles, it just, it's all word salad. But when he's asked a question, 10 to 15 seconds, folks, and that's it, watch for it. I mean, it's amazing, but true.
